    The installation went smoothly. No damage to home due to the care that went into the work. We are definitely pleased and will have them do other work in our home.Update July 2024This just reinforces my opinion of Deane Electric. I called them out to repair wiring damage caused by my over zealous weed eater trimming around my unit, Saturday afternoon, these things never happen during normal hours. They came out promptly repaired my mess up and even fixed things that they found missed from first install at no charge because this man has integrity. No excuses no too much time has passed, just his workmanship and customers matter. There are few places left that having your name on a sign and caring how people perceive that name matters, it’s this ethic that’s dying out but it’s still strong here. Thank you from the Hansen family!!

    Deans Electric & Air Conditioning is beyond professional and knowledgeable. They were patient, respectful and courteous as I had so many questions to ask between emails and phone calls. They advised me with their knowledge base to help me understand between SEERS ratings, single stage and two stage units. In the end we chose Deane’s Electric as they were the best for what we needed. They are affordable and reputable. Aaron one of the master techs is honest and professional. John Deane the owner reached out to us to offer suggestions and answer any other questions we may have had and gave us a good rate. Their dispatcher Mary always returned my calls and emails. Great company to do business with.

    I have been using Deanes air conditioning for several years now. Always 5 star service. Have had a couple emergencies on AC (17yrs old) and they have always taken good care of me. Very reasonable. Cant brag enough w/ the lady in the office (sorry terrible w/names), John has been wonderful, and the gentleman that have responded to my home have been nothing but stellar! Hope I dont see you again but if needed will be your company!!!!

    With great appreciation, I would just like to thank John Deane of Deane Electric & Air Conditioning, for going above and beyond when others could not, by going out of his way from Georgetown to Salado where I live, to fix my air conditioner, which had broke down 2 days before. The apartment complex of which I live in, currently has no maintenance man and the temperature inside was already at 86 degrees and rising.It was then suggested to me to give John Deane a call from Deane Electric & Air Conditioning, upon explaining my situation to John, he quickly offered to put aside his busy schedule and come right over from Georgetown to get my air conditioner up and running again.He was at my home within 30 minutes, sized up the situation and in less than 8 minutes had my air conditioner running like new. I thought Id be out of luck because ti was getting late on a Friday afternoon and I knew that the air temperature in my apartment would start to become unbearable, if I had to go without it through the weekend.When others either refused or could not commit, John was right there to save the day, with a very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous demeanor.In this day and age, where it is hard to trust anyone that you can count on, or rely upon, I trust John Deane and his staff, for all of my electrical needs.With much appreciation,Brian

    Ronnie with Dean Electric came out to look at out AC unit today since it was not working for 2 days. He diagnosed the issue quickly and found a faulty blower mower which it was under warranty. We only had to pay the labor for the install. Ronnie was a great technician and took care of the customer. Great job Ronnie thank you for a great job!!!! 😊

    My AC was not blowing cold at my office. I called Deane Electric and they came out later that afternoon on the same day. If it wasn’t for the Yellowjackets the repair would have been completed that day as well. I have used them in the past and will continue to use their services. Fast, friendly and reasonably priced.

    Ronnie out technician came out within a hour. He was absolutely amazing. I had another company come out Killeen Heating and Air and they said I needed a electrician because there is no power going to outside unit. It literally took Ronnie 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and fix the problem. Turns out the other company forgot a wire. If your looking for affordable AC repair this is the place. I recommend Ronnie to anyone!

    I needed a competent professional electrician to undo poor work from a previous dishwasher installation. Aaron was courteous, on time, and most importantly he provided a common sense fix that should have been completed in the first place.     Office personnel on the call and technician who came out to resolve my issue were very professional and to the point! My fan and motor was broken on my central unit. The cost was very reasonable. Great Job, great service, great value!*** Update as of 10 Jul 2024 ***I had a noisy compression unit and wanted to get it checked out.Because of the great experience I had with Deane E&AC last time, I decided to call them. Again, same great customer service over the phone, I believe they scheduled for the same day, if not next. But the two techs who came out did an evaluation and despite it being noisy, they advised it should make it through the summer but suggested I save up for next summer to get it replaced. Because of the age of the system (20yrs), they informed me the whole system would have to get replaced because of the Freon type. They later emailed an estimate if / when I decided to get it fixed.Thanks Again Deane E&AC!

    I used to use another company for my electric needs but they have been impossible to schedule. So I tried Deane Electric. They were much more responsive. I got a next day appointment for HALF the price I was expecting. Rick showed up right on time and did a tremendous job. I was going to have him change out a light fixture because I thought I had burned it out. He was able to diagnose that it was just a burned out wire and not the entire unit and he was able to fix it. By doing that he saved me $100 by allowing me to return the light I had purchased to put up. Then he did a great job putting up the other fixtures I needed. I will most definitely be calling Deane Electric for my future electric servicing needs.

