We contacted James about problems with circuit breakers, an outlet, and a ceiling light. He kept us updated on his arrival by text. We explained things as he worked. Hes courteous and knowledgeable. We wouldnt hesitate to call him again.

James is incredibly reliable--quick to respond to texts, confirms appointments, and shows up on time. He has done a variety of jobs all over the house, lasting from all day to half an hour. He does great work no matter what the task has been .

James Butler (owner of Butler Electric ) answered my call almost immediately.I needed to have some work done on my Breaker Box in order to pass inspection to sell my home.He came promptly. He was efficient and confident in his work.he informed me when i asked questions and let me know what he was doing at all times. He even fixed some things that were not on the list!!i recommend Butler Electric highly!

Excellent. Obvious that he is very knowledgeable in his field. But more importantly, he takes the time to explain clearly what needs to be done and why, and also any options you may have. In addition, even after the work was done, he was quick to take my phone call to answer a question I had on the work that had been done, and provided me answer that allowed me to address the issue myself without him having to come out. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend him. (Job: Removed 7 old fire alarms in public areas of building [stairways, basement], and replace with new ones.)
