I had my Universal Tesla installed by Switch Electric on 10/29/24. Kory came and gave me a quote first. He told me my cost and explained everything to me in terms I understand. Jacob and Eryn notified me before they arrived. They reaffirmed where I wanted it installed. The area was a little more difficult to do but they did such a clean and beautiful job. They also fixed a few of our outlets in the house. After they were done, they labeled the electrical panel nicely. A few days later, they had an inspector came to our house. I highly recommend Switch Electric and will definitely use them again.

Phenomenal experience from beginning to end. I reached out to Switch Electric to replace the smoke detectors in my condo. Victoria was so helpful and friendly and set me up with a free virtual inspection and estimate. The whole process was quick and easy. Once I accepted the estimate, she called me right away and was able to schedule my appointment for the next day. Jake was our electrician and he was fantastic. He was on time, very kind and efficient, and answered all my questions. I cannot recommend this company enough!

I’ve been hiring Switch Electric for years now and have had nothing but great success with their entire staff and systems that they have in place for correspondence with customers.Bryan has been the lead electrician for many of my jobs. The guy is phenomenal, always exceeding expectations. Our most recent project was a difficult one with two basement bathrooms in a much older home. Bryan has an ability to find solutions to achieve the results required, maintain a projected budget and correspond with other trades and owners alike.

Switch Electric is the most professional and customer friendly that Ive met since moving to the Seattle area. They were recommended by a neighbor. Their communication for the estimate was scheduled and Kory the estimator showed up on time and explained their work. The operations team scheduled my panel upgrade project and the crew of Seth and his teammate showed up that day, a little late, but they notified me that they had a crew meeting that morning.The guys jumped right into the project, they explained one issue and how they proposed to solve it. I liked it and approved the slight modification. They did their work, cleaned up after themselves and were professional and nice at the same time! As they left, I thought, I wish all contractors were like these guys :-) I didnt have time that day but later I went back to audit their work and had a question so I called the office and left a message over the weekend. Tyler called me to answer my question and explain an electrical concept that I hadnt run into in all my previous houses.This week, the Seattle City Inspector showed up. Switch Electric scheduled this for me. Demetri was the nicest construction inspector Ive ever met - maybe he was nice because he saw quality work! He looked inside the panel, outside the panel, opened parts to see wire and said he was proud to place his sticker of approval on this job. Wow, Im very impressed and thankful!

We recently had Switch Electric install a Generac generator for our home and cannot say enough about the great customer service and quality of work they provided on this project. Customer service began with the initial phone conversation with the office staff. They were friendly, helpful and even arranged for Kory to come out the next day to provide an estimate. When Kory arrived he assessed our site, listened our concerns, answered all our questions and did not try to oversell products or services beyond our needs. We received a detailed estimate later that day at a reasonable price and decided to proceed. Bryan and his assistant arrived the next week to install our generator system. They were extremely courteous, answered any additional questions about the system and performed a top quality installation of all components. Before leaving they made sure we were satisfied with the work and that any additional questions were answered. The office staff followed up the next day to ensure we were satisfied with the work performed.Should we have any future needs for electrical services we will use Switch Electric.

There was some trouble shooting to be done and they proceeded with patience and knowledge. We had good conversation. Explaining things when needed. They checked every plug and switch in search for a bad wiring connection. Found it!!! My electric panel was replaced with a new panel. Everything that was taken apart was put back together. We feel secure with the electrical in our home.

I needed a routine service done on our generator. Switch has options of either a yearly service plan or they can come when necessary. I choose the latter and they came a week later, with good communication and gave a thorough run down of the work performed as well as an update of the overall health of our generator.I will call them again the next time I need electrical service.

I’m so impressed with Switch Electric Home Energy (from the kind receptionists, the 2 electricians that came to my home to help me with my projects, their system of appointment reminder and easy online payment). This company seems to be very organized and trustworthy. One of the projects I had was to replace the ceiling fan in the bathroom. It seems like a simple task to replace the ceiling fan but for my case, it was not that simple because it seems that the drywall around the old ceiling fan was abnormal. We could not put a screw back on the cover of the old ceiling fan because of drywall issue. This task seemed complicated to me. However, this task seemed to be easy for the electricians- Amazing! I am very impressed they covered the area in the bathroom room so well before they started the job of replacing the fan. Afterwards, they used the vacuum to help me clean the area as well. The price of the small projects are very reasonable. I am very happy with this company and the electricians. Both Cody and Cortney (electricians) were very kind and professional. This was the first time I work with electricians and first time being a homeowner. I was a little bit nervous. However, electricians and receptionists that I talked to and met from this company made me feel very comfortable. Great company overall!

