Pat and his assistant fixed my heaters cast iron broken pipe. Even though hes an electrician, I asked him if he could help with that, and he said yes. I heard it all from other people - it was not possible to be fixed because its an old house with a very old heating system, its hard to fix iron pipes, have to open the entire ceiling to see where the pipes join, etc, etc. Who knew it was actually fixable without all the drama? The pipe broke and leaked through my ceiling because of improper installation, where water has been sitting in the lowest part for years. Eventually, the rust won. He cut and replaced the part, including the pipes going to the radiator. Closed and finished the ceiling with 2x4s and sheetrock, ready for paint. Some issues with the size of the new pipe came into the middle of the job, and he did not hesitate to drive around to 3 stores to find the necessary part. I am beyond happy with all the jobs hes done for me. Hes excellent and trustworthy. Hes always the first person I call for any fixes around the house I need. I can highly recommend him!

I had an issue with lights not turning on in a certain part of the house and I was concerned. I attempted to troubleshoot the problem myself by checking the circuit breaker panel and couldn’t resolve the issue. My wife ended up calling up Floria Electric and spoke to Pat. Unfortunately he was not in town, so he couldn’t physical help by coming to our home. But out of total kindness Pat said to take a picture of the circuit breaker panel and send it to him and he will see if he can help me. So I did that, initially we didn’t resolve the issue until I told him I have another circuit breaker panel and he told me to take picture which I sent to him. Upon sending that picture he immediately identified the issue and the issue was resolved. Pat stayed on the phone for about 15 minutes to help me and didn’t charge me a dime. I’m grateful for his help and patience that he showed in helping me and my family. If I ever need help with electrical I will be using Floria Electric and you should to. He did not have to help me and he did, that shows me a lot about his character which i’m sure represents what the company is all about.Thanks again

My AC split system had a bad leak, and it was very hard to diagnose. Pat came and performed different tests until the issue was resolved. It took a long time because we had to wait between the tests to see if the leak had stopped. On 2 occasions, he and his assistant worked full days under the scorching sun in 95-degree weather. He went above and beyond to fix the issue. In the middle of the biggest heat, when the AC wasnt working, he even brought temporary inside AC units so I could live in the house. I dont know of a company that would do that. Ever! Hes courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and just plain good human. He accommodated all my requests. All in all, I have used Pat for different jobs, and I cant recommend him enough.

This is the second time we used Floria Electric and he did not disappoint once again! We recently got a new electric vehicle and needed a charger installed. Today Pat showed up to install the Leviton Charger that he not only supplied, but completed the job diligently and efficiently. The whole job was completed quicker than expected and 25% less than I was originally quoted from another company. When I first read all of Pat’s glowing reviews I was wondering how he can not have one bad review? Now I know why. He’s a phenomenal electrician and even better person. He’s extremely knowledgeable and honest and does the right thing for his customers. Pat and his staff installed a variety of landscaping lighting and uplighting in the front of my house along with an LED flood light and indoor high hats. His work is exceptional and very neat and clean. Pat drove back to my house multiple nights to adjust the outdoor lighting to insure everything was perfectly lit. He goes above and beyond unlike any other person who has worked on my house in the past. He’s also very reliable and will always get back to you in timely fashion. Needless to say I’d highly recommend Pat and his staff for any electrical needs!I’m adding another review because Pat just got my central heat up and running in no time in 6 degree weather after it stopped working. I called him and he resolved my issue the same day no problem. We are so grateful for his prompt and precise services as always, especially today as we would have been freezing if it weren’t for him. While Pat was here I asked for a quote on upgrading our service to 200 amps and getting some outlets installed, quoted us a very fair price, came the next week to do the service. Pat did the service upgrade and outlet installation in less than a days time, very clean, on time, professional. Pat was the only electrician that said hed come right away after telling him i just had a fire from the washer machine. I called three others with great reviews as well and they never returned my calls. When he came within 30minutes I was so relieved. His genuine kindness and honesty was such a relief after the trauma we endured today. The entire house was full of black smoke and there was a big fire in the boiler room. I was really nervous thinking hed hit us with a high price but instead he was more than reasonable. After fixing our issues today were hiring him to do the lighting in both bedrooms and to also run a proper line from the washer machine to the garage. Im keeping his info and will recommend him to all my friends and family.UPDATE: Pat completed his work for us, both him and his assistant was very nice. His price moving onto more work that needed to be done seemed a tad high but because him and his helper are so reliable we were going to keep working with him. Pat truly is the utmost professional when it comes to his work. I had an issue with my air conditioner, which abruptly shut off. After contacting Pat, he came over to diagnose the issue and was able to secure a replacement motor that was out of stock. He came by after hours and even fixed the condensation lines which he noticed were not connected while also cleaning the evaporator as well. There is a reason why he gets the great reviews that he does. I would gladly work with him again!

