Amazing job on our new covered porch. Made recommendations for where to place outlets, LED lighting because bugs are not attracted to it, even an outlet with inside switch for our Christmas lights. One morning, while getting my son ready for school I heard a loud unidentifiable noise coming from the front of my house only to discover that my chandelier style light fixture was hanging in my 2 story foyer by 2 wires about to crash on the ground. If this fixture had fallen it would have crashed onto our stair well inevitably shattered all of the glass sconces and light bulbs in which case we would have had damage and unimaginable shreds of glass everywhere. With a toddler and a dog I can’t even imagine.I was put in contact with Jeremy, who within 2 hours of my call, arrived here after having to stop what he was doing, go get a trailer to transport a gigantic ladder to our house and “saved the day”! It sounds dramatic but I am so thankful he helped us and didn’t even hesitate to come here. While he fixed our fixture (the electrical box broke in the ceiling) he also noticed that our hallway light had the same issue with a broken electrical box. He replaced it for us as well. Additionally given the emergent nature of our situation, he did not overcharge us for anything and he could have easily charged whatever he wanted because we had no choice.Fast forward to today... I had an potential “electrical issue” and I called him up and over the phone he helped me troubleshoot my issue!! I hope he is happy to have met me because as far as I am concerned he has a customer for life!!! Thank you Jeremy and Electrical Works, you guys are the BEST!!

It was a big job -- upgrading an older house, doubling the electrical input, and arranging and rewiring a new panel, of course. Jeremy came highly recommended by people who would know. He was fantastic! Professional, competent, prompt, fast, and even diligent in coordinating permits and inspections from Metro and NES. We were completely satisfied with him as a person and as an electrician. I would give him the highest possible recommendation! This is a terrific company and Im thrilled to write a review so others can benefit from this company.

Jeremy and his team came highly recommended by a friend and local home inspector. My electrical need teetered between residential and commercial—two other electricians said, “Nope, not gonna do it.” Jeremy took a look, submitted a fair quote explaining what was involved and said “We’re ready to go when you are.” He and his team worked carefully around both our schedule and property always keeping us up-to-date on progress and inspections. Jeremy at Electrical Works helped us upgrade the electrical service at our 1950s home. We had to replace an old pushmatic panel and upgrade from 100 to 200 amps. They did a great job relocating it to the exterior of the home, installing new exterior conduit and meter, and identifying circuits. They also completed a variety of items on the interior like installing GFCI outlets for each circuit, installing wired smoke detectors, installing new outlets in the bathroom and closet, and changing 3-prong outlets out for existing 2-prong outlets. Communication was great throughout the process. Id highly recommend working with them for any residential electrical service!

I had two experiences with Electrical Works.A large tree fell on the house destroying one bedroom and damaging two. Had to rewrite that section of house. They had to trace down the old wiring in order to rewire. They also corrected other incorrect and damaged wiring. Excellent job.I also had a tree fall onto electrical wire coming from utility pole to the house. The riser was bent double and old meter box was damaged. They came the next day to repair. I had to pay emergency rates but repair was done in one day so I had power back without too much inconvenience. Great job.

The electricians at Electrical Works have done a lot of work on our 90 year old house. They have swapped 40 2 prong plugs for 3 prongs, installed 240V electric lines and circuit breakers, installed lights in the work room and closets, installed overhead fans, and installed outdoor lights. They arrive when they say theyll arrive, they do what they say theyll do, they charge what they say theyll charge, and they are kind when we revise what we asked for. My wife and I both enjoy seeing them.

We contacted Electrical works during a high volume time immediately after a storm had hit the neighborhood. They were very professional, gave us an accurate assessment of what needed to be done and were on time and very professional in getting the work done and restoring service to our home. They also informed us of the entire process which involved contacting the Nashville Electric Service to have them inspect the work and actually finish the process by turning on the electrical service. We were very pleased and would certainly use them again.