Hired Switch for some data work and light electrical work. They do excellent work, are easy to schedule, show up when they promise and do the work as specified. I like their professionalism and the quality of their work. For example, when running a data wire to a camera in the garage, they put an ethernet jack in garage vs. just run a cat 5 wire through a hole.

We hired Switch Electric three times over the past couple of years- once to replace our knob and tube, once to put in a junction box for a car charger and wire up an induction stove, and once to install the car charger.Each time, they were punctual, polite, cleaned up well (for the whole house rewire they hired cleaners to make sure it was immaculate), and just generally a pleasure to work with.Their customer service is awesome - Ive just replied to the invoice emails with the next step of this process, and its flown from there.I highly recommend em, theyre fantastic.

Thank you Thank you Thank you JEREMY!!!!! Jeremy at switch electric came through in an emergency. Contractors were working at our home and blew something causing all the electrical in the main house to not turn back one. Neither my husband or I could work from home and construction was haulted. Switch Electric came within 1 hour of our emergency call. They were able to trouble shoot the problem. I had to leave for work prior to him arriving. I demanded my husband get the electrician on the phone when he arrived. So here I am venting about our home electric hiccup, what trouble shooting we tried, what I guessed caused the problem (a blow dryer in a non GFI outlet), etc. Anyhow I kept talking for 20 min not giving Jeremy a chance to interrupt me because I was stressed. Anyhow, when I finally stopped talking (shut up and gave him a chance to speak) he said he already found the source of the problem and fixed it but It sounded like I needed to let off steam so he let me keep talking. So thankful!!!! they had also came to install a 220 for our new professional chef stove, new designated circuits for our new professional chef appliances because I wanted each appliance on its own circuit so nothing could electrically trip new appliances that are over 20K. They helped me improve electrical in kid bedrooms to covert outlets to quads, replaced thermostats, and fixed dim lighting in the movie theater. So thankful for them and their staff. ADDITIONALLY i would not have been able to get Jeremey out here quickly without the quick thinking from the office lady that answers the phone and schedules. Today was a scary work remote day for both my husband and I where are jobs would have been in jeapordy not having internet. THANK YOU SINCERELY WENDY AND KEN...

Switch technicians completed a panel upgrade to support EV car charging and a new air conditioning unit. I was completely satisfied with the process end-to-end. Their project evaluation bid were accurate and competitive. They were on schedule and diligent through the entire process. The installs of both inside and outside upgrades, and the hookups to the EV and AC looked professional and clean. They minimized changes to the existing layout, and avoided disruption and unnecessary impact to the interior or exterior surfaces. The inspector had very minor requests for updates (essentially cosmetic tweaks for recent Seattle-specific code interpretations), and was quite complimentary of their work. They were very responsive and completed the tweaks within two days. I was very satisfied through the entire process, and especially for the diligence and professionalism they showed during their work. I am 100% satisfied and fully recommend.

Great scheduling when I had a tight timeframe to get an assessment of the amount of knob and tube wiring to be taken out and rewired before new attic insulation was installed in my old (1906) house, and then careful and considerate work from electricians Riley and Courtney, They did an amazing job over several long days to minimize the amount of holes that had to be drilled in my old lathe and plaster walls to snake the new wires through - and even those holes were very tiny. They were also very friendly and patient with my questions while they worked. Im very satisfied with the work overall and even the many helpful email and text reminders of when they were coming.

We needed to add a 50 amp outlet and two 30 amp outlets for our new induction cooktop, speed oven and convection oven. The job was a bit more complicated since the wirings needed to be routed from the circuit breaker box to outside wall of our house, through crawl space and up the walls behind the cabinets and under the island.We had 5 bids and while Switch Electric wasn’t the cheapest, they were very competitive. Most importantly, we really appreciated estimator Kory who explained the job scope and answered our questions without being aggressive.We also really appreciated the three young electricians who came out to do the job, Riley, Cody and Cortney. They were very polite, efficient and professional. They worked almost all day and cleaned everything as if they were never here. We are both retired retentive engineers and their completed work far exceeded our expectations. Thank you very much for your excellent job!

