Woke up to no heat on Sunday morning and was referred by my friend Steve J to call Liam Services. Tim came out at about 11 am and within 30 seconds found the problem and had to order the part. The next day I called and Stephanie answered and told me they ordered the part and soon as it came in they would be out. At about 2:45 pm Tim called said he was on the way, by 3:30 pm we had heat. Tim was very knowledgeable, great personality and a pleasure to deal with. He also had his apprentice Nate with him who was learning the ropes and with Tim’s training I am sure will be a star employee also. Keep up the good work and again thank you so much for the speedy service.

We found Liam Services through a google search. They definitely hold up to their excellent reviews. We had them come out for a free estimate for a heating vent issue. Tim the HVAC expert came to our house. Tim was very personable and knowledgeable. He went over a few thing that they can do to help the problem .He gave suggestions, but was not pushy. We scheduled and appointment to have our air ducks cleaned . Tim went above and beyond and made a phone call to the office to try and schedule us an appointment to work around our schedule, and he was able to do so. Tim we appreciate all the info you gave us and the time you spent going over options. We look forward to working with Liam Services in December.

He indicated it was probably a bad remote, went to Lowe’s and bought a new one, returned and installed it and was still done in 40 minutes. So pleased!! Hired a handyman to install a ceiling fan. He ended up blowing the light and refrigerator outlets. I called LIAM Services on Monday and Brian showed up ON TIME, on Tuesday. Brian is professional, knowledgeable and super nice. He had everything running smoothly in 10 minutes!! Needless to say, I’ve booked Brian to repair all of our electrical issues and will be setting up for HVAC consultation. Call LIAM Services if you want it done right!!Updated 10/06/23:Brian and Timmy came back out and installed outlets in our family room, added dimmers throughout the home, fixed the attic fan and remounted the ceiling fan. They were quick & efficient and I’m so happy with the work.Tim for HVAC came out today. Again, Tim is professional, very nice, and knows his job. Those 21 years of experience show! Our home is a rehabbed house and a lot of things were done improperly. Tim repaired an air duct to the family room. Taking it a step above, he also redid the step that the air duct was hidden behind, AND better than the original! All this done in about an hour. I am so please with LIAM Services and I love all the guys that came out. They treated my home as if it was theirs, even cleaning up behind themselves. Tim from the New Castle office has been out of this world over the years. Over the years, he has guided my elderly mother through everything from annual checkups to full HVAC installations with ease and understanding. He. Is always courteous and kind, he isnt out to rip anyone off. He is honest and caring, makes sure she understands exactly what is needed and why, goes over terms and service contracts as needed. My parents have had Tim as their service person through home changes, changes in companies, and even deaths. My mother and father both had recommended Li am Services to many friends and family members and all have been satisfied.

So glad I called Liam Services. Justin Montgomery was running early and called to see if it was ok to come sooner. It was. He gave me an estimate, advised me on future work that will be needed (my house was built in 1935) and did a great job of fixing and replacing what needed fixing and replacing. Pricing was affordable too. I didn’t feel like I was having the wool pulled over my eyes and really appreciated that. Liam’s and Justin just gained a customer. Good, prompt customer service means so much to me and my family. Tim and Jenna said they would be there right around 8 am to fix my dryer that was not quite drying, and they were. Great service today from Kemmar H. at Liam Services. He went above and beyond to make sure my cooling system was properly maintained. He punctual, personable and was very professional about the whole process. He took his time explaining the process and answering any questions I had. I had ventilation issues with my dryer, he stayed a few minutes to look at the issue and reattached the dryer pipe. He’s skilled, and I will recommend him, and Liam Services for any future jobs!

Excellent service and technicians! I have used LIAM for electrician services, and HVAC as well. The electricians Loy and Justin were both fantastic! And the HVAC technician Carson (and apprentice Jenna) was fantastic as well. They have been able to get someone to my home promptly, and the communication is excellent. They let you know up front what the charges will be, and let you decide how you wish to proceed with out pressure. I would highly recommend them for their service and professionalism.

Tim came out to clean out our laundry vent for us, as its a somewhat complicated duct. He was friendly and quick, took time to look at and evaluate everything before starting. He wore covers on his shoes to protect the floor, which was nice of him. He did more than one pass at the ducts to ensure they were clean as he was concerned the lint was crusted inside the duct. He cleaned up thoroughly, even dust/debris that wasnt from the job.Ive used Liam services before for electrical work and will continue using them as theyre consistently punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and offer great service. Definitely recommend LIAM services, and Tim Newcomb specifically.

Those guys were amazing as they were so focused...determined to problem solve their way to the answer. Great team work! Michael continued from his 1st visit and never let up. Their electrician Loy McCarl as well as his team, and the air conditioning technician Devon Shoop and his team did a great job, and were professional and on time. I can not say enough great things about Liam Services! We encountered an issue with our AC unit during Memorial Day weekend and Liam Service came highly recommended. Within 2 hours of putting in a call, Carson was dispatched to our residence. He arrived exactly when we were quoted for time frame. Needed an emergency service on our hot water heater. Tim arrived promptly on Monday and after a quick diagnosis we received a repair quote as well as a replacement quote. Opting for the replacement, Tim and Jared (sp) arrived Tuesday morning and installed a new gas hot water heater. Flawless install and a great walk through with instructions. Tim answered all our questions and went through the entire process. They were finished within 3 hours!They were very quiet while working and they even mopped the floor when the service was completed!! Excellent service all the way around. We felt the quote was very fair and there was no real waiting for parts. Everything was in stock. They handled all of the paperwork which we really appreciated.We highly recommend this company and their employees.

