    We could not use either, bathroom! Prodigy Plumbing, came that same day & started the work early the next day. By that afternoon everything was working!Thanks to Cesar, who tried to finish the job, but we had a bigger problem. Donny, came & described our opinions. It was more money then we hope to spend, but they have a 12 month s no interest.Thanks to Marcos for his repairs! Today Erik came filled in the hole. Everyone I mentioned were polite & friendly.     My water heater pilot went out again and for some reason my husband couldnā€™t get it to turn back on. We were out of hot water for 24 hours and so I decided to call Prodigy Plumbing. This is my second time using their service and they were great both times. The lady answer the phone and got me an appointment for a service guy to come out the same day. Steven came again and this time, Chris, was with him. They were able to turn it back on on the first try. They were punctual with a text prior to their arrival with an ETA. Very professional and knowledgeable about water heaters and gave me recommendations on replacing it when Iā€™m ready. I will definitely reach back out to Prodigy for any services and for the water heater replacement. Thank you guys so much! I highly recommend this company and I would not go anywhere else!

    Great customer service! They were responsive and came out to diagnose my issue. After a thorough evaluation which included a check under the house, I was presented with a solution and given a choice of prices to choose from. Each price bundle contained different options based on my budget. After I chose my price the work was completed in a timely fashion. I would recommend them.

    I made an appointment for an estimate to install a Comfort System on a hot water heater. I picked Prodigy Plumbing because of their great reviews, which were spot on. Steve was their estimator and was professional, friendly and honest to a fault. He was very informative and thorough, explaining our options with his best intentions for our decision making. This is incredibly rare in my experience, where most contractors mimic used car salesman in their selling tactics. I was looking for an honest, professional and ethical plumbing company and Prodigy Plumbing is my go too from now on.

    This was my 2nd or 3rd time using Prodigy Plumbing. I had a dripping hose bib. Since it was a simple job, I pushed it back a about a week. Two plumbers showed up, Trent and Chris. They were neatly dressed in official looking uniforms and they were both friendly and professional. They completed the job in a timely manner and also answered all of my questions. They didnt even charge me for a repair call or for parts. It was like an early Christmas gift! I will definitely use Prodigy Plumbing again.

    I had seen in the local Grunion Gazette that Prodigy Plumbing was voted best plumbing company so I decided to call them when I had some plumbing issues arise. I can say theres a reason why Prodigy plumbing is voted best in Long Beach! Ive used them twice now and they are a great, honest, local company. Their plumbers are super friendly and most importantly they are genuinely good and honest people! Today I had Jerry and Chris come out for a bathroom issue. I called at 8:30 on a Friday morning. I was afraid I wasnt going to be able to get someone out the same day and the weekend was just around the corner. But luckily they were able to send someone and although I was given a 4 hour window, Jerry and Chris were at my door within the hour! They were friendly and polite and they both took the time to answer my many questions I had about other plumbing fixtures that didnt have anything to do with my original service call. Thank you guys! Prodigy will definitely always be my go to now for any of my plumbing needs!

    I called Prodigy on a Friday at 3 pm with an unfortunate broken water pipe, which had caused us to have no water. Prodigy was extremely accommodating, having someone come out within a few hours the same day. Not only that, but Chris and Stephen were awesome. They went above and beyond to fix my problem. Which was not an easy situation - anyone who has dealt with 70 year old galvanized pipe corroding under wet mud for all that time will tell you, its a huge headache. They eventually got us patched up to allow us to get the water back on. Highly recommend this company, and their rate was extremely reasonable!

    Our technician Russell was great! He was very friendly. He took care of our clogged toilet from a childā€™s toy that was flushed down but he also checked some other minor items for the toilet for us even though not part of the request.     I was little hesitant to sign a contract with them at the beginning. They were quick to give a competitive price to linning my sewer lines for two properties. To my delight they did a great job. The installers were professional and plesant to work with. They did a fine job lining my main sewer lines.

    We had a plumber one day to work on a new shower fixture and tighten up the connection of a faucet and he was very nice and efficient. The next day we had an HVAC tech come and check out our AC and heating and he was excellent to explain to me what he found. There is work to be done but no emergency. He didnt know what the cost would be for a job and parts on our AC...since it is almost the end of AC season we may wait until spring. The techs cant answer costs, they only do the inspection....but he was a very nice man and willing to answer all my questions. This is a company that does excellent work....not the cheapest company but also not going to do shoddy work and will talk to you honestly.

