    Great experience, Evolved Mechanical is very knowledgable and professional throughout the process. We had a mini split system replaced and expanded. The initial consult was informative, pricing was competitive, and the install crew was efficient, high quality, and clean.     Highly recommend this family run business. They are incredibly responsive, flexible, knowledgeable and professional. We had some issues with split units installed by a different HVAC company a few years prior and Evolved was able to come out quickly. They were INCREDIBLY thorough and honest with their assessment and recommendation. They were able to fix the issue and our splits have been working great all summer.     I highly recommend Evolved Mechanical LLC! I had a Mitsubishi mini split installed. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was extremely impressed with the installers. They came is 2 nicely marked trucks and all 3 installers had on matching shirts..So professional, polite and friendly! They finished the job neatly and efficiently in less time than promised.

    Our daughter recommended Evolved Mechanical to install mini splits for us in our new home in Andover. We put in two in the main living spaces, and liked them so much that we put three more in -- one in each bedroom.Dave came out in each case and looked at what we wanted and then Owen and Cody worked on the installs. We were impressed by their professionalism and also by how quickly they were able to get to us and also to get the work done. We did these in two sets as I mentioned. In each case it was less than 10 days between phone call to ask about an install and the install being completed. All the guys we worked with in whatever capacity were professional, friendly, and competent. We had a great experience!

    We hired Evolved mechanical for a big project on our old house. The project included oil-to-gas conversion, adding central A/C, a second thermostat zone and replacing the old oil-fired furnace with a new high-efficiency wall-hung boiler, which also allowed us to replace the electric water heater with an indirect hot water storage tank. The whole project spanned about four months with some weeks when we were away for vacation. Everyone on the team from Evolved Mechanical did an excellent job seeing the project through to a satisfying conclusion. Monica from the front office helped submit MassSave equipment rebates. Zoran and Luis did an impressive job adding new vents in the plaster ceilings for the new second zone as well as to plan with me and install minimally invasive ductwork in the attic. Kevin, Josh, and Eric did tidy and professional plumbing install work in the basement and ran a hot water line up to the attic through an old duct. Chico did a great job with electrical, finding and correcting wiring issues while providing new circuits. The whole install team was courteous and professional. I would highly recommend Evolved Mechanical for this kind of project. They have the breadth of expertise among their team to tackle various heating and cooling projects in older homes.

    I recently had the pleasure of working with Jason. From the onset, he was exceptionally prompt at responding to our inquiry - our central air unit stopped working in the middle of a heat wave, so we needed support immediately. What stood out the most was his patience in explaining the issue. He was able to replace our dual capacitor immediately!     My AC went out yesterday (during the hottest day, of course!) and I put in a call to Monica at Evolved Mechanical and sure enough got a text and call early the next day that they would send a technician out to help. Jason showed up and was able to diagnose, recommend a fix and have the part delivered to our house by another employee in very short order and the AC is functional again. He was also able to check the other units we have and do some maintenance (as part of the plan we signed up for) and provide tips on how to maintain efficiency and function. He was also training a new tech at the time and so was explaining everything very thoroughly and patiently. I highly recommend them for any of your services related to heating and cooling.

    Of course we discover in a heatwave that our A/C is in need of repair both at the air handler AND the compressor level! So thankful for ETHAN who did a great job diagnosing, explaining, and FIXING our problems. And MONICA in the office is ON IT!     I had a great experience with this company last week. They sent someone out within 24 hours to assess and quote, and then my boiler was fixed the very next morning.     I had an issue with my Samsung Mini split systems just as we were coming into summer. Of course the issue occurred on a Friday at 5pm. Jason was super quick and had us back in business so quickly. Their service could not be better.

    Our older water heater was at the end of life and was leaking. Evolved Mechanical was able to get here in a matter of days to replace the old water heater with a more energy efficient heat pump water heater. Mike and Ethan were excellent. Great communicators and did a really neat job. Couldnt recommend them more highly. Weve used Evolved Mechanical before and will continue to do so in the future.