Really pleased with Switch, they gave a fair estimate to replace our knob and tube wiring. They were very clear and communicated frequently throughout the project. Seth and Murphy were rockstars. Our house is pretty old and presented some unique challenges but they didn’t rush to complete things and instead took the time to consider our options and were able to get all aspects of the job completed with minimal holes in the drywall. They also did a great job cleaning up. 10/10 would use them again and would recommend to others.

We have a new (to us) 112 year old home that had almost all original wiring. There were enough challenges with our project that a number of the contractors chose not to even submit a bid. Of the bids we did get, Switch definitely had the best balance of price and features (many wanted us to take care a lot of the details like trenching etc). I was worried that with their bid being the clear winner I was going to find out later what the catch was. Im very glad to report, no catch. Just great work done just like we requested. Alex and his crew were there for almost a month and they had great communication and a friendly professional attitude the entire time. Using Switch got our project done more than a month earlier than our second option, and in hindsight I am quite sure it was a better job as well. I couldnt ask for anything else. I had an insane amount of conduit and power installed for tools in my garage, the main panel and subpanel replaced, 2 new subpanels added in my home, baseboard heaters installed and a few alterations to how things were hooked up. Bryan from Switch ran the show. Several years he had installed my generator and adjusted the old panel which was specially made for a different brand of generator. It was nice seeing the same person back years later.The process was good. The initial bid was handled well by Daniel. I had to push for some wording and reassurance that everything would be done as I liked but that went well and he was always professional.Bryan was there every day, it turned into a 5 day job. He made everything look pretty when he was done and put in a lot of conduit for my 220v tools in the garage. Bryan is also just a great guy in general. Throughout the course of the 5 days I probably met at least 7 other people from Switch, everyone was always professional, worked hard. You can see them thinking about how to take care of things with minimal damage and what will look best or cause the least issues later. Even with tons of work done, the amount of required drywall damage was minimal and they always did their best to leave a working piece that could be used to patch the hole afterwards.I have some electrical knowledge myself and could have probably done the work but I didnt want to replace the main panel in the dark without the help of the internet and all the other work might have taken me 6 weeks and would not have looked half as good. It was an investment I was happy to make and given the choice I would pay Switch to do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Bryan! Thanks Switch!

In our three bedrooms, Switch Electric installed new electrical ceiling boxes, appropriate controls, and ceiling fans (with lights). We also had them convert three outlets from being switched to unswitched. Also, in one room, we had them add a dimmer and a track lighting ceiling box. (We then installed the track lighting ourselves.) Additionally, per Redmond electrical code, then install arc-fault protection. The work required working in the attics. We supplied the fan/lights (from Seattle Lighting in Bellevue).They charged no dispatch fee and were in the middle on price compared to two other estimates. They were also the only one to include the legally required Redmond electrical inspection.On the workday, they arrived with a team of three in the morning. Their work was professional and neat. We noticed two small problems caused by miscommunications. They cheerfully come back for an hour and fixed the problems. The work passed Redmond inspectional easily.We love the fans and the lights and highly recommend Switch Electric.

