    Great company. I have used them several times and have always been pleased. I do have a preferred tech which is Nick. He has been to my home several times, always wears shoe coverings, and is very friendly. I have had 3 faucets, 2 toilet resets, and a new line to the refrigerator installed. Customer service has always been friendly and worked around my schedule when I had new flooring installed. They scheduled to remove toilets and then came back the next day to reset them. Iā€™m pretty picky and they did the job I wanted and didnā€™t try to oversell. I will use them to have a new sump pump installed when the time comes. They are reasonably priced and have always arrived on time. They are my go to company.

    Our experience with Andrew as he completed several plumbing projects for us was 5 stars all around. Andrew is quite possibly the most professional technician weā€™ve ever worked with. He was attentive to detail, communicated clearly, and cleaned up beautifully when he was done. We had been long time discount drains customers and experienced some growing pains when they first transitioned to Bassett, but this experience with Andrew was a delight!

    BEFORE (pedestal sink) IN PROCESS (other pictures) AFTER (vanity) went with discount drains despite the fact I couldnā€™t find many reviews about the company moving the plumbing drains for a renovation. They moved the plumbing from the right side wall to the center wall (around 5 feet of plumbing). Knowing I needed to patch the dry wall myself, they were kind enough to offer coming back to install the new vanity once I finished the dry wall. This was great because I didnā€™t have to try to figure it out after everything was installed because I would have no idea how to drywall once my new vanity and sink were put in. Definitely recommend!!!! They get you on the schedule quickly and will spend as much time needed to ensure a job well done.

    I had to replace a upstairs bath tub drain. After hours of trying to remove the old one, I finally got the new one installed. It was fine for showers however, when water was run in the bathtub, it leaked from the second floor, to the ceiling of the first floor kitchen. I went on Angieā€™s, got approximately three companies to reply, and Discount Drains was the first one to reply. They sent a technician out first thing next day. Graham showed up, and was very knowledgeable and professional. He fixed the issue expeditiously, and then even offered an additional part at no cost to me. Thank you again, you have saved a marriage.

    Elaine was absolutely amazing! She diagnosed the issue within minutes, explained what she was going to do in detail and gave me a quote that was more than fair. She then asked if I would like to proceed with the work, which I did. She was so efficient and I was very impressed with how quickly she had my sink back up and running. She tested all components to ensure everything was working properly then also provided tips as to how I could avoid this same issue in the future. I will definitely be recommending Discount Drains to anyone and everyone. They will be the first people I call should I have any plumbing issues in the future.     My experience was great- everyone was so friendly and the work was done in a super reasonable time frame. Although there was a miscommunication on the cost of the service it was likely my own fault as a new homeowner who is not familiar with pricing of these types of services. My only suggestion would be a written estimate for the service when scheduled at the initial inspection etc., would just be helpful for spacey folks like myself. I know the price of the service is worth it regardless! Elaine was super patient with me as I figured it all out and I appreciate that so much.

    I called Discount Drains about a few plumbing issues we needed help with. Trevor came out the following day to give us quotes on each service individually. He was great to talk with about the problems we were having and possible solutions. We scheduled the service we wanted done for the next day. Elaine came to replace our outdoor leaky faucet as it was original to the almost 50 year old house. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, and got the job done! This is the second time weve used Discount Drains, and weve been very pleased with their staff and services every time. Highly recommended!

    I had an issue that I couldnt fix. It needed real plumbing experience but I chose not to call the plumbing company Id always used. I began by reading reviews on Yelp. I made an inquiry and yes I got three replies but chose Discount Drains based on the reviews and awesome communication w them.Josh Arnold came early in the time window theyd provided. He was so professional and he definitely can explain things and taught me about the why the issue and what to do moving forward. Josh never tried to sell me anything. Josh never tried to make the issue seem worse than it was. He was matter-of-fact about things and was so efficient, kind, respectful, and pleasant.     Had two fill valves and flappers installed. It was not what the guy expected at all. Our particular toilets he had to take tanks off to replace these. It took a bit longer, but he got it done. I have used this company for several things. Their pricing is a little higher, but they do good work. What isnt in this climate. Their costs are higher on their end I am sure. I would recommend!

    We had a faulty gas range and needed a new one installed with some corrections to the gas lines. Gage came to give us a quote and was timely, thorough, and reasonable with the price. Rick came the same day to complete the job and was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. He worked quickly and efficiently and was even concerned about making too much noise as to not wake our sleeping toddler. If we ever need plumbing or gas line services again, we will definitely go back to Discount Drains.