    Dean Electric diagnosed and repaired my air conditioner within a three hour timeframe this past year when I had an unusual noise which ended up being the squirrel cage needing to be replaced!! I have terrible allergies and requested help with a system to disinfect the HVAC and Deane had a Scorpion HX15 installed inside the coil beating the price of all other HVAC companies and it has improved the air quality inside of my home and made a noticeable difference in my health! I highly recommend Dean Electric they will diagnose and solved your electrical problems quickly and effectively!!!

    I couldnt be more happy with this company! With this current cold coming on, our furnace went out. It needed 2 circuit breakers that arent used much anymore. We called at 10:30pm and left s message about what we needed and how it was an emergency because we had just brought our son home from the hospital after a major surgery.Mr.Deane himself called us shortly and let us know that they would have to find the part the next morning and would make us a priority. The next morning he contacted me to keep me informed and his tech Aaron came out and fixed the circuit breakers and we have heat!I cant say enough positive things about this company, its owner and employees.     Deane Electric sent 2 installers to upgrade my thermostat. The installation was a bit tricky, because of the old wiring and coloring of wires that was not according to the product instructions. He was able to identify the causes of the issues we were having and make the repairs same visit.     I was scheduled for a window - 9:30 to 12:00. Got a call from the repairman - his first appointment cancelled. Could he come early. He quickly assessed the problem - found a burned element. He called for a replacement part, picked it up and replaced it. 1 hr and 15 minutes. $90 part. Visit total $183.75! Very pleased. I was afraid Id have to replace the system. The tech had been here before a number of years ago. and provided the same service. Quick and easy fix without gouging for extra $$.     Back in August of 2019, Deane electric and Ac installed our American Standard unit. About a year later our unit started leaking on a late weekend evening; we called John Deane. He explained he was out of town, but took the time to stay on the phone til our problem was resolved. He walked us through step by step on how to clear our drain line instead of making us wait until Monday. He didn’t even charge us for his time on the phone. Great service.     Great service from a top notch provider. Their tech was able to diagnose our issue in less than 5 minutes which had completely baffled three other companies, then he quickly took pertinent information on the part, completed his evaluation of the remaining AC equipment. The next day he gave us a quote ordered the part and scheduled the repair as soon as the part was available. He called us and let us know the part was in and that the repair would proceed as scheduled. Fast courteous we had the same tech the whole way through. He was on time punctual and responsive to our needs as customers, no variation on quoted price or times ever through two visits A+.

    We have used Deane Electric for a few years, now. They are usually prompt, and rarely have a long wait to get an appointment. We had them service our old AC unit, and then they installed our new one! We did find some scratched paint in the blower cabinet, as well as a few other minor bumps. Sometimes there is a fine line between being efficient, and being rushed. Overall, very happy with the work!

    Deanes installation of my new heating (and air conditioning) unit was painless - I also received excellent service after sale. Maintenance on my previous heating and air system was routinely kept by a good and reputable local company, but I got a better price from Deanes when my system needed replacing in 2009. Except for the quickly answered service call during an ice-storm shortly after installation that required replacing the thermostat, Ive had an absolutely worry-free experience with the heating and air unit installed by Deane Electric and Air! I highly recommend them.

    We had our main panel checked because we were unsure if there was an issue with the insulation or not. My home warranty company could not get a technician out to us so I had to do look for one myself. I talked to John Deane and he was very courteous and re-assuring. Immediately after talking to him I received a call to get an appointment date and they were able to get me on the books for the day after. Mr. Deane called the morning of the service appointment to ask if his technician could arrive earlier, and when the technician did he was polite and professional and did a thorough inspection of all of our panels. It turns out we did not have an issue to be alarmed about but its better safe than sorry! Deane Electric will definitely be one of my go-to electric repair/service providers in the area!

    As a new homeowners we had no idea what to do when our heating stopped working this winter. We had tried every YouTube video and watched tons of instructions on how to repair it ourselves. We called around and all the other companies were trying to charge $180 and up just to come look at our system not even to diagnose the problem. Thankfully the real estate company we purchased from had Deane Electric and AC fix our AC before we moved in. So I called them again and they were so helpful. They were flexible and worked with my husbands hectic schedule. They even allowed my hubby to see where all the wires were so he would know what to do next time.     Our a/c went out in the hot summer and John Deane and his team were able to fix it quickly and keep it running for another season. It’s an older unit that we were worried we would have to replace, but that was thankfully postponed to the future ! We appreciate their prompt response to calls , and if one of his guys isn’t available, John himself makes sure it gets done. We have also had them install lighting at our dental office (Killeen Dental Group ) to replace some older fluorescents with new LED which work great and save money. Highly recommend.

