He knows his business & was able to answer all of my questions & to advise me on a number of matters related to my HVAC system. Had a scheduled annual furnace maintenance visit a few weeks ago (Nov. 11), with Riley, from Comfortmate (formerly called Mikes Bremen Service). Riley did an excellent job on checking out our 10 year old furnace, noted some work that they had done the previous season and confirmed that everything is in good shape for this winter. I asked him about our broken attached humidifier and he suggested that we may consider replacing it and gave me a ballpark guess of what that may cost. We have relied on this company for many years not only for our furnace but for our air conditioner and major appliances and have always found them to be reliable and pleasant to deal with.

We highly recommend Comfortmate Bremen Service!!! We had a dryer that had 1 job to do and was failing. We called and were greeted with fantastic customer service and an appointment at our earliest convenience.Chris, our technician was wonderful!!! He diagnosed our issue and came back out exactly the time he said he’d be back to install our new igniter.Not only was he professional, knowledgeable, and efficient…..he was great company! We have a house filled with twin toddlers and a needy doodle and he handled them all with humor and patience as he repaired our dryer.We will be working with Comfortmate for our future repairs and maintenance!!

I was so impressed with his knowledge and skills even though he is rather new to the trade, who really went above and beyond. I was recommended by my friend to use Comfortmate for a new HVAC. Everything got done within the day, duct cleaning and new HVAC installation. Floors were protected by laying of cloths and the technicians were polite and efficient. Its a family run business and it was a pleasure to deal with Scott and team. I even got zero percent financing for 7 years! Highly recommend this local business. Even the receptionist is nice.

NO MORE TEARS!I had noticed that every time the furnace came on, I would get a flood of allergy induced tears running down my face. So when my condo assoc. sent a co. to clean my dryer vents, I scheduled a vent cleaning but they said the cleaning could NOT be done because of how the furnace was put in.Mike to the rescue. Mike Bremen (now Comfortmate) services has been my go to place for heating and cooling for many years. I was delighted to learn they also clean vents. Not only were they able to do the cleaning but did their usual excellent job. Riley and Brett were amazing, polite, thoughtful young men. They worked quickly and carefully with minimal disruption to my home or life. Their pleasant personalities put me at ease and comfortable with 2 strangers going into every corner of my home. Riley insisted on cleaning any little dust bunny he could find, leaving no trace that they were here. And Im delighted to say, no more allergy tears when the furnace comes on now.Whether youre talking to Emily or Jamie in the office or welcoming service providers, like Riley and Brett, into your home, you are treated like family. I hired ComfortMate to install a mini-split ductless unit in our new attic addition. It was a relatively long run for the refrigeration line and they had to crawl in some tight spaces to get the line set properly as well as deal with the cold weather outside. These guys were phenomenal. They did the job right, were very clean, and couldnt be nicer. I was about 15 minutes away from the house when they finished and they waited for me to get home so they could show me how the unit worked without me even requesting it. Pricing was competitive as well. I highly recommend.

Recently I was in a bind and had to call a closer company since I live in Chicago, they gave me an unreasonable quote and tried to sell additional issues that I did not call them to fix. I then called Comformate & they were out at 7am the next day and fixed the issue for $350 less than what the other company was trying to sell.

These folks are absolutely amazing. What’s more is you can trust them to complete the work on time and with respect to your property. I tried another service (that has letters in there title), and the difference was night and day the other guys offered me a contract for services and had to come back 2x without addressing the issue. So I called Comfortmate who I had used before at my previous address. The technician identified the issue, and came back promptly to replace the parts that had failed. I’m savvy with DIY’s but this one I could not tackle. Trust is huge with me when bringing in technicians and these guys consistently deliver. Thanks to Scott for the great work! Start with these folks and save your self some headache.

I called ComfortMate when heat stopped blowing. I definitely appreciate Bob and Andy try to troubleshoot the problem first over the phone before sending a technician out. I work in IT and felt their troubleshooting effort and knowledge over the phone is excellent.The technician, Scott, came to look at the furnance issue and was able to find the problem. He explained what was broken at a high-level and came back the following day to replace the broken part. Friendly and knowledgeable service from beginning to end and I will continue to do follow-up service with this company.

Chose ComfortMate as they had installed the initial HVAC in new build. Consistent good service (I chose an annual plan) for proactive maintenance, the unexpected heat outage, and when it was time to replace the HVAC. ComfortMate worked with me to find a solution to my multi-level / single-zone house in the form of a ductless unit. Its my favorite! They helped design and get an approval from HOA, did install, and have helped me learn how to use and care for it. Always responsive. Am taking ComfortMate with me to the next house!

I am so grateful for comfortmate! They responded in less than an hour to a message I left with their answering service. Then I was walked through how to check my air conditioner units that were working but not well in 90 degree heat. I was educated in how to check my filters and told to change them every month. Who knew? All this for no fee. They have me as a customer forever. They also follow up to check if you actually need them if the expected advice doesn’t pane out. True customer service and great business practices!
