Matt installed my new vinyl flooring ~ he was prompt, responded quickly and listened well and understood what I was looking for. He was courteous, and always kept things meticulously clean when walking through my home. He is incredibly attentive to detail, trustworthy, and I felt completely comfortable and safe with him in my home. I would highly recommend Matt for any contracting project you need done ~ a bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, new flooring, addition to your home, basement remodel. Matt is simply the best and most trustworthy person you could hire for the project.

We hired Massoglia for part of our kitchen remodel. We hired him to remove and texture the popcorn ceiling, patching drywall, and tile the backsplash. The subcontractors Matt used were professional and did great work. Matt responded right away with any questions or issues. We would hire again.

Matt has worked for me on a number of projects ~ most recently beautiful flooring for my entire second level. He did a spectacular job, the flooring looks impeccable. And it was great to have someone in my home that was so respectful and trusting. I highly recommend him for whatever project youre needing ~ Ive seen his work on building and repairing decks, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, and of course flooring.

We had a deck reconstruct and expansion. The final product was great. We did have an event deadline, which they barely met, and it would have been preferred to have more time to set up. Some of that was due to circumstances beyond their control, however. But in the end, we were very happy with the quality of the work and would use them again.

We hired Matt to remove a load bearing wall in our living room. He was easy to work with and was supportive of the way we wanted the job done. It ended up costing about double the initial estimate, mostly due to HVAC being found in the wall. Disappointing that this wasn’t discovered until after demolition. We didn’t have access to our original house plans but were hoping the hired engineer would have provided more insight.Communication was good. There were a couple times where contractors showed up to our house without notice, but this was understandable due to the scope of the project. Matt handled the communication with the city to get all the necessary permits which was very helpful.In the end we were satisfied with the results and would recommend Matt for future projects.

In March 2024 after the last snowstorm, we had an emergency repair needed on our inoperable garage door at our home in Edina. Matt responded immediately the day after the event. Within two hours he had restored the door frame to its correct position, had carefully aligned it and added needed support studs. After his careful work, the door operated more smoothly than before the mishap and was ready for cosmetic repairs which I performed. Matt worked skillfully and rapidly with an excellent outcome. I have great confidence in him and his work.

Massioglia Contracting was very fair in their pricing, given the high market costs since Covid, when many contractors charge exorbitant rates. Their craftmanship met our expectations and they maintained good communication. We are very happy with the work done and recommend Massioglia Contracting. We intend to use them for future projects.