I called late in the afternoon desperate to have the problem fixed ASAP as my wife and I work from home often. LIAM sent over Mike W after hours and discover the culprit that I would have never guessed, and now we are back in business! Extremely grateful with the response time and Mike’s expertise!

Tim N and Justin M were fantastic. Justin installed our smoke detectors I had bought as well as checking our electric box and updating that. Tim inspected our furnace, installed our filter and gave us a better option to replace it. Unfortunately we have some issues with the furnace, but Tim explained everything, gave us options, helped us through financing, etc. Everyone was so down to earth which made even the bad news a great experience.ADDITIONAL REVIEWWe had Devon, Doug, Jeff, and Andrew come out to install our furnace (sorry this is a late review). They were terrific! I felt bad because the furnace was in such a tight spot and was difficult to remove. On top of that, my at home office was right next to it, so they also tried to keep the noise down as well. But they were all great.We also had Carlson Simpson come in on Monday to look at our AC.Everyone we have had to help us have been excellent, very good natured. They talked and joked with us like we were friends.

Weve used Liam for a few years now. We use them on larger jobs because we know we can be confident in the quality. Most recently we got a mini-split installed, and although there was some miscommunication around the placement of the exterior unit, Doug and Devon moved it without issue. They were both very friendly, and Doug walked me through the ins and outs of my homes ductwork to help me decide how to get more air flow to one of the upstairs rooms. We are getting to know quite a few of Liams technicians over time, and its nice to see familiar faces every year (though maybe less nice for my wallet). Weve also had Loy out for electrical consults and work a couple of times, and he is also very friendly and helpful. Their central office makes scheduling consults and work easy, and turnaround time on jobs is quick and efficient.

The power surges in our neighborhood blew our surge protectors in the circuit box, and with same day service, Jeff was able to come out and fix us up in no time. This is especially great because...another storm coming in 2 days!On top of that, our electric meter blew up outside the house. When Delmarva replaced the meter today, they accidentally yanked the anchors from the meter box off the wall. Unrelated to the call, Jeff still took a look and fixed me up temporarily until they can come back with the right stuff to get a permanent fix. Before leaving, he even asked for *anything else* that needed checked out. If thats not A+ service, I dont know what is.Great service. Great rates. I am glad we had Tim stop by to assess the issue and it was ultimately found that no major repair was needed (unlike some other HVAC companies that often say there is an issue but really isnt). Tim helped us save money on this one and even gave us tips on what to do going forward. The issue in particular in case anyone else ever runs into the same thing was related to the pipes likely freezing, in which case based on Tims advice, is to first turn off the system, take out the filter and then restart the system. On the scheduled day, Tim Newcomb called ahead to let me know he was on the way. Tim explained everything he was going to do. He also asked about AC inspections. We set up an appointment for the dryer and also the AC cleaning. Tim is very knowledgeable, professional, and explains everything before he starts. Loy and Tim were absolutely fantastic. They came in for an estimate and addressed all our concerns on the spot with detailed information. We used another electric company before that had such difficulty with our hallway lights and completely removed a switch. After such great customer service and workmanship on the original outlet issue we called for, we decided to move forward with replacing the hallway lights. Thankfully they had room on the schedule and were able to get the new recessed hallway lights completed and switch that was removed back in place with any issues. This is my 2nd time using LIAM and both experiences have exceeded expectations. You will not find many service companies with a 5 star rating and this many reviews. I was actually surprised, but they live up to it!

The team of Tim and Laura came out today for a scheduled service to clean our entire duck system. I was impressed as usual with Tims knowledge of the job and his equipment which was to date as technical as I have seen. Tim explained the procedure and he and Laura went to work educating me along the way with ways to conserver with safety in mind. I highly recommend this company. I called for a panel upgrade, outlet testing/replacement, smoke detector wire installation, and to make sure everything was grounded. I thought the prices were great. Brandon was very punctual, knowledgeable and kind. He really takes pride in his work. This was a great experience and I learned a lot. I will be calling for further projects to upgrade my house!Update: I called again and scheduled an appointment to have my dryer vent rerouted and cleaned. I was initially looking to get my air ducts cleaned sinced I just purchased my first home. luckily Tim came because he noticed immediately that my hot water heater was leaking and was able to come up with a plan of action. He repaired my water heater and also educated me on different components I needed to pay attention to for my water heater and HVAC system. I will continue to use Liam services as home needs arise.

He also installed 2 lights in our garage, an outlet outside, and installed outlets for our garage door openers (no more extension cords in the garage). Dan is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They were very courteous, professional, and tidy with everything they did. Upon completion of these jobs, we are already setting up our next job with Dan. We are waiting on the results of our new estimate and will be booking with Liam Services within the next 10 days. I have multiple things I wanted done starting with 2 replacement light fixtures and a bathroom exhaust fan (that wasnt done right by the last contractor and vents into my attic). Justin took the time to explain everything clearly and did not hard sell me. I am a single mom and have had some not so pleasant experiences with some contractors. I feel very confident with having them do the work and the price that was quoted. I am definitely going to use LIAM and have Justin come do the work in December!! The HVAC guys did an amazing job installing two mini split systems for us. They were professional, friendly, and didnt mind a very curious toddler asking them a million questions. They were on time, got the job done in a day and a half, and were very careful to clean up and make sure that the areas where they were working were safe for my toddler and cats when they left.They were able to get someone out for a quote within a day or two of our request, got a quote back to us very quickly, and were able to start the job much sooner than the other companies we received quotes from.
