    This was our first time using AME to repair a sewer line break. Following our call, the estimator arrived quickly. After inspection of the problem, we knew exactly what would be done, the cost, and when work would start. Scheduling was quick and accurate. The repair required digging and cutting a hole through basement cinder blocks with replacement/connection of pipe inside and outside. The crew arrived with plenty of resources to handle the job. Each crew member was polite, professional, neat, and hardworking. We are very happy with the work and certainly recommend AME!

    All good things to say about this local company. Purchased a new property in Point Pleasant that needed all the grey water plumbing inside and outside replaced (the sewer line). Worked with Nicole regarding planning, she was professional and had great follow up throughout the process. She helped expedite our permit due to the urgency of the problems and inability to use the water. Mark was professional, also worked to prioritize our job due to necessity. Everything was done on time, for the fair price quoted, with a nice crew who communicated well and respected a few requests we had during the process. Mark was present on our job. Dustin and Angel worked our job and professionally considered our future plumbing plans with the interior pipe layout for a future restroom. Both pleasant, professional guys.     I cannot say enough great things about my recent experience with AME. I had a huge project. My 100 year old house needed a completely new waste pipe and water line, requiring complete excavation to access the pipes. Matt was the project manager who oversaw the work, permits and every detail. He kept my anxiety in check. Mark the owner was available and on site .     When you are raced with an emergency situation. You hope and pray that you find the right contractor to get you thru the problem and back to normal. Well. That’s what happened when I choose AME Plumbing. They were the answer. We need a new water from the street to our house. We met Tom from AmE. He came out to evaluate the situation. He was knowledgeable of the problem. He was able to address the emergency situation and promised to install new water line the next. We had one other quote which was about $2500 higher than AME. THE AME team showed up the next day as promised and All went extremely well. The contractor kept us well informed and were concerned for our problem. We have a new water line and all is well.     I called AME after losing hot water over a weekend. Found their number, along with some others, on a local community FB page. Left messages at a few companies that never returned calls. AME call center answered right away and had a technician out to my house within a few hours. Troubleshooting ensued over the next few days which involved replacing some older plumbing pipes in the basement and eventually led to the replacement of the water heater which was only a few years old. I worked with Tom the entire time, who was completely accessible, giving me his cell phone number, sending technicians with different expertise, and reviewing all options and costs with transparency through a multi day ordeal. As my original unit was still under warranty, he called the manufacturer to try and obtain free replacement parts and discussed the options clearly vs installing a new unit. All of their technicians were knowledgeable, on time to their estimates, and worked with a sense of urgency. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing these services, and they will be my first call for any future needs.

    Mark and the entire AME were amazing! The job they did was complete, on time, neat, and professional. Highly recommend! Our sewer line broke under our porch necessitating them digging a hole beyond the porch then creating a hole in our porch and digging down to replace the line. When job was completed you would never know they were there accept for the hole in the porch which will be repaired by mason in a few weeks when ground is fully settled. Accomplished task in 1 day in extreme heat! They even added an access pipe in case of any future issues. Thank you for turning a very bad experience into something positive!     We had a great experience with AME. They installed several spigots for us. They were extremely timely, out to give an estimate that day and scheduled the work within a few days. The man doing the actual work was extremely mindful about closing our basement door behind him as we have small kids that could easily take a tumble down the stairs. They also gave us a great price and I would highly recommend them to others.

    I wish every home service company had the same quality and commitment to excellence as AME plumbing. I hired AME to replace the pipes from the street to my house. (big job) I had a lot of questions and concerns, and from the first meeting, the owner, Mark, patiently answered my questions and explained the job and the scope of the work to be done. I was pleased with the reasonable quote and the easy scheduling. Not only was the job done well, but the workers were pleasant and left the site organized and clean. I hired AME a second time when I needed a plumber to check on plumbing in my basement prior to a new boiler installation. Not only did AME owner Mark professionally assess the pipes so that the boiler installation could be completed, but he noticed a problem with the pitch on one of my pipes. He quickly got me on the schedule and pipe was replaced correctly. From the smell of the stagnant water in the old pipe, I knew that a future disaster was an averted. I highly recommend AME plumbing.

