I highly recommend Barkhurst Electric! We had an issue with our service header being too short which caused wires on our roof to lose insulation and they shorted out during a storm. Barkhurst came out as soon as possible the next day and replaced our service header. They coordinated with Unisource for the turning off and restoration of power and dealt with the city permit.Lori, the receptionist was very friendly and extremely professional to work with. Dennis our serviceman was highly skilled and did an excellent job. I felt the price was very fair and am very happy with my experience with them. Should I ever need electrical service, I will definitely call them again.

It’s Labor Day and last night a storm came through Golden Valley that knocked power out. That apparently fried our main power switch outside and we were all night, all hot humid still night, with no power or ac. I called several companies and no one even answered since it’s a holiday. At Barkhurst a very kind woman answered and said she’d try to get a hold of someone. She called me right back and said the owner could probably make it out in 4 hours or so as he was on another job. I sent some pics of the main switch thing that was broken and not even an hour later she called to say he was on his way. He came and was so nice and quick and didn’t charge outrageously even though it was a holiday. Thank you both so much for everything! You kept our fish from boiling alive and our old handicap dog the stress of either heat or having to get boarded! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Steven came out fixed my electrical issues in about 20 minutes. Great attitude and explained everything that was going on and fixed it promptly. I will be referring everyone to them. He came out when no other company would on an after hours call. Descent rates for after hours work. Youre awesome Steven, Thanks again..

These guys!!! For the second time they saved my tush with helping me provide electricity to my air conditioning when I had a last minute issue. They are kind, professional, and fast. I have to say that no matter what electrical assistance you require, from a fuse replaced to a rewire or whatever the job, you can never go wrong with Barkhurst. Thanks again!!!

Went in to the office and talked to them about coming out to wire my shed. 3 lights, bunch of outlets, outdoor light etc. I was told they were very busy which is understandable as the Kingman housing boom is in full swing right now. We talked about what I needed and 2 days later they showed up and did and absolutely amazing job. I forget the names of the 3 men, but professional is an understatement. The other BIG Kingman electricians didn’t even return my call. This is the place you should call if you actually want the job done.

They came out on the 4th of July and fix the electric. Half the house had no electric and the other half did and he showed up about 5:00 p.m. and replace the outlet. it was all melted and burnt. Very pleased with the response time and extremely pleased with the Lori she answers the phones. We called and left a message she called back and if we couldnt find an electric cord to plug our freezer in to a different outlet she was willing to bring us one to borrow. Which I considered to be above and beyond her job requirements. Thank you Lori

We own rental property and apparently last month a GFCI outlet went out in the master bathroom. Unfortunately, the tenants did not inform us until last week. After we took a look at and replaced the GFCI on Saturday, it still did not work and we could not figure out the issue. I called this morning and I was greeted on the phone with a woman who was very pleasant. After I explained the issue, she said she would contact her crew that were out on the field and would call me back to see when they could go over. Within five minutes I received the call and they were able to fit me in at 9:00 this morning. Upon arrival at the rental unit, Steve was very pleasant and between him and his employee, they were able to find the issue and resolved it in a timely manner. I am very pleased with Barkhurst Electric and I definitely recommend them to anyone who is in need of electrical service. Not only were they professional and helpful, their price was excellent.
