He skillfully fixed several doors in my home, expertly installed a new microwave, and added a nice recessed light that has completely improved the kitchen. He had all the necessary equipment with him except for some extra large screws that were necessary because of the size of the lumber I provided for a doorway frame. I felt comfortable having him in the house and letting him work on his own -- he clearly knew what he was doing.

Excellent work, knowledgeable handyman, quick service, great price. They got us in to replace our toilet in two days. The handyman, John, called us the night before to confirm our appointment and clarify a couple details about the job. He even called back five minutes later to give us a helpful tip for prepping the area before he came.A link sent via text the day of the appointment allowed us to track his arrival time. When he arrived and looked at the toilet we had purchased, he immediately recommended an extra thick wax seal instead of the standard one that came with the toilet, and gave us the option to run get it ourselves to save the cost of the markup if he did it. He worked quickly and cleaned up after himself. He didn’t even mind having our two curious cats watch him work (“I’m an animal lover,” he said.) And it was all an amazing price compared to having a plumber replace our toilet - less than half what the plumber quoted us.We will definitely be using Ace Handyman services again and telling our friends about them!!!

Five stars it is!Got the job done in a timely manner. The guy could think on his feet to solve problems and I learned stuff from him. The finish quality was a little rougher than expected.

There is a live person answering the phones to give you information, no leaving a message and never hearing back from them! The craftsmen that came out, Rasdaniel and Daniel, were knowledgable and efficient. They were able to make repairs as opposed to replacing and worked well together. They also communicated with us throughout their work to show us the progress and how they were fixing things. We were impressed with the short time frame for scheduling the work (within a week of calling to schedule) and with the professionalism of both the office staff and the craftsman.

08/10/2023 UPDATE: I wanted to provide an update to this review based on an extremely surprising response I received via a phone call from Ace Handyman Service Lincoln. To receive the kind of response I did is something thats just incredibly out of the norm because I feel strongly that Great customer service is rare in the world we live in today. AHS called me to let me know they saw my post and feedback and thanked me for it and acknowledged that my feedback was valuable to them and they were sorry the experience I had was not what they wanted for me. They issued a refund amount that we both mutually agreed upon was fair based on the service I received. Its important to note that a person should never post reviews with an expectation to receive refunds or get something you want; each personal situation and circumstances will be different. AHS definitely showed that they care about their service and experience the customer receives and based on my experience in life providing customer service and receiving it, they deserve a higher rating than 5 stars if I could give it. I believe very much what I stated in my 1st post and that the service AHS is providing is very rare, unique and theyve demonstrated that they want it to provide a value to the customer. Thank you AHS, you will most definitely see me as a return customer!Daniel who came out was incredibly courteous and professional. I would like to give a 5 star but the only problem is the cost. I needed to have an egress window caulked around it. Note he did have to go get the caulking so allow time and material for that and then do the caulking. He also picked up a piece of hardware to try and fix a dresser drawer that had a broken bottom center slide that I could not repair at all and had already spend 3-4 hours of my own time trying. The part he purchased would not work at all and he could not fix it. He spent about 3.5 hours total between caulking my window, picking up the supplies, the cost of the supplies and trying to fix my dresser drawer and it cost me $515.00. At my place of business I have a contractor I use for maintenance and 3 hours would have cost me $192.50 + the materials and shame on me for not having them do the work, but I was trying not to take advantage of the guys who do the work for me at my office. The reality is that I requested the service and didnt say anything at all to Daniel about the cost because thats on me, but I truly had no clue it would cost $515.00. I figured maybe $250.00 at the minimum + the supplies. In theory, having a handyman service like this would be absolutely awesome but not at such a high cost. Maybe its the COVID thing and labor costs are just that high for everything now.
