    32 year old electrical panel replaced, we got 3 estimates for panel and also add ceiling light. Although Kanon wasn’t the least expensive they did match a lower price, we were very impressed by all of the technicians they were very professional and explained all the steps of the process precisely. The day of our install a big wind storm was predicted l called them and they sent extra people to get the job done before the storm hit. New panel has surge protection and we feel safer. Very satisfied with Kanon and their people. They also labeled all the fuses!

    We had Kanon install a new circuit breaker, whole house surge protector, etc. Jason and Julian were very knowledgeable, helpful and very considerate with the care of our entire home. They showed up on time and stayed late to make sure our power was back on. In fact, we are having Kanon do some extra work and are requesting both Jason and Julian to do the work. It was a pleasure dealing with them and a company they were both proud to represent. We would not hesitate to recommend Kanon to our friends.     Many thanks to Jullian, Matt, John and Jon for completing my lighting upgrade project.     Highly recommend! They fixed my water heater and gave my home an inspection to make sure everything in the house was working properly. Both electricians that came out were courteous and professional. They explained everything in a kind and respectful way.

    Jeremy and his crew showed up on time, were courteous, and explained our options in detail once we told them what we wanted. Overhead kitchen cabinet lighting was installed along with a whole house surge protector at the panel. They cleaned everything up when finished all on the same day. Even had some materials brought to the job they needed so they didnt have to go get them which would have increased their time.

    Bryan and his team came in to take care of my circuit issues. They were so professional and courteous. While I was doing some work, I could hear them talking to each other about my electrical situation. They sounded like doctors talking about a patients diagnosis. I was quite impressed. When they were done, they had their work inspected by the Electrical Inspector. There was one outlet that was a few days outdated, Bryan told the inspector that he prefers to bring it up to date. He did the work then the Electric Inspector looked over everything he did one again. Wow! And then Bryan went one step further, he asked if there were any big/bulky garbage that I needed to haul away. Jokingly I said yes, my old TV that was sitting in the livingroom. He said okay, consider it done! He took my old 42 TV out and disposed of it for me. Wow! Wow! Wow! I always recomment Kanon Electric to anyone who is asking for recommendations for an electrician. Great job guys!

    Kanon Electric is the best contractor of any kind in the area. It starts with their people. They hire the best customer focused technicians that love their jobs and they are trained with very good technical expertise too. It shows in the amount of time they spend evaluating your home and with how they communicate their findings. The office staff is very good over the phone too. They also are up to date with the latest appointment booking technology and texting platform to keep you updated on when their techs will arrive.I had Bryan and Jason out to my house today and each time I met their professionals I think - how can they get better than this? I’ve had Kanon out to multiple houses now and they are consistently great. I’ll be singing praises to anyone who ask me for an electrical contractor and I’ll say Kanon every time.

    I have used Kanon Electric for several projects including: new septic install, running electricity to a detached garage and installing a temp power pole for a new house build. Each project has been fairly assessed and the estimate is clearly outlined with a few options ranging from the most indepth to a pared down version. This has allowed me to see what price and level of service I need. In addition, they offer a service membership that saves you 15%, reduces the base service visit fee, gives you priority scheduling and a free yearly safety inspection. The cost of your project can actually completely offset the membership fee once they apply the 15% discount.Their prices are not the cheapest and not the most expensive and the quality of their work is well worth every penny. For my garage project, their estimate came in at the same price as another company but the other company was only adding a new line to a J box on the exterior of my house. Kanon ran the line all the way to my garage, installed the panel and ran outlets and switches in my garage and attached shed as well as an exterior outlet at the j box on the exterior of my house. Quite a difference in service.The Kanon customer service and scheduling team are incredibly friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and are able to interpret my lay man description of problems or the service I need. They answer each call with How can I make you smile today? and guess what they always do.I have had two different teams of technicians at my house, each team is a licensed electrician and apprentice. They are all professional, knowledgeable and kind. Each project has required more than one visit and if they cant finish that day or need supplies that are not on the truck they come back within days to finish with no additional service visit fee. I felt very comfortable having these folks in my house, around my young children and even leaving and asking them to lock up the house when they finished inside. They leave your spaces neat and cleaned up and even patched my sheet rock when they finished one project in my ceiling. Ive also asked them tons of questions and they are happy to answer and are not at all patronizing. Theyve even helped clarify some minor repairs that my husband was planning to do and given us a clear line where a DIY project requires a pro or permit.While here on my temp power pole project, I had a PSE tech come to look at some concerns Kanon had with my meter and power line. They happily jumped in to talk with PSE without their existing project suffering any delay. And most importantly they had the necessary parts to make a repair that PSE agreed was needed. That was a huge relief.2 years down the line from my septic and garage line install I have had no problems with any of their work. I dont anticipate any future issues with my most recent project either. I fully plan on using Kanon Electric for all my future electrical needs and cannot recommend them enough. You should absolutely call these folks and get an estimate on any project big or small. Id give them 10 stars if possible.

