The company keeps changing its name and increasing its prices! I’ve been a customer for over 20 years. The service was good in the beginning but over past the 5 years the service has declined. However, I’ve stayed with them because I’m loyal. Recently I called for service and was happy the representative did not have a foreign accent and seemed knowledgeable. The provider was prompt and my issue was fixed. Keeping my fingers crossed for continue good service. I wish the prices were more affordable.

So I went through a two-year period where I was pretty dissatisfied with these guys. Id call in April to schedule a preventative maintenance visit, theyd schedule the visit for June. Given that I like to have everything cleaned and in shape before I fire up the AC/heater for the year, that was pretty unacceptable.I called this year (spring 2024) fully expecting to end the service when I got an appointment for a couple months down the road, and they surprised me with an appointment for three or four days later. THATS what I need. Thats useful.So that actually brings you up from a two-star review (they did the work in years past, just not in a timely manner) to four stars. If next year goes this smoothly, Ill absolutely edit and go up to five stars.Good job, guys. I hope youve made some changes.

Very helpful. Air conditioner broke on a Friday next available appointment was a week away. Temperatures were in the 90’s that week. Associate had us stay on the phone and kept checking in on us while she called many different vendors until she found someone to come on Sunday to fix it. Over and above!!!

They acted promptly to my needs and upheld their commitment to the paying the service tech fee and reimbursing me the $400 on buying a new washer. I have no complaints and will continue to purchase their laundry care package which includes hot water heater, washer and dryer. They also have furnace and water pipe connection home warranties.

The person that came to my home was so personable, kind and very professional and efficient at the same time. I had gotten a phone call when the technician was 15 mins out. The window of time given me was 8am -10am on the given date. I was very pleased that the technician got to my house by 8:10am. I read many so many bad reviews about Pivotal Home Solutions that recently I was seriously thinking about canceling my contract. Then, by chance, my furnace wouldnt turn on. It would hum (buzz) but that was all it would do. I called Pivotal last night, explained my situation and within a few minutes I was told that Absolute Air would call me to set up an appointment. Absolute Air called me early in the morning and said the tech would be at my place between 1-4pm and would call me when he was on his way. Jason called me around 1:05 pm and said he will be here in a half hour. He looked at the furnace and knew right away it was my inducer motor. He changed it and my furnace runs like new! Pivotal covered the $358 bill and all I had to do was sign! Im so very happy I didnt cancel!

Ryan from Center Guard was our tech and he was awesome. Knew his stuff- took the time to look and repair a couple other plumbing leaks we had and gave us a couple tips to use. Great guy and used simple language ti explain problems. We have to wait for bathroom shower stem repairs as the parts he had were close but didnt fit-not his ewrror

Harold and Jay were great. However, scheduling was atrocious. The plumbers were scheduled to come on Monday. No one ever came. We called scheduling. They admitted they had made a mistake. Then today, when we actually received service, scheduling had given us the window of 8 am to noon. We finally received service at about 2 pm. Your schedulers have to know that they are not doing their jobs properly. And if you would like to keep me as a customer you better get your act together. I have been a customer for many years and have never experienced this before. I know there have been procedural changes at Pivitol Home Solutions. I hope the scheduling service I received for this service are not a reflection of things to came from you.

I have a policy with PHS for sewer and water line coverage, my regular plumber suspected (over the phone) that I had a blockage in the mainline to the street, and advised I call PHS since I have this insurance policy. PHS was quick to answer and send out a repair person who was amazing and thorough and knowledgeable. Turned out it was an internal blockage (not external) and he (Kyle) fixed the problem in a matter of an hour!Great customer service by PHS and Center Guard Plumbing who they sent out to fix my problem!

Gave Pivotal a call for regular maintenance on my parent’s furnace and was blown away by the great customer service and attention to detail. Jeff was extremely professional and very personable. As my parents are getting old its important that their heating system is running as smoothly as possible during the winter season and thanks to Jeff I can feel assured they will be nice and warm all throughout the cold months. We had called to have service done on our A/C unit twice last year. Both times we were sent a third party vendor to fix the issue. Both parties said there was a leak in the system and only added refrigerant and said they wouldnt fix the problem - the next guy would. Not the type of service we want to be paying for. We decided to keep the service and give them another shot since it would most likely be cheaper when we could finally get the repair done. This time the gentleman they sent out was an actual Pivotal Home Solutions employee. He was very kind and courteous (I cant recall his name). He found the leak and it was in our coil. He then ordered the part required right on the spot so that it could be installed as quickly as possible. We received a call today that the part was in and asked if it would be acceptable to install today. I said yes and a little while later Miguel Melchor arrived. He was very kind and friendly. He went straight to work and started the repair. He explained what he was doing and gave me updates on the work he was performing. He fixed every issue that we had and then some. He spent quite a while in our home making sure he did a very competent and efficient job. His professionalism and skill have restored my faith in Pivotal. I highly recommend Miguel as a skilled and thorough technician! Thank you sir.

