Excellent service, they came pretty quickly on a Saturday evening. Victor was very nice and quick gave great advice. They were able to quote me over the phone, they quoted me less than half of what other plumbers were quoting me because others were charging an after hours fee. I have two 50-gal water heaters, and after 20 years, one of them died. It was time to replace them both. After some research, I have decided on the high-efficiency tankless water heaters, specifically the Navien model NPE-210A2. Now comes the arduous task of choosing the right plumbing company; I set out to call all the top-rated companies in which Johns Plumbing & Drain Services was included.My objective was: 1) a reasonable price, 2) speedy work, 3) a permit, 4) additionally, an installation of a whole building water filter.John himself came to check the site, and shortly after, I received the proposal. Notably, I was told how long it would take and the steps of the installation process.John is intelligent, easy-going, and an amenable person. The work executed by him and his team is neat and, most importantly it is timely and thoughtful; the job done has a sense of harmony, a beautiful proportion, and balance.While working on the project, I received regular communication updates from Anna via text or phone. These plumbers really came through for me when I needed them! They acted as quickly as possible to help solve the water stoppages and then replaced a hot water heater tank day of. It really helped me a lot with the tenants staying there. They also provided reasonable pricing and excellent communication. It’s difficult to find good reputable plumbers in LA. But these definitely are them.

I initially hired them to install fixtures for a washer and dryer in my detached garage, as well as a sink. Their quote was the best after comparing with 4 other companies. They not only handle the plumbing but they can also get any electrical work done that is needed. The work was done in a timely and professional manner and we were so happy with the job they did on our garage that we recently hired them again to install a filtering system for our home and to clear out a few backed up faucets. I can’t thank John and his team enough. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful! It was nearly midnight in one of Los Angeles bad storms and John didn’t hesitate to come out and help when my basement flooded due to the extreme rain. As you can imagine I was extremely stressed and anxious and John within the hour was over assessing the issue and working out a way to fix the immediate problem of flooding and rising water. He then came back first thing in the morning (again during the storm) to repair a broken sump pump and diagnose and fix how the water was getting in. Honestly I can’t recommend John and his team enough. I will be using John myself for any plumping needs moving forward.

I have to say that I am super happy with Victors service. He and his partner arrived and took their shoes off without being asked before entering. Why is this not more common with service people and you have to ask or dont want to feel weird asking them to take their shoes off and just let them walk around your house with their dirty shoes? Anyways, my review is not about them taking their shoes off, just that they respect your property like it is their own. I had a shower that was turning out lukewarm water and a toilet that kept running. Victor gave us a very reasonable price and fixed both with parts that he had with him in a short time. I took a super hot shower for the first time in a long time, and I am thankful to Victor and his partner for providing us with great service!

Within a couple of days and over the weekend, the waterline was finished and I had water in my house. Victor knew I was not completely satisfied with the job, so they came back move the pipes inside the wall and out of view. This level of customer service is not common in the construction industry. We sought several estimates and while John’s Plumbing wasn’t the lowest, their rates were reasonable and Victor promised to take care of any issues that might arise as a result of their work (it’s a 100+ year old house so we have to anticipate these things). Victor and his team were expeditious and did the work in a professional manner. Upon digging, they learned the pipe configuration wasn’t entirely as they’d expected but he honored their original quote. We later discovered an issue with an attached pipe that we believe was impacted by the work that had been done, but even though there was no way to be absolutely certain and know for sure, Victor worked out a reasonable arrangement with us and resolved the issue. He was professional and twice demonstrated that he was a man of his word — there’s not much more you can ask for.