    The AC repairers communicated patiently with me via writing and text because I am Deaf. They examined over 20 years old HVAC system and cleaned condenser outside. The also replaced refrigerant.I confirmed AC system improved coldness. I approved.Dont expect perfect improvement if you have old HVAC.

    Very pleased with the work Evolved did in my home. I had mini splits installed in the house and converted from oil to gas heating. The house is relatively old but they did a fantastic job clearing out the old boiler, oil tank and hot water tank.They were very communicative throughout the process and I would gladly work with them again the future.

    I was very pleased with the team from EM that replaced my gas hot water heater with an air heat pump hot water heater and also removed my gas burner along with associated water and gas piping in my basement.     *Updated* Mike from Evolved Mechanical came out to fix our steam radiator system and service our boiler and was fantastic! After two radiators not working for an extended period of time, he had them up and running well quickly and came out the same day we contacted them. Truly excellent service!We have hired Evolved Mechanical now for two projects and have had a great experience both times. Zoran and his team did a fantastic job installing central air conditioning in our older home. They were thoughtful about duct work placement and really did an excellent job designing the system. Mike and Owen did a fantastic job replacing our hot water heater the day it failed, we were so lucky they came out the same day and even had Zoran come by earlier in the day to turn off the gas.     Excellent experience with Evolved mechanical! Monica was pleasant and courteous when I called. She was able to schedule an appointment for me within days of my call. Not only did they come on time and performed the requested service quickly and efficiently, but they went above and beyond showing me several issues with the other cooling system and central AC as well, helped fix one of the vents and clean out the drain lines and made suggestions how to avoid issues in the future.     Fantastic experience with the guys from Evolved! Mike and Cody came to evaluate our leaky pipe issue and were extremely polite and professional. They came back with Owen a few days later and took care of the issue. It was a bit complex, as it involved cutting a wall and removing a large piece of 120 year old vertical pipe. The worked quickly, but thoughtfully, so as to minimize removal of pieces of wall. They went above and beyond by replacing the pieces of wall board (that we had removed), which was very helpful to us.I HIGHLY recommend Evolved and especially the crew that did our job! Friendly, professional, and they clearly take pride in their work. The experience far exceeded our expectations!

    Sam and his team were absolutely fabulous. We had been trying to get a plumber to come out for 3 months to install everything you need for new washing machine install (cold/hot water, drain, drain vent, electrical) and a dishwasher at a price that didnt break the bank. I called right before thanksgiving and they were there on Monday afternoon even after having one of their plumbers call out sick. the work was done professionally, at a very reasonable price and Sam was very personable, friendly and walked me through everything. We also had to have some electrical done, which was done by one of their guys and cost less than our electrician. I could not recommend them more. Even the women answering the phone and doing the scheduling were accommodating and very quick to respond. Highly recommend this company.Needed our second hot water heater replaced after it started to leak which caused the pilot light to be clogged. Mike was great. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable and was able to do the job the same day that he came to figure out our issue. He even offered to grab me a coffee on his way to the job site. This company is fabulous. We have had nothing but great service at very fair prices. Thank you! Still highly recommend a year later.Update:Had to call the plumber for a leaking sewer main. As always Evolved Mechanical was quick to find someone to come out the following day after following up with us on Sunday. Mike Porter did the work.     Ive had great experiences with Evolved. They have someone answering the phone on weekends, which is very rare to find, and technicians respond quickly, even on Saturday. Mike Porter was our technician and was punctual, extremely helpful, and responsive by text. He was able to fix a broken gas valve by Monday after diagnosing the problem and keeping our gas furnace running on a cold Saturday. He was very helpful, polite, and generous with his time and the job came out right on budget. I would highly recommend Mike and Evolved.

