    I contacted Ralphies Electricians with a project to add two 240V outlets for an induction stove and new electric dryer. And to also add a level 2 EV charger. Wayne and Brad + crew were a pleasure to deal with. They arrived promptly for all the appointments and did great, clean, professional work. They were also really helpful in guiding me for steps needed to get the rebates available to me. It’s clear that they take a lot of pride in this family run business.     Ralphie’s Electric is a treat to do business with. It’s family owned and dealing with Wayne and Brad has been a breeze. They changed our service to 200A, readying for an EV Charger. Brad and Brendan did the work at our house on a day that there were 2 other contractors on site, it was crazy, but they did a great job, cleaned up, were very gentle with the landscape. They even zip-tied a bunch of overhead wires together that are always in the way of trucks.I highly recommend these folks!

    Called with a very time-sensitive problem. Our power had to be turned off to prevent an electrical fire. Ralphie’s fit us in the same day and fixed the electrical issue efficiently and safely.     Brad did a beautiful job installing a new dedicated line outlet in our bathroom. He located the exact spot from the long concrete crawl space underneath it. He and Brandon drilled through an unanticipated layer of concrete and Brad meticulously cut through a portion of a single tile so it looks perfect!

    Ralphies Electricians fulfilled my familys needs for installing a level 2 home EV charger in a multi-family condo, and the team carried out the task in an efficient, high quality, and professional manner. From the beginning through the end, Wayne was highly responsive to my questions (and I had many!), proactive about creatively brainstorming solutions given our situation (we have 100A service and were hesitant about upgrading our electrical service to 200A), and followed up beyond the installation to ensure we were satisfied. Prior to deciding on Ralphies for the EV charger installation, I had reached out to 3 other local electricians who have been around for 15+ years. Ralphies Electricians was able to set up an appointment within days, and their quote was the most reasonable and descriptive of the quotes I received. Wayne (who came out to our home) spent a good 30 mins laying out all the options. For context, we live in a multi-family condo in JP, our car is parked off street but in a more removed location from thje condo, and we only have 100A service (and a heat pump HVAC system) so we were worried about tripping the main circuit breaker. Wayne answered all my questions thoroughly, and demonstrated clear expertise of EV chargers (his background is electrical and mechanical engineering and it was revealing!). I appreciate how he took the time to explain how the installation could work, what the caveats might be for each option, and how to proceed with each option. He also walked me through how to get a rebate through Eversource for the installation (which we did receive!). When we received the quote, my husband and I were impressed by the level of detail contained. We both appreciated the transparency of the cost comparison analysis. When we had questions and wanted to set up a phone call, Wayne worked with our schedule and gave us our full attention during the call. His dedication is unparalleled. And all of this before we even committed to working with his company. In short, I am fully satisfied by the services his company provided us. While Ralphies Electricians may not have been around as long as other electricians in the Boston area (my initial hesitation when I reached out), their EV charger installation service is superb. I would recommend them to my friends and family: On time, responsive, dependable, meticulous work ethic, transparent, professional. Thank you, Wayne!

    Came home from ski vacation to find no heat and only some electric outlets/lights working. Wayne was at the house in less than an hour, diagnosed and clearly explained the issue.     Ralphie’s did a terrific job! Redoing a home office and needed new outlets installed. They responded to my request within two hours and even had someone in the area able to stop by to see what the job entailed.     Wayne at Ralphies Electricians was very responsive to our requirements. He came out to visit our site the day after we called and worked out the logistics of upgrading to 200A for our house. When we had an issue with the town inspectors, he was able to adjust his schedule and worked with the town to get everything done.     I’m a first time homeowner, and I didn’t know how circuit breakers worked. I was worried I was gonna have to pay a big electrical bill after a few of my plugs stopped working, but the electrician I called was able to tell me how to fix it over the phone, free of charge. The idea that I could’ve paid someone a bunch of money to come in and do something that took 30 seconds because I didn’t know what to do with It made me feel terrible, but this service puts a customer first for sure! When I do eventually break some thing that’s beyond my basic repairs, I’m definitely calling these guys

    5 stars for responsiveness and professionalism. I lost power overnight on a Friday, on Saturday morning I found my main breaker was sparking causing lights to flicker and would not hold power. Ralphie’s sent an electrician within 2 hours. We agreed on the issue and discussed whether or not to have the electrician return on Sunday or Monday considering the difference in cost and potential hazard. I requested Monday service, they were able to accommodate a Monday 7AM appointment. All estimates, invoices and receipts were communicated electronically. Very professional and personal service! I needed to replace all (10) of my smoke and carbon detectors, install new dimmers, and assess / fix some other lighting fixtures that were not working.     Ralphies Electrical is one of the few remaining companies that actually cares about its reputation and products. A father and son operated business that focuses on the customer, rather than their bottom line. When it came time to refinish a room in our basement i called their #, Wayne (the son) answered all my questions and assured me they would take care of everything. A few days later Brad (the dad) came to the house and immediately began working. His skill set is apparent right from the start. Hes been doing this work for over 30 years and is up to date on all current electrical requirements as well as being one of the most kindest humans Ive ever met. He is a genuinely nice man with a great personality and he cares about the quality of his work. He worked alongside the other contractors for our project as of they were a part of his organization and treated everyone he met with courtesy and respect. Brad made our experience a pleasant experience. Something i cant say about most contractors. The work was done without delay or complications and they were extremely patient while we waited some for the other contractors to finish their work so Brad could do the finishing work on his end. Their prices were very reasonable ( i received several quotes that were twice what Ralphies quoted me) I would hire Ralphies Electric again without hesitation and i wont even bother to look for another electrical company.