I cannot thank the amazing team at Switch Electric enough for helping my mom and I with many electrical projects. My dad passed away in April 2024. My mom and I felt very lost after my dad passed. We needed help with many projects around the home. An estimator/electrician Kory had been so understanding of our situation and he had been so helpful. He helped finding solutions to our electrical problems. For example, when we recently upgraded the electrical panel from 125A to 200A to prepare for an EV charger, my mom and I didnt know how to uninstall shelves that my dad had at the space where the new panel would go, Kory helped reassure that the electricians can help me with that and I didnt have to worry. He knew there was not a lot of space in the garage. He and his team of electricians helped adjust the space so that we can have a new electrical panel. The home that I inherited from my dad was not an easy home to work with. Its an old house full of things. There are two pets in the garage so the garage doesnt smell so great. Electricians from Switch Electric never made us feel judged that the home had been so messy and chaotic after my dad died while we are still grieving and adjusting to many changes. When we had an electrical panel upgrade yesterday, Switch Electric team did all the work with PSE so that I didnt have to feel stress with this update. The panel upgrade was done in 1 day. Electrician Seth Littrell was AMAZING! He and his team didnt even take lunch break because he said that he didnt want us to be without power for a long time. He did an amazing work installing a new, beautiful electrical panel in the garage. He helped clean up the area of the new panel even though it was way after 5 pm. Seths helper had been so respectful and took off shoes when he came inside our home even though he had to go to the crawl space of an old home. Seth paid attention to details and he made sure things were installed correctly. We appreciate customer service team (Victoria, Lanae and Lori) who had always been amazing and helpful when we called the main office with questions and concerns. I highly recommend this company for any electrical work. I highly recommend electrician Seth Littrell! (Switch Electric also helped install 6 Ring Camera Flood Lights at our home about a month ago. The Ring Flood Light cameras have been working great. I love that I can turn on lights at home even when I had to work late in the evening. They were not the cheapest, but the cheapest did not install Generac and after reviewing all of the generators available, I’ve found Generac to be one of the best rated. I thought Switch was the best choice because their price was half of what the big companies charge and they had the work done in only a few hours and the generator up and going. The technicians worked very good. Didn’t leave a mess. Made sure everything was finished and working before they left and that I knew how to get a hold of someone if something went wrong. i’ve already had one service done and the same thing with the service technician. He did a great job. He explained everything to me and he made sure I knew who to get a hold of if something went wrong. I have been so thankful to have the generator this winter because of how long power has been out in my neighborhood during the storms. If you can’t come up with the amount of money needed for the installation Switch Electric will finance. I have already referred another customer and if she goes ahead with installation, we both get a free maintenance from Switch. I consider them an excellent company because they make sure you know all about the product how to manage it and what to do if there’s a problem.

The crew in their office is easy to work with for scheduling and very flexible at the same time. Had Switch rewire my house, removing the remaining knob and tube from a few rooms and hallways (and adding some recessed lighting and a doorbell).I got a few estimates, and Switch was the most thorough and surprisingly the lowest cost. Given that and a recommendation from a coworker, they were the obvious choice to move forward with.Alex (who also did the estimate) was the lead for my project, and was able to quickly squeeze me into their busy schedule between larger jobs.As others have mentioned, Alexs communication was top notch. Every day hed message their arrival time and hours. Before making major decisions (e.g. moving or adding a fixture) hed confirm the placement was acceptable to me. He and his crew were happy to explain things to satisfy my curiosity or when they encountered difficulties. They worked around an awkward parking situation with my house without complaint. They cleaned up well and made it surprisingly possible to live in the house during the work. In short, they were simply pleasant to work with.Turns out my job was a harder than expected one - they underestimated the difficulty and it ended up taking almost 4 full days rather than 3. But they kept to their original estimate (and more importantly didnt abandon my job even though they had squeezed me in!), and as a result Im thrilled at the work, price, and speed.A very minor nitpick just to show this is an honest review - we unexpectedly had no hot water for a night due a misassumption about our water heater. But overall they honestly deserve 5 stars (zero pressure to leave a 5 star review unlike other contractors Ive had, which is refreshing!) and Ill use them again in a heartbeat.

