Quickly and confidently solved the issue.Took the further step of checking the outlet connected to the troubled breaker. Noticed that the outlet wasn’t receiving the correct voltage. We didn’t have a replacement so we swapped to an empty breaker!Greatly appreciate the quick thinking and confidence in solving my electrical issue!Will definitely schedule again in the future!

I couldnt be happier with the exterior lighting that Renew Electric installed for me.From start to finish they provided excellent and knowledgeable service. To start they provided a free estimate. Alex, the estimate technician was very knowledgeable during the estimate/consultation and made me think this guy knows what he is talking about. The estimate was comparable/ less than the 3 other estimates I recieved, but I remembered how impressed I was with Alexs knowledgeable so I choose Renew Electric for the job.I had a scheduling snafu that Renew easily and seamlessly accommodated, which was much appreciated.On the day of install, John and Alex performed the install. They were both polite, answered all my questions, and most importantly worked effectively and efficiently together to deliver top notch service in a timely manner. They were also very neat/tidy with their work and cleaned up after themselves. Once the work was completed they showed me their work and walked me through how everything functions. My partner and I worked with Alex and John from Renew Electric to run some new circuits for an electric wall oven and an induction cooktop, as well as a full home inspection to assess the quality and safety of the electrical wiring throughout the house. They did a great job, and they also explained the work they were doing, fixed unrelated electrical hazards that they discovered along the way, showed proof that their work passed city inspection, and were very friendly about the whole process. They took detailed notes from our conversations and referenced them regularly, assuring that every small detail and passing comment was accounted for. They even accommodated our scheduling delays and returned to finish the work when we were ready, without charging extra trip fees or anything. They installed our wall oven themselves and ran it through a series of tests to ensure that it worked properly at the highest, most power hungry settings.I would highly recommend Renew Electric for any electrical work, and I intend to work with them again in the future. They are some of the most professional and courteous contractors Ive met. Even their home inspection report was meticulously detailed, documenting every code violation or safety hazard for EVERY socket and light switch in the house. Top notch work!

Renew Electric provided a new experience: Alex, who did the onsite estimate, was on time, pre-announced himself, complete with his photo via text message, and did a careful review of the project. He gave me five different estimates, based on the current job, and/or beyond the immediate project to bring an older panel up-to-date. The project was to replace the wiring to a new over-range microwave, which was not up to code and had shorted out, melting the outlet. Although another electrician had come, when by Monday of the following week I had not received that estimate, I decided to go with Renew. Alex immediately scheduled the repair, then moved it up a day due to a cancellation. The scheduled crews pictures were forwarded to me with an agreed-upon time of arrival, messaged me that they would be a little late (but not all that much) and were done and everything cleaned up within three hours. I have dealt with all kinds of contractors before, but this was a first: the professionalism, their preparation, announcing who was coming WITH PHOTOS (an especially nice touch for elders like me who live alone), the meticulous communication and attention to detail throughout the process. The final payment came in slightly lower than estimated due to lesser cost of a permit. I dont know whether the final price was in the ball park but I really think I got my moneys worth from this company. I will have them complete the review of the entire house wiring system at a later date.

Renew Electric bid on this project along with 2 other electricians, one of which we had already used and liked.All 3 prices came in very similar. Renew Electric won the bid over the other electrician we had previously used because Alex (the owner) said he would be able to pull the wires from the panel through the rest of the garage to the new apartment area, hiding the wires by utilizing the attic space. The other electrician, a larger company with several crews, said that would be “impossible” and they would have to pull the wires through unsightly conduit running along the outside of the garage.Alex and his team did all they promised and more!I have served as my own general contractor on a few construction projects, and Renew Electric STANDS OUT in several ways from many of the partners I have hired. The communication is excellent: they tell you what they are going to do very clearly in writing, confirm verbally on each day of the job, and send an appointment confirmation as to who is showing up at what time.Renew electric is always on time. Every single member of the crew is friendly and professional, and they leave a clean workspace. On top of everything else, they will bend over backwards to help you meet your goals. My project was especially challenging because my timeline kept shifting due to delays in delivery of countertops. John and Ruslan, the electricians, arrived right on time and set to work. They did an amazing job tackling all our electrical needs. Beyond the initial contact, it took a short email exchange to button up the paperwork and schedule work. I hired Alex to install two new outdoor outlets, two new outdoor wall lights, replace three other existing outdoor wall fixtures, and to do some electric panel work to bring things up to code and redo someone elses shoddy work. A two-person crew did all this in one afternoon. Alex was extremely professional, thorough, and accommodating. We had a last-minute request/change and Alex was unflappable and made it work. He cleaned up afterwards and was friendly and communicative throughout. He talked through outlet locations with me and why they could or couldnt be in certain locations and gave me options before putting them in. He didnt sell me anything I didnt need (unlike another company I got a bid from), and he did things to code and the right way for a reasonable price. I had one lower bid but I am glad I went with Alex as I think I got a lot more for just a little more $. Stop reading this long review and call Alex.
