    We are on our second house and any time we need a repair or service we call Gruter. They have always been prompt and any repairs were done quickly and efficiently. Gruter has never thrown parts at any problems or recommended repairs or replacements that were not needed. Their prices are always fair and they have several times gone above and beyond to provide fantastic service. In one case we had a bad gas valve which required a trip to downtown Cincinnati and back. They made that trip and within a few hours our heater was back up and running.When we were considering a full AC and gas furnace replacement we requested bids from several companies. Gruter had the best prices and better equipment than a few big players in the area. Chris also worked to give me information and pricing on a geothermal system that was priced very similarly to the standard HVAC system.Gruter has always provided us great service and prices and we consistently recommend them to our friends and neighbors. You will not be disappointed using Gruter

    I cant say enough good things about Gruter Heating and Air. I am thrilled with our new Bryant energy efficient systems! My bills are lower than they have ever been and every room is the same even temperature...Pure comfort!Steve and Chris are as efficient as the systems they install. When you call them they will get right back to you. I highly recommend them.I am looking forward to a warm, toasty winter.

    Steve and his team checked my old furnace and found some humidifier and potential carbon monoxide issues. Within a day they installed a new Bryant system. It made an immediate and an obvious difference. Ive known Steve for years and Im very happy with the unit and the work. Gruter has installed and provided excellent service to HVAC systems in my sisters house as well. Good guys!

Steve Gruter was recommended by Tom Wolter of Klotter Builder Inc, and WE can not be HAPPIER! Their professionalism and quality of work has been a pleasure. Steve and his son are very quick to respond to request for service and repairs. They are up to date on the heating and cooling business that transfers to better quality energy efficiency and always important cost savings.If you can get Gruter Heating on your schedule to service, provide you with new options for your heating and cool, DO IT!     Gruter Heating & Air Conditioning has provided tremendous residential service to my family for over 15 years. Their service has included furnace, air conditioning and in-ground pool heater installation and repair. Installation of highly efficient air filtering system and humidifiers significantly improved air quality throughout our home. Annual service programs have extended the life of our home equipment.     Best experience ever!Im not a super handy guy. So when my water heater went out I knew that these 2 hands of mine werent going to get the job done. So I googled and after about calling 3 companies (none of them answered); Gruter Heating and Air answered on the first ring!I told them the issue, and they were out within 24 hours. Replacing the water heater with ease and professionalism. They laid down towels when removing the old water heater up the stairs. Chris even took the time to answer all my questions while showing me what went wrong with the old water heater.These guys are PROS.They are clean, they dont make a mess and most of all they treat you like you gold!!!You can shop lowest price, BUT lowest price comes with people you dont really want in you house. #TrueStoryBONUS: I had Chris look at the air-conditioner and he knew right away what was needed to get my AC running to optimal levels.Call Gruter next time you need professionals to work on your AC or Water Heater!!!

    Chris came out that afternoon to look at our failing AC system. He found the issue and we agreed to replace the unit. I then had Chris and Steve install a new coil and AC compressor a few days later. They did a great job at a reasonable price. They were professional and clean on the install. Steve goes above and beyond with their small company. Something you rarely find with big hvac companies. I will continue to use their services in the future!

Steve and Chris came to my place at a moments notice, checked all of the diagnostics and flushed everything out.     Gruter Heating and Air installed an AC unit and indoor coil for our family last year. The unit and coil continue to keep us cool. Their attention to detail, professionalism and follow up has been top notch.     The guys did a wonderful job installing two new duct runs and registers in our kitchen. They were quick, courteous, cleaned up perfectly after the work was completed, and even wore shoe mittens when they were in the house.Our house is much more comfortable after the installation. Great job!

    Recently, I had a problem with my AC on a Friday afternoon. I was entertaining a large group the following day, to say the least, I was in a panic. Ive not needed HVAC service before and had no idea who to call. I did a Google search for HVAC near my home and started dialing. I had to leave messages for a few companies but that actually gave me time to read reviews and do some investigating before I made my final selection. Gruter Heating and Air Conditioning Co is locally and family owned, within a reasonable distance from my home. Mrs. Gruter answered the phone and gave me a time estimate when her son, Chris, could be at my house. He was on the other side of town but managed to get to me at 4:50 that day, remember Its Friday! He was able to quickly determine the problem, had the part and stayed with me until we knew my house was cooling down. The price I was charged was very reasonable, too. Later that evening I had a question and left a message (it was not a critical situation, just a question). Chris called my back on Saturday morning at 8:30 AM to check in with me. Everything was fine but he wanted to make sure I was satisfied and checked in with me a few times on Saturday to make sure my AC was running properly. Now, that is what I call great customer service.

    Gruter Heating and Air has done 6 installations, 3 High Efficiency Weil McLain Boilers and a Hot Water System, 2 Mitsubishi Ductless Split A/C Systems and 1 Bryant Gas Furnace. Great workmanship and timely service !!!!!!!! Would recommend to anyone.

    Gruter Heating and Air is the best you can ask from hvac in the city. Steve and his son have come to my house many times to keep our very old system running. Finally, we decided to update and they have done an incredible job installing the new system. They are incredibly knowledgeable, trustworthy and pleasant. They will be punctual, professional and polite. I really appreciated that they never tried to sell me on a new system until I was ready and then they were very open about prices and how those prices would affect the comfort level of my home. I cant recommend Gruter heating and air enough.

    These guys are fantastic! Chris and Steve were great to work with and Chris was extremely knowledgeable. My motor needed to be replaced on my AC unit and they were quick and very affordable.
