    Aaron and Aaron were awesome and knowledgeable. I had called for a for a doorbell install, and I knew from an inspection that my grounding wasnt done right by the previous owner, they were able to show me where and why it wasnt correct, so I had them update that as well. Now it all looks right and everything is in place.They gave me numerous options and provided detail on what those options were. They even made sure to clean up after themselves, ensuring to wear show protection which I very much appreciated and got it all done in one visit. Prices were reasonable, and all laid out and itemized before work even began. Being able to budget right here in my living room and pick and option that best fit my financial needs as well as ensuring the work I needed done got done right was easy and awesome. They even walked me through all the work they had done so I knew where to look in the future if something else needed to be done. Great job guys!

    Current Electric is great. Hunter, our technician, is very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to assist us. In addition, he follows house rules always taking his shoes off and wearing a mask without a blink. I, also, appreciate the inside staff, like Kaitlyn, who take extra time to help regardless of the request. You feel they care. Great company!

    Update, removing one star for issues with the inspection. Inspector said he has made multiple contact attempts for scheduling and has not gotten a response. I sent an email almost 2 weeks ago to Emmy about the status and never received a reply.I was very happy with the recent work done by Current. The circumstances for needing it were unfortunate, but Wade and Zach/Dominick helped make a bad situation bearable with their friendly and thorough service. I trusted Wades judgement and appreciated that he was not pushy with his repair recommendations. He politely answered all the questions I threw at him and shared his knowledge in a way that was understandable. I wouldnt hesitate to request him in the future and will share his name with anyone I know looking for an electrician. Thanks again to Wade and team for your help!(Note: I cannot provide any comments regarding Currents pricing as this was an emergency that needed to be resolved ASAP. They did offer a financing option which I was very grateful to be able to take advantage of, given the extent of repairs. I can say that based on this experience I would honestly be willing to pay more to use them again even if I found them to be higher than competitors.)

    Brody and his team did a great job. I highly recommend them. They spent two days fixing what the original homeowner had done to the electrical. They were polite, asked my opinion, and cleaned up after themselves. If you call Current Electric request Brody and his team!They had to fix at least one thing in every room, minus my two bathrooms. The wiring for outlets were wrong or two prong in every room (8 to be exact.) They fixed my lights in the kitchen to my fan, moved the garbage disposal switch, they are now up to code outlets. They installed three fans in the living room, bedroom, and garage. The basement needed two outlets moved, the panel needed to be relabeled and rewired, an outlet was added in the workroom that had none, updated two outlets in the laundry room (freezer now has an alarm if the breaker goes), and they had to run wire from the panel to the workroom and they hid it in the closet for me. The outside box needed to be updated to match the panel in the basement, and they fixed an outlet outside that was no longer working. Then they added grounding outside for me. I am very thankful that these guys helped fix my home as it was a fire hazard before. I only took some photos as there were too many items fixed to take pictures of.

    Brody was the electrician who trouble-shooted my problem and designed plans of repair for me to consider. My electricity wasnā€™t working in my 90 year old garage; a problem for someone with an EV/ Hybrid car (not to mention my exterior safety light and garage door opener).Brody executed the plan I chose professionally, effectively and efficiently and now I have electricity in my garage AND a surge protector to ensure my home appliances and my car are protected from electrical emergencies; think lightening or power outages. Brody is a polite professional who gained my trust and lead his team to an excellent result. Ellie; my dog, thinks heā€™s wonderful.Tyler is an industrious and respectful electrician. After drilling into several cement basement walls, youā€™d expect dust right? Nope, Tyler works hard and leaves without a trace. He is a like all of the Current Electric team, a polite professional electrician.Angel was one of the electricians who rewired my garage. One of his professional duties was to dig a tench and lay a pipe from my garage to my house; directly through a garden with a small tree, plants and decorative rocks. After the work was finished, I was asked to peruse and approve the result of the disrupted garden. Honestly, my response to Angel was, ā€œIt is awesome and even better then before you dug up my garden!ā€ And that is factual. He is an excellent electrician and employee.Adam is a hard working, diligent and professional. His work on my electrical needs is appreciated and he is pleasant and courteous. He leaves the work area cleaner than he found it. I appreciated all of the Current Electric employeesā€™ work ethic.

    Tyler did an excellent job of installing my new 200 amp electrical service panel and transfer switch. Its comforting to know that I will be able to use my portable generator to keep my sump pump and other essential circuits working should an extended power outage occur.