    DD does excellent work. Ive used them several times. This time they replaced the kitchen sink branch line and capped old lines. The job became more complicated and invasive as they got into it and the price increased accordingly. I was shell shocked. When I followed up today for a copy of the invoice, I asked about a senior discount and was told no because I didnt ask for it before the work was completed. That seems a bit harsh since the job was a moving target with verbal updates regarding the price. No one ever mentioned that a discount was available for old people.

    Very pleased with everyone I dealt with. All responsive, completely professional and they got my jobs done in record time. Weā€™d sprung a leak under a bathroom sink on Friday, so I looked in Yelp for a Columbus plumber. I was attracted to Discount Drains for their excellent Yelp reviews, then with their responsiveness to my request. Within hours theyā€™d set up a Monday morning estimate job and after Gage appeared within the morning window and gave me the estimate, the plumber, Noah, showed up in the afternoon and fixed everything to my satisfaction. There was a leak over my dryer, underneath the upstairs shower and he pinpointed the problem and fixed it permanently with new copper piping.     We were blown away by the service by Discount Drains. We initially received a visit from Gage to determine what our potential needs are. Their team scheduled a follow up to address the potential leaks shortly after. We received a visit from Elaine and was very impressed with her knowledge and support. She reached out to her supervisor to confirm some of the final questions we had and provided recommendations as we did not end up actually having a leak. Although we did not need their services on this occasion we will be using Discount Drains for all future plumbing needs.

    The estimate and the work were quick and well done. Technician Trevor provided a good estimate via FaceTime and he clearly understood the scope of the work. Technician Noah was scheduled within days of the estimate and completed the work in a couple of hours. There were no surprises and the estimate = the final cost. Trevor and Noah were both very professional and courteous. When he was done, Noah showed me what he did and he left the workspace neat and clean. I was very pleased with the entire project and will definitely use Discount Drains again, as well as recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work.

    Our bathtub was draining slow and the pressure from the water had caused the piping to leak. After getting a quote from another company, we called Discount Drains to have them come out and give us a quote. They got us in the next day, called to ask if it was okay to come early and were able to diagnosis and fix the problem in just a few hours. Our tech, Austin, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions; he was polite, professional and friendly.     Discount Drains was great to work with. We were having issues with the sink and tub drains in our bathroom. They were able to provide a free estimate using video chat and were able to come out the same day. The tech was very professional and was able to get the drain running. He let us know that unclogging would only be a temporary fix since our pipes were galvanized and corroding from the inside and would eventually need replacing to prevent more clogs. They were able to provide an estimate on the spot for replacing the pipes.We had them come back to replace the pipes and the techs that were out were great. They were on time, explained everything they would be doing, showed us everything they did once they were finished and were very polite and professional.Both experiences were very positive and their prices were affordable. I would definately use them again and would recommend their services.

    We worked with Gage who came to our house and provided a quote for water heater replacement. We chose Discount Drains after receiving a comparable quote from another provider. Shortly after engaging Discount Drains, the installer, Taylor. came to the house. He did a superb job with the installation and was very helpful in explaining the installation process. As the water heater he was replacing was 17 years old, it took awhile for the removal and then installation of the new hot water heater. The water heater installed is a commercial grade water heater and built a little better than what would be purchased at a box store, and thus a little more expensive, but hopefully, built to last longer. Taylor did a great job with the installation and also did a good job explaining what to look for and how to relight the gas water heater, if for whatever reason, the pilot light would go out. The job took most of the afternoon and Taylor was very respectful and professional while he was here.

    The tech was super nice and knowledgeable. He did a great job. The receptionist was also very nice and understanding.My basement was under about 8 inches of water. They had to do the hydro jet, which was expensive. But it worked almost instantly.The people are great...prices are a little high. But you definitely get what you pay for...thanks guys!

