    Today Chris replaced a faulty toilet and installed a new faucet on our kitchen sink. We bought the faucet a few weeks ago but haven’t had time to install it. We knew he would get it done better and faster than we would anyway! Chris arrived on time and did an excellent job! We are very pleased with his work and friendly service.Chris is a true professional and we highly recommend him! Beth works at the office and she is awesome too!

    The entire staff is fantastic from the time you call them until the job is done. They are always on time, they text or email messages to you as to who is coming to do the work. Caleb and Chase worked so hard today and made it look so simple. New hot water heater, re-did a bunch of messed up old furnace duct work and replaced all of the old gas line fittings to modern up to code gas shut offs. This is the 4th or 5th time Ive had them out here helping me with my farm house remodel job. Great job guys, Thanks again!!

    Chris identified my plumbing issues immediately and took care of them. His demeanor was calm cool and collected and I appreciated that. Chris over all is a an amazing service technician and asset to Michigan Heating,Cooling & Plumbing. Thanks Chris for doing a fantastic job!!!! As for the rest of the company I would have to assume they are just as good as the technician they sent out. Because when I called to schedule the appointment to repair my plumbing. The woman who answered the phone was extremely nice and helpful. She made me feel very comfortable about what needed to be done at my house. And that’s half the battle when scheduling a repair. I hope this review helps others make the decision to go with Michigan Heating , Cooling & plumbing.

    I can’t recommend Michigan Heating, Cooling & Plumbing highly enough! I need 10 stars!!! Chris came out to diagnose our on demand hot water heater problem last year and worked directly with the manufacturer to get the unit (installed by a different plumbing company) replaced. I was so impressed with Chris that I promised to have MHC&P out to quote our AC replacement this year.Caleb came out to review our heating and cooling needs, recommended replacement units and some changes to improve efficiency. He provided a reasonable quote that allowed me to make choices that fit my budget. Jared and Andrew AKA “Butters” arrived on time, worked clean and safe in my home, and explained our new systems thoroughly. They’re also great singers! We love our new furnace, AC, humidifier, air filtration system, and thermostat.

    We needed a hot water heater that was very narrow. Michigan Heating, cooling and plumbing was able to locate a vendor that had what we needed.     Everyone was very professional and efficient. Our technician Trae was running late but the office called and let me know, so no problem there. When Trae arrived he apologized for being late and got right to work. He finished and cleaned up and was polite and efficient throughout the appointment.I would highly recommend Michigan Heating and Cooling.

    WOW just WOW, Trea Hill was great, he was in and out in less than an hour. I know about heating and cooling I work on commercial system at work and just knew my furnace is very old and needed to be replaced and let Trea know, So I was shocked when Trea came up and said Ive got it running and ran the numbers on it and you wont have to worry about it, it may need to be replaced next year but its running great. Now the price blew my mind, I wont post the charges but it was more than $ 200.00 dollars LESS than what I was expecting. I will never touch a residential furnace or A/ C unit again for myself or friends. I will call Michigan Heating and Cooling service, what a great company.     Let me first say they installed a new furnace for my mom. The team was awesome. Treated her very good and they went way above and beyond to fix something another company had installed and serviced poorly.But it was at a point where it didnt make sense to spend any more money on that one. The prior company put a furnace that was to big for her house (over sold her because she didnt know better) and it wasnt getting enough return air.So we decided to replace it. Now let me tell you there is a lot to getting the right furnace these days. Matt came out and we came up with a plan. Then Joe and Ben came out to install the new one. Joe and Ben spent a lot of extra time building the right amount if return air ducts and made sure this was the right furnace for her house. They were genuinely concerned about her. We felt pretty lucky we got them as our installers. Both of them explained every step of the way! They were awesome and made sure everything was right before they said the job was complete.She has heat now, thanks to their team. I appreciate you all taking care of my mom!!!I highly recommend Michigan Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electric and when its time for my house we are going to give them a call!!!

    We have been without AC for 3 years and we finally decided to get a whole new Furnace and AC system installed.We are extremely pleased with all the work done by Michigan Heating and cooling. The technicians Jarod, Josh, and James were outstanding. They worked 2 long days to ensure all the work was done quickly and with high quality. They also added new duct work to the second floor where non existed before, and connected all the returns that were never finished.We have six kids and they want to personally thank them for making their rooms comfortable again.I would give all these guys a raise, promotion, bonus.... something!!!😉 they deserve to be recognized!!!Thanks guys, and everyone at Michigan heating and cooling!!!

    The guys that installed my AC units and furnacesAndrew Butterfield and James weregreat at explaining things, and very professional.Jared, G one of the managers at Michigan heating and cooling recommended a AC unit that works like a dimmer switch. The one on the left in the picture. I went with one being the fancier better unit just because I figured I would give it a try.Now I’ve called back a week later to have the two stage 16 seer, possibly replaced with the recommended unit by Jared as it works much better than the 16 seerI’m my opinion. It is way quieter and having no trouble cooling over 2000 ft.²The 16 seer is also cooling 2000 ft.² and doing a good job but after one week I have just falling in love with the small quieter unit.