    Steven Garcia came this morning and was so pleasant and helpful -it was just not like a normal service. He checked everything- fixed everything and smiled the whole time. He even told us how we could fix something quickly on our own to save ourselves hundreds of dollars in repairs. He was honest and helpful and skilled. Cant recommend him enough..

    We live on the beach with all the salt air. We came home and smelled gas in the garage and called the gas company. They sent out Prodigy Plumbing with Russel to inspect, he found all the pipes under the house were corroded/rusted and needed to be replaced. They were very professional and courteous. They worked with us to provide hot water the same night and made all the repairs in two days. Thanks to the team Donny, Russel, Gibson, Jose for the excellent work and cleanup. Great job to all.

    Hi I called Prodigy for a possible leak in mu laundry room. I wasnā€™t sure if it was a drain backup or what. Caesar came out within two hours of my call and was super polite. He wore shoe covers that he brought. He checked out my drains and they were thankfully still running clean. The leak seems to be connected to my washing machine itself. While at my house we had a minor unrelated job that involved a mixed up hot and cold water valve. Caesar fixed it quickly and at no charge. I am impressed with Prodigy and would call them again.

    Called for repair service on leaking sink faucet. Prodigy came out same day - great. Repair person diagnosed problem and reassembled faucet parts that I had attempted to repair. He stated that it may need a new cartridge, without attempting to take old one out and replacing with new one. He left stating that it would be better to buy a new faucet that he would install. So repair was not done.The faucet has hot water only (same as when I called for repair). Leak still occurs if cold water were to be turned on.Odd thing was that the repair person had no tools or parts with him. Though he was very friendly & professional, and of course did not charge for the visit.So I am doing two things, one called Delta to see if they can send cartridge part. Two, shopping for new faucet just in case.

    Called Prodigy and Russel Stephenā€™s came out. I had a backed up shower, was not a pretty site, and he got to work right away and not only fixed the problem but cleaned up the shower as well! He was thorough and cared about the work he was doing and about the customer. In todayā€™s world where customer service doesnā€™t mean much, you could tell it means a lot to Russel and Prodigy.     I called Prodigy and they promptly came to do a free inspection of the sewer with a camera scope. They showed me everything on the camera, and even let me know that the city is financially responsible for the sewer line off of my property line, and to contact them so that the city can repair the crack in the pipe. Cesar and Donny were so gracious, gave me useful information for the next steps to take (I contacted the city), and didnt try to sell me on anything. They even offered to come out and do another free inspection after the city does their inspection. They were prompt, polite, informative, and gracious. It was very nice dealing with them. Thank you!

We were previously told we needed to buy a new air conditioner Because of a water leaking issue.     This is by far the best plumbing experience I have had in the 27 years of owning income property in Redondo Beach. They live up to their reviews and then some. I called them to go to my property in RB. They were so easy to deal with understanding that I have tenants they would need to contact. They kept me the owner informed of everything they were doing. They went out the same day that I called got the sink drain unplugged. They did a thorough job and told me why the sink continually plugs up, they were able to take care of the major work a day later. They are super friendly. They know their job and get it done quickly and they charge a fair price. Iā€™m impressed and I will be using them from now on unless management changes.

    Incredible customer service!Our primary shower drain was clogged. We called in the morning and Cesar V. Arrived just after lunch. With two babies in the house I always appreciate when trades come in with booties on their shoes. Cesar was very professional and fixed our plumbing issue promptly. Theyā€™re not out to gauge you or take advantage which is a great feeling. Will definitely call Prodigy plumbing again if we have any other issues.

