    I have used a few Heating and Air-conditioning companies over my years in Utah. Smedleys is the only one that I have received consistent quality service from every time, they are now my first call. One technician in particular that has been to my house several times is Bill.     We have been with Smedleys for years. They installed both our central air and new furnace. They have always given us great quality service. Riley, who did our service today was just great to work with and efficient and friendly. That is true across all the employees and techs we have had. Would definitely recommend Smedleys for big jobs or small!

    Riley, Derrick, Carson, and Vince recently installed a new AC heating system in our home. They did an excellent job and were professional and courteous. Riley had the dubious job of explaining the new thermostat as well as helping set up the app so we could control it with our phones.We have used Smedleys Heating and Plumbing for years and always been happy!

    Bill and Layne did the yearly service on my water heater today. All seemed to go well. Bill also checked that my water softener was functioning properly. I appreciated that he was looking at the big picture to make sure all of the appliances were doing what we expect if them. Bill and Layne were courteous. Smedleys always does great work.

    Randy and Riley are fantastic! They pointed out other issues with the previous installation they replaced the water heater the same day I called. They covered the carpet so it didn’t get wet. Excellent and knowledgeable work , I will always use Smedley!!

    Layne our tech did a fantastic job. He had to run new copper piping for our 3 water heaters for our business. We have purchased a few water heaters and have had a few service calls.     Bill corrected a problem that was probably close to 50 years old and caused our drains to clog quite frequently. Gave us a price that Scott Hale and Whipple were going charge $3500 MORE for. Seriously!! I’ve always been happy with their work and will continue to avail their service.

    Smedley HVAC provides both great Mechanical and Customer Service! I would rate them a 10+. I talked to Amy and Jeri at Smedley’s on Monday, 9/25/23 to get a quote to replace my Lennox Furnace. Their techs, Jared and Vince were at my home the same day and provided a quote which was substantially lower than the quote from another well known HVAC company, for the same Lennox Furnace. I had other appointments that week, or they would have installed on Wednesday. They installed on Friday and they did a great job! Their techs, Shawn and Randy were very professional, friendly and cleaned up after the install. Everyone at Smedley has been great to work with, and are honest and fair in their business dealings! I highly recommend Smedley Service to family and friends.

    I recdeived quotes from 3 HVAC companies after reviewing several at BBB. I received the best quote from smedleys. The install was very smooth and done in one day. The installers were very informative at showing me the features of the system, cleaning up comletely, and doing a great job.

    Left a message with Smedley service for a whole new HVAC and water heater. My call was returned same day with an over-the-phone estimate. The next day an in home estimate and load test were completed for accuracy. 2 days later and they were here to install everything all in one day.I couldn’t be happier with their service and workmanship.     I called to have Smedley’s do an estimate for my parents older home. They were hoping to get a ductless air conditioning unit. (Sorry not sure the actual name) the lady on the phone was so kind and helpful. Kyle called to let me know when he would be there and helped answer all the questions. Then Shawn and the other man (sorry could not remember his name) installed the unit and help teach my parents how to use the machine. They had a great conversation with my parent, and that is a bonus for me. Thank you Smedley’s for the personal touch.

    We have an obsolete boiler system, and it quit working. But it didnt take the tech long to figure out the problem and get it working again.Showed up on the early end of the service interval scheduled, got the job done pretty quickly, price was more than fair.Im actually kind of stunned at the surprisingly good value and professionalism.I recommend Smedley & Associates.

    I had an issue with my furnace and A/C and I called and spoke with Amy to troubleshoot my problem. She kindly took the time to explain a couple different scenarios and helped me isolate the problem over the phone. I was able to fix it without needing a tech to come out.     Wonderful experience start to finish with this company. Our AC needed replacement and Kyle came out same day and gave me a quote. He gave us several options. We had another company quote us and the quote they gave was $100 less for a better quality AC. I asked how much to tune up our furnace and they did it no charge. I will recommend.

    My water heater ended up breaking and I needed a new one replaced. I called and spoke to the wonderfully nice woman Amy. Their next available appt was Friday(This was on a Tuesday). She said hold on and she worked her magic and was able to send over a team that morning. Bill and Layne were the ones that came and replaced the water heater within one hour. Both were extremely kind and professional. Bill also went out of his way and checked our water hardness and adjusted our water softner to be more efficient for our water hardness level. Checking the water and adjusting goes a long way in my book and I could not be any more grateful and happy with Smedley Service. 10/10

    Went in today just to ask if they could fix a smart thermostat, which the type of repair it needed they couldnt do, but they did have the same model and the one step down. and even let me look at the step down version so i could see if it was the same base mount(everything was the same and i bought it, minus some features). every other place i tried just wanted to send a tech and get a diag fee. if i ever need parts again ill stop by here.

    Absolutely amazing service! I manage a UPS Store and our A/C unit was not working. I called they were super informative, and easy to work with. They were able to get a technician out to our location within a few hours of calling and had our unit repaired in less than 30 minutes. Phenomenal!

