Really impressed with the service we received from quote to completion of our Tesla charger install with Provident. Every person we spoke to throughout the process was friendly, informative and professional. They even restored the pieces of drywall they had to remove to run the cabling which I was not expecting. All I have to do now is some light mud and paint.

Provident Electric recently helped us through a complicated electrical inspection issue in our downtown condo. It involved the coordination of efforts from Potomac Edison, the city inspector, the historic district and the HOA management. We ended up having to stay in a hotel for 7 nights until the power could be turned back on. I dont think we would have this resolved if not for the direct intervention on the part of the Provident Electrics owners and their diligence in personally following up with everyone. We cant thank them enough!We truly appreciate their extraordinary efforts and will continue to spread the word about their great service. Chris performed the annual maintenance on my Generac generator and he went above and beyond as far as I am concerned. He showed my what went wrong with one of my load managers and how the same problem was about to occur to another of my load managers and how I can be prepared to fix it myself, but more importantly, how I can prevent it from breaking. He not only answered all of my questions, but he made sure that I understood the answer, and more importantly, the reason for the answer. I have made a note to myself to always as for Chris to be the tech who services my generator.

I had a swimming pool installed and needed an electrician to do the hook-up. Jeremy came to give me the estimate and really worked with me to stay within my budget. Cassy and Patty worked with the county on the permit. Romeo and Albert were the first ones to arrive that morning with the trencher. I showed them where a drainage pipe was located and they trenched around it which was perfect! Jeremy then arrived and they proceeded with replacing the subpanel that another company supposedly had in place for the addition of the pool. These guys were super nice, explained everything and did a fabulous job. I highly recommend using Provident Electric for any Electrical work you need.

Jeremy Wolf is an outstanding repair person. Great personality. He actually listened to me about the issues I had been having. There was a glitch in the installation of my new generator which caused a power failure in my house, leaving me with no heat. He came to my house as soon as he could. He investigated the issue and fixed it. He called the next day to check in. This has been a very frustrating time, but my faith has been restored due to Jeremy’s professionalism and expertise.

The estimate came back within 48 hours. Then we were put on the schedule. I was notified by text every time the technicians were on their way. Jeremy with Provident came and led the project. I cant tell you how impressed I am of how quickly and well the the team moved. Jeremy and Jose had the rough in was done in just under 2 days. They scheduled the inspection and even had technicians come with the inspector to go around and make adjustments as soon as the inspector wanted a change. Final electrical was just as professional. Jeremy and Jose moved quickly and were done in about 2 days. Our home remodel was a big project and consisted of: removing a wall between kitchen and dining rooms, new lighting and outlets for kitchen and island, 2nd floor conversion of bedroom to a master bathroom with walk in shower double vanity and jetted tub, washer and dryer on the second floor, wired smoke detectors in all bedrooms and on 3 floors, running wire for new HVAC system, and fixing some of my DIY work .Thanks Larry, Jeremy, and Jose!

They wrote up an estimate to install outlets and switches throughout my entire house for just over $6000. That is not what I needed. We called Provident after a bad job by a different contractor--the previous contractor did not pull proper permits for a new outlet installation and were being dodgy about the situation. After calling Provident and explaining my situation, Jeremy was at our house the same day. He presented a clear plan to resolve all issues from the previous work and directly worked with the city to ensure compliance for the electric work in a way that was minimally intrusive (i.e limited cutting of drywall). I very much appreciated Jeremys follow-through on his commitments. Leading up to the project he called or texted me with updates on the permit process, and called me after the inspection to ensure everything was cleared. The price of the job was very reasonable all things considered and was without excess. The servicing technican Matt also did a great job with the actual repair work. I will be using Provident from now on for any future electrical work.
