The only Electricians you will ever need. This was our second large job with them, I cant tell you how please we are with their work. Our basement was a rats nest of electrical problems and headaches, but Mo, Matt and all of the guys who worked on it were as always, friendly, professional and completely capable. Even when we made some changes in mid-job they were so kind and took it all in stride. Diamond Electric & their wonderful crew have made our home safe and full of light. Mo kept us appraised of the cost of each days work, and the final cost was well under the quoted amount. They are simply, the BEST.

UPDATED!!May 08, 2024Diamond Electric has done it again!! Mr. Curtis (the owner) sent out two of the hardest working, kindest, and most respectful associates that I have ever seen. “Mo” and Jason did a fantastic job! They showed up on time, and showed out! I had two exterior ceiling fans installed and an additional existing fixture replaced. Two exterior floodlights installed and an existing floodlight re-installed correctly and set them on a timer to go on at a certain time and go off at a certain time. The service was phenomenal! This is the second time that I have had Diamond Electric do work for me and they will always be my number one call for ANYTHING electrical I ever have done at my home.If I could give Curtis 500 stars on this review I certainly would! I called Curtis after a lengthy, not very successful attempt to find a local electrician near me. I read his reviews and saw his ratings and thought I would give him a try. Because he was approximately an hour to an hour and half from me he did charge a distance fee…which after being burnt by many tradesman in the past, of all trades, who said they could do what they couldn’t I was perfectly fine paying the fee. I am so privileged and thankful for the opportunity to have Curtis come out and fix some electrical issues within our home! He installed a bathroom exhaust fan, fixed almost half a dozen switches that where not installed properly from the previous owner, and was able to make 2 of our outdoor light fixtures (that hadn’t worked in 12 years) work as they should. Curtis is a God-fearing and loving gentlemen. Thank you Curtis for the blessings you have given us!

After a tree fell on our power line and another company failed to show up on Friday afternoon, Diamond Electric came to our rescue. The owner agreed to work Saturday to install a new weatherhead, showed up timely, and did the job for much less than the original companys estimate. Quality of work is top notch! Diamond Electric has earned my repeat business for projects planned in the coming years.

Amazing service, honest, trustworthy, and affordable electricians in the Region, Tri-Cities, East TN. The service we had performed was a Generator Switch and plug installed for our home. The electrician was respectful to our property, clean, and provided knowledge of the switch. He also demonstrated the safety features and how to properly use the switch and how to properly transfer power from the main grid to generator power. Curtis promptly came out to look over the work I wanted done (at no cost for the estimate) and from the moment he walked in and removed his shoes I knew this was the right company. He made some great suggestions that made for a very clean install of my in-wall speakers and Stereo receiver relocation in our game room. Not only did his guys do a great job but it ending up coming under the original estimate. Highly recommend!

I had a call from the owner after submitting my contact form online, and within a couple of days had the inspection completed and a reasonable quote provided. Mo and Matt were the technicians that completed the work in my home, and were a pleasure to work with. They kept me informed every step of the way, and always made it a point to ask before starting anything that wasn’t originally discussed. This was a big job, and even with finding additional issues with an unexpected panel upgrade and a few other things to be expected in an older home, the final price was under budget. This company is wonderful! From the time that Curtis came out to quote the job, I could tell that he could would be fair and dependable. And although his quote was cheaper than others that I received, what lead me to choose him was, he was the only one that spoke anything about God. (He had been on missions trips to where I am originally from.) And that said a lot about his character. I had to wait a couple of weeks for my job to be done but that didnt matter because I knew that it was going to be done very well. On the day of the install, BJ & Aiden were very personable and made sure that I was aware of what they were doing before anything permanent was done. Once they are finished, they made sure they put everything back where it belonged and cleaned up any mess that was made. I will definitely tell others about Diamond Electric and will be using them again!

Our house was initially built in the sixties and subsequently remodeled. We were planning to install solar panels but the junction box was not up to code.Aden and BJ worked tirelessly until midnight so power could be restored.It was a very complicated job( moving our breaker box from the bathroom to the outside wall and replacing the bricked in meter as well). This required ingenuity and planning on the fly. They were pleasant and professional and did an outstanding job.Not only that but they identified a wiring problem from a kitchen remodeling done in the eighties and have already scheduled that repair. Curtis was on the ball with scheduling and BJ was a pro at installation (trench, underground cable and conduit, sub panel and receptacles in my shed). Great attention to detail and good customer service. They clipped the siding on my house with the trencher but let me know immediately and had it professionally repaired. My only complaint is billing by the hour instead of by the job, but the work you get is worth the money so it’s water under the bridge. Very happy customer! They have done miscellaneous small repairs like checking sockets and replacing three was light switches as well as replace all our outdoor lighting and wire our home for a generator (in case we were ever had a long power outage). I highly recommend them and will absolutely be calling Diamond Electric for any electrical needs!