He helped us out when we only lived in our Jarrell home ten months and the whole AC went out, in August, here in hot Texas.     This company is exceptional in every way. Dylan, our assigned electrician, is reliable, diligent, courteous, knowledgeable and a strong communicator. He performed all work in a timely, accurate, professional manner. Audrey, the front office manager, sets the tone for customer service excellence. And, John, the Journeyman level lead, took time to come by to meet us and survey what was needed alongside Dylan.

    There is not enough space on the internet for me to express my gratitude for Deanes Electric ! Our electric pole fell and Mr . Deane took care of it right away. He went out of his way to get a new pole for us , helped his guys dig the hole for it and made sure Oncor turned my power back on immediately. All this was done within about 4 hours . This happened last week and the only reason I took so long to give them kudos is because the phone company is not as efficient as Deanes Electric and I just got my internet service restored .     This company is amazing! I lost power to half of my house and after Deane electric came out they told me the problem was with the meter. I called the owners of the meter for 2 days and they came out twice and didnt listen and wouldnt fix it. The owner of Deane electric, as well as the tech who came to my house and the receptionist were all extremely helpful in getting everything repaired. They have made countless phone calls, checked on us often and were just extremely helpful and amazing through the whole ordeal. I dont know how long we will be in Texas, but I know as long as I am in this area I will never go through anyone else. Thank you!

    Was really surprised at how fast this job went. Called and talked to John and he was so nice and very helpful... The same day I called, Chris came out, really nice guy also. Looked at what was needed, got my price which was a lot cheaper then I had thought. Said ok, lets do it and the next morning Chris and John (different John BTW) were here and in a couple of hours or so they were finished. Came in and checked to be sure everything was working properly and Chris even offered to clean the mess the duct work made in the floors inside my house. WOW..     Very knowledgeable personnel who work here. Called them about an inspection, and figure out what ONCOR was talking about for this business needed an inspection before they can connect power to the building. He told me that because we are the first clients of the building it is necessary to get the inspection and he even billed it to the landlords of the building because it should have been done.

He started troubleshooting my unit and he explained what he thought the problem was, but he assured me will consult it mmand double check with his boss who has more knowledge on that type of units... they called me back and told me they were sure what it was and Mike will be back next day to fix the airconditioner.... he came back and sure enough, I got my unit working as a jet, and really appreciate the fact that they never took advantage of the situation to charge me more or change parts that were not even ruined, like I was told before by a previous Technitian from a harker heights company; he said that it needed to change the entire coils on my unit and it was gonna cost me over $1,200 versus $450 including service call that DEANE ELECTRIC AND AIRCONDITIONER charged me.I am very thankful and very satisfied with the job and great customer service, I received from DEANE ELECTRIC AND AIRCONDITIONER, VERY HONEST AND REASONABLE PRICES, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE SO BUSY, I WAS NUNBER ONE FOR THEM AS A CUSTOMER!!!!     I contacted this business after seeing a TV commercial about installing a electrical transfer switch on my house so that I could use a back-up generator if I lost power. After my initial contact and estimate for this service I contracted with this business to complete the work I needed done. Their electricians showed up to complete the task on the date agreed upon and on time. They were very professional, friendly and kept me informed on every step of the installation by answering all my questions. The installation was completed in a timely manner and as far as my limited experience with electrical installation it looked to be a very professional installation. They then tested the equipment using my generator to ensure everything worked properly and also to inform me as to what my generator was capable of running in my house and what it would not run. They also informed me of the limits of the load I should place on the generator. Overall my experience with this business was excellent. Now here is the one thing that I was not pleased with in my dealings with this business. The transfer switch that was installed was not the switch that was shown in their tv ad. When I asked the technicians about this I was informed that they no longer used that brand because of supply issues with that company, which is all good since the switch they installed was of the same quality however I am of the opinion that this information is something I should have been notified about prior to agreeing to a contract with them. That being said I am satisfied with the switch they installed.

    Mr John Deane is a extremely helpful business owner, he walked me through changing my transformer over the phone, Mr. Chris came over and showed me how to clean the drain pipe to my AC unit. These guys arent out here just to make money from you. They are genuinely nice and helpful people trying to keep your electrical working and youre home cool in the summer. Chris was at my house within an hour of calling the company. Kimberly was very nice and pleasant to work with getting a technician over to the house. Killeen is full of companies trying to screw you over and its amazingly refreshing to find one that just wants the best for there customers. Mr John is not only a good business owner but hes extremely knowledgeable about his business duties and he even takes service calls regularly. I really recommend this company.

    Recently i needed advice on needed electrical work. I found theses folks to be honest when i wouldnt have known otherwise. I just plain liked the man, liked his forthright candor, honesty and willingness to be helpful. He was generous with his time and knowledge and his work represents his business well. More than reasonably priced. Asking around i found others of the same opinion.
