    The service I received from start to finish was fantastic. The prices for service are very reasonable. I like it that they bill you by 1/4 hour increments. Mark was my plummer and he was early to the appointment and fast and thorough. A real professional!!! HT Strenger is the only place to go, if you go elsewhere you will most likely be sorry.

    Top-notch service all around! Received excellent customer service with Jamie on the phone. Danny serviced our 6+ year old water heater (installed by a previous plumber).     This is not an inexpensive service, but sometimes you get what you pay for. The appointment process is seamless with fast response time, the plumbers are good at what they do, easy to work with, and most importantly, resolve your plumbing issues.     Zach (I believe this was his name) visited our home on Jan 4. He did a quick inspection and his recommendations were completely reasonable. I ended up replacing the ancient battery backup for my main sump and holding off on replacing the other sump, which was relatively new. He did great work on the replacement and rigged up a custom cover for the sump pit - it actually looks really professional now! He also helped clear one of my outside faucets which had frozen, and is the only person to have realized the origin of my water pressure issue in my kitchen. That latter saved us a $400 system backflush - it was a simple $25 part. Will certainly rehire as plumbing needs arise.

    Long-time customer with HT Strenger and love their services!! Recently had Brad to our house to investigate some banging pipes.     We needed our old cast iron sewer line replaced. Zach and his team located it and I quickly was given a fair quote. Questions were responded to quickly. Zach and his team were very professional and knowledgeable. They had to dig down 9ft and replace 50ft of pipe and got the job done in one day. They managed to save our irrigation valve box that was very close to the sewer and no damage was done to our driveway. They also replaced a leaking outside faucet for us the same day and installed an inside shut off valve. I would hire again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

    Had Mark out today to do a fireplace gas valve replacement. We need to order a new gas valve and do the installation in a few days. While Mark was here I had him install two water shutoff valves to outdoor spigots and replace one leaky outdoor spigot. He was very quick, explained what he was going to do, and was very friendly. Mark passes what I would call the Mother-in-law test. If I had Mark sent out to my mother-in-laws house, would I have any worries about the install? I would feel 100% confident with Mark working there. In my book if you dont have worries about sending a trade to your mother-in-law, then they are good to use! The back-office also did a great job setting up the appointment and also confirming the morning of and giving me an accurate estimate on arrival time.Assuming the fireplace fix the following week goes well, we will definitely be using HT Strenger and Mark for our plumbing needs going forward.

    H.T. Strenger sent Zack out to rod our sewer and they found that the line was collapsed, causing sewage to back up into our fully finished basement. Jake in the office explained what the repairs would entail & was able to get his excavator scheduled ASAP to help us. They were able to come out the next day to repair our sewer line and get everything working properly! They are very professional, on time and neat. We’re very pleased and recommend them.

    Tyler came out and installed our toilet for the powder room. He was very polite and professional! He took the time to make sure everything was flushing properly.     Last Wednesday when it was -25 I called HT Strenger about a sump pump problem. I was expecting them to say we are currently backed up because of the weather and will get to your issue as soon as possible. Instead they asked me what my problem was (frozen sump pump pipe) and realizing the serious nature of the problem had a plumber out within one hour. Brad immediately knew how to fix the problem and put my mind at ease. He was professional, courteous and efficient (finished in less than an hour). Fantastic job.

    I had H.T. Strenger come out to dig up and repair my main sewer pipe which had cracked just outside the foundation wall. They were here right on time, and they got the entire job done in less than one day. Best of all, they were able to complete the project without leaving any mess behind.     Hey All,The cold snap froze pipes in a newly remodeled bathroom. We came back from Florida with water everywhere. Of course we shut off the water, but this meant no water anywhere in the house until a plumber came out.We called Strenger and they had someone out fast to cap supply lines (to isolate broken pipes) so we could use water in the rest of the house.This morning Mark from Strenger was out to do the rest of the job. I thought this meant tearing into tiled walls in a newly refinished bathroom. He and a helper figured out a way to fix 3 frozen pipes from behind quickly, neatly and without a mess - all the new tile was untouched.     I had an excellent experience with HT Strenger. They came to my house to fix an underground water line that cracked. After calling another company to give me a quote( Duane Blanton) they gave me a price of $2750. After I changed my underwear I told him no thank you & then called Brad from HT Strenger. Before working for your company, Brad had fixed an underground line that broke about 7 years ago. I was impressed with his work & he didn’t charge me an arm and a leg, so I called him to see what he would charge. He informed me that he was working for your company & gave me the # to call & make an appointment. He then came out & temporarily fixed the pipe so I could at least shower & the following week came back to fix permanently. After all was done & I got my invoice, it ended up being $2,065 less than what I was quoted by the scam artists at Duane Blanton. Needless to say I am very happy with your company & with Brad. I tell all my friends & family to use your company for all their plumbing needs. Words can’t express how thankful I am that there are still honest companies out there.