    I had a great experience with Kanon Electric getting my electrical panel completely replaced. I was recommended to them by my uncle who used them in his panel replacement, and after reading the reviews from others, I was sold! I emailed the company and received a quick call back from Anne and setup the appointment. Louis and AJ came the next day and assessed my box which was definitely a hazard as it was sparking and lights were flashing like poltergeist. They explained to me my options in services. The next day AJ and John came to fix my panel the day and did a great job! AJ showed up right on time with John to get the job started. They were very thorough in the work and explained everything very well! Thank you again, Kanon Electric! Especially to AJ who was very personable and friendly throughout the process. I would definitely recommend these guys to do your next electrical project of any size! I am very confident in the work and warranty with annual checkups. What a great company and experience!

    Ive never used Kanon Electric before. I am glad to have found this company because they are trustworthy and professional in every way. The quality of work is top notch. I was given options and explanations to my every question They refreshed my electrical system and brought it up to current code and installed new lighting in my kitchen and dining room. When all is said and done, I can stand there, look at it all, and say outstanding job. I cant say enough about the people. They are professional, kind, and responsive to questions.     I love this company!!! I will never look for another electric company again! They treat you so good! The technicians know their stuff. They are polite, funny and so courteous. I love calling to set an appointment or if I just have a question. The office staff is unbelievable! This is a family owned company and it shows in every aspect. You feel like one of the family. Anyone not using this company is missing out on the best experience of their life. I have had a few things done is a short time, (2 months). I needed a company that would diagnose and repair my outside generator. It is difficult to find a company to do this. I contacted several companies about this and only Kanon replied to me. They came out and did a tune up and it ran beautifully! I had them install hard wired smoke alarms. No mess, no fuss. They worked around my grandchildrens school schedule when installing them in the bedrooms. It was great! When the trickle charger went out on the generator, they were out here immediately. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. Try them!!!!

    From my initial phone call to the final check, everyone I dealt with at KanonElectric was respectful, knowledgable, thorough and patient. A big shout out and thank you to AJ, Shawn, Bryan and Jason for all their hard work. The job ended up being larger than i initially expected as additional items were recommended as a result of their full inspection. There was no pressure to add these additional items, but based on what they showed me, it made sense to expand and add these recommendations to what i initally called them for. Their repairs and installations were top notch! The cost was higher than I expected. However, they itemized everything before they started work and gave me options to exclude certain items. It has been a very long time since Ive needed an electrician and the codes have changed significantly since my home was built in 2004 so i guess sticker shock should have been expected. I feel so much safer now and all my issues were resolved completely and efficiently. Thank you for a job well done.

