Joseph, the owner, was first to respond to my request via Yelp. He was prompt & very communicative throughout the process from start to finish. He knows what he is doing and I feel like he does what is right for his clients. His prices were also very reasonable & fair.I initially hired him to install a hard-wired charger for my EV9 vehicle, and ended up using them again to replace and install two very large chandeliers for over 12 ceilings in my home. Im super happy with both jobs, and would recommend this business to anyone looking for a reliable, transparent & skilled electrician.

Very happy with the service. Joe actually came to my house to do the estimate, rather than do it on a zoom call. His price was competitive. He was able to start within a week, and he got it all done in one day as promised. I had messed up some 3 way switch wiring, Joseph showed up as scheduled, looked at what I had , explained the cost, I gave go ahead and Joseph corrected what I messed up. Joseph is a very good electrician with a smile on his face. I would not hesitate to use him and his company again.

First let me say how pleased I am with the work performed by Sovereign Electric. I was searching for an Electrical Contractor to install a switch so I can run power throughout my home durning a power outage. I called upon a few contractors, but couldnt get a response back for 2 days. I called Sovereign, they answered the phone. I spoke with Joe, and he sent me a qoute the same day. The numbers met my budget, so I chose them. They came out within 3 days and Austin and his crew did a fantastic job!They showed up on time and went to work right away. Austin explained everything in detail to me and took his time.Should I have further needs, I will only call them. They have earned my trust. A quality company all around!!

He and his crew member (Austin?) did a great job installing a subpanel, a dedicated circuit for the sump pump, and recessing wires throughout our basement into the ceiling joists. Joe is such a GEM!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANY ELECTRIC needs.He worked with my husband earlier this year and installed an outlet for our new generator to hook into our electric panel. Everything was great and ready for an outage-- fast forward to today when the power went out and I was home with 2 kids and the power was out! I wasnt apart of the process of install and I couldnt figure out how to get it all hooked up and my husband sent me Joes number,I gave Joe a ring - he answered right away, dropped what he was doing and was of immediate service. Joe Fortygin is the consummate professional. He was able to squeeze me in earlier than was previously scheduled. Upon arrival to install my EVSE for my EV car, all I had to do was point to where on the wall I wanted the unit installed. In under 2 hours, not only was the unit installed but when we plugged it in there wasnt a single thing out of sync. The car started charging and now, 4 hours later, Im back up to 80%. If you need any electrical work done around the home or office, Joe is the guy. I would especially recommend Joe for EVSE installation due to his vast experience with them and the speed for which the work gets professionally done. Thanks Joe!

I highly recommend Sovereign Electric.We’re building an ADU behind a rental home. This required upgrading the 1969 panel in the existing rental from 200amp to 300amp, installing a new meter and then connecting, installing a new panel on the ADU and of course the wiring of the home.The owner, Joe, is an experienced expert. From the start, the estimate was detailed, explained and very reasonable. Joe quickly installed the upgrade panel and later the meter without inconvenience to our renters, which was fantastic. BIG job. Rewired entire house, along with new panel. Installed can lights throughout the entire home, wiring for outlets and bathroom fans, like I said its a big job. Joe and the guys did a great job. Fast. Kept me in the loop. Did what they said they would do. Ive been living here for 3 years already and have yet to have a single problem. My family and I feel secure knowing everything was done up to spec. House wont burn down or anything... it feels good to hire the right guys!