    Wade and Dominic did an excellent job of bringing outlets to code, installing outdoor covers on outlets, removing old outdoor post lights that didnt work, and adding service to a switch that had no outlet attached to it. They left everything clean, and they walked me around the work to show me everything they did and make sure I knew how to open and close the new outside outlet covers that are a bit tricky unless you know how to use them.

    All three of the technicians, including Journey and Apprentice level people did an excellent job in every way in installing several fixtures, finding a way to install track lighting in a partially finished attic space. They made several trips for different projects and were excellent at communicating about the work, answering questions, completing the work in a timely manner and cleaning up when they finished. Highly recommend them all!!

    We have had a terrible time replacing our large chandelier in our entryway. After multiple failed attempts by others, Current Electric finally succeeded! Hunter and his partner were here essentially an entire day troubleshooting and got to the bottom of the issue. We are very grateful to finally have a working light there again!

My original appointment was rescheduled at 1:30pm on the day of the appointment. The second because of a mixup where my appointment was put on hold. That wasnt identified until 3:30 on the day of the that appointment.

    Updated 11/22/24We decided to move ahead with part of the project, Current Electric had quoted us and saved the rest for next summer. Taylor and Zack showed up right on time on the first day of the project. We updated the chandler in the entryway, over the dining room table, and the kitchen table. We replaced 12 canned lights to make them all look the same and added 4 new lights to the living room to increase the light. Wow, what a difference it made. We also replaced the lights that light up the area above the fireplace and replace the ceiling fan in the master bath.We also added under and above the cabinets lighting that looks amazing. Kudos to the person hiring at Current. Taylor and Zack were very nice and discussed each step of the project with us as they moved along. They cleaned up after themselves, always leaving the house as if they hadnt been there. We will complete the rest of the project in the spring and are excited to have an electrician we are comfortable with for any more work down the road. They are a great value and very professional. Thanks to our son who used them at his house and recommended them to us.We requested Current Electric to help us with some electrical projects that we have been having a hard time getting done for us. Our existing company never responded to several calls for service. Today, Jake Reilly showed up, and we walked him through all the work we needed. He had great ideas for us and Gabe us a detailed proposal for all of the areas we needed updated. Most importantly, he listened to us.     Tyler and Greg were our electricians that helped us transform our space with recessed lighting with nightlight features, as well as completely wiring and installing a complicated chandelier on our cathedral ceiling. They went above and beyond as we have a very unique house-we had no idea where our attic space was for the chandelier installation and werenā€™t sure it could even be done. They found it through the garage and cut a space for access to install it. Not only did they close that space back up, they swept, mopped, put our furniture back and even brought our trash can back to the yard (it was trash day).Tyler and Greg were courteous, punctual, they were so friendly with our dogs and most importantly they did an AMAZING job. I was so afraid that restoring the electricity to my garage was going to cost much more than I could afford. After they assessed the issue , they fixed it for much less.     Nick and his team did a great job. I asked for a couple of detailed estimates and a couple of general feasibility assessments. He gave it all to me quickly.I went with two of the detailed estimates and he did them timely and on budget. One job was to install ceiling boxes in three bedrooms. Nick knew I was installing fans and he went the extra mile to mark the wires so itā€™s easier for me. Francisco and Sam were friendly, professional and left the place clean.I plan on using Current for my next electrical project.

    These folks are simply the best šŸ‘Œ. Greg, Kayla, and Hunter (and Emmy too) were so easy to work with and went above and beyond with everything, and I can only imagine how valuable you all are to this company. All were able to clearly explain what they needed to do and why when replacing our home surge protector, rewiring our gfcis, installing new fans and boxes, placing a four gang outlet in our utility room, and installing beautiful canned lighting in our dining room. When they ran into challenges they came up with solutions that stayed in the budget of the scope of work and finished the work efficiently. On the way out Greg even tightened our door handle to the front door that seems to always loosen up on us. Again the workmanship was amazing, their attitudes were positive, the timeline was minimal, and I will be using them again for upgrades and new installs in the near future.

    We have been extremely pleased with Current. We bought our house and we ended up having to update the electrical panel. We got three quotes, and Current was neither the most expensive nor the cheapest, but fair priced and certainly a fantastic quality of work. We joined their membership; sure enough 7 months into our new home weve had to call them back for a separate issue, fixed quickly. Staff are always friendly, the electricians are informative, patient, skilled, and good-natured whenever they are in our chaotic, kid-full house.