    During a routine septic service it was identified we had an issue with our pump and needed to call an electrician. Called Kanon as they had septic system electrical listed as a service on their website. Initially were given an appt date several days away. Not even 30 mins later Jimmy called me and said he was reviewing the call notes and our issue was more urgent and he would see about getting someone out sooner. Jeremiah was there by 10:45. They assessed the situation, installed a new breaker and junction box and identified a big safety hazard with the electrical out to our pump but also confirmed we did have power to it. We are still waiting for our tank to fill to confirm if pump is working or not. Jimmy did a follow-up call next day to confirm we would be monitoring the pump and also gave us helpful info about where we can buy a new pump if needed that will likely save us money. Kanon was professional, thorough and quick at every step of the way. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing electrical services! I cant really speak to value as this was my first time needing an electrician for something like this but iour case we felt the cost was reasonable for the short notice and level of service provided. We do plan to use them for future electrical projects. Thank you!!

    Both Carson and Di Aung were great. I think they were here for about an hour for a job that I thought was going to take forever. 😀 None of our outlets in the main Den worked. They went through every Outlet to make sure or to find out what was going on. Before I knew it they were done and they had cleaned up after themselves. They helped me plug things back in where they needed to be because we had to reroute certain cords to other areas. They were just great and very responsive to all of my questions and my needs. So yes! I will be calling them again! Oh and you get a 10 point home safety evaluation with the service. Great for homes built in 2007 like ours.

    Weve worked with Kanon in the past, and had no hesitation about reaching out to them for a quote on a new project. Justin and Solomon were on time and as the quote was in line with our expectations, we decided to have them go ahead and do the work on the spot.     We had a wonderful crew come out and do an over-the-top fantastic job. When doing the repairs and modifications they went over an above expectations at every turn even when they didnt have to. We really appreciate our crew of Nate, Brandon, Mickey, Craig, Solomon and AJ. You guys made the experience exceptional. Scope of job was a brand new panel and rewire of over half the house. Adding and replacing electrical outlets and wiring smart devices.1 Year later - We just had Jason M out doing a follow up review to make sure everything is still working well. Jason was very helpful checking the panel and the plugs we had replaced as well as helping to answer some questions about a generator hook up. He also had a list of concerns we had mentioned previously that he followed up on. These guys are the best. I highly recommend this company for any and all electrical needs.

    Nate was GREAT! He was extremely knowledgeable. He did a wonderful job explaining what my home needed for upgrades and ensured I understood. He even did a top to bottom inspection that pointed out what other things I needed to do on my 1978 home ...that had never been updated! I have pannels that have been recalled due to fire hazards, and he quoted me a few different options for replacement and explained what each entailed. Loved his attention to detail and terminology.     Our experience with Kanon Electric has been nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL!!! We needed an emergency service call, and we received the best service from Lucas, within 2 ours of requesting a technician. His service that day was so fast and professional!! We then scheduled to have our panel replaced, some light fixtures added, and some repair work done. We were scheduled for 3 days of work, and Lucas and the team who worked with him, got it done in 2 days! In that 2 days we had Lucas, Andrew, Brandon, Max, and Mickey, all here helping out. Every one of these guys came in with a smile on their face, and the most professional attitudes!! I will refer anyone I know needing electrical services, to Kanon Electric!! Amazing service!!

    Grant and Brandon L. from Kanon Electric Inc were AWESOME! They showed up on time and worked very hard to replace our old electrical panel (and update a few other lighting projects around the house). I work from home, and they did an excellent job of keeping as much of the power on for me as possible so that my work day wasnt interrupted too much while they updated the panel.     I have used Kanon Electric several times at my home, and they are always excellent. They provide quality service. But even more than that, they people this company hires are just great human beings who are a pleasure to interact with. They always bring a younger employee that they are training, and its great to see that they care about passing along skills. This time, I was helped by Danny, Ethan, and Justin. They installed new wiring for a light and rewired connections for my cable. Ethan even crawled into my attic and into my crawl space. My dog was obsessed with Ethan and whined every time he walked out to the work truck. You just cant ask for better help if you need electric work.

