This company does great work. Did not have any issues with them. Their quote were reasonable and communication was very responsive when i had questions or concerns. The workers that i had today were very honest. While working and running electrical wires, they found items hidden in the ceiling that i did not know were there. Instead of pocketing it, tbey immediately told me. I would highly recommend them.

Great experience! Ryan showed up with his assistant on time and they diagnosed the issue I had with my oven that caught fire. Turns out that it was an electrical defect with the unit itself. However, the house wiring wasnt up to code and it didnt have a proper receptacle so they rewired the range connection to the breaker box, installed a receptacle according to code and checked to make sure all the other kitchen receptacles where functioning properly. They were fast, efficient, really nice and they cleaned up after they were done! I had a great experience with Generate Electric and I highly recommend their services!

Extremely nice and professional. What I really liked was some of my issues were easily fixable by replacing the existing lightbulbs. They could have done that and charged us $250 or more and instead we were able to fix that ourselves by changing a lightbulb and they explained why and the difference in the bulbs. It cost us like $5. We also had them hang a new chandelier in our 25 or higher foyer and they took their time measuring everything out and ensuring they could do the job with their ladder as opposed to scaffolding which would have caused thousands. Again, not taking advantage of us, but working with us. I highly recommend them.

We had a heating emergency on a Friday night and Matt made an emergency call on a Saturday morning to make sure the electric was working properly when our furnace was malfunctioning. After trying for over a year to find a reliable electrician to install a standby generator at my house, a friend of mine recommended Generate Electric LLC. As I expected, my jurassic electrical panel had to be replaced also, but Generate gave me a great price on the job and explained exactly what had to be done and what it would cost. Given the previous higher estimates from other companies who failed to follow through with the work, I was very happy with Generates quote. Generate gave me a time and date for the work to be done, and they showed up exactly on time and went straight to work. The electrician was cheerful as he went about his job and he was well organized. The new electrical panel is a thing of beauty, and the generator wiring connection was professionally arranged for the easiest access. After the installation was complete, the electrician double checked that everything was connected to the correct breakers and he also carefully explained the workings of the new panel and generator hookup since it was much more advanced than my antique panel. Now, this is where most electricians wave goodbye and speed away, but much to my surprise the electrician then cleaned up the area and left it cleaner than it was before he arrived (!) This is something you just dont encounter anymore and it was a very pleasant surprise. I can heartily recommend Generate Electric - to the point that Ive deleted all of the previous no-show electricians from my contacts list. I prefer having just one go-to company for each service I need, whether it be plumbing, septic, home repairs, or whatever. Generate Electric is my one go-to company for anything electrical. A+++++

My husband and I purchased a log cabin as a ‘get-away’ place. We did not know the Blairstown area at all. The cabin needed some TLC and the electric heating system was first on the list. We reached out to a few plumbers and contractors through Google searches and was given Matt at Generate Electric as a referral. It has been an absolute pleasure doing business with him. Just to say again – it’s a log cabin. Logs, not drywall. He took a thorough look at what we had and immediately began thinking everything through. We worked with Matt on different replacement options. He offered us quite a few options and kept educating us along the way. When we finally decided on the replacement heaters and new electric outlets, he then had a tough time obtaining the color we wanted. (We did not want white heaters against log walls.) He persisted until he found what we wanted with just a few minor changes. Those minor changes were always discussed with us first. The new heaters and outlets were installed. The work was done cleanly, promptly, and pleasantly. The old wonky thermostat and 40-year-old heating system was removed and carted away by Matt as well. We are thrilled with our new electrical configuration. We have a few more projects to tackle and he will be our go-to guy. Don’t hesitate to call him.

Matt, John and Ryan are very personable, professional guys. They showed up on time and completed the work with care. We mounted heated towel racks and they offered advice on positioning of the rack and the new power points to make them best for looks and practical use. The towel rack packaging was missing an outlet cover piece and they creatively found a solution by custom making one. Very pleased with how everything turned out. Will most definitely be working with them in the future!

5 stars is not enough in my opinion! Maybe add 5 more! Matt has always been a pleasure to work with. From start to finish everything was done to perfection. Job came out even better than I had hoped for!I started out with an idea of what I wanted, talked it over with Matt who said my idea was not the best and gave me his honest/professional opinion on how the job should be done. We did it his way and I have ZERO regrets, for his way was the right way! I was in my kitchen when he turned on my new recessed lights in my living room that he just finished installing and my head almost came off my shoulders from shock. What a huge difference to finally have proper lighting and it looks amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you Matt!
