    I thought we needed a leaky toilet fixed because the water bill was high. It ended up being a toilet repair *and* a water service leak. After a locator service pinpointed the leak, Cahills crew was able to come fix everything quickly. I cant say enough about the consistently excellent, professional service this company has provided over many years.

    I have installed water heaters before but I needed it done quickly for a tenant while I was out of town.     Amazing response time for a leak in the water line between our water meter and house. They had someone out within an hour of our first contact who was able to provide suggestions. The next day we had the leak located and by the third day a trench had been dug in our front yard and the pipes repaired. They filled the trench in and you can barely tell! Attached are pics of the leak as located, the trench when it was dug and the trench when it was filled in. Excellent service will definitely use again and recommend.

    I canā€™t say enough positive things about the team over at Cahillā€™s Plumbing and Heating. They were professional, friendly, responsive and very reasonably priced! I will definitely be reaching out to them in the future for all of my plumbing needs.Weā€™d initially reached out to multiple plumbers to get an estimate to install a macerating toilet in our basement. Multiple companies tried to upsell us and all of their estimate were more than 100% more than Cahillā€™s bid. Not only did Cahillā€™s provide excellent service and did quality work, but they got the entire job done in one day where other companies told us it would take multiple days. They kept us informed throughout the entire process and weā€™re very transparent when they had to get additional materials for our unique job.If you live in the South End and want to support a family run business who wonā€™t try to price gouge you and are very skilled at their jobs, I highly recommend Cahillā€™s Plumbing & Heating!

    Ive used Cahill Plumbing twice now and had what I consider an exceptional experience both times.     Russ and his crew have been super responsive helping us to fix multiple systems - water pipes, water heater, furnace and AC after our hot water pipe burst early last December (2023).First of all, his crews are very responsive, know their areas of expertise and communicate solutions to the problems they diagnose in your systems.Cahills plumbers were out to diagnose the problem with the hot water leak and they determined that it was not only the area that burst that had issues - there were pin hole leaks developing throughout my network of pipes in the crawlspace. Instead of just fixing the immediate problem, Russ sent out his brother, Riley, to assess the pipe situation in our house. In the end, Cahill plumbing replaced the crawl space pipes. The crew that came out to do this was fast and did great work finishing the job in 2 days instead of the 3 day estimate.The day after the pipes were replaced, Russ sent out Steve to install our new tankless water heater. Again, very professional and courteous. We could not be more pleased with the installation which replaced two 50 gallon hot water tanks.As for our furnace/AC system, Cahill had to remove the old system and ducting which had been damaged by the hot water pipe leak and then install a new system in its place. This process required some very hard work from Alex and his crew. They did the removal of ducting in a very tight crawlspace in a very short period of time. This allowed another Cahill crew to come in (Ricardo and son) to put in new ducting and setup the final HVAC crew to do the installation of the new furnace and AC.So, Beau and Brian did the installation of the furnace this past week amid this ice storm and I could not be more pleased with having heat in my home again.Thanks Cahill for all your hard work. I will be calling you again for all our HVAC and plumbing needs.

    We have used a variety of plumbing services over the last 30 years and are very pleased to have found Cahills. They have serviced us twice in the last two years, both times impressing us with their responsiveness, quality of work, friendliness, professionalism and value for money.     I 100% recommend this company from my three experiences with them! Iā€™ve been nothing but happy and impressed!The first time, I looked around Google and found someone I thought had good reviews and called because I had water leaking through my wall into the living room. I got a message back from Russell Cahill, and he was ready to send someone over immediately (it was night). I ended up being able to wait til morning from a few suggestions from Russell and saved money on a night call. They sent people right away in the morning, and they ended up installing a new water line under the house for my fridge water and installing a recessed shutoff valve (forgive me if I donā€™t know the right terminology) for the fridge because whoever installed it before I bought the house did everything wrong. The guys who came were so nice too!Fast forward to this summer when I got a call from the Covington water district saying I had had water running every hour for 7 days. In a panic, I texted Russell and he walked me through a ton of things I could do to try to solve it or narrow it down on my own. I ended up solving the issue (a leaky toilet) all on my own and save hundreds of $$$ thanks to him.Last week, I realized my water pressure was low. I walked through everything I had learned this summer and figured out that the leak was under my driveway and it was a doozy. In another panic, I texted Russell and he walked me through how to locate and shut the water off at the street all saving me more money, so I didnā€™t need a weekend call just to shut off the water. He also gave me someone to call to find the leak so they could come afterwards. As soon as the other company pinpointed the leak, Russell had people out the next day. They had to dig up a portion of the driveway and replace a portion of the pipe. The plumbers were also really nice and answered lots of questions from me.Overall, I canā€™t compare because I havenā€™t called any other plumbers, but my friends have all thought my charges were really reasonable. Iā€™m also just grateful for the money Iā€™ve saved, the new plumbing knowledge I have, and the peace of mind Iā€™ve had. I canā€™t recommend them enough!!

