Everyone from this company worth five stars, from the front desk lady to the plumbers. David and Dustin responded to my phone call within two hours, arrived on the same day to fix the issue. The issue was more complicated than expected and couldnt be fixed in the same day but they are very responsive throughout their service and very thorough with their work.My situation: the washer drain was backing up and the kitchen sink drains super slow. There was also water coming into the dinning area which shares a wall with the laundry room when the washer backs water up. David run a snake down the drain and thinking there was a blockage, so he cleaned out the drain and it looks like water from the laundry room was making its way to the main clean out. We thought the problem was resolved and called it a day. But the issue came back when the tenant tried to wash their clothes because the washer drain backed up again. David returned to the house the same night (after dark) and climbed onto the roof to check the vent. He found water puddling in the vent and he concluded that there is a blockage in the system to cause water back up and a leakage down the SLAB that caused water to appear in the dinning area as well as garage.After diagnosing the issue, David and his team moved very fast to fix the issue. They removed around 4 sq ft of slab in the laundry room, dug up the soil, found the broken P-trap (that was where the leak was), fixed it, located the blockage (GREASE!!! Never pour GREASE down the drain!!!), flushed it out, and covered up the area by putting soil back and poured cement back. All of these works are done in one day, and they checked the vent on the roof again and there was no water in the vent. They are very thorough at the work and made sure everything is working again.About David: He is a very honest plumber and his work is excellent. His price is very reasonable and everything he did was itemized. He is also very busy because he is getting a lot of work. It was hard for him to pick up my phone calls because I wanted to know everything that is taking place and I had a lot of questions, but every time we spoke he was able to explain to me what was wrong with the drain, what he did, what he will do next, and he even told me how the insurance company would normally take care of things. He went on to a totally extra mile to help me through out this issue and had the patience to explain me everything, which I truly appreciate.

Armand was super understanding and extremely helpful towards my plumbing nightmare! My family and I were without running water since Christmas Eve (during the frost days) because those we called before were either priced beyond our budget or simply didnt show up. My mom remembered having a great experience with U Gotta Plumber many years ago when we lived in Snellville and we decided to call them up (now gwinett area plumbers) and see if theyd be able to service our area. We were able to talk to the new owner David (well new to us anyways!) And we talked as if we had known each other for awhile. Made me feel very comfortable and was a great guy all around. Today on Sunday, I met Armand who gave me proper notice of when hed be arriving (very accurate timing!) And when I tell you he was nice, thats an understatement. I have dogs and my house could use some cleaning but he assured me that all was well and made me feel like I was inviting in a friend instead of a stranger. He always kept me up to date on what was going on, how much it was going to charge, and the best case scenarios and worst case scenarios so I could prepare myself for anything we hadnt suspected in the beginning. In comparison to other companies, theyre definitely much more affordable and I would highly recommend them!

Armand Leone was my technician. Can I just say he was phenomenal. He was on time and did a great job. I was pleased with him and the services. David and his entire team are hands-down one of the best services I have had the pleasure to work with. Everyone I interact with at GAP is pleasant, professional, and personable. And the work is always done promptly, excellently, and at a fair price. I have called on GAP for several different issues, and I will continue to rely on them in future.For a specific example: After receiving an enormous water bill, I called GAP for help. Despite it being the weekend before a holiday, David arrived within a few hours of my call. Thanks to his incredible expertise and intuition, he was able to detect the issue himself, saving me time and money in costly leak detection services!! The source of the leak was fixed quickly and at an extremely good rate. Though more work was recommended, I was not pressured to have it done. When Im ready for it, I will be calling David and his crew back!

Had the water main to my house break early in the morning. Called several plumbers to see who could come out to fix it that day since I was without water to the house. Called Gwinnett Area Plumbers and was called back by David the owner within minutes. He was upfront in saying he had another job he was on but would be out to me as soon as he was done. He called once to let me know he was still working but reassured me I would have water that day. He then called again to let me know he was 30 minutes away. When the plumber arrived it was David (owner) who I had been talking with who arrived. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He presented me with different options for a fix from basic to replacing the water line. Due to previous issues I decided to replace the line. I was not pressured by David to make one decision or another. He got my water back on quickly and returned the next day to replace the line. The job was done on time for the price stated. There was no pressure and David wanted to make sure I understood what he was doing throughout the process. I will not hesitate to call him back in the future. The only thing I can say about the price is I feel it was fair and the work was done for that price.