    Kanon Electric is professional in every aspect. Their customer service is excellent. They scheduled and showed up when they said they would, which doesn’t seem like a big deal unless you have dealt with contractors lately. Their estimator/installer, Kevin, reviewed our house, discussed our needs and provided us with multiple options with associated costs. Most importantly, when installation day came, their installers called ahead to let me know their arrival time and drove in to the minute of their scheduled time. We were replacing a dangerous panel and upgrading from 100 amp to 200 amp. Nate and Lucas were professional AND friendly from the second they stepped out of their truck. Their actions gave me trust in their work. Nate was open to answering any question I came up with and found several areas which he was able to improve our installation.     Ahead of a planned HVAC install I called Kanon for some investigative work on some electrical issues I was having. They were on-time, up front, and thorough in their work. The provided several options for future proofing my house, should I want to schedule more service from them in the future.What you see is what you get. They tell you what they are going to do before they do it and provide you with options moving forward. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is the cost of their work/estimates overall. They do not charge you simply for coming out like other companies, but their bill at the end feels slightly inflated because of that.

    Kanon was recommended by our neighbors. Pricing was reasonable, easy to schedule, c/s on phone was very pleasant. We had 2 visits: the first to diagnose our kaput attic fan, and to replace the ceiling fan in our living room (the existing one died due to a power surge). They had to order the motor for the attic fan so returned a couple weeks later to install it. On the FIRST visit, since they couldnt repair the attic fan that day, they took a deposit only (even though they did the ceiling fan). A lot of companies would of asked for full payment. Also, before the 1st visit, they called us twice to see if they could come earlier than scheduled as they were working in the area. Unfortunately that didnt work for us; we had scheduled around a vacation, but we appreciated the opportunity to get the work done sooner.As for the techs that came out, WONDERFUL! The first visit we had Craig and his asst, Elijah. The 2nd, Craig and Brandon. All 3 were efficient, Craig explained what needed explaining, and personality out the door!!! Kanon is very lucky to have them.We def have our electrical company of choice, with Craig and his guys as our #1 techs!

    Kanon Electric is simply the best. We hired Kanon to replace our failing main Distribution Panel, and they provided courteous, knowledgeable consultation to ensure that we could make the best decision for our home; (as there are many options when replacing a Panel). The lead Technician carefully coordinated with the power company to minimize our time without electricity (it was just a few hours), and I didnt have to contact — or worry about talking to the power company. (Who enjoys THAT...?). All the materials used were of the highest quality, the Electricians on-site were 100% professional, friendly and efficient, through and through. Kanon Electric also backs what they sell an install. Their Technician, Kyle did a follow-up Service Call about a year after the panel was installed; to confirm that all connections were still tight, that there were no signs of oxidization on the Main Terminals and/or Busses — (as this could lead to a failure, and possibly fire or electrical dangers). The installation was, as expected 100% tight and perfect, and the Technicians also inspect the electrical outlets (etc.) in the home to ensure also that failures and/or hazards are not forming. Kanon Electric provides World-class contractor work, and stellar customer service. We know that if we ever had an issue, the call to Kanon will be worry-free, and they will absolutely take great care of us!

    I initially called Kanon Electric because my overhead kitchen lights went off. Kanon Electrical sent a very professional journeyman electrician by the name Craig who was able to do a thorough analysis on my electrical systems as well as explain what would eventually need replacement and the current state of these systems. He also told me what to look for that might need immediate attention since everything appears to be stable at this time. He was able to identify that my kitchen wall switch was malfunctioning and he and his assistant Joey repaired it. He then asked if anything else needed looking into and he and his assistant repaired two overhead lights one in my utility room and one in my broom closet. These repairs gave me much more light than had been there before, and they were able to push one lamp back into the ceiling where it belonged. They also removed all of my old burned out fluorescent lights that had been stored in my garage to dispose of them properly.They gave me a $50 coupon and the charge was reasonable for the work they performed. These young men were so nice and willing to help me. I felt they went way beyond their duty. If you hire an electrician from Kanon Electric you will be so thankful you did. I guarantee it!