    Definitely happy with my services. Needed a hall light with controls to multiple switches in the home replaced along with the switches. Got a next day appointment and the admin taking my call to set that up was great! Got an up to date set up in my older home finally after years of dealing with an inadequate fixture and set up. The guys were polite and efficient and wore shoe covers to not track dirt in. They explained everything they were doing as the process went along. and quoted the prices for approval prior to any work being done. Prices were fair for the work done. Will definitely use Current for future needs.

    I called for a residential electric issue, and they were able to send a service tech (Hunter) the same afternoon. He gave advance notice of his arrival, and showed up at the time promised. He patiently allowed me to describe the issues and explained how he would analyze them, then got to work. This visit was only for an estimate for an insurance claim, but I would have no reservations against using Current Electric for the work, and plan to move forward with them based on my experience. In 1 day Josh & Casey worked professionally & did not even disrupt my business as they installed new overhead lighting throughout.     I needed the electrician to review a flickering light on the Bathroom exhaust fan to make sure there were not wiring problems. Since I was having them review, I wanted them to replace the original Broan fan/heater/light exhaust fan with an updated model (in first floor bathroom with no access from above, so didnt know how they could do it, but they did!). Secondly, I needed to replace a bedroom light fixture with a ceiling fan and change out the receptacle for a new dimmable/fan remote. The third thing was to fix living room fan. The fan currently is connected with a light dimmer and not a fan control (which is bad for fan motor). I wanted dimmable lights as well as fan speed. Right now you dim the control and it dims both lights and fanā€¦.plus this is bad for the motor, didnā€™t realize that when we bought the house. I wanted something in the wall vs a wireless remote. I really didnt know how to do this, and they easily knew what to do and it works great! Fourth, in my electrical box they found that it was not wired up properly. I had them fix the issues for safety and then relabel the switches as they werenā€™t labeled correctly.Once again I am amazed by their service. They gave me the option to have an electrician out the next day. I had to ask for a week later as I was not expecting to get in so fast. On the day of, Joe W., the electrician was right on time. He was very polite and professional. He put his booties on and had blankets out as to not track in dirt. I gave him a walk through and he gave me recommendations on the items I needed. He also provided me some great recommendations down the road of ways to make things better and whether its something I could do myself. This was super helpful. For weeks I was trying to google how to do some of these tasksā€¦ but he knew right away. I should have saved myself the stress and just called them up. Along the way he found out my electrical box wasnā€™t configured correctly. I had him write up a quote and it was pretty cheap to fix so I had him do it as well. He was never pushy about it. Just very informative. I had supplied most of the supplies, fan, etcā€¦but a couple things I didnā€™t get the right item so he ran to the wholesale store and picked up the right parts. He was back in no time with another electrician. They cranked out everything in a few hours, a lot faster than either of us thought. They knew exactly what was needed and help solve me some of the headaches of how the heck they were going to do something without causing me drywall issues or access issues. When done, they cleaned up everything. I tested it all and it worked better than I imagined. I am super excited for everything they were able to help me out with today. I would definitely recommend.

    Don was extremely thorough and explained exactly how the generator was being sized first of all. He did a very thorough inspection of the site both inside and outside where the equipment would be installed. He took as much time as I needed to get an answer to all the questions I had.     Snow storm had me without power on the weekend. The professionalism of their scheduling member to get me the fastest service time was wonderful. Brian got to my home and very quickly restored my power. He went above and beyond at the -6 degree Temps. Restoring the mast on the side of my home. This is my 3rd time using Current, I am exceedingly happy with their service.

    Reaching a near desperate level when my ceiling fan and light failed, I made the call to Current. For a $45 Trip Charge and learning all I needed was a battery for my remote, I was saved hundreds of dollars because I was ready to purchase a new ceiling fan!     Five Star Service -- but some services are unreasonably expensiveWade from Current Electric was perhaps the most helpful professional that Ive ever had do work on my home. He explained both the problems and the solutions very clearly to me, and I feel very good about the work that was done.I also very much appreciated the up front pricing policy of Current. I was told what I was going to pay before work was done such that I was obligated to pay (I really with more companies worked like that).I thought the price for the diagnostic work that Wade (& Dominick) did was expensive but reasonable. It required a great deal of expertise which I value highly. But the company-set prices of some of the simpler services (that I was forced to turn down) were, in my opinion, somewhat egregious. For example $300 to replace an outdoor receptacle ($500 w/cover) or $200 to replace a doorbell transformer. Those prices might make sense to me if it was the only thing that they came out to do (I understand the upfront cost of a technician coming out in the first place), but as addon prices to an existing cost theyre ridiculously high.In the future I will definitely call Current again when I have a complicated electrical problem that I need investigated or fixed. But for any of the more typical simple stuff (e.g. replace a receptacle or hang a light fixture or something) I would find a technician who charges less.