My technician was Mr. Armond and the man knows his craft. Not only did he replace a faulty valve on my shower he replaced a defective water pressure regulator as well. Failed expansion tank on hot water heater caused a small pond in my garage. By the time I noticed it, it was 11:30pm on Friday night. Called and was told how to prevent further leakage and scheduled call for Saturday morning. I called Gwinnett Area Plumbers on 12/23/2020 after 4:00pm for service. Daniel came out to my home within 1 hour. He assessed the job and had to come back the next morning because of additional supplies required. He is very professional, excellent communicator, respectful and courteous. Daniel re-routed a line from my water heater so that my recirculation pump would work properly to distribute hot water very quickly throughout my 4,500 square foot home. He also made adjustments to two of my bathroom showers on my third floor so that my family and I could enjoy a hot shower or bath without waiting 15 minutes for hot water. Gwinnett Area Plumbers provides Top Notch service and I will definitely call them (Daniel) again!!!

So my warranty company couldnt get out until Tuesday and my kitchen sink had been backed up since yesterday morning. I have a Alzheimers patient in my home and keeping him away from the sink would be impossible for that long. I called Gwinnett Area Plumbers and they were out the same day within a few hours today. Armand was very nice, explained a few dos & donts, explained what he was doing and cleaned up any mess he made. I will be using Gwinnett Area Plumbers again real soon for my business. I just hope I can get Armand again or that all their techs are as nice as he is!

He was quick to repair the supply line and was so informative throughout the whole process. We called them on a Saturday and someone was at our house within the hour and was able to determine the issue almost immediately. DAVID IS A LIFE SAVER. I was away for a few weeks tending to some family and came home to find that there was a rainstorm going on in my garage. By the I contacted David, he told me when he would arrive, he texted me he was 20 minutes out, and arrived with the BEST energy which was needed for my complicated pipe situation. It turned out that I had a record 8 burst pipes. I was expecting a bill to put me into cardiac arrest, but by the grace of God, David opted to really help me out and worked with me financially.I really enjoyed the fact that he allowed me to be a part of the experience which Ive never really had before. He showed me each burst pipe, and would explain how and why it happened, and he then showed me how hes going to fix it. Im pretty sure Im an honorary plumber now, because Ive learned quite a bit lol.I have to also add however, David is truly just such a genuinely nice guy. He seems like someone that you just want to shoot the breeze and have a bear with. Last Sunday, my water heater failed, at the end of its life. We called them on Sunday, the plumber was there first thing Monday morning. We were showering and washing dishes by the afternoon. They were knowledgeable, skilled, and professional, yet still fun.The water heater is way in the back of the attic. It was probably their most difficult install of the month. They didn’t complain once, just did the difficult job with a good attitude. I’d use them again, (but I hope I don’t have to.🙂)

I called GAP after my landlord was unable to find service for our plumbing issue over the weekend until late Sunday. Our issue began Friday night, but we trusted the landlord to handle it.Friday night our son was washing clothes and the drain from washer to main line kept overflowing. We cleaned up the mess, contacted the landlord, and waited. The landlord said they would send their handyman Saturday morning. When the residential handyman came out Saturday morning, he could not get his crank-snake far enough down our main line to make any difference, but advised he thought we could function as normal except to hold off on running laundry and dishes, showers and bathroom okay. The landlord made an appointment for Pink Plumbers to come out Sunday sometime in a five hour appointment window. However, we had another overflow after a toilet flush and had a second flooding to clean up.Figuring we couldnt use the bathrooms, we opted to pay for service ourselves so we could have a resolution same-day (tonight, in fact!), Saturday. I called GAP and spoke to a lovely woman who got me in contact with David, who I believe is the owner. He was incredibly pleasant and helpful. He advised we might have a septic tank issue, but he would send a plumber out to us ASAP for service on the main line, just in case. We were given a quote on initially speaking with David. Within five minutes, I received call from his plumber/technician, Dustin, advising he was 20-30 minutes away. What a relief!Dustin was polite and tidy and very efficient. He listened to our saga and planned a course of action. He removed a toilet to reach the main line, ran the rooter, and cleared a clog about 25 down the line. He advised to take it easy on water usage for the night but to try and resume normal function on Sunday morning (tomorrow). We ran a few line tests while he was still with us and everything seems resolved. He let us know if the issue repeated, we probably needed to have our landlord have the septic tank inspected/pumped.Everyone I came in contact with at GAP was spectacularly nice, helpful, and informative. It was the best service-related experience Ive had in a long time (and I also work in the service sector). Thank you, GAP, for putting our minds at ease and helping my family get back to life as normal. We will most certainly be recommending GAP to family and friends, and reaching out to them for any other plumbing issues in the future!