    Ive been working with plumbers for years, and I cant honestly say that Ive had a great experience working with any of them, that is...until I started working with HT Strenger!David is a consummate professional. On my first day working with him he arrived on-site in Lake Forest around 8:00 am CST and I assumed hed only be there to perform an assessment of what needed to be serviced at the property (like all the other companies/guys Ive had come visit the house Im looking to renovate over the last year or so). This was not the case at all.Davids work van was fully equipped (like a plumbing supply store on wheels), and so was his work belt.From the moment he walked into my familys home, he started working. No complaints. No fuss. No waste-of-time here. He didnt shy away from literally any of the challenging issues that all the other plumbers who had an opportunity to earn my business did. All the other guys were full of a bunch of excuses, or reasons why they couldnt start the work, whereas David was an avid problem-solver. He claimed my job was easy compared to many of the other jobs hes had to handle.He simply fixed everything in sight, like some sort of terminator-like machine from the future. Lol. Im still blown away by my experiences with this company and David. Like...in awe! This was my familys entire conversation at dinner the other night.Weve been wanting to de-winterize the home for a little over a year now, as the home has been winterized for over 5+ years.David lifted his entire trades reputation on his shoulders in such a positive light. With all the negative reputation many people often associate with plumbers, David was the exact opposite of other disappointing plumbers who would charge an arm and a leg for such mediocre, almost lazy service.He has over 40+ years experience in the trade as a licensed plumber, and is with a plumbers union. It seems as though these guys get a bad rap because they charge quite bit for plumbing services, but let me tell you, what they charge for plumbing services is worth every penny! I believe their pricing was fairly priced, as it included materials and labor, and same day repair service.They were even kind enough to inform me about a clutch club membership that saved us a ton of money during the course of our project, which involved a little over 10+ days to complete on/off.They supply the materials on-site, get started with the work right away, do so...somehow in a happy mood, and answer your questions while this is all happening. You dont feel as though theyre trying to pressure you into a sale or unnecessary repairs or modifications to the plumbing system, rather, youre encouraged as their customer to save money in avoiding costly nonsense considerations.He was calm, calculating, and upbeat about the entire scope of work, and was extremely patient and pleasant to deal with.David took his time to answer damn near a million of my questions as he was/is a wealth of knowledge for me and my family with helping us to understand the history of our property.HT Strenger seems to be a great company and they should be honored to have David on their team. Hes a superstar, and nothing seems difficult for him.Im looking forward to re-booking him again and again for all my projects (business & personal).Hes a great guy, and I enjoy his company and friendship above and beyond his professionalism and work ethic.

A colleague recommended HT Strenger and I am glad that he did as the organization exuded professionalism and efficiency top to bottom. Mark was extremely helpful, affiable and customer centered and, while I cannot say I look forward to seeing him again, for obvious reasons, hell be welcomed again with open arms should any ensuing plumbing issue manifest.     Very good service. Called last night due to the rain for our sump pump system malfunction. Someone answered the call as promised I have a return phone call on next day early morning.     We had Zack out to install a new sump pump and battery backup system. The office staff was very helpful with giving us advice over the phone on what system we should get and they were able to get us scheduled right away.     Zack from HT Strenger lead a great team to install a new pipe for my sewage system of my house and he installed two new toilets. All in less than a day! They were great and cleaned everything up and did minimal damage to anything that needed to be removed such as two side walks and my fence.     Once a friend recommended H.T. Strenger, I made the call to fix a really stubborn kitchen drain clog (that even a friend who does a lot of unclogging at his rental properties couldnt rod successfully). The initial phone call was easy, pleasant, and efficient, and David arrived exactly on schedule and much to my wondering eyes successfully cleared that stubborn pipe! He was tidy, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable . . . so i discussed a future project (replacing an elderly powder room sink) with him, and he even took photos on his phone so he would remember the details of our discussion.     When I called on Sunday, someone actually answered. Within 10 minutes, the plumber on call (Josh) called me back and helped me assess the problem over the phone.
