    I highly recommend James as he showed up promptly to my home. He was very professional and communicative, very easy to talk to and although he came to replace the ridge cap on the roof, he saw many roof shingles missing and took initiative and replaced them for me without an additional charge. He is very conscientious and educated me about the remaining portion of the roof that needs replacing. Consequently, we have made plans for him to come back in the Spring to take care of it.

    We wanted much-needed work done one the exterior of the house: replacement of sections of wood siding and fascia, replacement of four windows and three exterior doors, new roof and gutters, and painting. James, Ed and all of their crews were great. They arrived on time and worked quickly but carefully. After a task was finished, they inspected it and it if was not up to their standards, corrected it. We had a couple of rain delays, but James stayed in touch so we were never left to wonder when work would start back again. If you want a job well done, hire these folks!

    I received great service and a quality roof replacement from Universal. James was extremely professional and thorough with the quote and other paperwork needed for the insurance claim. Then once the job started, the crew showed up on time daily until everything was done. They even replaced rotted wood and added extra flashing to prevent problems down the road. Our new roof look great. I highly recommend Universal Home Soln for your roofing needs .

    Fantastic experience with James and UHS. After a storm, I noticed a section of wood rotting near a gutter. I found UHS online and reached out because of the great reviews. I was not disappointed when James got back to me quickly and scheduled an assessment. He was very thorough and took pictures of all the sections that needed repair. When the time came for the work, James communicated when hed be at my home and constantly kept me updated on what he was doing. He diagnosed an issue with my current gutters and was honest about the severity and a realistic timeline on getting them replaced. I will definitely by using UHS when its time to replace the gutters. Highly recommend James and UHS if you want professional service in the Mint Hill / Matthews area.

    Universal home solutions was wonderful to work with. They came out quickly and provided an estimate, had great communication throughout scheduling, and completed the work professionally and with great quality. Everyone was so kind and informative. We had various work done including cleaning gutters, replacing downspouts, and repairing wood and trim rot. Everything looks fantastic and I would recommend James and his crew to anyone needing home repairs!

    Originally I contacted Universal Home Solutions to provide new gutters on my home. Their price was excellent and the product they showed me were higher quality than the other groups that I talked to. Their fabrication and installation crew was highly professional, quick and the final install looks amazing. (My neighbors agree and have mentioned how great the gutters look numerous times). Since that initial job I have had Universal back twice and both times they were communicative, quick, and the price was lower than I expected. Once was to repair a small gutter that was damaged by a falling limb; The second time was to repair flashing and wood damage from squirrels over a bay window copper roof cap. Universal is great for projects big and small and Dana was always very communicative, quick and extremely nice! Bid, invoice and payment system is fast and easy as well. 10/10 & Five Stars!     I gave UHS a 5 star rating even though I ended up not having my gutters replaced and a couple other things. For now just a money issue and having to have numerous trees removed from the back of my house. BUT, James was extremely responsive and replied to my quote request very fast and was out to my house the same day. These days it’s hard to just get someone to acknowledge your request. He gave a detailed quote. I will say it was more than I expected, but everything has gone up over the past few years. So while I can’t comment on any work done, his promptness, thorough explanations and detailed quote leads me to believe the work would have been first rate.

    Universal Home Solutions is one of the best companies I ever worked with to fix my house.They worked on my neighbor’s house before I call them. When I saw their professional staff and great work I decided to give them a call.At first they came in and inspect my house and gave me an estimate, then we scheduled a time for repair.They were on time. Their job was perfectly done. They clean up very well after finishing their job. The most important, their pricing was very fair.I would definitely call them if I need any repairs on my house and will recommend them to everyone to give them a call.

    Had chimney/facia repairs and gutters replaced. I am very pleased with both the quality of work and the professionalism from James. I decided on using UHS because the pricing seemed reasonable but more because the quote and communication from James was detailed and transparent which I greatly appreciated.

Universal Home Solutions is a local company thats been in the area for years. They stand behind their quality work and theres no concern with them being here today and gone tomorrow like many of the storm chasers. Great company highly recommend!

    We had a great experience with the whole team at Universal home solutions. Dana communicated everything clearly and answered all questions throughout the whole process , she was wonderful to work with .It was hard finding a good company to work with after the storm that did damage to our roof , some didn’t return our calls other did but didn’t come out to do the estimate , and the other company that came out told us we needed a new roof when it wasn’t necessary.Universal home solutions did a great job repairing our roof and they are the company I would recommend.

