I found myself in a plumbing emergency around 11:30 a.m. after discovering water in my basement from a leaking water heater. I did not know a trusted plumber, but remembered seeing a plumbers truck at my neighbors house recently. I called my neighbor who highly recommended Tiptop Plumbing Services, Inc. owned by Charles Glaze. I got in contact with Charles around Noon only to discover he was about 50 miles from my house on another job. He said he would do everything possible to help me.Charles and his helper arrived at my house around 4:30 p.m. with a new water heater. He finished the job around 8:30 p.m without leaving. He had everything he needed on his truck for the water heater installation and to address a couple of other issues.Charles did a great job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Tip Top Plumbing.

He has installed a toilet and rerouted pipes for a bathroom vanity most recently. Weve tried A LOT of plumbers over the past 35 years - and went through a lot of hit or miss. I got Charles name from my mother-in-law awhile back. That was about ten years ago and Im soooo glad I found him. Since that time, he has fixed a bunch of stuff for us from leaky faucets, leaky toilets, clogged shower, etc. Hes a perfectionist with his work and is a great detective in finding solutions for difficult plumbing issues. He doesnt leave until the problem is solved and the job is done completely. He returns calls promptly and shows up on time. He is personable and professional and is everything you are looking for in someone coming into your home. If you are looking for a great plumber, you have found the right guy in Charles. He is truly Tip Top!

Excellent experience with Tiptop Plumbing. We had pressure issues with our main water supply which caused a leak at the hot water heater. Charles was able to be here the day after we called and had everything to do the job on the truck with him. He was up front with all costs and explained what all he was going to do. Within about two hours he had everything fixed and in better shape than it was originally.

I had used Tiptop Plumbing a few years ago for a sump pump replacement and liked the work so much I spent about an hour searching through receipts and old checks to find Charles again. This time when we called him, he spent probably 15 minutes on the phone with us to troubleshoot our problem... successfully. Cost me $15 for a part at Home Depot. All Charles said was, if that doesnt fix it, give me a call back. He is very professional and definitely knows plumbing. I wont call anyone else.7/27/2019 Apparently I cannot post a new review so I will just add to this one. I had another plumbing issues and dropped a text to Charles who responded promptly and asked for pictures if my issue. He later called (late on a Friday night no less) and gave me some suggestions (which worked) and this time I was able to fix it (stubborn tub handle removal) myself. Thanks Charles. And you know you are my guy when I have to call in the pro!

They did the renovation upgrade installation well as all the long-term plumbing needs... repairs... reconstruction... and specialty needs required of an old home made modern. Competent, meticulous, fair, generous, personable--master plumber Charles Glaze is all of these and more.When our 16-year-old water heater started leaking in four places a few days ago, I called Charles because we had had a very good interaction 18 months before: he had told me in detail over the phone how to fix a leaky toilet shut-off valve--no charge. This time, he apologized for not being able to come out same day, because he was waist-deep in the middle of fixing a big pipe for a church before Easter services. He quoted me a fair price for a new water heater, labor included, and promised to come to our house the next day, even if I cant get there until 8:00 pm.Charles and his polite young assistant arrived the next day as promised (at 3:00 pm) with a new 50-gallon heater in the truck. Charles quickly diagnosed that our houses pressure-reducing valve had failed (and also fixed the drippy shut-off valve to the back outdoor spigot--no charge). He quoted me a very fair price to replace the pressure-reducing valve, since Im already here.When finished with the installations, his work was a thing of beauty. He explained everything he had done thoroughly and explained maintenance procedures in detail. The whole experience with Charles was exceptional; five stars arent enough.

Unbelievable service! I was already in a Home Depot parking lot about to buy a water heater and received a return call from Charles Glaze to discuss installation. He was extremely thorough in explaining my situation and never gave the impression that he was rushing to end the call. He answered all my questions and then some and as it turned out I decided to let him provide the water heater to be installed. We set a date for installation and he was prompt and courteous through the entire process. While he was at the house, I pointed out some other minor fixture issues in our master bath and he explained the best approach to repair these. We told him that we were planning to renovate the area next year and he spent extra time with us to make suggestions. There is no question that when we are ready to pursue the renovation, the call will go to Tip Top Plumbing.

After repairing a leaky bathroom sink drain I had them back to head up the installation of new kitchen appliances, new sink installation and to look after the whole renovation except for the granite counter tops. I had a leak in an upstairs toilet, causing some water damage to the ceiling below it. I was sure were part of the problem was, but unsure if there was more to it. I called Charles, and unfortunately he was booked pretty solid the next 24 hours. He offered to come when he could, but was already committed on a current job. I do have some novice ability, and Charles was nice enough to walk me through some of the trouble shooting on the phone, and very helpful with me trying to fix it myself. He was also concerned enough to know if I was successful after working on it. You didnt have to do that Charles, and it means a lot to know someone cares! Highly recommend!
