We had a great experience with Lawrence in repairing window casings and shaving down some old deck screws in concrete. Lawrence was quick to respond and provide an estimate, his work was fantastic (you would never know part of the casing was replaced), he was friendly and communicative, and all done at a fair price. I recommend T.R.Z. Without any hesitation.

Lawrence finished off an installation for an old window casing into a revised window cut on the front of our house. Lawrence installed standing seam roof awning over my rear door. Lawrence formed and poured a foundation for an outdoor kitchen installation. Lawrence also assembled and trimmed out a fireplace mantel that involved tying in the hearth trim, the baseboards and shoe moulding along with centering and fastening the mantel over the fireplace. Each job was completed on time and with good attention to detail and finished appearance.

Lawrence is fantastic!Ive had a LOT of trouble with my house over the past couple years, including ongoing foundation issues that shifted the exterior doors so far out of whack that the front door wouldnt shut and the back door wouldnt open. And that was just one of the issues with the doors that led me to reach out for repairs.Lawrence (and his assistant, Spencer) totally rebuilt the door frames, reinforced the thresholds, replaced areas of rot, repaired and framed out the transom windows above the doors... they basically gave my exterior doors a full makeover, and the results have been nothing short of spectacular. Both exterior doors are solid as a rock and absolutely beautiful.The work was so well done that even as the foundation issues have persisted, and the building as a whole has continued to shift, the doors still function as perfectly as they did on day one.In addition to the work itself, I would be remiss if I didnt mention how easy Lawrence made it to handle the planning/scheduling portions of the process. He was quick to return calls, patiently explained what needed to be done and what my options were, provided the quote in a timely manner... Ill definitely be calling him again for future carpentry jobs.

TRZ Carpentry added custom built entertainment center, storage cabinets and album storage to our home recently. They helped flesh out our sketches and created a beautiful finished product that we are enjoying immensely. They were extremely professional every step of the way, and exceeded our expectations. Lawrence repaired a hole in my ceiling and replaced nearly all the windowsills in my home. He was prompt and thorough. The windowsills look great and no one can tell there was ever a hole in the ceiling. He charged a reasonable rate as well. Ill definitely call Lawrence the next time I need carpentry work done on my home.

Lawrence was who I worked with on my shelving project. I figured my job might have been too small and I did not expect much customer service. However, Lawrence went above and beyond and keeping me informed on the quoting process, and throughout the purchasing of materials, through to completing the job. He was able to fit my job in between a couple of his larger scheduled jobs, which really helped out.He gave me receipts for everything purchased, and his pricing was very competitive. I will be calling him again next time I have another project.

I have known Lawrence Trunk for many years. I have seen some of his work, so it was a no brainer for me to use him on an antique table re-finish. His attention to details and quick turnaround were unmatched. I really love the job he did and would recommend him to anyone. As I said above, I have seen other larger projects he has done, and I have always been impressed with his work. I am glad he finally started his own company and will refer clients to him when I come across them.

I have known Lawrence for a while and I needed someone to fix some Ida-related damage to the house. Everything was taken care of and it just looks like nothing ever happened. Lawrence followed up many of times, gave me updates, was flexible around my schedule, and just managed the whole project professionally. Would go back in a heartback for the next job I need!

Lawrence did some very technical general carpentry with framing and installing of high end windows three stories high on a very steep roof. He was thorough, safe and did a phenomenal job. This carpentry work was the skill level of a finished carpenter that can handle any job large and small.We will use he and his crew again!

I first called TRZ after Ida when I had a previous issue I could not get fixed. It was a small issue but important since it left my roof open. Lawerance did me right, was one of the few that showed up and fixed it for a reasonable price.When he was done we talked about repurposing a deck I had in my backyard to make it more functional. He was happy to do it and it came out ahead of schedule and it was really awesome.Every time I walk out on it I am happy and we finally have a functional backyard that we wanted for years.There are a lot of good carpenters out there but few that are great and Lawerance and his team are great. We had a plan and when there were issues he thought on his feet and we went through them and I think it came out better with the changes than originally expected.Thank you guys, you have given out family something we can enjoy for many years to come.

Lawrence renovated my 105 year old home from foundation to roof. We kept the old world charm but added some modern finishes to the project. Due to the age of the home, Lawrence was able to address the challenges through his ability, knowledge and workmanship. The home is a show piece and I am reminded of Lawrences talents everytime a guest visits for the first time.