He knew it was a big deal we get them put in and definitely rose to the occasion! The process took a bit longer than anticipated, putting Troy working over to get it done, so Curtis showed up himself at 6pm to help him finish the job! They were amazing to work with and cheaper than any electrician weve used before but their work was far superior. They will now be our go-to people! We got Diamond Electric off of Next Door Neighbor Knob Creek from several people who had used their services. Let me say up front: This is an A+ review!! So much to like about Curtis Hagy and his associates Tim and Troy. For openers they came out to our home, ON TIME, gave us an estimate (we saw others as well) and when we hired them, they came to our home ON TIME, did the job (all three worked an 8 hour day), running conduits along our home to install a 50 amp power box for our RV. They also added additional breakers to allow this to happen. On the job they were masked, professional and very nice to us! We are using them again for at least two other jobs in the Spring. We had Diamond Electric come out and install a Sense energy meter so we can monitor our energy usage remotely. The install was fast and clean. They also informed me that whoever previously installed my Tesla Charging cable did it incorrectly. They fixed that for me, installed new breakers and fixed a few outlets. The price of fixing all of that was way cheaper than what the other company charged me just to install the tesla charging cable. I’m extremely happy with the work done and will definitely be going with them in the future.

After just purchasing our new home, we wanted to install our Ring Security System with cameras. After being HIGHLY recommended from the Next-door app, I called Diamond Electric. Made our appt and not only were they professional on the phone but our appt was moved up because of cancelations.Drew came over and installed all three of our cameras. Very sweet young man, professional, polite, and hard working. He went above and beyond to help me with different things on the cameras. After roofers left two ceiling light fixture covers cracked and scattered on our kitchen floor, I looked unsuccessfully for replacement covers. So I purchased two new fixtures with the intention of installing them myself. However, when I mentioned the project to my loving wife, she once more threated divorce or at a minimum an overnight trial separation.Learning of the domestic storm brewing at our house, one of our friends mentioned how please she and her husband had been with recent work Diamond Electric had done at their house. So, I gave them call and received an cost estimate that seemed more than reasonable to salvage a marriage.Three days later, two gentlemen arrived at the agreed upon appointment time, and proceeded to install both new fixtures in some 20 to 30 minutes. Remarkable! The were very efficient and friendly, even sharing pictures of their dogs and children.Best of all they only charged me 2/3rds of the original estimate. I was very pleased with the whole experience.And it is nice to have my wife talking to me again.My only regret is that Dimond Electric doesnt also do plumbing or deck building.

We recently relocated to Kingsport, purchasing a home with recent renovations including updated electric, which we definitely considered a plus. Following a home inspection that identified no electrical issues, the installation of a generator that included a successful electrical inspection by Kingsport City officials, we began experiencing electrical issues. Our lights would blink, power surges (I’m assuming since I’m not an electrician; therefore, don’t know correct technical terminology) destroyed our new over-the-range microwave, a new computer and left our brand new clothes dryer inoperable. All other electrical appliances would cut off during usage ....let’s just say we were living a nightmare of sorts and frankly, were frightened about what was going to happen next. Just when we had no idea where to turn, we were blessed when a neighbor recommended we contact Curtis Hagy with Diamond Electric. We have NEVER worked with anyone as responsive, as courteous and as knowledgeable about electricity as Curtis and his team. He actually took the time to text us, updating us as to his arrival time, since he was professional enough to schedule us in as an urgent need. He was great to communicate with and quickly identified an issue with our electric panel that could have, in my humble opinion, caused a major house fire. Sad thing, the number of electrical inspections the panel passed and no one identified this serious issue. Even worse, perhaps, is that an electrical company installed the brand new panel and don’t realize their mistake. We have proudly removed the business sticker identifying the electrical company that installed the panel and did the electrical update and replaced it with contact information for Diamond Electric. Updated 12/11/2024Really happy with the work Curtis and his crew have done. We had several upgrades done to our home including two sub panels installed and the main panel upgraded. We also had a small shop completely wired to my desired specifications with the intent to turn it in to a work space.Curtis and his crew were quick, courteous and professional in their work. Even with a few last minute changes on our part his crew was able to accommodate the requests and promptly completed the additional work.As part of the shop wiring there was some underground line laying that was required. They had no problems with opening a dig ticket ( a very important thing as that makes them liable for any damage they might cause to existing underground utilities of which there are several on our property) and were very good in hand digging where the new lines came close to existing underground utilities.Costs were for time and materials and even with the additional work done came in under the estimate and well ahead of schedule.We will absolutely be using them again for any future work or repairs.Update 12/11/2024Once again outstanding service and work from Diamond Electric. Moe and Matt did a phenomenal job installing new can lighting in our basement and rewiring switches for better light control. They also replaced an old flood light up high on the side of the house, installed new lighting in our garage added extra outlets upstairs and downstairs and ensured everything was up to code. Additionally they came in way under budget and were exceedingly nice polite and professional. A huge thank you to Moe and Matt for everything.