    As our second time working with Evolved Mechanical, it was with good reason that we returned to them for installing a Mitsubishi mini-split AC unit.Last year, we were lucky to have the owner himself, Jason, service our furnace and replace our hot water heater. It was very neatly and professionally done, with top-of-the-line equipment, resulting in a better functioning and better looking installation than original.This recent AC installation was no different (a system I’m very happy to have as I write this on a +90°F day). After a scheduling hiccup on their part, they completed the job in one day. I was particularly pleased with their attention to detail on the exterior of the house, where they went the extra mile to make sure the cover for the AC lines sat flush against our non-uniform brick exterior, something I was initially worried about, but the end result was a clean and professional look. We were fortunate to again have their owner Jason and lead technician work our job.We’re very happy with the work Evolved Mechanical has done for us on both occasions, and would recommend them.

    Jason and his team are top notch and have been excellent every step of the way- from an incredibly quick turn around on securing the heat pump equipment to an excellent install process with great communication throughout. As an older building we are still working through some lingering issues but Jason’s team has been great in responding. Office staff have also been great in what is clearly a very busy time of the year. They are on mass saves qualified contractor list which means you can apply for the mass save rebates, and they are clearly on this list for a reason. Highly recommend

    I highly recommend Evolved Mechanical! I mentioned to Jenn at Evolved Mechanical that my wife and I were interested in air conditioning, but werent sure if we would end up moving forward with it or not. Nevertheless, Jason came to our condo last year and gave us an estimate to install 3 Mitsubishi mini splits HVAC systems. Jason was extremely professional and the estimate was given to us before he left! At the time, we decided against moving forward with the quote, but made the decision to install them this June (1 year later).Monica, in the office, made it super easy for us. She scheduled our install and is now helping us apply for a rebate!Dan & Owen were the guys that installed the units. Not only were they professional, courteous and clean but they did a fantastic job with the install itself. The equipment is exactly where we asked them to install it. Dan & Owen were extremely transparent throughout the process which made us feel comfortable the entire time.Our circuit breaker also needed to be updated. Chico, the electrician, was also a pleasure to work with. Chico is an extremely hard worker and replaced our old circuit breaker with a new one. Generally, this would have been a lot more expensive but since Evolved Mechanical was already doing the install they gave us an amazing price to update our circuit breaker!I generally dont write reviews, but after my experience with the people at Evolved Mechanical I had to post something. If you are looking for a fair price and terrific service, look no further!

    We had an excellent experience with Mike & Evolved Mechanical. We had set up our annual AC check-up then coincidentally found we had an AC unit leaking. Evolved was able to move up our appt time, and Mike was here for about 8 hours over two days getting the leak fixed as well as repairs on our other unit that were discovered during the check-up. Mike was so thorough and did an excellent job. He was at our place until almost 8pm on the 1st day working to get things fixed. It gave us great peace of mind knowing he was determined to fix the problem. Absolutely excellent service and great experience! Much thanks to Mike and to Evolved.

    It is now a year since Evolved Mechanical installed a mini split system in our home. It has worked flawlessly over the past 12 months.     We had a bathroom sink issue, we called and the office was very professional said when they would be at the home, they were on time and did a great job Mike and Owen spent a lot of time getting things right and being up front on the charge and what was being done.     The crew from Evolved was able to come out to my house within a day of my phone call to them. They were right on time, got my AC fixed and working properly within about 2 hours, and all three guys were friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. I also requested a quote for a more permanent solution to the issue I am having and they had that to me before the end of the same day.I have used Evolved in the past and highly recommend them for any HVAC work you might need.     Evolved Mechanical was the third plumbing company I called to fix my toilet. The first plumber said he would call twice and never did and the second company made an appointment and never showed up. I called Evolved Mechanical 10 minutes before they closed. They were very nice and said they could squeeze me in first thing the next morning. Mike arrived around 7:10 and was very polite and professional. He took his shoes off which I appreciated. He diagnosed and fixed the problem with my toilet and explained to me what the problem was. He noticed the toilet handle was broken and asked if I wanted it fixed. When I said yes he took the time to go get the part he needed and fixed it. They charge $189 to diagnose the problem but if your job costs more than $189 they put the $189 toward the job instead of charging $189 plus whatever you he job would have cost. I will definitely spread the word about this honest, professional company. I will definitely call them again if I need plumbing or electrical work. Mike was wonderful and did a great job. If you need a plumber or r electrician or hvac look no further these guys are reasonable, honest and do the job right and to completion.