    These guys are pros from start to finish. From the initial planning phase of my geothermal install until the last checkup they returned my calls, listened to my concerns, and made sure I knew everything I needed to know to operate my new furnace. I was so impressed with their work I ended up adding on a couple more plumbing projects I had been putting off, all completed professionally with top knotch quality parts. If youre looking to get work done big or small check these guys out, they take their business very seriously.     The seal on the pipes for my geothermal entering the house separated from the house, allowing water to enter when it rains. Alec arrived right on time, dug out the old product and replaced with cement and tar. I was very pleased with his work!

    100% recommend! I had a rough job - almost a complete boiler overhaul that had a domino effect of problems - and the team was super accommodating. BETH was a delight every time I spoke to her, and even did extra research to secure the correct parts for our old system. ALEC was absolutely incredible!     My wife reached out to Michigan heating, cooling, plumbing and electric as our hot water heater was reaching the end of its usefulness.     I had an issue with my whole house Generac. I will spare you the horror story of the customer service department for Generac and just tell you about the extreme professionalism of Michigan Heating and Cooling. Trae Hill was the technician that worked on my generator. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He is truly a jack of all trades. He started by replacing the motor, then the mother board, and finally installed the replacement unit after Generac finally agreed to just replace the unit after 11 months of not working (it was only 7 months old when it quit working). He even came back for 2 hours when I could not get the new generator to connect to my home wifi and worked with me until we finally got it connected. It turned out that it was the app itself was trying to connect to the old unit and we needed tech support from the app to fix it, which Trae did by spending 30 plus minutes on the phone with them. He is a true class act. Now as much as I would like to keep bragging about Trae the real hero in this story is Beth in the office. Words cannot express how much respect I have for her. She is the reason all of this finally got done. She made dozens of phone calls and sent countless emails to Generac on my behalf. When she did not get the result she wanted, she did not call me and say sorry I did my best. She moved up the ladder at Generac until she finally did get the answer she wanted. Her customer was her main concern and she never quit until she got me a new generator. Michigan Heating and Cooling will have my business forever (yours as well if you want great service) and they should count their blessings to have employees like Beth and Trae. Thank you again to the both of you for never giving up and finally getting me taken care of. Truly class acts both of you.

The company provided me a text link showing a picture of the service technician and GPS to track the driver. Chris arrived within 30 minutes, diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes and had the element replaced within 15 minutes. Chris was very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable.     Im very pleased with the service I received from Michigan Heating, Cooling and plumbing. We just purchased a new home with a Navien heating system which my husband and I knew nothing about. Trae was my heating service technician and was very informative on helping us learn about how the system works. We also had a non functioning water softener system which was very old.Chris was our plumbing technician. He checked our system out and explained what was happening as to why it was not working and he would try to help fix it, but it was very old and parts would be tough to find. We decided on a new water softener system and it will be installed next week. Both technicians were on time, very nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Michigan Heating and Cooling.

    Had a great experience with Michigan Heating and Cooling.Our Furnace went out in the middle of winter, I called and was serviced right away!Unfortunately for us our Furnace needed to be replaced (it was 23 years old), but the service throughout the whole process was great!Donny came by, measured our unit, and quoted us for a new one. After that Joe & Ben came out and installed it. Behind the scenes Katie was calling and giving updates and after it was installed called she confirmed everything went well.All in all great service!     We had a great experience with Michigan Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. Our technician, Trae, came out and diagnosed our AC problem and within an hour Joe was there to give us a quote. Unfortunately the AC unit in the older home we recently moved into was just old and needed replacing. Joe gave us an estimate with 3 different options and he helped make a decision on what would be best for the size of our home and our needs. We ended up purchasing a furnace and ac unit. Within a couple days, James and Andrew came out for the installation and we were kept up to speed on everything they were doing and they answered any questions we had along the way. All 4 guys that came out were courteous and very helpful. I highly recommend Michigan Heating, Cooling and Plumbing.

    Early on the morning of January 5, I noticed that my geothermal furnace was not working. Neither the compressor or aux heat were working. MHC&P was able to send their tech, Alec, out later that same afternoon. Alec was very professional, and made every effort to get the unit working again, however, he verified that the 25 yr old compressor was no longer receiving power through the system. He suggested that it was not feasible to fix the old unit reasonably, and suggested that I consider replacing the geo furnace with a new one that is more efficient and under warranty. He was able to have Donny from MHC&P provide me with a replacement cost estimate the following Monday. The company was also kind enough to loan me 3 electric space heaters to help us make it through the cold weather. Much appreciated!Follow-up: The final installation of my new geothermal furnace (Water Furnace) took place on Jan. 18. It was a one day / two man operation that was completed by Andrew Butterfield and David Hart. These men were very knowledgeable and professional. They treated our home well, and took care to not drag dirty shoes on our floors or damage anything in our home while hauling the old furnace out and bringing the new one in. They worked hard and were very friendly while making the new installation look better than the one they removed. They provided clear operational instructions for the new geo, and it works great. The service was just as good as I expected, and the performance of these two guys reflects well upon MHC&P.