    Universal Home Solutions did a wonderful job on my mothers gutters at a VERY reasonable price! She thought she needed them replaced, but it turns out they had just come away from the house. They came out, took photos, cleaned them, repaired them and put in new brackets, they didnt even pressure her to replace the existing gutters, Highly Recommend!! Dana was super nice and very helpful. When she decides to get new gutters this is where she will call!

    A couple years ago we had Universal Home Solutions replace our roof and they did a complete, very professional job. So it was only natural that when I had some gutter guard work that I called them. They were again very prompt in redponding, professional and efficient in their work and cleanup.     Honestly, I’m so impressed by this company I’m not sure how to put it into words but here goes: from the initial quotation in April to the final installation in July (more on that later), the entire process was professional, but without pressure. James and his team are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and eager to share tips and advice. We had our gutters replaced by his team, but they have expertise in Roofing as well as carpentry and when it’s time to replace our roof, I’ll CERTAINLY be using his company. Regarding our long lead time, it was actually delayed by the birth of our daughter on April 5th, which spending those first few weeks at home with our newborn, we realized that we also needed to replace our windows as well as paint the entire exterior and trim since the home likely hadn’t had its trim repainted since 1986 when the home was built. James was understanding and more than willing to work with us in our unique situation and his ability to coordinate with the other two companies (Zen Windows and A Plus Painting) was outstanding! After all work was completed by all 3 companies, we feel like we have an entirely new home and couldn’t be happier! Highly recommended!

    Just completed work with UHS, I couldnt be happier with the outcome. James took care of soffit and eaves issues that occurred over the years, put new gutters on the majority of the home (along with gutter guards), replaced old/outdated gutter guards on the back of the home, installed flashing and deflectors where appropriate. Overall very happy with the work performed and would highly recommend UHS!

    I saw a crew from Universal Home Solutions cleaning gutters at a neighbors house. I spoke to my friends. Their neighbor had referred Universal and they told me about the great job the techs were doing and they were going to order leaf filters for the gutters. I called Universal and spoke to Dana. She checked with the nearby tech and emailed a quote for which I accepted. Though unable to fit my job into the schedule that afternoon she said she would contact me. She called about three weeks later and had a tech, Jamen, come by that afternoon. Jamen worked on our two story house. He was on a ladder and hand bagged debris and tightened any loose screws on all gutters. Well organized and thorough. Dana followed up after the work was completed. Excellent experience from start to finish

The previous work that was done in past was does incorrectly and the Universal Home Solutions team corrected it and made it better!     If you’re looking for a reliable and affordable gutter replacement and repair company, I highly recommend Universal Home Solutions. I have met with James in person several times and he’s a great guy. They will be able to beat the big competitors on price and do just as good of a job if not better. I’m all about supporting local businesses and these guys are family owned and operated and will treat you like family when you do business with them.We got several quotes for gutter repair from other companies in the area and universal not only gave us the lowest price, they talked us out of an expensive replacement that another company was trying to push on us.     I was referred to UHS from another real estate agent and so glad for the referral. Ive had multiple jobs done with Universal Home Solutions since then for my investment homes, my clients homes, and family home (mainly roofing/gutter/wood rot repairs). Were all very happy with the work quality, the timeliness of the crew, and the wonderful service that Dana, James, and team provide. They gave me detailed quotes with a list of a la carte items and pricing. I choose what I decide to do now or later which is super convenient and budget friendly. They also allow me to make special requests based on my needs. I work on a very tight schedule and conscientious of my budget but so far theyve come thru for me. UHS provide great quality work (which is hard to find nowadays) and at reasonable pricing. I highly recommend! I would give 6 stars if I could but 5 is the max! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    Universal home did a great job on my home. In 2016 they did a minor job on my gutters, but most recently they changed my roof. They came out right away and put a tarp on my roof to avoid any damage inside my home. They assessed the damage and gave me a competitive price that a couple of of other vendors couldnt meet. When we agreed on the terms they gave me a date and came out on time and finished early. Crew was professional and curtiouse. They cleened up my yard from any loos metals and made sure nothing was left behind. All in all i would recommend them for your home, and will definitly use them again if needed.

    The Company handled the replacing of the roof very professionally. The owner came at the time the Insurance Adjustor inspected the roof. He made sure from the time the Insurance Adjustor came, until the job was completed that communications were maintained. His people who handled the instillation, were extremely professional and removed all debris during and after the job was completed. He personally supervised each day the work being completed.

    What a great experience. I had some shingles blow off the peak of my home during the storms last week. I reached out to a different roofing company originally and they didn’t return my calls and kept putting me off maybe because the job wasn’t big enough for them, I’m not sure.