I was in need of maintenance on my furnace when it started acting up and I lost contact with my usual technician . I decided to check out Pivotal and I got the best customer service from Jeff. He was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed the issues I was having and made sure that I knew what he had fixed and even gave me tips on how to maintain my furnace to prevent issues in the future. I have two other properties and there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted Jeff and Pivotal to be my new HVAC contact. Its been easy using Pivotal. over the years, ive only had 1 case that they didnt cover(they dont cover corrosion in plumbing issues)...otherwise, everything else was quickly covered.the professionals that came were able to detect & repair the issues unbelievably fast... i mean in minutes detect the issue,& know how to fix it. if a part was needed, then it might take a little time.i have researched other home solution companies, but Pivotal has the best rates.overall, im very happy with their service.

Jay and Harold were my technicians who installed my water heater. Both of these men were extremely professional, personable and knowledgeable. Unfortunately what took the longest was your payment system. Harold explained the company is going through a transition at this time but what an inconvenience to the customer and employees. Hopefully these hiccups will come to an end sooner than later.The next day I noticed water leaking from my newly installed water heater. I called customer service immediately to report the issue. I scheduled an appointment for yesterday only to find out the appointment wasn’t actually “scheduled” by the customer service person. I called yesterday and spoke to Henrietta who fixed everything, gave me a claim number and had someone here the next day. The same two men, Jay and Harold! Fortunately Harold discovered the problem immediately and hopefully this is the end of my water heater demise!! I’m glad they were they guys who came back. I have used them three times. Once I talked directly to the office to get service and maintenance contracts. The office was pleasant ,friendly and answered all my questions fully. I then used them for a standard yearly cleaning and tune up of the equipment, the service was great. The company they used called me to verify my equipment that was on my account. The company gave me a date the service man called a half a hour before appointment and all went very well.Now for the best part, the office of home solutions called me on the same day as my appointment to make sure I was happy and satisfied with the work. I would recommend pivotal home solutions to anybody.

They are always responsive when I call and if an issue should arise with the appointment or service, (doesnt happen often), it is quickly resolved with my satisfaction in mind. Unfortunately, for the few items that Pivotal Home Solutions does not cover that need repair, there is still an issue finding providers that do not take advantage of people. I Love the Home Solution company as a whole, If You don’t have them You better get them but some of the companies they use for service suck. They need to have a group that specialize in finding the right companies to use for there Excellent Customers Service. For example Electric, fine the best Electric company to work with and form a bond with them. Same as a Plumber Company, fined the best and when they do wooow other companies better watch out because Home Solutions would be unstoppable within fixing home repairs and fixing everything. Home Solutions already have that great customer service when U call to get service, so when they get those other great companies onboard and there great too damn there will be no complaints. So if you have another company that your working with for repairs and they suck, or to high stop the press and call Nicor Home Solutions quickly they are the Best hand down. You want be disappointing guaranteed all your money back lol.

Pivotal Home Solutions is a top notch home warranty service. Having a home is great, but maintaining a home can be challenging. I have been a member of Pivotal Home Solutions over 10 years now. Just pay your monthly fee for the items you want covered and you do not have to stress about searching around for service technicians because Pivotal Home Solutions already got your back. Literally, this service pays for itself in the long run. I call every year for maintenance on my furnace, air conditioner, and hot water tank. Are you aware of the maintenance fees you would pay if you did not have Pivotal Home Solutions? When a home problem arises, they dispatch reputable technicians out to your home to repair your appliances and fix other issues without asking you for a cent. This takes the edge off of being taken for a financial ride! If an appliance is deemed unrepairable, they give you money toward a new appliance. Understand, there may be some items in your plan that are not covered. Get a clear understanding of your plan and you wont go wrong. My home has been maintained because of Pivotal Home Solutions. I definitely recommend them!

I have multiple plans from whole home, plumbing, electrical, gas line protection, etc. Any time I have any issue, large or small, I call Pivotal HS. The companies they use are top notch and if I ever have an issue with any, they change up for next visit. I have had to replace Furnace and AC and they refunded me the max amount for both in less than a week. I tell everyone I know who owns a home and are not very handy, to sign up. They have been a lifesaver for me.

This particular repair the repair man Bryan diagnosed the problem which was that an aftermaket contactor failed twice before he replaced the contactor with another one he had on his truck it failed in five minutes. We are in out 60s and live in our home . We worried what if something major went wrong with anything we had . Furnace stops working or water pipe breaks underground or your sewer pipe clogs who would we call ? How would we pay for it ? Well you know it could add up fast with parts and labor could be in the hundreds of dollars. Well we were contacted by Pivitol home solutions by mail and I called them. The customer service representative was very nice asked us what we were concerned about. I asked her what they offered for heating system maintenance and repair . She was very knowledgeable and found the right maintenance plan for us in case our furnace broke down . It was easy to do now we have pease of mind knowing that if something happened we were covered for the repair . For a monthly payments that are affordable and you can use auto pay for worry free payments the company had repairmen that they will call to come out and repair your your item just call them first and the company they will do the rest we are glad we did believe me

We always request Bryan to service our HVAC system and don’t mind delay if he is not available ..As always, the Customer Service is unable to handle clients .. The calls get connected to service centers all over the world and nothing gets done as it should.