    The company was fast in scheduling me for an on-site estimate and repair. I had a clocked bath drain that filled with water constantly and a toilet that wouldnā€™t flush and overflowed.     Needed to have the plumbing under my mobile home replaced to prevent old outdated pipes from continuing to leak. From the initial phone call I could tell this was a professional company! Once I scheduled a free estimate, the company sent me a photo of the technician, Taylor, who would be arriving along with a short bio about him. He was dressed professionally, wore a mask (during Covid), was highly courteous, explained everything to me and asked if there were any other items he might need to address (which I did have). The estimate for work was sent within 24 hours and I was VERY happy with the projected cost. So much so that I had the additional two jobs completed as well! They even gave me three discounts! Work was schedule within just a few days and they sent the SAME technician back to do the work. As he completed the work he was advising me of his progress. He never left my home during the job (prepared!) and completed the work within 6 hours. He showed me how to turn off my water, made suggestions about other items he observed could potentially be a problem in the future, and thanked me for my business. I could not have had a better experience and would highly recommend this company. If I ever have another plumbing need, this is who I will call!

    I just had my toilet serviced for an obstruction. Elane came the day before and helped with our septic tank which we thought was the problem.     I first scheduled several companies for an estimate on a water heater install, and the first to call and arrive was Austin with Discount Drains. Austin was professional and thorough and his price estimate was well within our expectations so we approved the work and cancelled all other companies.     Although I have given the company a 5 star review, I am doing so because of the incredible service Trevor gave us today. He was polite, honest and really knew what he was talking about. He even have us advice on services they could do for other things we needed fixed.My stepmothers hot water heater began leaking after only being installed for 3 years. Discount Drains didnt do the original installation, but they were quick to help us and set up an appointment. They were up front with us about what was still covered under warranty and were fair with their prices.Based upon all of these things, I recommend them for your project.     Had a hot water tank evaluated after it seemed to be burned out and not relighting as it should. We are new homeowners of an older home, and learning which questions to ask and when.     Tim V. Was very nice and professional. He introduced himself when he arrived. I live in a mobile home park so it is hard to find a plumbing company to assisted with mobile home plumbing.     In March 2021, the hose that connects to the dishwasher came apart and partially flooded the kitchen floor. The water also rained down into part of the unfinished basement. I contacted discount drains and Kyle came out the same day to assess the situation. Dryers were brought to the home the next day. Kyle was great about explaining the process. They were extremely clean and careful in our home. Discount Drains worked well with my homeowners insurance. I am satisfied and I will not hesitate to contact them again.

    I cant say enough great things about Discount Drains and their tech Dustin Smith. We called them because our kitchen drain was clogged in the wall, not in the trap. They sent someone to our house to check the issue and provide a quote. The price was very reasonable. Once Dustin arrived, he determined that the issue was far worse than originally expected. It appears that our 1979 house had 40ā€¢ years of grease built up in the pipes. The drain was so bad that Dustin had to come out the next day to finish the job (we had an appointment to attend to). The best part was that in spite of all the extra time needed, they honored the original quote! We will definitely call them the next time we need a plumber.

    After reading reviews, I hired Discount Drains to replace my main water line. Their Google reviews did not disappoint. Austin and his crew showed up on time and did a very professional job. They had to excavate next to the house and were careful not to destroy any landscaping. We have an old stone foundation that got disrupted during drilling for the new line, and they fixed it all so I would not have any water issues later. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

    We live in a 100 year old home where plumbing seems to have been pieces together over the years and what we thought would be an easy DIY task to replace the waterline to our refrigerator turned into an impossible feat!     I originally called Eco Plumber and after their $111 visual expection, we didnt learn anything we didnt know and was asked to pay additional $356 to continue the inspection by cutting the drywall and their plumber didnt have a clue when the leak was.Discount Drains charged no inspection fee and was able to find the leak efficiently and didnt charge a fee to cut the drywall either. The cost for the reapir was $463. The Eco Plumber estimated $546 for the same repair. Discount Drains was $463 total, where as the Eco Plumber would have been over $1000 with all the additional fees and inspection cost. So glad I went with Discount Drains!

    Discount Drains did a great job. I hired them to fix gas piping issues to my backup Generator for my house. They came to evaluate my project the same day I called, and repaired it the next day. They fixed problems that my previous plumber had caused and had refused to admit were problems. The Generator had not been working, Generator company said it was gas piping issues, old plumber who did original hookup and subsequent maintenance refused to accept that ā€“ but Discount Drains immediately identified several problems with existing gas plumbing, re-piped the gas feed, and surprise ā€“ the Generator fired right up and ran for the first time in months. Great work.

    I had an issue with gas leaks at my house and discount drains accommodated me very quickly Anne got to work right away on the leaks.