    My boiler stopped working and I needed help. I emailed Evolved Mechanical LLC my info and someone was there the next day. They surveyed the boiler and came to the conclusion that it was not repairable and needed to be replaced. I had already been told this by another company but wanted a second quote.     This is an amazing company! I was very nervous about a huge HVAC project that we wanted to undertake when we bought our 1890s house- converting from oil/steam radiators to gas forced air and central AC and replacing the failing water heater too. It was a challenging job and we met with several companies. Some were confused on how to approach it, others never even wrote the estimate as they didnt seem to want to take on such a big job. Jason, the owner at Evolved, on the other hand was personable, confident and had amazing attention to detail in coming up with the best plan for our old and quirky house. He even pointed out important ventilation issues to make sure the new system did cause mold in the attic- no one else mentioned this. The estimate was delivered to me later that day.     Excellent Experience! Let me start by saying that I wish I found and contacted them sooner. After enduring the hottest July on record and unable to get anyone to come fix my broken central air, I was just at my wits end. Out of desperation, I gave Evolved Mechanical a call after finding them online half expecting to be snubbed just like all the others before them. What a pleasant surprise! I was able to get an appointment that very same day. Mike showed up, found issues with my central air unit and gave me an estimate. Two days later, he came back and fixed the issue.     I have worked with different tradesmen and contractors for over 20 years now and can honestly say that Mike Porter and Evolved Mechanical are the best of the best when it comes to any services they perform. Mike came in to do a huge job which consisted of an oil to gas conversion along with removal of my old oil tank, boiler, and hot water heater.     Had a hyper heat mini split installed in a finished attic (it was a floor unit so it’s texhnicall not a mini split, but I can’t remember what it’s called). Haven’t really had a chance to enjoy the unit, but the team from Evolved Mechanical was great. Jason gave the most thorough quote of the HVAC companies I contacted, and they were able to come out and do the installation the next week.They had a little hiccup where the actual unit was sold out from them the day of the install, they had to drive hours to get the unit, and lost half the day. While onsite we talked about working with MassSave to replace our old gas boilers and potentially bring in ductless wall mount air conditioning.     The installation last September of a 4 ton Mitsubishi heat pump (whole house air conditioner) is the second major job we had Evolved Mechanical do for us. The first was putting in an ultra-high efficiency Navien heating/hot water system 6 years ago.In both cases Evolved Mechanical suggested more advanced approaches to our needs than other contractors (who were also well rated on Angies List) that were nonetheless the least expensive options for us. This seems to stem from Jason M. being a clever lad, coming up with engineering solutions that others wouldnt have worked out.The MHI system we got uses both a mini split-type indoor unit downstairs and an air handler for the upstairs. This gives us ducts in all 6 upstairs rooms and the hallway and replaces a failed, unfixable 10-year-old Bryant mini split that was cooling the downstairs. One 4-ton compressor outside, sitting in the same footprint as the old 1-ton unit. All that for $15K.The extensive work was done without needing any follow-up contracting to clean up the usual messes. Tidy work.We highly recommend these guys.

    Prior to the repair the heat was not adequate. Eoghan, the technician, discovered the pump in the boiler was burned out. He replaced it, along with a connecting valve. From start to finish the service was top notch, and I am very happy with the end result.I had been looking to install a heat pump in my condo for a number of years, but due to its unusual layout it had been difficult to find an option that would work.     Evolved Mechanical installed our split a/c system last spring just before the first heat wave hit. It worked great just as they had said. Im now free of those damn window units. The workers were professional and informative re the steps of the install.This past month I had them return to disconnect my baseboard heat while I remodeled 2 rooms. I then had them return to reconnect the baseboards. Mike and Jessie were absolutely fantastic with all of this. They even stayed much later in the day to finish the job as they knew I had a daughter moving back in the next day.You absolutely cant go wrong hiring these guys!!
