Five stars is not enough, lets double it for this review.We cannot say enough about the professionalism of Callahan Plumbing.Christmas day, after our annual Christmas Eve family and friends party of over 30 people we woke up to a plugged sanitary sewer which backed up into the house and basement. Merry Christmas to me.After the massive cleanup we were able to get minimal flow and discovered that the sewer pipe was broken, a major repair!Callahan to the rescue! I called them and Phil promptly responded about the emergency.He redirected a crew over immediately, hand excavated the front yard, broke out the concrete wall and repaired the broken piping.They back filled and compacted the front yard as if they were never there.Outstanding work, highly recommend Callahan Plumbing and they will be our go to guy for all our plumbing needs. At a time when you are most vulnerable; a repair like this you would be willing to pay anything and with the wrong contractor you could be gouged. Not with Phil, his pricing was much cheaper than I expected.It is so refreshing to work with true professionals.Phil, I thank you and commend you and your men for an outstanding job well done in our hour of need.Happy New Year,Faith and Dave DuBois

Highly recommended! Very professional and responsive. I had a burst pipe due to the sub-zero temps and the team at Callahan was able to fit me in same day and had the issue fixed quickly.

Need some basic plumbing work done that required some older toilets (30+ years) being removed and replaced. I spoke with Oscar on the phone and we had a nice discussion. Said he could provide the toilets or we could buy them ourselves. That was it, no upselling, no trying to sway me to purchase the products through them. Just the facts. The wife and I decided to buy the toilets ourselves and have them install.Jeff came by later that week after Oscar and I worked out the details. Thorough, didnt rush, and from what I can tell - did absolute quality work. Im not a very handy man myself, but Jeffs candor, honesty, skill, and sense of humor had me trusting him completely.Callahan Plumbing is top notch in my opinion. Any and all plumbing needs we will look no further than Callahan.

Very good people here at Callahan plumbing. I decided to repack my packing nut on my main shut off valve. Well after busting that nut off stripping cover bolt and cutting off the handle. I decided to call them to put a new shut valve in. They were quick to come over and honestly priced. I will be using them again. Thank you Oscar and Adrian

I work for a church in Lemont and we recently had an issue where our pipes were backed up and flooding one of the downstairs bathrooms. After calling for septic repair on Thursday morning and finally having someone come in late Friday morning, we were told that it was a problem we would have to call a plumber for. It was after lunch on a Friday and we needed to have the issue taken care of and cleaned up for Sunday services. Knowing that it was unlikely we would be able to get someone in before the end of the day, I wasnt expecting much, but the woman who took our call was very helpful and professional. She called me back within 10 minutes (a rarity nowadays) and let us know that someone would be at the church in 5-10 minutes. The men they sent knew what the issue was right away, took care of it quickly, and were incredibly neat. Best of all, they were very reasonably priced! We will be using Callahan for all of our plumbing needs from now on and would not hesitate to recommend them to others!

I had to have my eject pump replaced. The plumber who worked replacing it had suggested a less costly pump since I do not have a bathroom downstairs. I appreciated his suggestion and to care enough to do so.The men were pleasant and efficient.

Face it - my wife and I are doing a kitchen / bath remodel and for all those DIYers out there sometimes we can can only go so far. DIY projects are fun, but every DIYer reaches a point where a pro is needed. Oscar of Tom Callahan plumbing are excellent and did a fantastic job. A real pleasure to have a solid professional know what he is doing and doing what he does. Great experience all the way around - arrival, job, explanation, clarity, cleanup, friendly, knowledgeable, timely, pricing. Five stars and many thanks.