I highly recommend Floria Electric for air conditioning and electrical work. I needed to replace an under-powered split-system air condition system in the Living Room with a more powerful unit that would cool a large open area. This had to be done quickly during this heat wave because my 94 year old mother was suffering in the heat. The company I had been using for 8 years plus 4 other companies I called could not do the work for 2 months. I called Pat Floria on a Friday and he somehow obtained what appears to have been the last available Mitsubishi system on Long Island and he had it delivered to my house that same day to store in my garage. Pat and his assistant installed it just 3 days later on Monday, July 5th even though it was a Federal holiday and his price was competitive. He had the new 2-unit air conditioning system working in my Living Room and Den by 6:00 pm that day and it works great (the rooms get as cold as I want even when it is hot outside). Pat is an electrician and a plumber and he does all forms of general contracting. I mentioned a few minor repairs around the house that I needed done and he just took care of them at no extra charge. I am very happy and satisfied with the work Pat did for me. If you get the chance, ask Pat to tell you about the time he performed on stage at Carnegie Hall when he was 12 years old!

WHAT A DIFFERENCE THESE LIGHTS MAKE!!! The products he uses is of superior quality and it made a significant difference and now we can see the beautiful crown moldings, door moldings, and we can appreciate the gorgeous vaulted ceilings in the bedrooms. Pat worked with me on the price and even gave me an additional discount when he saw how many more project we had to complete with our new house. I originally found Pat on Angies List about 5 years ago. I was interviewing other electrical and HVAC contractors and he was the only one who had a real plan for getting my new 100-year old house up to code. He was able to install mini-split ac systems where the other contractors said couldnt be done. He is professional and reasonably priced considering the excellent quality of the work. Beware or be aware that many other contractors take the easy way out. Floria Electric does it the right way.

This is the first time that Im using Floria electric and it was a great experience working with them. A friend recommended them from Angies List. I needed some recessed lighting put over my bar and a couple of dimmer switches. Pat is very knowledgeable and was working with me to figure out the best way for the lighting. A hook up problem came up with one of the lights that drilling holes through the beams in the ceiling was the solution. I panicked but he didnt! He knew exactly what to do and got it done without missing a step and reassured me that it wasnt a problem. He explained everything that he was going to do before he did it which is something I like to know before its done. He also went above and beyond to spackle a different hole in my ceiling for me which I appreciated very much. I also asked if he could put in a couple of outlets for me and didnt hesitate to say yes. Pat is very patient and takes the time to explain things that have to be done and hes very knowledgeable and passionate about his work and tries his utmost best to help you in completing whatever it is that needs to be done. Soon after tropical storm Isaias hit, the power in my home kept going out for a minute or two and then would come back on and figured it was some sort of power surge and thought nothing of it at first. When it escalated to a point where I had to trip the circuit breaker and heard a disturbing sound while doing so, I went frantically searching for an electrician and Pat was the only one to respond right away. I explained my situation and needless to say, I reached out to him in the nick of time. Pat arrived at my home with an assistant right away on a Saturday night to do an emergency repair which resulted in him having to replace the electrical panel and install new wiring. Central AC went dead, Mr. Floria came by that day, checked the simplest thing first and that was it. He then checked my system which he said was running well and didnt need anything. No upsell.No big repair, no big bill. I hired him on the spot to do my annual checkup on the system. And, at my inquiry, I asked him to help me set up a generator in case of power loss which he gave me an inexpensive option that satisfies my needs.This is the guy for that.

I can’t recommend Floria Electric enough. We needed to upgrade our electric service and install many home run lines along with various other electrical upgrades. We met with and received estimates from 3 different electricians off Angies list. Pat’s prices were competitive and fair. I originally hired Pat to fix some issues discovered by my home inspection. He had the most reasonable estimate (~$3K-$4K). While on the job, Pat went above and beyond, identifying another $6K+ of necessary work, including many fire hazards that needed to be corrected. It was so much work that Pat and his team had to spend 4 days more than originally planned, on this house. I am so grateful that these fire hazards were discovered and fixed. Pat clearly cares about the well being of his clients, he also found many fire hazards in my parents home, my sisters home, and our family-friends! Thank god he did.

Pat is a fantastic electrician and HVAC professional. When we told him that we had found mold in our attic and the beams were saturated, he immediately suspected that our bathrooms below were the cause of the problem. He installed two bathroom exhaust fans with lights, switches, and exhaust systems.This was only a portion of our problem. Our upstairs windows had condensation on the inside of the window panes too. We figured it was the old windows that needed to be replaced, but Pat thoroughly studied our issue.Pat explained that our home faces South and coupled with our insulation lacking a vapor barrier and proper ventilation, this contributed to the excessive moisture that was accumulating on the cold areas. Pat remedied this with installing lower vents to improve ventilation. The windows were noticeably dry and Pat did not complete the job yet.He installed a gable fan and duct work controlled by humidistat and temp thermo-couple and summer-winter switch. His invoices were detailed to help understand the process and always patiently answered questions along the way.Lastly, at the completion of our job, he filmed a brief video demonstrating the switches to refer to and how and when to make changes with the seasons.
