This was our Second time using Joe Kilowatt and we would highly recommend them. Their estimates are reasonable and fair for services. This time we came in under the estimate.Our electrician was very friendly and polite. He explained the work in detail and asked for our input before starting. We had lights install in our kitchen cabinets, a spot light above display case on the stairs and a security camera.He finished early and cleaned up before walking us through the new installments.

I was very pleased with the services provided by Joe Kilowatt. Kent was there in the time frame that was agreed upon, got a couple of outlets repaired and installed 3 new outlets in my home. He was very professional, got the job done quickly, and his work looked amazing when it was done. I am excited to call to have them come out again to install some outdoor outlets for me. The price was very affordable and reasonable. Im happy that I now have a go-to company that I can use for all my electrical needs.I should also mention that Emma was very quick to help get me a quote over the phone and email. She was also really pleasant to deal with.

I hired Joe Kilowatt to redo the electrical on a new house, moving from 60 amp to 200 amp service. David was very friendly and very thorough, and the price was very reasonable considering the 4 days of work that went in to the upgrades and repairs. I had him check every electrical box in addition to the panel, and Im glad I did. He eliminated several fire hazards and took the time to explain in detail exactly what the issues he found were, and was happy to answer all my questions. I will definitely hire Joe Kilowatt again if I need any electrical work done in the future.

I’ll start this review with the disclaimer that we are adamant about holding contractors accountable…good or bad. From start to finish, these guys did a phenomenal job. We are in the process of completing a “custom” home, and this is one of the few trades that worked with us very closely to ensure that we are getting exactly what we wanted (Unfortunately, we can’t say that about the builder or some of the other trades) . On two occasions, we spent multiple hours painstakingly going through the entire house to place every electrical item with the rough-in guy, Rick. Rick was an absolute joy to work with. My wife is fairly particular, and he made her feel very comfortable through the process of directing him to complete her vision. For the ladies reading this - There was no “mansplaining” or condescension in his demeaner. He treated her with respect and effortlessly guided her through technically complicated decision. Most guys cop an attitude when you ask them to make small adjustments on the fly (especially if it involves ANY amount of rework). On the few occasions this happened, Rick snapped right to it and did it with a good attitude. I can’t tell you how happy and relaxed this made my wife! Rick also helped me through a number of sticking points, figuring out solutions that achieved my objectives while actually SAVING me money. Imagine that…a contractor looking out for your best interest! The finish guys were just as good. Shawn also worked with me on a few unknowns and was extraordinarily flexible with our lighting vision. We incorporated some vintage lighting that was certainly a little more difficult to install than new stuff out of the box. Shawn never complained a bit and made all of it look fantastic without a single bit of guidance from me (see photo). These guys moved fast, and put in the kind of work days that keep a project on, or ahead of schedule. Sometime, they would be working for 2 or 3 hours before other trades would finally show up. Their final invoice was super clear (no single line item emails or vague charges scribbled on a single page invoice), so you know that you are paying for exactly what you got. Regardless of weather you are doing a renovation or new build, I suspect you will get the same type of service from all of their employees. Don’t roll the dice with any other contractors! These guys have competitive prices and GET IT RIGHT!

Beware, Ill get straight to the point.Tech was great, had a wonderful time chatting with him while working. After tech left found out that only 4 out of the 5 data drops worked. Called the office spoke with them twice. It has been 2.5 weeks and still waiting on someone to show up or even receive a call back. If you use them confirm everything works before they leave, because you will be chasing them to come back and fix the problem. Reading other reviews it looks like this company may be quantity over quality.Update: they’ve fixed everything, tech was great.