He was very professional and although the unit had some weird things going on making it difficult to find the root issue, he figured it out, and explained step by step what needed to be done.He was very helpful and informational and I will definitely request him again for future visits.     We called prodigy, because we know they usually can come out quickly and do a professional job. We were getting a washer and dryer hooked up, but the faucets that were to be used to hookup the appliances were frozen plus some other issues. Jerry was sent out within 1-2 hours of our call and we are so lucky he was sent to our rescue. He accessed all our needs quickly and gave us an estimate. Jerry had to go purchase all the parts needed and returned soon after and fixed everything needed. Its so nice to: get a professional, get an accurate assessment and quote, for people to go above and beyond with the smallest of details AND to get such a pleasant and wonderful professional.     If you are looking for a decent plumbing company, Prodigy will be your right answer.Especially in my case, I needed to get a check and estimate immediately, Prodigy made an appointment the next day even though it was the Memorial long weekend.Russell was my charge to check, he has worked really well. Based on his professional knowledge we could check what the problem is.I was in a little panic about what had happened to my bathroom but I could calm down when I saw his work. His experience could give me several options in cases, one of them was exactly right so it could be fixed.Also his Supervisor Donny was in my home, they double checked for me spending their own time more than enough.     I highly recommend Prodigy Plumbing!As a senior citizen, Iā€™m careful about who I deal with for home repairs. And I can wholeheartedly recommend Prodigy Plumbing. They have always been quick to respond, are very reasonable in price, and are not just polite, but caring.Most recently, they squeezed me in on a Saturday because my tub faucet had sprung a leak worrisome enough that I was afraid of a giant water bill. When Cole looked at my fixtures, he explained I needed a replacement cartridge that was obsolete. He wasnā€™t able to find the part, but said he could put in a new trim (faucet, etc.) or I could request a replacement part from Delta, which has a ā€œno-dripā€ guarantee. In the meantime, he showed me how to turn the water to the house off and on so I could stop the leak during the times I didnā€™t need water. Cole gave me his number and stayed in touch. I called Delta, who ended up sending out the wrong part, which I didnā€™t discover until Kevin rushed out from Prodigy to install it.Cole and Kevin each took their time to explain things. They were competent and respectful. And as nice as they were to me, they are representative of the company on a whole. From my first call to Prodigy Plumbing several years ago, I have been consistently met with genuine helpfulness from everyone who has picked up the phone.     I called Prodigy Plumbing because the cold water to the faucet in our bathroom would not turn off. Steve Garcia the technician assessed the problem as well as did a check of other faucets which were of the same age. The problem faucet/cartridge was severely corroded and needed to be replaced. There were varying levels of corrosion on the other faucets and cartridges that we decided to replace with new cartridges. Steve conducted a thorough assessment of main line water pressures, and our tankless water heater and discussed issues with hard water damages to pipes and what led to the damages to the faucets. Steve Garcia did the work efficiently and checked that everything was working properly upon completion of the job. Prodigy came out to our home promptly. Steve was friendly, skilled, polite and left his work area clean. I appreciated the itemization of the cost estimates without hidden surprises.I will be calling them back in the future. Thank you.

Mark and Donny took great care of our problem. 5 years ago we had Sewer Hydro Jetting performed on our 1908 Craftsman home in Long Beach. We discovered the problem was bigger. Now, five years later we had the Sewer Pipe Lining pipe burst PICC.They showed me the entire pipe run so that I understood WHY. So when they told me and showed me that several of my sewer lines were in need of replacement, I was glad that I had already had experience with the quality of their workmanship. These gentlemen are extremely hardworking and were very respectable and polite when they were in my home. One aspect that does need to be improved is the scheduling side of the business as I experienced one no show for an appointment made 1 month prior and after calling that morning to confirm.     The staff at Prodigy Plumbing and Heating are so awesome. I am an out of state property manager for a home in Long Beach, CA. It is not easy obtaining service since I am out of state. After contacting, Prodigy went to the house and provided me with a detailed report of what needed to be done, cost and estimated completion. Following my review of the information they provided me, I flew to Southern California and showed up at Prodigy office. Though it was late and they were nearly ready to close, the staff took their time and spent well over an hour with me going over each step. We have two phases and as they are both massive, we have broken up the work. Phase 1. Has been completed. They did a phenomenal job and kept in constant communication with me. When we are ready for Phase 2., we expect to contract with Prodigy to complete Phase 2.As a side note: my sister was so impressed with them and their work that she then hired them for some massive upgrades at her own home. That work has also been completed and she too is very pleased with outcome.

