Steve and Pam were so amazing throughout our entire basement remodel project. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable and a joy to work with. You can feel the attention to detail every set of the way which is exactly what we wanted in a contractor! Our basement is completely transformed into a new space. We were hoping for a cozy, comfortable movie room with a dry bar. They exceeded expectations. I cant stress enough how much I would recommend Summit Construction. They are a true hidden gem in Lake Country.

Our experience with Summit Construction was outstanding! Summit handled our major first-floor remodel and home extension project with ease, professionalism, and transparency. Steve, the owner, is incredibly conscientious and dedicated. He has the utmost integrity and is a genuinely nice person. Steve communicates clearly and often, is organized, and is very hands-on throughout every stage of the process. He has excellent ideas and solutions when the unexpected happens. We felt that Steve treated our project as if he were remodeling his own home.Steve was an excellent listener and respected our needs and wishes. His crews were all top-notch and pleasant to have in our home. Steve paid attention to every detail, from the demo to the final walk-through. The quality and workmanship were high-end, and Steve was always available to answer questions.Steve and his crew were very friendly, and having them in our home never felt like a burden. They kept the work area impeccably clean and respected our home and family. Another remarkable thing about Summit Construction was that they came in within budget and on time despite pandemic delays that were out of their control.Our project consisted of doubling the footprint of our kitchen, creating a walk-in pantry, adding a full bathroom, building an extensive mud room with a varied locker system for maximum storage, adding a large laundry room, updating an existing half bath, remodeling an existing fireplace and office area, adding a lower level exercise room and storage area, building a back porch and changing the front door. The outcome was spectacular and exceeded our expectations.We plan to use Summit Construction for all our future remodeling needs and have wholeheartedly recommended the company to friends. We have moved several times over the years and have worked with many contractors as a result. We can say, without hesitation, that Summit Construction has by far been the best company we have ever hired. Steve is incredibly genuine and sincere and uses his wide breadth of knowledge to take care of every last detail. Working with Summit Construction was a fantastic experience.

We selected Steve and Pam with Summit Construction for a major renovation of our home including kitchen and bathrooms down to studs, new flooring, wall molding/painting, all new lighting, home audio, etc. We are mid-project and could not be happier with their expertise, honesty, and level of communication. We have chosen to keep residence during the work and have met their workers who are clean-cut, professional, and leave our home neat and livable each evening. They are full-service in a way that they coordinated donation of all of our appliances, cabinets, and most furniture to Habitat for Humanity, as well as storage of our piano and other items. We did not have an interior designer and they offered to introduce us to several who we met with and could choose from. Very happy with our choice of a builder/remodeler.

We first worked with Steve on our entire first floor remodel when he was, I believe, the general contractor for another company. He was so easy to work with, responsive, trustworthy, accessible, knowledgable and professional. When he started Summit Construction, we did not hesitate for even a second to hire him for our master bath remodel. We didnt even look anywhere else, not only because of the quality, professionalism and easy rapport, but because we just generally liked him and all of his contractors he worked with. The very first time I met him, I stressed to him that in addition to the obvious which are quality, cost and timeliness of the completion of the project, comfort and safety as pertains to the people coming in and out of our home for a few weeks or months on end was equally important. Steve and Summit Construction checked ALL the boxes! Since the two projects he completed for us, I have passed along his name to numerous friends, all who have had equally positive experience, and I will continue to refer Summit to friends and family for years to come!

I highly recommend Steve at Summit Construction! He is very knowledgeable in remodeling and new construction. Summit managed the remodel of my kitchen and living space. Steves years of experience allows him to surround himself with great tradesmen that will get the job done right the first time. If you have any questions or concerns, Steve is there to back you and and get it corrected. This is an industry where there can be less than reliable remodelers out there. You can trust Summit Construction to be responsive, dependable, and timely, while providing you with top notch results. I trust Summit Construction and have recommend him without hesitation.

Our house was in desperate need of a kitchen remodel and we picked Summit Construction for the project based on recommendations from others. Steve really took the time to understand what we wanted and worked within our budget. We were absolutely thrilled with the final result. Throughout the entire process Steve and his team did a great job communicating with us so wed know what to expect and when. The quality of the workmanship was equally impressive. They didnt miss a detail. Our new kitchen really transformed our entire house. Cant thank Summit Construction enough and would highly recommend them to others.
