    Had the best experience ever with Penco! Started with Isabel in the office to the techs that showed up and took care of my electrical needs. They upgraded my service from 100A to 200A, swapped my panel from a 100A 20 breaker to a 200A 40 breaker panel, and put in a Tesla fast charger all in one work day. They price was impeccable and the clean up made it seem like they never where there. Highly recommend you call them and get the free whole house inspection they are offering. Thank you Penco!

    Vasili and his crew did an amazing job.     We were extremely happy and impressed in our dealings with Penco. Penco took care of all the details in preparation for the generator installation, getting the permit and contacting the gas company. Vasili and his team arrived on time with every thing they needed. The work was carried out efficiently. The crew was friendly, took the time to answer all our questions and explained their choices in running all piping. They even asked our opinion about what color paint we wanted. When they finished, they cleaned the area and then went through operation and maintenance requirements. Overall we were really happy with our decision to go with Penco.

    Absolutely AMAZING experience! From Paul coming out for a generator estimate (so knowledgeable and experienced) to scheduling the job (office is super easy to deal with) and the guys doing the install (they were fantastic)! City inspector came out for final inspection and said Penco does GREAT work!

    Wow! The Penco team did it all, including handling the permitting and village inspection!! They helped to get my mothers house ready to put on the market (which sold in just a few days, no doubt thanks to Pencos help with the electrical upgrades). After a thorough and valuable electrical safety inspection, Paul and Orlando helped me to identify upgrades that would add value for a new buyer. The key upgrades included a new ComEd service upgrade (from 60 amps to 200amps), new electrical panel, GFI outlets inside and outside, and lots of low profile LED lights that modernized the house. They also installed an EcoBee thermostat and replaced a door chime that wasnt working. The installation team was fantastic, especially Vasilli, who was the lead tech. The entire process was seamless and everyone on the team was friendly and professional. Thank you Penco!!

    Our experience with Penco was outstanding. Marion visited our home twice through the sales process; her communication skills and technical knowledge were top flight. On the day of install, Orlando, Vasili and the team came early, were extremely diligent and industrious but also interpersonally warm and friendly and really thoughtful about keeping an eye on all the new plants and flowers wed recently put in. Coincidentally, our locksmith also made a visit the same day and shared that Penco had installed his whole home generator 10 years prior. He spoke very highly of his decade long relationship with Penco and even recognized one of the technicians at our home that day from his own install 10 years ago! We highly recommend Penco.

    Friendly, professional, and high quality work. We had a complete service upgrade performed, from 100A service with an old 20-space panel to 200A with a 40-space panel and whole-house surge protector. Penco did an excellent job, especially George, who spent a lot of time getting everything done to a high standard with the new panel. There was an issue with the initial install not meeting ComEd requirements for the outside of the house, but that was quickly corrected at no charge, and Penco even returned one final time to clean up messy wiring that ComEd left behind. Thanks very much!

    Penco Electric has been servicing my generator for the past few years, and they have been great! So much so, I inquired about the installation of a 240 outlet for EV charging at home. Paul was very patient and kind with me. We discussed the location of where I wanted the outlet. Shared photos. He explained the details of what would be involved with the installation. Installation day: Jorge arrived! Within minutes I was at ease. He has a manner about him that is very calming. We discussed the plan, and began dismantling the wall. Jorge was able to make the new outlet appear as if it had always been there. He left no trace…above and beyond! There was nothing left for me to do.     Penco Electric & Generators was highly recommended to us as a provider of whole house backup generator systems for our residence and they far exceeded our expectations. Kathy Pasko (Office Manager) and Marion Ignoffo (Sales Executive) were great to work with. Marion visited our property and was very thorough in explaining how home backup generators work and how they are installed.Marion not only provided us with a lot of information she also asked various questions to be certain Pencos site plan and estimate would align with our needs and budget. The following day she provided us with a complete, detailed estimate that was extremely reasonable.Kathy facilitated the financials, ensuing work orders and the scheduling of our installation. Kathy shared updates with us as our installation day approached and immediately responded to additional questions we had.The installation technicians Edgar, Francisco, Vasilli and Jesus were GREAT just like Kathy and Marion. They arrived early and had morning talk show host energy from minute 1.Each introduced themselves and shared the site plan with me which was perfect. Following that they were like a SWAT team; they did not stop moving for the rest of the day.The team setup their tools, equipment and materials from the trucks in minutes and the installation was underway. They did an excellent job; the integration into the home utilities was neatly accomplished and our landscaping was undisturbed.Once the installation was complete we did a walk around and they conducted a power outage simulation test to verify the backup generator would activate which it did. The last step was Vasilli carefully went over the manual and paperwork with me.I checked the ground more closely after they left to see if any fittings, scrap metal or other material pieces were hidden in the grass for the lawn mower to potentially launch and there was zero debris.All of the Penco staff (Kathy, Marion, Edgar, Francisco, Vasilli and Jesus) were wonderful people to work with! We are pleased and very impressed by the customer experience we had with Penco Electric & Generators!

