Generator Pro came through for us when we were truly ready to give up. Doug and his crew cleaned up a partial whole house generator installation by another dealer that started out good, but ended up a complete nightmare that lasted almost a year. It started with a great discussion with Michelle over the phone explaining the situation, followed by Doug coming out to do the walk through and estimate. We knew then we were making the right choice to have Generator Pro finish the work. We are very appreciative they were willing to take this job on and finish it out. The installation came out superb and everyone involved in the process along the way was very professional and patient with us. Generator Pro if New Hampshire is a legitimate company. I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with them for over a year. Doug is a top notch owner with experienced and professional staff. Griffin came to the house today to perform annual preventative maintenance on my generator. He went above and beyond and beyond today. My WiFi connection had been disrupted due to a change in router. He stayed longer than anticipated to finally get my generator reconnected to WiFi. Job well done Griffin! Thank you!

After seeing other online reviews for Generator Pro, I gave them a call. I needed a 5 year old 9KW Generac propane generator serviced (routine preventative maintenance). I called the office on a Tuesday in mid September and spoke with Keisha who could not be more pleasant and accommodating. She was truly happy for my business and fully explained what to expect with regard to time, scope of service and anticipated cost. They were able to schedule me for a Thursday time slot of the same week. Kyle was the technician who arrived right on time (I was given a 2 hour possible window and he arrived after about 20 minutes). He got straight to work and allowed me to watch and ask questions, ostensibly so I might be able to do quick troubleshooting myself in the event of a problem). He answered every question and explained the work he was doing. The battery that starts the generator was marginal after about 5 years and he gave me the option to replace if I wished. Batteries have gone up in price recently due to supply chain challenges and I opted to have him install a replacement (which he had with him), rather than having to deal with a problem mid winter. After the quick service was completed, he did a quick test of the auto transfer switch by turning off the house power briefly. The generator started quickly and without hesitation. I am now good for another year and will definitely contact Generator Pro again for any service needs.

Friendly, professional, knowledgeable. Generator Pro made me an appointment quickly, for a tune up service on my Generac. They were friendly and clear about price and expectations. Kyle, the technician that came out, was very knowledgeable and took time to explain things. Michelle in the office was great with scheduling and post-appointment follow up.For what was needed, the service wasnt cheap, but no home services are these days and its hard to put a price on quality service in a timely manner. Its a rare thing in southern NH to get an appointment in a few days, plus competent service. I knew the price going in (they were up front) and I would pay it again to keep working with Generator Pro. I know Im not alone in being sour on home services companies, and Generator Pro definitely stood out in a good way.

I got several quotes for a generator. and an electrical panel upgrade All were around the same price, but when Doug was checking out the house to prepare the quote he noticed a gas smell and spent a good bit of time looking for the leak. I figured that if someone spent that much effort for something that wasnt his issue and for someone who wasnt a customer that that was a very good sign, so I took the Generator Pro quote. They were great through the whole process. They kept me informed of what the steps would be and how long to expect things to take (generators were on back order, so it took several months to arrive). The crews were friendly and professional. The quality of work was excellent. I was very happy with the install, although a little on the fence about spending so much on a gas line connected, auto-start generator. Then, about 3 weeks after the install was complete we lost power in my neighborhood. The lights went out briefly; the generator came on and we were back to normal throughout the outage (which lasted several hours). It was fantastic, and I couldnt be happier with the generator.Overall I recommend a whole house auto-start generator. If you are going to get one then Generator Pro is the company to do it. They are reliable, helpful and did a great job for me.

Moved into my house September 2021 and the whole house generator has never worked. Called Generator Pro and they were eager to come out and fix my generator. After replacing the battery, the battery charger, and doing a full service, the generator was up and running.Today we got over 6 inches of snow and the entire neighborhood has no power and no lights on. In October of 2017 I had a Kohler whole house generator installed by Generator Pro and I could not have been more impressed. Doug and his whole staff and crew did a great job - from the phone call inquiring about a generator to the installation. Prompt, professional, knowledgeable, neat - every step of the way was great. I’ve had three other technicians work on my generator over 15 months time. Each charged me A LOT of money, but could never seem to get it running efficiently, to the point where I decided to replace it rather than keep dumping money into in. In my search to replace it, I came across Generator Pro. Faith is restored. Very professional, courteous, thorough, and reasonable. It turned out my generator only needed a valve adjustment and a quart of oil (which I paid two other techs for in under a year). Generator pro is now my “go to” and I would recommend them to my own mom without reservation!

Great experience. Doug came out I liked the options he gave me and went with a portable generator. Ive used it about 30-40 hours so far with no issue. Ill definitely have him come back at some point and do a on demand one. If I had the cash in Oct 2016 I would of done it then I guess. Ive also recommended him to a few people.

For the most part the install went smoothly and everyone was helpful and friendly. Michelle and Doug are especially wonderful. The reason for only 4 starts instead of 5 is that there was a lot of miscommunication about the electrical install.First, I was given the impression that it would be about half a day...turns out its basically 2 full days.Second, the guy who came to do the work was new. I have no problem with that, however, he was clearly even more confused than I was. He shouldve had someone more experienced with him to make sure things went smoothly. Also, he seemed to communicated mostly with grunts, which I wasnt sure how to interpret. All in all, it made the 2 days he was here doing the electrical stuff very stressful.Aside from that, it was great and I still highly recommend them.

I have a Kohler 20KW propane-fired standby generator that I bought and had installed a year ago by a really crappy company (see my 1-star review of Manchester Electric). It has never run well, and now a year in I finally found out why. I hired Generator Pro to do my first annual PM and to do some diagnostics to see why it runs so rough, both unloaded and under full house load. The electrician, Owen, found the problem in less than two minutes - the Manchester guys never removed the timing adjustment wires that have to be disconnected as the final step in converting from Natural Gas to Propane, so the ignition timing was never correct. He pulled the wires, did the PM, and started it up - BAM, runs like a purring cat now! Im sold on these guys - theyre professional, competent, and willing to help. They will be doing my annual PMs from now on, and any other service Ill be needing on this machine.

I represent the Board of Directors for a 55+ community. We have a community bulking that could serve our homeowners in the event of a power outage. We solicited pricing from several local specialty contractors. Two had pricing almost identical, and in the range we were expecting.Doug of GeneratorPro was the most engaging and forthcoming individual and presented a number of issues that we were confident with his organization.This took place in early November 2019. Once a decision was made our concern was being able to complete the installation rapidly, and be available for this winter season. A first concern was excavation for wiring and fuel lines, plus casting the concrete foundation. GneratorPro shuffled schedules around and was able to complete this work within days, before the ground was frozen. Once the generator was shipped, the installation was completed quickly, and a comprehensive startup instruction was provided by Doug.. Throughout the process the office staff was great in keeping us up to speed on changes, weather impacts etc. Everyone on the installation staff was knowledgeable and confident, and completed work efficiently and with no negative concerns.All in all the process was excellent and smooth. We look forward to continuing the relationship with Generator Pro for our annual maintenance.

My 10kw has been a problem since the day it was badly installed by another company (NOT Generator Pro). 3 other places tried to fix it, all failed. Generator Pro came out, and in an afternoon had everything diagnosed, ordered the part, and installed it. Its now running perfectly after 6 years of real issues. I finally have the generator I paid for. Reasonable rates, HIGHLY knowledgeable staff, easy to deal with front office. I couldnt ask for anything more from a service company. I wont ever let anyone else touch my generator.