    We had a bit of a plumbing emergency in our new home. After calling AME, we had someone at our house within an hour. Angel was kind, informative and super helpful.     I have nothing but praise for Mark, Tom and their crew. They came to install sewer and water lines in the most horrendous conditions. The recent heavy rains left my entire yard under water but they were more than qualified to deal with the issues nature presented to them. Their price was more than fair, their work ethic and quality were above and beyond the norm for most companies. Do not ever hesitate to call AME for repairs. You definitely will not be disappointed.     Absolutely fantastic company. They arrived promptly, kept us informed of the process every step of the way, and pricing was more than fair! You can tell that they abide by a policy of leaving a place better than they found it, which is tough to do in their line of work. We had a second pipe issue reveal itself the day after our initial work was completed (not a result of their work, just very old pipes) and they answered our after-hours call without hesitation and had someone to us within hours.     We recently discovered a leak from our primary shower down into our laundry room. It turned into a major repair: remove & replace shower pan, repair subfloor, mold remediation, remove & replace ceiling in laundry room. In addition, they took care of some shoddy plumbing issues from a prior renovation, installed new flooring and a new toilet in the bathroom. Tom from AME handled all coordination of the repairs.     God Bless Mark and his straight forward honesty. The water pressure in my home suddenly dropped. He came on a Sunday and thought it was my water line that needed to be fixed. He was honest and upfront about the price and showed up Monday morning to do the work. He came into the house a second time to check the water meter before doing any work and checked all of my sinks. Immediately he realized that I needed new screens in my sinks instead of a water line repair. He charged me nothing! I cannot describe my gratitude for his honesty and sincerity.     James came out to our home and took a look at our sump pump which had stopped working during a recent rainstorm. The sump pump works fine and looked like a simple malfunction at the wrong time(!). Though now working, I wanted a plumber to check to ensure no real issues. James looked at our sump and confirmed it was in working order but down the road he recommended to replace. I appreciated his honesty and that he didnt right away have the mentality of replacing which wouldve been a lot of $$$. While at my house he also repaired a toilet. Whats great about him is that he is quick and transparent. Well definitely use AME again and will recommend James to be the tech.

    Well where to begin, I guess at the beginning. Received our water bill in the mail this past Saturday, to our surprise it was not our normal $45 bill, $238 then we looked at the usage 34,000 gal in one month. I panicked. OK, I originally called them this past summer when my A/C kicked in August and my normal HVAC folks couldnt send a technician for five days.     I have used AME twice in the past month due to a series of unfortunate events with getting new floors installed that caused two separate leaks in my pipes. In both situations they responded quickly. The first situation we knew where the leak was since my floors where up and getting replaced. The hammering etc caused a supply line joint to come loose. AME sent James that day and he repaired the leak. The second leak occurred weeks later and was due to a nail hole from the baseboard installation in the pvc pipe. This required locating the leak and leak repair. James did an excellent job in diagnosing and fixing the problem. Hopefully this is the end of the saga with leaky pipes from my hardwood floor installation. Highly recommend AME!

    I highly recommend using AME pluming. I had noticed a leak in my shower that was causing water to run down the interior of my wall. With the current situation I was apprehensive about having someone in my home but I knew that this problem could possibly cause alot of damage. When I called the office they were incredibly helpful with scheduling an emergency appointment as well as explaining how they would conduct a safe estimate. The technician arrived on time and stuck to the social distancing guidelines that were discussed when my appointment was made. Turns out all that needed to be replaced was a fitting and not a pipe as I orginally feared. AME was honest with the repairs and did not try to sell me on something I did not need. They were respectful of my property and left the area just as clean as it was before they arrived. AME will be my first call for all future pluming needs.

    Excellent service. They came out the next day well within the scheduled arrival time. The issue was quickly assessed and a solution was presented. I was given pricing up front (which also matched what I was quoted over the phone) before any work was performed. Once I agreed to the pricing they got right to work on fixing my clogged sewer line.     Professional and quality work. From the moment you meet them for a walk-through/quote, they are professional and put my mind at ease. I had to get my sewer and water line replaced in its entirety and Mark and his team made the work as seamless as possible. I received constant notification of any new uodates and their staff is always available and willing to help and answer any and all questions we had. We dealt with so many inconsistent, unreliable, and subpar plumbers.     I had closed my main water line prior to going on vacation. When I came back, I could not get it to turn back on. I called them and dispatch contacted the tech right away and provided me with a 3 hour window of his arrival. He came at the early end of that window and fixed the issue right away.     Ive used AME on numerous occasions. Theyve always shown up on time and on point. They are professional, honest, and highly economic. They are willing to work with you to diagnose, fix, and see to the issue all the way through to completion. We were having drain issues in our master tub, and were expecting that things would need to be disassembled and a probable mess was on our hands, that being said, in 15 minutes my daughters small toy was removed from the drain pipe and we were back to normal draining in no time at all. I was ready to rip out the tub until I called AME and they saved me a ton of money, time, and aggrivation!

    My water main sprung a leak and began to flood my basement. Mark from AME came to my house that night to survey the situation and helped make sure everything was under control before he went home to his wife and kids. He showed up the next morning at 8am ahead of schedule with two extra hands and began to dig and trace this leak down. This was no easy task by any stretch of the imagination.. tho Mark and his team were relentless and we eventually made the call to put a new run in place. The best news was - I had running water that night and couldnt have been more thankful! He coordinated all the inspections and was there the very next day with the inspector and once it cleared he and his team began to return my lawn, gardens, and sidewalk back to normal. His craftsmanship, dedication, and authenticity truly make his company stand out in the crowd. Not only is he professional, but hes a genuine, down to earth guy, who isnt afraid to get dirty when the going gets tough... and hey if you play your cards right you may even end up with a guy you can call a friend at the end of the day.
