During a Sunday snow storm, telephone pole was taken down by a car accident and power cables were pulled off our Insurance Agency, Atlantic Insurance & Benefit Company on Main St.Bill Gagnon picked up the phone when we called at 4 PM on Sunday (who does that?) and he and Shawn worked with Eversource to have our power back on by Monday morning. Big job, new mast, new hookups for 3 units. AMAZING, fast, professional. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Thank you so much. Recommended.

My wife and I just recently bought our first house and needed some electrical work taken care of. We hired Gagnons Electrical Services for the job based on all the great reviews weve read. We needed to replace our panel, a handful of outlets and a few other miscellaneous things throughout the house. Gagnons Electrical Services couldnt have made our experience any better. They put our minds at ease knowing that things are safe and have been taken care of properly. I highly recommend them for any of your home electrical work that you may need. He and his co-worker Shawn arrived promptly at 7:15 am and installed ceiling fan, a difficult bathroom fan and 4 light fixtures with a few hours at a reasonable price. As new residents to Nashua we had to look around a lot for an electrician! We are so happy to find bill and his son. I read some of these reviews prior about him being unfriendly and I’m honestly shocked. He was nothing but kind… and really funny.Before leaving he checked in with my fiancé and made sure to ask if he liked the work they did and to be honest if he didn’t so he could fix it! He was extremely communicative and easy to work with. We truly appreciated it and loved the outcome! Absolutely gorgeous!We both rarely write reviews, but bill and his son were definitely worth it! After trying to troubleshoot a problem for almost 2 days at my brother in law’s mobile home, I thought I needed an electrician. I tried calling 3 other companies and there wait time for an appointment was 2 weeks out! I had no dryer, no refrigerator, no microwave. I fortunately called Bill Gagnon, he answered himself and was at the house within 3 hours. It took him about 30 minutes to diagnose the problem, fix it and charge me a moderate fee. He was soooo helpful with a situation that was very stressful. I would 100% recommend his service!!! Thank you so much Bill.

Very good experience with Gagnon Electric! The quote was reasonable (given pandemic pricing) for installing a Tesla charging port in our garage. Cleaned up afterwards, you would never know they were well. Stuck to the quote and was able to schedule us in very quickly. We will definitely use them again for future projects.

I had an emergency situation where the lights in my office suddenly went out. I had an extremely important zoom meeting set up 3 hours later which obviously required the room to be lit.Gagnon shifted their schedule to accommodate me and was there within 90 minutes. Had it all fixed within 30.They were quick, courteous, and professional. For these reasons I will always now recommend them when asked.

Bill is the absolute BEST! Called him on an afternoon and he was out here the next morning which, these days, is amazing in itself. Had a GFI panel breaker issue which he checked out thoroughly, looking at other lines around the house to ensure it was just the single line. Solved the problem and we were all set in under an hour. Do not hesitate to call Gagnon.

After I got power restored after a day and a half off a generator and went to turn on the main. The main breaker brokeI was panicked as I was leaving fir a 2 week trip the next morning and couldn’t leave the generator running in an empty house till my house sitter got there the following afternoon.

I called Gagnon’s on a long shot to see if he would even service the area. I explained the situation and he came out THAT afternoon! He fixed the issues and made sure there wasn’t anything else before he left. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. I can’t thank him enough!

A decent contractor is hard to find, but Gagnon came through. They responded quickly, gave a fair estimate, then showed up when they said they would to complete the job on time and on budget. It was clear this family run business isn’t preoccupied with finding “the big job” and was happy to be focused on doing the job at hand right and with attention to detail. As a home owner in Nashua I highly recommend them and plan to hire them for any future electric work.

Gagnon was able to come and look at an issue we were having faster than anyone we called. He sent out one of his guys to check on issue, he was very friendly and explained everything. He thought we would need to replace our whole circuit breaker. Whoch would have cost us a ton.Bill came over a week or so after to do the job. Instead of following through with his guys prognosis, he told me there really isnt any damage or need to replace. He offered to clean up the box and fix a few things for basically nothing! Real standup guy! Could have taken advantage of someone who knows nothing about electrical. But he DIDNT. I would recommend Gagnon to anyone with any electrical issues!

Where can I start, a few weeks ago we lost power at our 5 unit private condo association on a Saturday.....of course. After a visit from a local electrician, we determined it was some bad fuses in our very old main breaker outside. To no fault of the first guy, he could not get the parts until Monday because no electric supply shop was open. That’s when I made the best decision to call Gagnon Electric. After giving him the fuse information that we needed provided by the first electrician, Bill senior was able to call a supplier to open to get us the parts we needed and able to come right over to put them in and get us up. I wish could say that was the end of the story but sadly, due to the age of our electric stack it was not. While there, Bill stressed the poor shape of our whole stack using phrases like “borrowed time” and “real bad shape of it were to go completely“. He did this with a friendly disposition all while stressing the urgency of the situation and I felt no pressure from him at all. I thought we’d have some time to weigh our options but I received a call from bill a couple days later reiterating his obvious valid concern of the state of our electric panel. We don’t have a lot of money in our association and he very reasonably offered payment options for us. Ultimately I could have gone and looked at other quotes and options, but given his years of experience and straight shooting, and my basic understanding of the technical aspect, we decided to go with Gagnon for the work. From there bill went to bat for us with the electric company as they were trying to have us take on an unreasonable amount of additional work that we could not afford due to their “change in standards and requirements”. After a couple weeks of seemingly insufferable back and forth with the electric company (and a few threats of going to the PCU), Bill was able to get them to cooperate and agree to a reasonable solution. From there it was scheduling a date which occurred as planned with no delay and a timeframe of when we’d be out of power for on that day which also couldn’t have been more spot on. Although the work was extremely difficult and challenging (even the electric inspector asked him why he took on something so difficult) bill was able to complete this making it seem like just another day in the office. I can not express how highly I recommend Gagnon electric and I will use them again and continue to recommend them from here on out.