    I had the worst experience a homeowner wants to have, my main backing up into my tub, gross! I asked someFriends for a referral and they referred me to Prodigy Plumbing. He was kind and explained everything that he was going to do. He took his time to explain the pricing and all the work that was going to take place.     When I heard water dripping under my home I knew I mustā€™ve had a pretty decent leak. I immediately went to Yelp and found Prodigy Plumbing had great ratings so I requested a quote from them and two other companies. What I thought was going to be super expensive and extensive repair ended up being simple and very reasonable. I thought we were going to need to re-pipe the house but he said with the exception of the pipe that had the leak, everything else looked fine. In the past, Prodigy helped me with the main storm drain around the house, replacing the sewer line, fixing a gas leak connection to our dryer, fixing a water heater leak, and replacing old pipes under the guest bathroom.     I should start by saying that we are extremely particular about any company we hire to perform work at my home. With this, I take reviews very seriously and only publish when 100 percent certain. I can honestly say the Prodigy Plumbing is truly outstanding. I had the pleasure to work with Ozzy, Juan, Alexis and Jerry, all of whom are beyond impressive. The jobs included large-scale work such as exchanging to tankless water heater (this was last year and hadnā€™t posted by review yet), running new water lines to setup a new outdoor spigot system, ordering and replacing 3 toilets, replacing garbage disposal and all associated connections and more. They are all very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and clean up the area impeccably once they are finished.     I found Prodigy Plumbing in Yelp to install a water pressure regulator in my house. Lianne responded quick and Edgar arrived at my place the same day.     Tony arrived early in the time frame given. He went right to work installing my new water pressure valve. He was very efficient and professional. After installation he had me check the water pressure in my shower. He took on the task of project management and coordination between the construction team and electricians that had to come in to the unit. Edgar came out first for evaluation and soon submitted the the proposal. I discussed another issue with them and they convinced me not to go that route, potentially saving me thousands.     Jerry Navarro and Jerry Rodriquez from Prodigy Plumbing came over to fix a major gas leak at my residence. They thoroughly pressure tested the gas lines and was able to zero in the location of the leak within the interior of the house. They brought a good team of technicians to basically update my old corroded pipes and fixtures. Now my gas lines are new and have an accessible logical layout. They really made my headache go away with how professional they performed the task and with the quality of workmanship. I cannot say enough great things about Prodigy Plumbing. Our technician, Luis, turned off the water to stop the leaking, called the restoration company for us and helped us get the process of remediation started.     I needed an estimate on plumbing work. Matt scheduled me for the next day. Ozzy was here on time, crawled under the house, and took pictures. I had an estimate mailed to me within 30 minutes. They are friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them.A week later and the job is complete. It would have been done sooner but they found mold that had to be removed. It only took them 1 day to replace the cast iron under the house and replace 2 shutoff valves.They took away all the old plumbing,replanted plants that had to be removed, and cleaned up.     They came out the next day which I appreciated. They had a very expensive option which I did not want to do so he came up with a plan B that was not guaranteed but he worked the drain for two hours until he could clear it which saved me about $500.     To begin with, Mark who answer the phone call initially was fantastic off the bat. Mark was able to set up a same day appointment for the issue on hand. Then there was Bob the plumbing technician who arrived punctual between the timeframe Mark initially gave from 12 to 2 PM. When Bob or push the door Bob was very very friendly and very energetic. Bob was a very easy person and easy-going to talk to which made it easier for me to explain the situation I had. Bob was able to assess and explain how he will help me fix the situation and give me a very veryReasonable quote and he started to work very promptly. After the work was completed Bob was able to explain to me what he had repaired and replaced and also was able to send me a photo of the finished work.     Go with Luis from Prodigy Plumbing. He is a professional and demonstrates that he knows exactly what he is doing. He examined my faucet and garbage disposal and directed me to which products I could purchase from the store that would fit my kitchen sink. He took the time to explain how to maintain my garbage disposal so I could avoid this from happening again. When I was stuck as to which item to buy from Home Depot, he quickly responded to my texts to make sure I bought the correct items. My kitchen faucet looks amazing and I am very happy with the results and the service I received. I would not think twice about calling Luis at Prodigy again to for future plumbing issues.

    By far one of the best plumbers Iā€™ve ever used. The receptionist was super nice and helpful and was able to squeeze me in same day to fix a faucet. The tech (Steven) was super nice and sent me pictures of all the things he did to resolve the issue. Use this company- they are awesome!
