You can’t go wrong with hiring the services of Hammer and Nail. Danny is a very talented carpenter and handyman. He will do a professional job, from the estimate to a follow-up after completion. He built this doggie ramp for my puppy. He uses it every day! Danny has also done several handyman jobs for me. I highly recommend him!

I can’t say enough great things about Hammer & Nail. They stepped in when the other service I arranged cancelled on me several days after they were supposed to start. I called H & N in a panic. After discussing what needed done, sending some pics and dealing with the estimate, they promptly came and did the work. They were incredibly professional, did excellent work, and spent time with discussing the best options for completing the work. They were so good, my sister asked them to move to her town so she could hire them. I just moved here from out of state so finding such a wonderful resource made me feel absolutely blessed! They were even able to recommend other services to me that have also work out very well for me. I recommend them without reservation and they will be returning to do additional work for me on my new home.

Had a great experience working with Danny on our project. Started with a couple of phone calls to clarify what was needed to be done. There were emails from office staff to set up the appt, a reminder the day prior, and 2 weeks later checking on any concerns. Arrived on time and project was completed in a timely manner.

Really pleasant experience with Hammer and Nail Handyman Service. Unlike most Nebraska businesses they actually call you back and do follow-ups to make sure everything is as should be. Showed up when theyre suppose to. The job was completed quickly and the area was left probably cleaner than when they arrived I cant recommend them highly enough.

If theres a repair job youve been needing to do but dont know who should do it, you should definitely contact Danny at Hammer and Nail Handyman Services! I submitted a request for an estimate through his website and that day heard back from Danny. He asked a few questions over the phone and had me send some photos via text. Super easy! The secret sauce to Dannys service is the communication that happened before, during and even after the repair. He is very knowledgeable and communicative. Customer service was top notch! While repairing my front door jam, I asked him if he know of another person to help with a masonry repair. He went the extra mile to help me find someone. I highly recommend him and his services!

We had Danny and Hammer & Nail build and install shelving at our new house. From my very first contact with Danny, it has been a wonderful experience! Soon after my initial call, Danny came to our house and we explained what we wanted and Danny discussed alternatives with us. The price quote- which was extremely reasonable- was quick and ‘painless’. Throughout the project, we would get constant updates from Danny and Kacey. There were never any delays and everything was well explained to us in advance. When install day came, Danny couldn’t have been more professional. Where necessary Danny moved and later replaced furniture; was very careful not to dirty any areas of the house; used plastic where necessary to protect our belongings. The installation process went very quickly! We were thrilled with the final result! I have a brother in law who was in charges of facilities at a local college: he took one look at the shelves and said it was ‘top notch construction!’We couldn’t recommend Danny and Hammer & Nail more enthusiastically! And, on top of everything else, with Danny and Kacey you are dealing with two of the very nicest people! Just a real pleasure to deal with!

Danny has an eye for detail and has great ideas (borne of years of experience) to add to your own. He makes the process simple by gathering information about your project through conversation and pictures to give you an idea of what your budget might be. I find this helpful to run ideas by before getting too attached to them and budgetary restrictions dont allow for the project.

Danny was great to work with. With the estimate process he asked alot of questions and drew up a design that met our wants and needs. He did great at communicating during the process and showed up on time for his appointments. The job was scheduled and kept on scheduled. Most importantly the work was great. He redesigned our fireplace mantel, added wood to frame it, shiplap above it and crown modeling to add design. Turned out just as we wanted and looks great.

Hammer & Nail wasn’t the cheapest option but we definitely don’t regret our choice…easy to work with, great communication, professional (but fun!) attitude, and the work exceeded our expectations every time!