    This company is wonderful. We had them come to our place of business to fix our electricity problem, which in hand itself was a nightmare. The building is so old that we needed to get the entire building rewired and lights and fixtures replaced. When came they only did the top part of the building while we was working.     Current Electric came out and gave me a detailed estimate on a new outdoor light I wanted installed over our back door and fix our ceiling fan in our bedroom. They called and came out ahead of the scheduled date and a few days later Eric and his assistant were here doing the job. They were professional, fast, polite and did an excellent job! They were done in 4 hours and cleaned up after themselves and at very reasonable prices. Not an hourly rate, but a flat fee for the work.I would highly recommend Current Electric for any kind of electrical problem or installation you have. A+++++.

    I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so because I was so Impressed with this company. My husband and I had been considering putting solar panels on our roof for years, and Current Electric was one of the companies we called for a quote. Current was the only company that sent a person to our home to discuss proposals. The other two companies did proposals by Zoom. Call me old-fashioned, but I really appreciated having a warm body come out to explain and discuss the project face to face. Ultimately, we decided to install a generator rather than solar, so Current sent another team out to do some electrical work and discuss our options for installing a generator. Again, the guys who came out were incredibly polite, and we never felt rushed while we sat and discussed our options for the project. Current goes above and beyond in terms of service, courtesy, and professionalism! Lastly, today, much to our surprise, someone from Current delivered a beautiful gift box filled with treats thanking us for our business. This type of thoughtfulness and courtesy will always be in fashion.

    Excellent service! We were thoroughly pleased with the quality of the products and the professional service of the electricians. Both Jeremiah and Kaylee (sp.?) worked quickly (and quietly!) to complete the tasks we requested. They were friendly, competent, and knowledgeable, and gave us multiple opportunities to see their work and to make any adjustments we suggested.     Josh and Brent did a phenomenal job with the installation of our bathroom fan. From our initial quote meeting last week Josh was super friendly and provided excellent customer service. He was fully transparent about the details of the process and gave my wife and I an informative rundown of how he planned to complete the job from start to finish and any potential hurdles that could come up along the way. Josh was fair with pricing, and Im appreciative for the professionalism he displayed while helping us out seeing as my wife and I are first time homeowners. During the installation Josh and Brent were diligent with covering the bathroom to avoid having a ton of dust and debris everywhere, and once completed you could hardly tell that there was major work done in bathroom as they made sure to clean anything leftover. All patchwork is excellent, and they made sure to walk us through the finished product inside the room and outside to view the ventilation while looking up on the roof. Great job, and thanks again! My wife and I are super happy to have this fan in the bathroom now, and will definitely be requesting Josh from Current Electric for any future electrical work we might need. Highly recommend especially for any new homeowners, he was friendly and a pleasure to work with.

    Called to have lighting replaced in my wifes walk-in closet and a switch added in a different closet. Dan and Jake were great, and also noticed that many of our smoke detectors (hardwired) needed to be replaced. They completed the job quickly for a fair price. Also, they were polite and left the areas they worked very clean. Weve used before and they have consistently been one of the best repair people to work with.

    Dan came in on a Saturday to rewire our kitchen as we discovered mid-oven install that the wiring was nowhere near up to code and dangerously close to starting a fire. Dan was a great communicator, professional, and timely - itā€™s clear heā€™s passionate about his craft and his customers. We werenā€™t planning for this today but he at least made a bad situation better. Would highly recommend him. AND! If you can afford it? Bite the bullet and pay for the weekend/after hours fees, they entirely reasonable and better than waiting months for the necessary repairs in these crummy times.