    I highly recommend Penco! Their electrician Tom K. was punctual, professional, clean-cut, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and patient. He took the time to explain what he was doing, helping put me at ease during a stressful situation. He also deserves to be recognized for properly wearing a mask (nose and mouth covered) and wearing it at all times. Any mess was minimal, which he promptly cleaned up.     Paul and his staff over at Penco are true professionals. The staff were quick to respond after losing power. At that point, we decided we needed a generator and Paul gave us a bunch of options and never felt pressured to buy anything that was not necessary.     We have used Penco in a few occasions (electric upgrade 110 to 220, panel upgrade and generator installation). Long story short, we had a Generac generator installed 4 years ago. During routine maintenance, there was a mistake made by the tech (simple error but still an error) which made the unit inoperative. What really impressed me were the first words out of the techs mouth when he came out to fix the problem this was my mistake. He showed me what happened. Not many people own up to their mistakes these days and this really impressed me. Ive been very happy with the service provided by this company!!! Penco Rocks!!! I Strongly Recommend this company!!!

We communicated well.When I asked him to come back out and when I called or texted, he had no problem.He made sure that my questions were answered clearly so I understand the job.On the day of the install, the team arrived around 9 am.There were two men to do the plumbing, Orlando, the lead tech, and Chris.And two to do the electrical, Edgar, the lead electrician and Isaiah.They took the time to explain the job before they began to make sure I understood.There was a question as to where to put the Generac box?Originally, the box was to be put in the basement along side the circuit breaker boxthat was because I hadnt decided to do the whole house.After I changed mind to do the whole housethe best place for the box was outside near the ComEd meter and the ground lines.But we had a problem. There was a gate in the way.Do I put it in the basement near the circuit breaker box?Or, do I remove the gate and put it outside?I decided to have them remove the gate.It looks clean and neat. The box is right next to the ComEd meter and the electricalgrounding lines and the generator is only a few feet away.After they started work, I went out for two hours.When I returned, Orlando had finished the plumbing part of the projectand they were just turning the power back on.Edgar still had a few more hours to go with the electrical.And the decision to put the box outside took two hours off the job.The team was professional and there was no mess.When the job was completed, Isaiah sat down with me to go over everything.A few days later we did have a problem, the generator wasnt exercising, I believe is the term they use for testing.It is set up to run once a week on Tuesday at 10 am but it didnt go on.They sent out a tech who said that the date was wrong.When it didnt go on the following week, Paul sent out a tech.When Jim, the tech, arrived, he put a tent up because of the rain and corrected the date.The generator is now exercising on Tuesday at 10:01 for six minutes.Good job.Thanks

We couldnt have asked for a better group of installers. They explained and did what needed to be done and made sure that everything done was up to code for future local inspection.     We had a generac generator installed after a few outage issues. The team at Penco was awesome from appointment set up to install to follow up and app install tutorial. We had heard good things about the company from others that have had work done and it was all legit. Despite having to do some drilling and running pipe thru the garage to the back yard where the generator was installed you would not have known they were here. The guys worked for more than 7 hours thru freezing cold and snow. They were polite and very professional the entire time. However the storms power surge blew a couple fuses and the control panel, which caused the generator to keep running after power was restored.