    A power circuit in the house wasnt working. They came out and fixed the problem. They noted we had an old panel as well as multiple aluminum circuits. The garage had multiple issues that needed to be addressed as well as two bathroom fans that were failing. A ceiling fan that wasnt mounted correctly, outdoor outlet not connected correctly, door bell transformer not mounted correctly. Basically there were a ton of items we needed to have address and they took care of all of them. Took 3.5 days to get to all of it. The house is so much better now.

    Grant B. came out and helped me with a problem I was having with some wall heaters that had involved melted wires. He was very professional and very thorough. He was also willing to answer my many questions about how my homes electrical system works and what I can do to keep it in good condition in the future. He showed up right on time, for a time frame that I actually scheduled (a 90 min window, not all day, FANTASTIC), which I greatly appreciated and which I have struggled to find with other service companies. Electrical work is expensive, but I felt I was fairly treated and got a lot of reliable and useful information. My only complaint was that I wish the person who scheduled the work would have been more upfront about costs, which were clearly pre-determined on printed materials and could have been shared with me so I wasnt so surprised, but I also wasnt sure what to ask when I called. The electrician himself was respectful, masked when I requested it and left me confident that my problem was resolved and done right. Would totally call them again for future work, and would probably request Grant specifically. I tend to have very high standards in what I expect for customer service, and felt that I received excellent service from this company and this electrician.

    We had lost outside lights and overhead lights in several rooms, with breakers flipping off immediately after resetting. Figured we had a short somewhere, not sure where or how. Grant came out, did a complete safety inspection, and found the problem. He explained what he had found, discussed options with us and planned next steps. He and his team rewired a circuit around the problematic short so that we could get our overhead lights working again, and started the process for replacing our electrical panel, which had moisture behind it. At his next visit, he and his team replaced and sealed the panel, relabeled and tested all of the circuits and ran new wiring to the outside lights. Through the entire process the entire team was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and communicative. I really appreciated that things were explained to both my husband and me and that all questions were answered completely. The onsite team communicated with the office team so that Utility locating, PSE and the city inspection came together perfectly. Working with the office was also easy; they had all the answers and were accommodating. When an unexpected problem came up, someone was there the next day to take care of it. Best experience ever with an electrical contractor, and weve already passed the recommendation on to several friends.Most recently, AJ and Jason came out to install wiring for an attic fan and to put in an outlet and switch. They’re bid came in at a fair price and was the lowest we found. They require their work to be permitted, so you know they’re going to do a great job that’s up to code every time. The receptionist was extremely friendly and we scheduled an appointment to put in a outside light pole. Kevin was assigned to my job and was punctual, friendly, and professional. The job required digging a hole and pouring cement for a foundation of my new outside light pole and connecting electrical wires. He helped me mix the cement and we put in the light pole base to let dry. Upon return after the cement dried he put together the light pole and wired it all up.     We had two old bathroom fans die. When they did the initial survey (what was wrong, what repairs were needed, etc.) They also pulled my panel and found signs of overheating. Yes, I could see it. As the house is over 20 years old we decided to upgrade the panel.The first day both fans were replaced. This was more the unplugging the fan and putting another one in. They replaced the exhaust and secured the pipe. The fans were extremely quiet. They then prepped to install the panel.They next day they cut the power and installed the panel. I hung around and was given a practical education in what was done. Again, the upgrade in equipment was very noticeable. Interestingly, the inspection was virtual and easily done. Once the power was restored we walked through the house checking every room and circuit. By “we,” it was suggested that I join the inspection. Again it was an education. In fact, the power company and the inspector also took the time to explain what was being done as well as the new developments.Lucas was on time, neat and professional. We’d talked about my watching and what my interest was. He always took the time to explain what was being done and what to look for.Kanon is now my “go to” electrical company.