    Over the past few months Smedleys have done a tremendous amount of work with regard to our basement redevelopmentFirstly, they had to remove the BEAST of a furnace etc. and then replace it with a new furnace and water heating system. Not an easy job by any means. Their work was top class and their price was very competitive.Thanks to their recommendation I found a great contractor that they had previously worked with. Later the guys from Smedleys did a terrific job on creating and installing a shower room and all the kitchen plumbing required. Throughout I cant fault their professionalism,workmanship and above all their sense of humour on what was a really difficult jobMy thanks to Randy, Shawn and all the rest of the Smedleys team.

    The SMEDLEY CO. Is the absolute BEST!! Jared and Vince came on time and fixed my furnace in 20 mins! They were exceptionally professional and very nice to have in my home. They fixed the thermostat problem in 20 mins even after testing it several times. They charge very reasonable rates as well NEVER USE ANYONE ELSE!!They fixed a thermostat problem that Any Hour Service messed completely up and charged me a fortune!! NEVER NEVER give them the chance to even knock on your door. They are facing many lawsuits and you dont want to have to face that in addition to being totally rooked out of your money.Again, SMEDLEY IS FANTASTIC and you can trust them to do the job the right way.     Last Saturday I awoke and discovered our furnace was not working. My husband suggested we call Smedley’s for service. The service technician arrived within a half hour and had my furnace up and running in less than an hour. He was great! He even wore booties on his feet while in my house. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Smedley’s for all your heating and air conditioning needs. In today’s world it is hard to find companies that value customer service. Smedley’s has it in spades!

    I was referred to Smedley by a friend.I had a hvac company come out a month ago to fix a problem. They replaced a part and charged me $205. A/c wasRunning ok when they left but progressively got warmer. Upon looking into it, the coils were filled with grass clippings, spider webs,& dirt. I was surprised that they hadn’t maintained that, since I paid $205 for a 15 minute visit? Upon calling the other company,(Comfort Systems), they said that I would need to schedule a “maintence” if I needed anything other than a diagnostic. For REAL?!Your technician is already out here and can’t do a job, even if it’s an extra fee??”!?Smedley came out and tested the air and CLEANED the a/c and I will only use them in the future.

    I was nervous about being taken advantage of due to my ignorance. But on the contrary, the technician did only the work that was needed, and even fixed and did not charge something he mistakenly bumped and nudged out of place when my cat brushed up against his leg. He could have easily charged me and I wouldn’t have known the difference. Smedley is my new favorite.

    This is the most honest contractor I have ever dealt with. They come on time, the do the work that needs to be done, and ONLY the work that needs to be done. If the fix is a simple and inexpensive one, they do it. They have only tried to convince me I need new equipment when I really needed it.

    Gary was absolutely incredible! They worked to get our furnace replced with our home warranty, they really went to bat for us. They were always punctual and kept us updated on install and products. Very professional and courteous. We will use them for all of our properties going forward and even our personal residence. We have never felt more confident in the information and recommendations we were given. I would absolutely recommend them!

    I just had Smedleys replace the HVAC system in my house, and they did a stellar job. Totally please with the whole process. I knew my system was dying, so I was in the process of getting bids. First, Neldon gave me a detailed bid with numerous options as to level of product and price. When my system actually died, Gary helped me pick out the best options for my budget, and then dispatched a repairman to get my old unit bandaided together so wed have AC on 100+ degree days until they could get us installed. And that was AT NO COST! The install went well, and quite pleased how things look. When I had some concerns about whether the system was working properly, they sent out Shawn, the service manager, who checked everything out for me. Id highly recommend them...they didnt need to patch up my old AC for free, and of the 4 bids I got, they gave me the best value as far as equipment vs. price.

    Our 15 yr. old AC has been acting up for a month and finally died 2 days ago. We called Smedley and Associates from whom we bought the last one. Nelden came the next day, gave us our options, and we decided to buy a new AC Unit. I begged him to get it installed the next day knowing it’s their busiest time, and that the chances were slim. We had family arriving from Hawaii and big family party in 2 days. Nelden put forth the effort and was able to get a technician to, indeed, install it the next day! Grady showed up at 8:30 am and worked straight through to 3:30pm and got it done. He was courteous and left everything perfect. It was a big job! I am extremely grateful for the fabulous service and for going the extra mile for us.

    I’ve been using Smedley‘s for 7 years and I have never been disappointed by how they treat me. My heater stopped working Late last night they came out first thing in the morning. There were two things that could be wrong so they went and got the parts for me came back within a couple hours and instead Having to buy both parts, they tried one first and that fixed the issue so my bill fell by 50% because both parts were very expensive. I appreciated their honesty and willingness to do that saving me so much money all the staff is very friendly and kind I’m really glad I chose them To service my HVAC