    Cahill Plumbing is fantastic! We had a leak in the ceiling of our basement family room and Russell was able to get us on the schedule same-day. Dave and Justin arrived on time and were super professional and friendly. They quickly detected and repaired the problem pipe. Pricing for service was very fair. We will definitely use Cahill again the next time we need plumbing work!

    Jason & Harry completed the job quickly & professionally. Diagnosed problem immediately. Very neat & clean work. They replaced the pipes under my bathroom vanity. Prior plumbers used metal pipes & an L shaped p-trap. Plumbers showed me the old pipes after removal. Early signs of rust inside the pipes & yucky clogs. They were very pleasant & did a thorough inspection to ensure no leaks in the crawl space. Ive used Cahills before & have been completely satisfied. The job took about an hour & was a simple fix. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for! Highly recommend.

    Jason and Harry came out to the house today. They were extremely respectful of my home, they made sure to where footies. They had Mohen brushed stainless faucets available on their truck so that they could immediately replace my leaky faucets. They tracked down my cracked pipe that happened during the winter and explained to me what I should do next winter so it wouldnt happen again. While fixing the toilets that all had issues where they would keep running, Jason decided to re-caulk the bathroom sink. Totally outstanding work.

    Great service from Cahills. Their phones werent working but I used the online form and Russell called me right back. Had two repairpersons out to my place based on my schedule. They were really nice, professional and took care of my wood floors when they did the work. The repair looks excellent. I would definitely use them next time. I used them on a different house a few years ago and the repair person noticed something wasnt right about my toilet plumbing and showed me what was going on and improved it.

    We have used Cahillā€™s plumbing for many projects over several years. Projects range from small to large, a couple hours to several days. All the guys are professional and friendly, and do a great job. The costs are reasonable for a company that you expect to do an excellent job every time. These guys are highly recommended.

    We had a leaky tankless water heater. They came within 30 min of calling and even called the manufacturer on my behalf. After advising me on multiple options they replaced my heater and cleaned up all within an hour. Steve was so professional and kind, a wonderful asset to the company.     Jason was courteous with his text letting me know he and Harry were on their way. They were on time, they were prepared and very personable. They were no hassle, no gimmicks, they cleaned up and did exactly what we needed. I had hose bibs that were leaking.     Last night the kitchen sink backed up. After trying boiling water, then plunging this morning, I decided it was time to call in the professionals. I found Cahillā€™s Plumbing website, called, and within 30 minutes two polite and friendly guys were at my house, masks on.Well, there were a few issues to resolve, including some sub-par pipes under the sink. But they rooted out the problem, showed me how I could solve the problem myself in the future, and were on their way within about an hour. The amount they charged seemed reasonable. Iā€™d definitely call these guys again first for future plumbing needs.

    We discover our downstairs bathroom/washroom baseboard was swollen. Called Cahills and Russell answered the call. Promised me he will have his guys visit my place with in 2 hours which they did. Cahills technician Tanner and Austin are true professionals. Quickly identified the issue and went to work right away. Our builder put a nail in our waste pipe while nailing the baseboard. Took them only an hour to fix it. If you have a plumbing issue, give them a call!

    These guys were amazing! We had the plastic water intake valve behind the toilet burst and spray water everywhere at 4am. after cleaning up the mess we called Cahills at about 6:45am and they arrived by 8:30am to fix the valve, which took them like 15 minutes. I asked them about doing all of the valves in the house (16 total) and they agreed to come back at noon to do all of them. At exactly noon they were back at my house and had all the valves changed out in less than 2 hours. They were friendly, clean, polite, and provided excellent customer service. Jason and Harry were the team that came to my house and I would highly recommend them. And thanks to Russell, the owner, for giving us a great deal on the work his team did. We will be calling on Cahills for any future plumbing needs.

