Our house is over 100 years old and has some funky wiring that gave out in half the kitchen on Thanksgiving. After calling a couple electricians the next day and only getting voice mail messages, I connected with Gary who was in the middle of a job but said he might be able to fit our job in before the end of the day.Lucky for us, his previous appointment canceled and even though it was already 4:30p on a Friday when he got to our house, he stayed the 3+ hours needed to identify and fix the issue.I would highly recommend Gary. He was very knowledgable and didnt give up on a difficult job. He also quoted us a fair price up-front, and then didnt charge the regular over-time fee.Thanks for the great work, Gary!

Gary was very responsive and communicative throughout the process of figuring out my residential electrical issue. Once we had a plan in place for a fix, he was over later that day. He completed the fix in a safe, efficient and thorough manner for a fair price. All with a smile on his face.

Im a DIYer so I decided to install a ceiling fan over the weekend. Everything was going well until the cloth wiring was so brittle I couldnt tell which wire was hot and which was neutral. So, on a Saturday night around 7pm I called and Gary picked up. He proceeded to walk me through the entire testing process to figure out which wires belonged where. He didnt ask for a dime and I got my power back on and my ceiling fan up. Gary to the rescue! Thanks a bundle!

Very competent electricians - fast, resourceful and effective. Even more impressive is the focus on the residents - the electricians at Sparks clean up after each days work, re-plaster and re-paint holes that they make in the walls and always take off their dirty shoes...definitely the most professional electricians that I have encountered...very good about alerting residents before turning off the power as well. For the service you get, these guys are an incredible bargain.

I called spark electric at 5pm and spoke with Gary. He was very helpful in walking me through on how to trouble shoot my electrical issue since it is December with 4 kids and we had no heat. He said he was driving and couldnt stay on the phone but to call him back in an hour if the issue wasnt resolved.When I called Gary at 6pm he was awesome. He had a few other appointments the next day but promised to fit me in and said he will call me no later than lunch time to let me know when he could help.The following morning I got a call from Gary at 10am saying he was on his way. He arrived and quickly assessed our situation and gave me a quote for the repairs.He then went above and beyond and fixed an electrical outlet issue and fixed the main line that needed replacing! He also checked the electrical situation for this old house that has spent the last 50 years being neglected and was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to tell me what else needs to be fixed and approximately how much that will cost.I was a little nervous because of the other reviews on Google but I really cant say enough good things and Im glad we called him! And I will definitely be calling Gary with any issues we have in the future!!

Garys experience is greatly appreciated when a problem occurs in my old, previously handy man worked on house. He has seen many situations and takes the necessary steps to solve difficult matters in a timely, efficient manner. An honest man, who a number of times suggested not doing a fix when it wasnt needed, or finding a simpler, more economical way to resolve the issue. Finally, when he does a job, he does it right, according to the book. I know my house is a little safer after he completes a job. Also know the inspector will give the thumbs up after Gary completes the task. Completely trustworthy.

Had a problem with our electric going out and as it turns out it was an easy fix. Talked to Gary who walked me through what I needed to do. They could have easily came out here to do it and charged me but instead the man just talked me through the instructions and our lights were back on. Thank You Gary!
