Nick Elving is a gem. I contacted 3 electricians for a panel replacement. Two of the three gave me estimates without even visiting. Nick showed up and inspected the existing panel along with the satellite one in a detached garage, made sure those connections and wiring were correct and suggested we do a little more with some upgrades while replacing the main panel. Nick does the work himself, every connection, every detail. His work is meticulous, clean, tidy and just impressive. When the city inspector arrived he said I see Elving did this, the best. Talk about a vote of confidence from someone in his industry! Dont hesitate if you need a fine electrician, you will be impressed.

He installed the hookup and outlet exactly how I wanted it and routed the conduits where it looked great! As part of the remodeling of my 50 year old house, Nick replaced the electric service panel, bringing it up-to-date. It looks great and works as it should—much safer now with AFCI and GFCI.He also added a new 220V circuit+outlet for a new range, along with a half dozen new 120V circuits+outlets for a new kitchen island and other appliances.All work was done well. Nick is honest, very knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He even went out of his way to add a circuit and outlet for my garage door opener, without extra charge, when I mentioned it in passing.I’m very happy with the work he did for me.

I reached out to Elving Electric for a quote on a transfer switch installation for my generator. Nick came by the day after to access what was required for the task. I received a quote, was extremely happy with the estimate so I agreed to move forward with the install and within a week maybe two. an electrician was sent over to do the install. Their electrician not only installed what I needed but also educated me on proper usage for safety reasons. Overall I am very pleased with their level of professionalism, knowledge and customer service. 10/10 would recommend this company to anyone looking for a good electrician for a fair price

I can’t say enough about these guys! Fast, professional, priced right… they actually called to ask is they could arrive a little early, which was great for us! Nick set up everything for us over the phone, explained the process clearly, and gave us a quote quickly. A day later, Jason came out to our house and installed a car charger for our new electric car. All we had to do was tell him where we wanted it and he took care of the rest. One flat fee upfront, no hidden costs or anything. The work Jason did was great! It looks seamless with our house, and he had no issues working it into our electrical panel. Jason was done in just a couple hours. He provided all the forms we would need for the inspector and for our taxes. This was our first time using Elving Electric. My appointment was at 10 and Nick called to let me know he was going to be a little late to get supplies from Home Depot ahead of time for a 240V install. Once he arrived he was very informative with what he intended to do with the install upon looking at what I needed done. I already had an EV charger that I wanted installed and he was very helpful with informing me on local incentives that the electrical company could offer me for having a plug in EV. His work was of outstanding quality and he even mounted my EV charger. After talking with him I found out that it was just him and his small business which was pretty awesome. DeAndre and Crimson City Electrical are my quarantine heros!I purchased a new house with a small hot tub in the back yard, something Ive wanted my entire adult life! But from the moment I moved into the house, the hot tub didnt work. The installation was a myriad of weird electrical consisting of spliced cords and power strips, a timer, and this hot mess was plugged into a standard electrical outlet. The hot tub required 14 amps to run the jets, however he previous owners thought it would be a good idea to use a standard, non-grounded 15-amp outlet to plug the hot tub in, which resulted in the breakers being tripped any time you attempted to use it.DeAndre from Crimson City Electrical come out on a preliminary visit, assessed the situation, and came up with a plan, not only to ensure that the existing hot tub was code compliant, but that any upgrades in the future would be accommodated. He added a 20-amp breaker in my panel for the current hot tub, and additional 30-amp breaker for future upgrades, ran conduit to the back of the house, and installed an emergency shut off switch. The work was completed over 2-days, on time and within the budget we discussed. The crew treated me and my home with respect and care, cleaning up after themselves every step of the way.I highly recommend them and will definitely be calling them for all future electrical work around my home.

Nick is one of the most pleasant business owners I’ve ever worked with. He was collaborative during the bid process to understand what my needs were, and how to accomplish them. I had an internal 2-panel 400 amp service that could NOT be brought up to code at its current installation location and it was a fire hazard preventing any other contractors from tying into it.Nick came out and put in 2 VERY LONG days on a Friday and Saturday (12+ hours each day) to make sure the install was done quickly, while keeping quality and aesthetics in mind.