    Trae Hill came out and fixed our geo thermal unit for us and did an amazing job! The first time he came out he was very kind and informative. We knew nothing about our unit as we just recently bought the house. He took the time to show me everything and answer all my question. A part needed to be order and he came back out today to finish the job. He did a great job, was on time and was able to troubleshoot and fix all the problems we had with our until and thermostat.     We had A/C, furnace, tankless water heater, and water softener installed by Michigan heating and Cooling in early 2022. The entire staff has been amazing. We have a new born child and had a failure to the mother board of our furnace.     All the team is professional, knowledgeable, and efficient: Chris did an excellent job on plumbing repair, as well as advising me what would be needed for the heating and plumbing drainage system. Ben and Joe were also very helpful on installing a whole house humidifier, explaining how to use the system, and what to look for while its running; they plumbed all the drainage hoses to the crock so its out of the way, simplified, and neat.     I have lived in this 22 year old house for a little over a year. It had problems with the plumbing and with the furnace. Ive have had outstanding service every time Ive needed plumbing repair and the installation of a new furnace.Katie and Beth have been five star every time Ive needed help. They know more about plumbing and heating than I do. they made me feel like and old friend when we spoke.Chris, Caleb, Trae, Ben and Joe have been five star every time they have done a job for me. They have been on time, professional, polite, concerned about not making a mess in the house and done the job a lot faster than I expected.Jared impressed me, when my furnace broke down.He listened to my explanation of the problem that I was having. He found the problem and explained it to me so I could understand. I decided to replace the furnace. Jared prepared and explained three estimates to me. Each estimate was broke down by the items that would have to replaced and the cost of the items including labor. There was no pressure for me to decide on the most expensive furnace.     Our furnace went out on a Tuesday. They came out the same day. The first guy that came out was FANTASTIC. I cant remember that guys name. Super thorough, and found the problem. Unfortunately, we needed a new furnace. The sales rep came out the same day too. We ordered a new furnace and the following Tuesday it was installed. They offered us use of space heaters, but we luckily did not need them. The installers were Ben and Joe. They were super nice! Very professional. Extremely knowledgeable.     Woke up and had no heat in my water heater. Called around and couldn’t find anyone to come look at it same day but Michigan Heating, Cooling & Plumbing took my call and had a tech on they way. My guy Chris W. had a tracking device on him so I can see where he was and had eyes on him all through the way. He showed up and right away got a good feeling from him. He looked at my water heater and knew what the problem was. Bad part was that my water heater is in a small, cramped area and he went to work with no issue. He took the time to troubleshoot my issues and fix the unit without attempting to sell me anything extra.     Michigan heating and cooling is definitely one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. We had a shady contractor from Troy absolutely destroy our home, leave unfinished, unsafe, and shoddy work for us to deal with. Matt showed up, found many problems with the work that was done and very quickly drew up a plan for us that we can afford. The work consisted of furnace, ac, and major duct replacement and upgrades. They also installed a gas heater in the garage and fixed shoddy gas pipe work done by the original rip off artist. Within a couple weeks joe and his team, Ben, Aaron, Tyler, nick, and Chris showed up and worked for several days to remove everything and re install all HVAC equipment. They showed up early, stayed late and were extremely polite. They kindly walked us through ever single aspect of the job every single day. These guys were very very professional and are very good at what they do. The boss Caleb, and Jared showed up periodically to make sure everything was going well and make sure were all on the same page. We would definitely recommend Michigan heating and cooling to everyone we know and we will also call on them in the future if needed.Just as an observation I believe Tyler is the brains of the operation for sure.

    We recently had them out to install a new furnace, air conditioning unit, and on-demand water heater. Corey and Joe were the two main installers the three days of work they were in our home. These two were amazing! So patient with our questions and all the nuances of our home, which I know was not easy for them to deal with. I cannot recommend this company enough.     We had a problem with very uneven heating/cooling in our home. The obvious fix was cheaper but not optimal. We live in a manufactured home and in my experience, many repairmen assume we aren’t able or interested in fixing things the right way, which is usually more costly. MH&C gave us the facts and a choice. My husband and I wanted a permanent solution to the problem and chose the more expensive fix. They came to our home 3 times, and had to work in dirt and tight spaces with spiders. They did it with smiles and nothing but pleasant, courteous remarks. Very professional. We liked their service well enough that we called them again months later when we had furnace issues!

    5-Star is truly a FIVE Star company. We have called them on weekends, after hours, and on the VERY COLDEST day of the year. They have always been able to get us appointment to keep our family WARM. They go above and beyond there normal duties.     Had just bought a house, and had a $250 electric bill for 13 days of the billing cycle. Heating just was not functioning properly. Contact MI HC and made an appointment. Got a text that morning that the tech, with their name on it, was on their way. They arrived on schedule and immediately went to work. The technician was able to find the root of the problem and was able to do his magic to make it work properly. I now have a warm house, and still have money in my bank account because of MI HCs reasonable service call prices. As they are pretty much a one stop shop for a majority of interior home issues, I will definitely utilize them again.Side note: Their technicians arent all trained in all aspects of heating, cooling, plumbing, and electric. You might need a different technician for each of the categorical needs that the company offers. Not a flaw, just a realization.