At that time, I had many questions about process, potential damages (Holes), permit process, cost, etc. He answered my questions and gave me a few options for the project. After that, I sent him many emails to ask following questions and Alex always answered them very quickly and clearly, which helped me make a final decision with confidence. They removed knob and tube, rewired, and added LED recessed lightings and other lighting fixtures at my house. While observing how theyve worked, I was already satisfied with their progress. I had sense that they would finish the project well at the end. Because of that, in the middle of the project, my coworker asked me to recommend a good electric company and I recommended Switch electric. They also decided to work with them after hearing my experience. After the work is done, Alex walked me through what theyve done to show me everything he promised was done correctly and asked anything missing.There was a small incident happened during the project. One of his crews dropped a lighting fixture by mistake while installing it. I think customers can get upset because of the incident, but how they handled the situation made me have more trust in them. Right after, his crew and Alex sincerely apologized, gave me the reimbursement option, and promised to come back and install it once I got a new one. Once I got it, I contacted Alex and he answered when he could come back next day. The day was when Seattle got snow storm and freezing rains, so I thought that Alex might not be able to make it due to the very bad road condition. However, he showed up and installed a lighting fixture successfully and I was impressed. Without any negotiation, it was already the cheapest out of all the companies that bid on the project. Even better than that, the technologies were the best ones of all the quotes. So it was a no brainer and I decided to pull the trigger.We did work back and forth on the quote a few times, because I was undecided, and every time it was very clear, and very fast to get an update.Then when the team arrived on site, they saw right away that I would be really picky about everything: from the positions of the equipment, to whether the wire would be in-wall or visible, I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted. They coordinated all the permits and inspections with PUD and L&I and when they encountered an unexpected curveball during install, they adapted and made things work. It happened early in the evening on a Sunday,...of course! After some unsuccessful troubleshooting of my own I contacted Switch and left a voice mail and text message. I did not expect a response until the beginning of business Monday morning which meant that eight other households (my neighbors) would be starting the day without water. As I began to compose a group message informing them of that fact I received a call from Tyler Keezer. He was just finishing Sunday dinner with his family when he received a copy of my message. He spent nearly an hour helping me work through the problem but when the generator still would not restart his response was immediate and almost casual. The essence was:No worries. My mom has a portable 8 kw unit that she isnt using. Ill pick it up and be at your house in an hour. Well patch it in and use it until we can figure out the problem.As it turned out, I made one final attempt and the generator restarted, continuing without interruption through the remainder of the night. A Switch technician came out the next day and the problem was identified and resolved.Obviously, the fact that it was ultimately unnecessary in no way diminishes Tylers offer. I think most would agree that it was almost stunningly generous. But, I have come to realize that is simply who Tyler Keezer is. And that is why Switch Electric is such an outstanding company.UPDATE - 02/06/2024Aaron Pullen completed the yearly maintenance on our water system generator. It was really nice to see him again.Aaron is an intelligent, knowledgeable, experienced technician as well as a polite, personable man. I always enjoy having him working a job for us. As he completes his tasks with skilled efficiency, we have a pleasant conversation. It is very much like having a friend who is a master electrician and doesnt mind helping out. It doesnt get much better than that.

Called several electrical companies, for a bid, to have a stand by generator installed at our house. After reviewing several of the bids Switch Electric was the best price for the work that was going to be done. The crew showed up on time, as scheduled! Brian, the lead electrician, introduced himself and did a thorough walk through, to show me where the best place was to setup the generator. We talked about the best route for a gas line to be installed and the installation looks wonderful. When Brian and his crew finished he again walked over the completed job with my wife and I. Brian explained all that was done, answered all our questions, and then walked us through the generator start up process. I would HIGHLY recommend Switch Electric to family and friends. Great customer service!

We had Switch Electric come to replace our Knob and Tube wiring. They brought all their own booties and blankets and plastic to keep our floors and furniture clean. They were very efficient and even added a motion light in our utility room so we dont have to go into the dark room to pull a string. We were very happy with their work!

UPDATE- Tyler, the owner, reached out personally and made sure everything was done correctly and in a timely way. Just had inspection and everything was goodHad them install a few lights, and outlet, and update the breakers plus add a surge protector. However, inspector just stopped by and said that they did not add arc fault protectors to the outlet and some lights, and even worse, they did NOT install the surge protector, which I was charged over $300 for. They did not finish the job but charged me for things they did not do. This is unacceptable.

Colby, Seth, and Alex arrived on time on a Saturday and were thorough, professional, and friendly. Joe, who organized the job, was readily available over the phone and through text. We thought we would need to spend thousands more than what we were charged, but because of their honesty, we spent significantly less. Its hard to find companies with integrity and know-how. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for any electrical issues we have in the future.

Anatoliy and his team installed 15 LED can lights and 3 smart dimmer switches across my property. He was very descriptive in how the work would be done, how much time it would take, and how it would look like after the work is done. Indeed, everything was exactly what he described. He was also flexible enough to find solutions immediately when unexpected situation happened (e.g., working with hidden air vents, installing 1 additional light that was not included in the estimate). The team also did a great job of cleaning everything afterwards. Switch Electric is easily my go-to-pick when it comes to electricity. Thanks all for the hard work.

Anatoli and Jack did an amazing job crawling under the foundations of our 1932 log cabin in Kirkland and digging a trench to an office in the yard that was being built while they were working. As 2 teams (the pod building team and Switch Electric) both wanted to finish the job in a day there was some competition for space which was handled gracefully and with a smile. I am very pleased with the result of the work and the very pleasant collaboration, from booking through delivery to invoicing. I highly recommend Switch Electric and Anatoli and Jack.