Armand did a wonderful job replacing and upgrading a faulty water pressure regulator and the resulting damaged valves that were causing multiple major leaks all over the house,. He showed us everything he was doing and explained why, answered all our questions, and gave us good advice about preventing future problems. When we decided to proactively replace the old water heater too, he was out first thing the next day. He worked quickly, charged reasonable prices, and was very personable and professional. I feel very confident in his work and very relieved that I won’t have to deal with any more major leaks for the foreseeable future, and that I have a competent person to call if there is a problem. I selected these guys because of the good reviews and now its my turn to leave one myself.I noticed a sewage smell coming from my basement and discovered that water was overflowing out of the drain pipe for the washer. I had a main line clog. I sort of panicked and called Roto-Rooter as the first option that jumped up on my phone. They came out a couple hours later and tried snaking the cleanout but couldnt get it cleared. The guy didnt really seem to know what he was doing. Only used one small blade. Never tried anything else, and was running the snake backwards to boot. After a while he concluded it was broke and that an excavation team would have to come out to dig it up and replace the pipe which would have cost a small fortune.With my house under contract and closing in less than 2 weeks I was having a small heart attack at the thought of that I decided to get a second opinion and found Gwinnett Area Plumbers. They were responsive and had someone out first thing the next day (it was Easter Sunday and not an emergency). Dustin showed up, knew what he was doing, and got to work. He got it cleared in no time and even sent a camera down the line to show me exactly where the problem had occurred and show me it was fixed.These guys did an amazing job and literally saved me what would have been thousands of dollars and an untold amount of stress had I not gotten a second opinion. Noticed my water bill was unusually high... Called them and they sent a guy over that night, about 6pm. Found my water main from the meter was broken somewhere. They hooked up a temp waterline and I waited for the follow up. I expected a few days to go by, but David came back to my house the very next day as soon as he could! They came back the next day, got my old pipe out of the ground, new pipe in with shut off valves all in just a couple of hours AND they diddnt have to dig up a big trench! Awesome! My mom has used this company before, and I never had a need for a plumber until now and Im glad I knew who to call for such a major repair. I can not thank you guys enough!! They stayed late into the darkness of night to diagnose and repair my issue, that speaks volumes of their character! They will be the only plumbers I use from now on.

Even without the stopper in place, water built up when we needed to wash our hands, and whatever was clogging up the drain wasnt getting any better with anything we tried. First of all I was impressed by the professionalism of David the owner. He was not pushy and even offered to refer me to a larger company if I felt more comfortable. I told him I needed some time to think he did not push. Then I called about a week later and stated that we were ready to move forward. This involves removing sheetrock and repair. David was able to resolve my problem by fixing the hose bib itself, instead of ripping everything out and replacing it. No sheetrock repair, and everything is working beautifully. Less damage, and a dramatically less expensive repair. I appreciate Davids honesty and integrity.

I contacted David a little over a month ago regarding our gas grill that blew over during a storm (my concern was a gas leakage). Prior to calling David, I had a hard time finding someone to assist me with this and when I called David’s business, he FaceTimed me as I moved through my basement so that I could find the shut-off valve to the natural gas line. He was so patient and told me exactly what to do!! Fast forward to today and my husband was trying to remove the grill and noticed a gas smell. We had an outside gas meter and I wasn’t sure how to get this turned off. I called David and he immediately called me right back. I took pictures of our meter, sent those to him and he circled the cut-off valve I needed to turn off. It took less than 5 minutes to get my home safe!! David never asked for a payment and when I offered to send him money tonight, he didn’t want anything. Two times he saved my home with a phone call. I can assure you, he will be my plumber for life!! I have never experienced such a kind person who was happy to help me with our gas line. Please use David for your plumbing needs. He is one of a kind - and I feel this way with just talking with him by phone. It is so nice to have someone who truly cares. I am very grateful for him.

We’ve been having plumbing issues for a few weeks and had a high water bill last month (due to leaking toilets that were fixed). After a family member fixed our toilets, we still had leaks that only a plumber could fix. I called several plumbing companies, and GAP was one of the many plumbers I called after finding themOn Google. Their quote was the most reasonable. I knew we had a pressure valve issue and we were also having problems with leaks in our home. Armand and Chris came to our house that afternoon and replaced our pressure valve (which stopped two leaks) and the replaced a cartridge on remaining leaking tub faucets! They were professional and helpful. I also asked them to explain everything they did with the pressure valve replacement and they were so nice about it. We haven’t had any leaks or water flow problems since then and I’m so grateful. I definitely recommend them!
