I had a great experience with One Man And A Toolbox. They were quick to respond to my request for a quote and Barry worked with me to find the best date for work to begin. After speaking with Barry, it was immediately apparent that he is proud of the work they do and backs it up 100%. I had several small projects that included painting and some carpentry. Barry and Marin did a fantastic job in a timely manner. Marin was very meticulous with his painting and Barry was able to build out exactly what I asked for. All in all, I 100% recommend and will be calling them for any future handyman needs.

Great job again by the professionals that work for One Man and a Toolbox. Needed to have a new heavy vanity installed and the old one taken out. So the job involved several different skills required, including plumbing. Rafael did a great job. He arrived on time, did a fantastic job, and checked the plumbing out many times. He tested everything to make sure it worked properly. He instructed me on some things I could do to make my plumbing run more efficiently. Who knew you needed to unscrew the faucet aerator and tap out the particles? The quality of the crews that always come out to do work are superior. Its one of the reasons that I call them time and time again.

Theyve also rebuilt a fence, made some post-hurricane repairs, and installed a new door. Theyve always been prompt and efficient, their estimates are detailed, and they have been good at communicating any issues, problems, or delays that might occur. I recently utilized One Man and a Tool Boxs services to perform renovations on my new home. To say John and his team did a great job is an understatement. It is unusual to see such professionalism from your traditional contractor. John had inspected the entire project to make sure they reached his standards… down to the last screw! Last, but not least, I really appreciated how hard One Man and a Tool Box worked on having the job completed within my budget. Ive used OMATB multiple times. Love this team. When I first moved to NOLA a year, I had an emergency with a door handle that broke. Jacob came out that same day and fixed it for free (thankfully, it was a small task). Since then, Ive called them for multiple other repairs. Buying an old house means I have far too much delayed maintenance to take care of, and Ive been able to count on then to do everything I needed, from patching holes in eaves, to repairing drywall, to installing new attic steps. Theyre the literal definition of handymen!

In what can be a difficult field to find trust worthy vendors, this company consistently over delivers. The staff are all well qualified. In fact theyre over qualified since most them have over 15 years experience in the industry. They show up on time, on the day they say, and do it all at a more than fair price. Kelley and John in the office are very responsive and couldnt be better to deal with. Im not sure what else I could ask for. I highly recommend them.

After talking to John on the phone and telling him that my tenants were having trouble with the washer and dryer (and that I was out of town), he immediately offered to call my tenants and work with them directly to go to the house and assess any repairs needed. He took all of the hassle out of it for me! Both he and Kelly called me to update when they left messages for the tenant to keep me in the loop. John was able to meet with the tenants the next day and found that the problem was very basic and did not really require any repairs. The gas was turned off from the dryer and the washer was just not being operated properly. He took the time to adjust the dryer connection and educate the tenant on how the washer is designed to work since it was different than the new tenant was familiar with. John called me to let me know all was resolved. After asking how much I owed him, I was surprised and thrilled to hear him tell me that he was NOT charging me for anything! John and his team were awesome to deal with and I will absolutely call on him again when needed. I highly recommend their handyman services. It is not often anyone can claim such a GREAT experience with any service provider. I appreciate John and his professionalism!

I have used One Man and a Toolbox several times and have been extremely pleased each time. They have repaired my deck boards which were falling in, repaired and hung new dry wall on a wall behind my bar, hung a couple of pieces of artwork on the brick wall of my front porch, installed brackets for some shelves and mounted wireless security cameras.The pricing is very reasonable - the workers have been nothing but pleasant, polite and always arrive on time. They will pick up and carry off any debris they created. My latest worker was a young man named Cody, who was an absolute delight. My big old beagle dog loved him as well.Thanks One Man And A Toolbox!!!