    Nick preformed a total electrical upgrade for us, from panel, to outlets/switches, recessed lighting to fire/smoke/carbon monoxide alarms. We installed a ring doorbell and cameras and we had a manual generator switch installed. The project took about 5 days.Nick had an incredible team working with him ensuring the job would be done right and on time. He offered up suggestions and discussed alternatives with me. He was quick to accommodate project scope change and always had the equipment/supplies he needed. The team was very respectful of property, always wore shoe covers and vacuumed any area in which they worked.     Kevin, Derek, and Nate have been working my house for the past several days, rewiring and replacing every outlet and light switch as well as putting in a new panel and meter box. They have all been incredibly professional and timely, friendly, and always picking up after themselves. I trust their judgment and recommendations when it comes to our house, which was very poorly put together by someone who definitely was not an electrician. I feel much safer knowing that all our electrical work is in order thanks to them. I also felt comfortable leaving them in my house while I had to run an errand, and they even fixed my broken laundry door while they were at it! On top of it all, my puppy Moose adored them, and thats a pretty good sign in my book.This is not the first time Kanon Electric has helped us out; a few months ago we had to get a new outlet put in on very short notice, and weve also had recessed lighting installed, among other things. Nick and his team were the ones to put in the new outlet that same day we called and they even put up my new microwave for me, which was a lifesaver!     As a new homeowner, I searched for an electric company that I could rest rely on for my current and potential future service needs. In addition to Kanan Electric, I contacted two other reputable companies and one independent electrician. Overall, I chose Kanan as this company didnt waste time developing a professional rapport. They were more timely regarding availability and well organized with strong staffing. The initial job I requested was a laundry list of services which I did not expect to be addressed immediately. Craig arrived promptly with an apprentice as scheduled for my assessment. He answered all of my questions (there were many) and he did not rush me. He took the time to make sure I was well informed and provided me with three different service options. Impressive to note that on the same day, most of my service needs were met. In addition to the assessment, they stayed well beyond the estimated time and provided me with electric services. At the end of the day, I was advised to contact Kanon admin and schedule the remainder of the job. Before I had a chance to contact Kanon about this, one of their service workers/leads called me the very next day. I was informed that one of the locations they were scheduled for work was unavailable. They inquired if they could return to complete the work because they had an opening. For me, this initiative on Kanans behalf was additional evidence of their professionalism and reliability. And more so, very significant because I had already paid for the services up front (the day prior as noted within the service plan of my choosing). A different crew arrived to complete the job and maintained exceptional service. I especially appreciated the hard work of Pa ana and highly recommend her if you have a choice. Paana went the extra mile and I will be requesting her for future service needs! Kanan is not the cheapest company but you get what you pay for. When addressing water and/or electricity issues in my home, I will not cut corners. More than a company just doing a stand up job, the reassurance that I am dealing with professionals exponentially adds to the value of their services. I also purchased an annual coverage contract with Kanan in the event that I ever need emergency services.

    My Nest learning thermostat stopped working. After trying to troubleshoot, Darrek and Mickey were able to diagnose it was a furnace panel that wasnt replaced properly. What a relief. They did a home evaluation including electrical panel, whole-home surge, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors as part of this initial visit, making the required service fee worth it. Ill definitely consider Kanon a trusted service provider. Thanks!

    Wow! I always think these really positive reviews are fake, but I have to say I was very pleased with Kanons service. I was having a hard time getting anyone else to come out quickly, but they made it happen since the electrical issue was somewhat an emergency. Very clean (took shoes covers on and off every time he went in or out on the house), did a thorough job, and they have this upfront pricing booklet so you arent surprised by your bill. I would definitely use them again. These days I find it hard to even get a service provider to answer the phone, return calls, or even show up to a set appointment. These guys returned calls, showed up on time, and did a great job! Thanks!!

    Where to start! They are great! I particularly like the text of photo of the electrician coming to help. They are organized and care about how they do their work. They clean up after themselves. The techs are also very friendly and pleasant. I had an issue with the power after hours and they came out within 30 minutes or so to look at it. I would highly recommend them. We have used them a few times now.

    Amazing company and service. Replaced a panel and grid to home connection last year, and came early in the morning today to fix an emergency light fixture issue. Highly professional and cant recommend them enough. Thoroughly explained their process and breakdown of pricing so nothing was a surprise. Well call them first if we have any more issues. :) 10/10!