    Dan and Kevin were quickly at our home to repair our main breaker on a very hot day which caused all the electricity to be off in the entire house. I presently need chemotherapy and I really needed the air conditioning to work. They were professional, kind, and did an excellent job.     Jim was great to work with. Our bathroom fan wasnā€™t working and he had to do some troubleshooting in our attic to find the source of the problem. We ended up going with a new fan that would also allow us to put a light in our very dark shower and Jim did a great job picking a spot for it and installing it. During his visit he was also going to help me install a ceiling fan in our master bedroom. I was to remove the old one and assemble the new one and he was going to guide me through any questions I had. Well... since I couldnā€™t even remove the old one and had a hard time putting together the new one, the ā€˜helpā€™ turned out to be a full assembly and installation and it was all done perfectly. He was also very personable. Would recommend and hire again.

    We had 6 can lights installed in our kitchen less than a year ago by Current Electric. The job was done very well and we were pleased. Unfortunately, one of the lights started to flicker and turn off randomly. This was not the installers fault. The light was defective. When Current Electric was notified they came out within a few days. They found the problem and were able to replace the light at no charge. Good company. Great employees. We have used this company several times for various improvements and they always do a great job!

    They were fabulous! We had them come out to inspect an electrical panel for a house. Not only did they come out in the worst weather (snow storm, limited visibility, slippery roads), but they were on time! I honestly could not believe it. I thought for sure they would need to delay or cancel.On top of this, their electrician was extremely professional and friendly. He was a great guy, and I honestly wish I could remember his name. I would definitely give him a shout out. Would definitely hire again. Be aware that while they are not the cheapest electricians, they are not the most expensive either. You hire them to know a job is done right, and in a professional manner.Update:We had them out again, and Michael was fantastic! Fixed the issue we had after we had a new stove delivered that couldnt be installed because a new outlet was needed. He also noticed an issue with our electrical panel that he told us how to watch to know when it would need replacing. Fantastic, honest service. Thanks Michael!

The wiring that is exposed in my basement is tucked away, and everything was cleaned up by the time Josh was done.As others have said, the work is excellent and of high quality, and that comes with a higher price tag. However, Current worked with me to find a price I was comfortable with and Iā€™m willing to pay more for a job I know was done right.Very happy with my experience!

    So happy to have used Current Electric on many necessary updates to our 1896 farmhouse. Dan is amazing and so easy to work with. We feel that he had our best interest in mind and was honest with the repairs that needed to be made. He jumped through hoops to accelerate the scheduling and procurement of materials required for a full panel replacement, which was quickly needed due to safety concerns. He also brainstormed and found a way to install light fixtures in a room that had no previous lighting with the least amount of disruption to the drywall and other construction materials in the room itself. He is knowledgeable, professional and he made us feel like we had a safer finished electrical system when he walked out the door.

    Furnace tripped the breaker on the coldest day of the year & when i reset it-sparks flew out the top of my panel! Current was able to come out same day. The technician Dan M was courteous, professional & got me back up & running safely. The only down side is I was quoted a $45 service call & when the technician arrived, he explained it cost $45 just to place me on a list for him to show up then it was actually a $243.50 fee for him to tell me what was wrong. The woman making appointments should have made that clear. Thankfully I am able, but what if I didnt have that kind of money-being 2 days before Christmas? Kind of misleading but not the technicians fault.

Michael arrived exactly on time and patiently walked through the house with us while we discussed each fixture (which we had already purchased prior to his visit).     We contacted Current Electric as we were looking to get some light fixtures and bathroom fans installed in spring, but when our breaker kept tripping after we DIY-ed the replacement of outlets this winter, we had to call for professional help! While we reached out to several companies online, Current Electric was one of the (very) few that responded. Granting it was the holiday season, having someone available in a week was great. They called several times prior to the visit to remind us of the appointment; while I missed the calls the day prior, they still kept us on their schedule. Dan came out at the scheduled day/time with another technician (unfortunately I didnt get his name). They were both wearing masks and wrapped up their shoes before entering our home which was greatly appreciated. Dan explained what they would do and why it needed to be done, which was really helpful in evaluating our options as we were considering our budget as well as our safety. The estimate was comparable to one we had received from another company, but Current Electric offered some financing options that was also something to consider in making our decision. We really appreciate Dan and his companions friendliness and patience; we didnt feel like they were rushing to get on their way to their next appointment and felt that they were very attentive to our questions and concerns. Dan and Current Electric are definitely at the top of our list!

    Communication with this company is stellar. They call ahead to remind of the appointment and come on time. We had some outdoor path lighting that needed a fix.
