    Excellent Experience.About 1-year ago, I worked with ControlFreaks Hawaii (Hartford Wright), and had a Mesh Network installed. Everything has been working great and Hartford did an amazing job taking care of our property.Recently, I switched to fiber service and, my mesh Network was no longer performing well (after 1-year plus of no problems). I tried to get hold of ControlFreaks (email, and phone), my wife works from home, and connectivity is a Huge issue.When Hartford found out that through a series of miscommunication (some misunderstanding on my part, some on ControlFeaks) he immediately contacted me and promised to get us back and running - same day. I should mention this is exceptional because they are very busy and a service date may takes days or weeks pending workload (they also provide a priority service for a monthly fee).Hartford corrected the system and explained the rebooting sequence. He also went over my login and service speed. Hartford left no stone unturned, professional, courteous, and highly experienced.Having been in service for over 30-years, day-to-day tasks and service are important but, what really defines a company is how well they respond to adversity - Hartford and ControlFreaks score a perfect 100.Mahalo - John S.

    We recently had Control 4 TV controller installed and numerous other TV Issues we had resolved.. The gentleman who did the work for Control Freaks company was Grayson…he is absolutely awesome. His work was perfect and he is a real gentleman at all times, even while fixing unexpected problems, etc. Everything seems to go well, no matter the problem that arises as long as Grayson is doing the job.

    As the GM of a condo building on Maui I have the hardest time getting quick reliable trade workers to respond to my variety of problems. Electricians especially… but since I started using Kyle and control freaks it’s turned electrical problems from one of my biggest headaches into one of my most convenient fixes. My building is old and has many quirks, but they’ve maneuvered through all of them and they get my problems fixed efficiently and cleanly. On top of that they have recommended additional ideas that I wouldn’t have thought to address till it created a problem.

    I highly recommend here is why:1. They are honest and professional2. The arrived on the date scheduled and finished the job early.3. They adjusted the bill to reflect the time they didn’t use (finished early, excellent quality work, and big savings) instead of wasting time, I’ve had work done before by other electricians and they never did that, they charged the same they quoted and the work was not quality work. btw I didn’t even have to ask they did it on their own. (Shocked) I will not have any other company work at my house ever again. They were recommended by a friend, I’m so glad I decided to work with them, why would you go with anyone else? If you have questions send a message I will tell you the whole story (don’t have enough time to write on here) the work they had to do was not an easy task, great job Kyle and guys!!!     Control Freaks installed 3 fans and a FULL Lutron Casata system and programed all the switches and scenes for custom lighting effect. I worked remotely with Kyle and he communicated clearly and efficiently. Super helpful for STR owner. These guys are pros!

    Control freaks did an excellent job of installing a new system for us at our condo in Maui. Set up was done during COVID and while it took a few months before we could travel to Maui to check out the installation, we were very pleased with the installation as it exceeded our expectations. Technician (Grayson) who provided a system review was thorough and very professional. We have no hesitation in recommending Control Freaks.

    We had some wiring issues in our new house. We gave up trying to get the original electrician to come and called control freaks. They came out same day and it took them less than half an hour to fix our electrical. Its been a month since its been fixed and everything still works perfect. Highly recommend and will be using them again in the future.

    Words cannot express my gratitude to Kyle for fixing the electrical issues Ive been struggling with for the last three years. Ive had other electricians look at the problems, and they did not have the skill/patience required to find a solution. Kyle knew that I was going to be on-island for a short time, and he kept me in the loop and squeezed me into the schedule. He made sense out of the jumble of wires and how they tied into our pool automation system (with which he was unfamiliar). With hyper focus, dedication, and amazing integrity, he made everything work and Im so happy! He also ensured that water penetration will not be a future problem.     If you call any other service before Control Freaks, youre wasting your time. These guys are by far the most professional, helpful, honest and genuine group Ive found on the island.My handyman had no clue why my ceiling fan went dead. I called several electricians around Maui. If youve done anything similar, you know how this song goes next - most of them couldnt be bothered to take my call, return a message or, if I did get to talk to a live human, provide any real timeframe when they could come look.Control Freaks not only took my call, but made a special trip from the other side of the island the same day to check it out. When a miscommunication caused us to miss our first appointment (my fault), they were totally understanding and came back again the next day. Parts, a closed fan shop and other logistical issues caused them to make several more trips out to our place in Kahana - never a complaint. Never anything less than a truly genuine desire to help us out and make things right.Ive worked with electricians, smart home developers and similar contractors in cities all around the US. Control Freaks, especially Kyle, are truly unique and superior on their desire to get the right job done, and quickly and painlessly as possible, without cutting corners or inflating prices.     Outstanding service!!!! I had a total loss of power in my unit and needed help immediately as I had a guest that just arrived. I called several (like 7 or 8) companies that were recommended but they either did not answer or was booked out several weeks and could not stop by. I called Control Freaks and got an answer immediately. They were also very busy but Kyle happened to be working nearby so he said hed stop by and at least take a look. He quickly found a rather difficult issue that was not easily identified. I was super impressed and had the power back on within the hour. The price was extremely competitive if not a little less than what I would have expected from the other guys. I can honestly say that I found my go to company for any electrical issues I may have in the future. Thanks again to Kyle and Control Freaks. Great job!!!!