My Daughter shorted out one of our outlets in her bedroom, I couldnt seem to figure out which circuit breaker was the issue. I called Gagnon Electric around noon on a Saturday, Bill answered and said he could be onsite in half an hour. He was right on time. He quickly found the issue and fixed it within 10 minutes. While he was here I asked if he could help with a few lighting switch problems we were having with 3 way and 4 way switches. Again he was able to figure out the wiring Issue and had us all wired correctly. Considering it was a weekend and short notice his pricing was exceptionally reasonable. Called up Bill late in the evening for an issue and he responded right away, which was great. He agreed to come very early in the morning to fix the faulty main circuit breaker. He picked up the parts at like 5 am and came to my house to fix the problem. He was very accommodating. His charges were very very reasonable, even though I did not ask him for the cost of the job upfront. He fixed the problem quickly and professionally. I am so glad I got to know him. Now I have a permanent contact for a master electrician.

I called Bill with an emergency repair in my HVAC unit. He informed me that hed be over in an hour. He showed up with Sean, and within 5-10 min the problem was diagnosed and on its way to being solved. Because of Bill and his team at Gagnons, my family has heat again, on a day that the high temp was 5 deg F! Bill is now definitely my go to electrician for everything. Hes a plain spoken master electrician whos honesty is notable. Im happy tp have met him and the team. Ill be calling him this spring for some waiting projects!

The office electrical panel was sparking and smoking and I had to call 911. After it was assessed and the firefighter were able to shut off power, I was told to call an electrician. The department could not recommend a company by law but once I mentioned “Bill Gagnon” I was told by the fire fighters that they can’t recommend but could only say that I make a great choice using Gagnon. Gagnon came out within 15 minutes of my call and put his dinner and family time on hold to help a business in need. Eversource pulled the meter which created an additional obstacle but Bill Gagnon remained professional, confident and reliable through the entire process. He was out first thing the next morning with his son, also a licensed electrician. And the two of them spent a good 4 hours installing a new panel, Pulled a permit and assisted not only with the eversource work order but also gave us some much needed guidance in how the insurance claim process would work. Our business was able to be up and running within 24 hours of this unfortunate event and I know it wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the professional folks at Gagnon Electric led by Mr. Bill Gagnon. I recently had a pool installed last week and Bill and his son Shawn did the electrical work. I had contacted Bill a couple of months ago after I knew my pool install date. Bill came out to the house twice and I had several phone conversations with him over that time. He was helpful and knowledgeable and always made time for us. They day of the job, Bill and Shawn showed up on time and went right to work. They explained what was being done and walked us through the entire process. We were extremely pleased with the work done, and our pool is up and running. Bill then returned 2 days later to meet with us and the inspector. Everything went well and the job was well done. Bill was great to work with and we would recommend Gagnon Electrical in the future.

I called because our electric heat was not working, and its only 5 degrees out. We tried replacing the thermostat and the baseboard, but it still wasnt working. Bill gave me an estimated arrival and came straight over. He found the issue was a wire, replaced the wire, and got the heat working within an hour. Amazing!

These guys are awesome! I had an issue with no power to any of my kitchen lights for a one-month period that Bill and team his easily fixed. They were very pleasant, extremely competent and professional. I initially thought that the problem was a burnt out wire within the walls that would require the walls to be torn up but Bill applied logical trouble methods and was able to identify/fix the problem with no intrusion. They even carved time out of their busy schedule to accommodate my no-notice request to install an additional electrical outlet. An overall, great value for your money--definitely recommend! P.S. I had never met Bill, any of his crew or done business with Gagnons Electrical Service prior to this transaction.

I originally called Gagnon because they had the most positive reviews. I asked for them to look at our GFI turns out that the wiring was completely wrong he was able to come back relatively soon complete the job in one day and come in under bid. Bill seems like a very trustworthy man, I didn’t even get a second opinion. I would use again.

The first job I had them perform was an emergency service. Bill showed up within a few hours, corrected the problem and advised me of a problem with my service panel. We were so pleased with the first repair that we scheduled them to replace our service panel. Bill and Sean showed up as scheduled and charged exactly as quoted. The only drawback was we couldnt earn miles since they dont accept credit cards.Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

I had to have some intricate electrical work done in my home. I contacted Gagnons Electrical and spoke with Bill Gagnon. He came over that day, gave me a price, and a date when he could start and complete the work.He took care of all the legal permit requirements as well. This morning they showed up as promised, and in a few hours had all the work done, and cleaned up every piece of work related debris to a point where it looked better than when they first started. Everything works perfectly now and I am more than pleased with the end result. I would definitely use them again.