    Highly recommend! I used Cahills in the past and was happy so when I discovered a leaking hose bib they were my first call. Called at 7 AM the day before Thanksgiving expecting to get an appointment for the next week. Nope, Jason and Harry were at my house by 12:15 that day! They replaced the hose bib and a shut off valve Jason discovered to be leaking in 45 minutes and were on their way.     Having to call a plumber is not a fun experience, but Jason and Harry made it far less painful. They were respectful, thoughtful, meticulous. My kitchen was cleaner when they left than when they arrived, with a bonus of some caulking around the kitchen sink. The job was to repair the upstairs leaky shower. It was a more difficult job than it should have been due to the original installation, but they handled it well. I would not hesitate to recommend Cahills plumbing. This is the third time I have used them, and have to say that Jason and Harry were the best.

    Our water heater died and I called them for a replacement. They came out the next day (Sunday) and spent about 3 hours completing the job, including leaving to pick up the new water heater. All around I found them to be very friendly and professional. The job they did appears to my laymen eyes to be well done. The only downside was the expense. With tax the total was over $2,000, which is quite a lot for a basic 50 gallon gas water heater. In hindsight I wish Id invested more time shopping around for somebody who could provide a more reasonable price.

    Our water heater went out and was flooding our garage. We called them and they were to our home within 25 minutes!!! The replaced our water heater, upgraded the plumbing and removed our old water heater in less than 3 hours.     Im really, really happy I followed my septic contractors (McNels) advice and called Cahills. They got out here so quick. Even though what I thought was just a simple line snake turned into a much bigger job, they were great.     Beau generously came out after hours to help with a furnace issue I was having. Another big name company had come out 2 days prior and told us the whole furnace needed to be replaced and we wanted a second opinion after seeing the estimate. Beau came out and was very informative and respectful and understanding of my frustration. He was able to get the furnace fixed within minutes (it did NOT need to be replaced) and after 4 days without heat, my kids and I have heat again (not to mention the thousands of dollars saved).Thank you, Beau!!

    We had a clogged drain in our kitchen sinks and Jason from Cahills came to fix the sinks. He was professional and did an excellent, quick and thorough job.     Jason & Harry came out today to fix a kitchen faucet & pipe leak. They called 30 min before to let us know they were on their way, they were friendly, professional, efficient, knowledgeable. They replaced the piping under the sink, replaced the kitchen faucet. Fair pricing as well. Everything works great! Impressed and will use Cahills again! Thank you for the great service!

    I cant recommend Cahill Plumbing highly enough. They charge fairly, know their trade and can easily troubleshoot, and prioritize customers based on need of the job. We have a complicated hydronic heating system that most plumbers in the area wouldnt touch. Steve and Russell came out on a snowy day (they had to park two blocks away due to the hill/ice), as we had no heat or hot water. They came up with a temporary solution so we could get heat right away, and then came back the next week with a permanent fix. I was impressed by their professionalism and am sold on having found the best plumber in the region.

Russell Cahill has a great team of plumbers working for him and they were very thorough in explaining what they would do, what price they thought it would be right before starting work, fast and efficient, and helpful in assessing what we could do next (to fix the wet wood).     The two plumbers that came out to install our new water heater were very professional, thorough, and amiable. The price was a bit up there but the install was quick and they made zero mess.Im not sure I will use Cahills services again. Originally, in 2021, I called then emailed them to inquire about re-installing a garbage disposal, faucet, and gas stove disconnect and reconnect after a counter top installation. The call and email didnt go too well. When I ask for an estimate by email for this I got a response saying Ok roughly & $7-900. I figured they were stressed and that was the reason for that kind of response. Deciding that they may have too much work I called another plumber and was able to have the work done for around $400.A year later I emailed Russell Cahill, reminded him that I had contacted them last year and requested a quote for the water heater. This time he texted me with a quick quote and ask for a photo of the current water heater. He seemed less stressed and gave me more information this time and I set the appointment.I prefer to support local businesses and being that Cahill is just down the road from my house I thought this fit the bill. Id like to be able to call a company I am considering hiring and not feel like a bother when I ask for an estimate. Hopefully, communications with potential customers will improve and for them and I can hire them to do our plumbing work.Based on what the two guys, that came out for the water heater install, were able to accomplish and their entire demeanor, I would hire them again with no hesitation. But based on the initial experience I had in getting a quote, Im not inclined to do that so much. Nice water heater though!

    Just had Jason and Harry out to fix my shower. These guys were incredible. Called on Monday, they were there Tuesday morning. Very clean and neat. Very efficient, only about 2 hours start to finish. Shower looks and works great. Even found a problem with our sink and helped me resolve it. Very nice guys. Would absolutely use them again if I needed a plumber. Doubt youll be disappointed. Ask for Jason and Harry.
