I had a clog in the bathroom which plugged up the shower, toilet, and tub on one side of the house. The two young men who came to help me were kind, patient, polite, and not deterred by some extra challenges. They started with a 25 foot snake, but had to then use a longer one. They first found a small hex tool in the drain. Then they continued to look for the actual clog. It took a few hours but they found it, and it was stubborn. These two guys just kept working at it until it finally broke apart. They maintained a sense of humor. I thought the price was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend 5 Starr Plumbing and these two guys without hesitation and with a lot of praise for a challenging job well done.

I couldve sworn Id left my review already but it seems I havent.Five star came out back in July to repair our main line sewer pipe because it had collapsed. From start to finish they were excellent. They explained everything in a way we could understand, showed us the video footage and did a great job getting it repaired. They had to dig a massive hole and when they were done you could barely tell theyd done it. Im used to most places not putting things back the way it was and leaving the mess for me to clean up.Today I had to give them a call because we started hearing bubbling from our basement toilet again. They came right out to us checked everything over and offered a quick simple solution to try out rather than just trying to push some expensive repair on us.Five star is absolutely our go to plumber now and I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Excellent work!- The plumbing technician worked quickly, on the pipes in my backyard as well as the pipes in my 52 year old house. Everything is flowing well, with no clogs, odors, or gurgling sounds. He double checked all of his work before leaving. As well as, the next day the company called me to make sure everything continued to draining and flowing well.If you need a plumber, I highly recommend Five Star Plumbing.

We discovered water leak from the main pipe , which needed to be replaced . After few estimates we went with Five Star Plumbing which turned out to be the best decision! Brian showed up on time , extremely knowledgeable and professional. Explained everything they were going to do and did just that . We had a tree with huge roots on their way but Brian and his team worked hard to dig out all they needed and repair what was necessary. Would definitely recommend them to anyone !

There is a reason they call themselves Five Star Plumbing. This was the absolute best experience I ever had with a service provider. Five Star Plumbing is my new company for any plumping issues. I called about a leak and the plumber was at my house 30 minutes later. My toilet flange was leaking into my basement. Jay was the plumber that fixed my leak and he was an absolute professional. He walked me through what was wrong and exactly what he was going to do to fix it. He was so kind, thorough, and truly great at what he does. Additionally, he gave a very fair price to fix the issue and warranted the work for a year. Lastly, Jay fixed the leak that day. All in all, I could not have had a better experience. This is a local company that has top notch employees. I would highly recommend you to give this company a shot. I know this is going to be my go to company for now on.

A bright spot in an otherwise terrible situation!I had a water main leak that was getting into my basement. Five Star Plumbing was amazing from start to finish! The estimator was punctual, friendly and explained everything very thoroughly. Brian arrived on time and got right to work. It is apparent he takes pride in his work. He took the time to answer my many questions with a smile. An excellent decision was made on our part. I Cant say enough about the folks from Five Star plumbing. The guys arrived here on time, were polite, courteous and most importantly extremely knowledgeable. They were able to get everything we needed accomplished and the prices were very reasonable. Ive been a homeowner for over 27 years so I have an idea about pricing and plumbing. When I called for an appointment I expected them to tell me they would be at my house in a couple of days but to my surprise they came the same day. They replaced my kitchen faucet. They asked me what kind of faucet I wanted and went to Home Depot and got a perfect match. When they returned they installed the faucet in less than 35 minutes and the price they gave me up front was the price they charged. And the price was very reasonable. If you need a plumber this is the company to call.

Water line burst inside the house in 08/11/2022. I called Five Star Plumbing next day, Chris is the owner of the shop came to estimate, an hour later his crew came to fix the broken pipe that allowed us to have water to use temporarily. A week later another crew came to replace the entire water line from outside the house all the way to inside the house. They did an excellent job and a reasonable price. Thank you so much for the quick service and my children also give you guys a thumbs up.

Sewer pipe under the kitchen floor out to the street had cracked & decayed and needed to be replaced. 5 Star provided an estimate and was awarded the job. They arrived on time, worked hard for 3 days cutting the kitchen concrete floor, trenching the floor & digging up the front yard, replacing the pipe, refilling the trench and pouring cement to repair the kitchen floor. When they finished, the kitchen was ready for the new floor. Very pleased with their work and how they prevented the dust & dirt from spreading thru the house. Great job! Sorry, I do not have photos on this machine. If Im able to add them after this posts, I will.

Made the best of an unfortunate situation.A month later my propane hot water heater went and my bathroom sink had a leak 🤦🏻‍♀️I called 5 star and the guy they sent out, I think his name was Jonathan, was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Wore his mask the whole time. He replaced my old hot water heater and fixed the bathroom sink within a couple of hours! And the price was great. Five Star Plumbing responded immediately to our call for service. The plumbers gave an estimate of the cost for repair of our leaking copper pipe. The work was completed within 45 minutes and the plumbers explained how the pipe had been repaired. Work was done quickly and neatly and to our satisfaction. The plumbers were kind and professional, calling us 15 minutes before they arrived and making sure they had answered all of our questions before departing.

I used Five Star Plumbing Services as a result of a possible leak in my condo unit that was wreaking havoc for my downstairs neighbor. Five Star was able to identify that the source of the leak was NOT in my unit and saw evidence that led to the discovery that it was actually a leak within the building that ultimately was the responsibility of the condo association. They were responsive, helpful, and very pleasant. I had great confidence in their assessment of the issue and would definitely use them again!

I contacted 5 Star Plumbing about my water heater that was leaking in my basement 5 minutes before close of business on a Friday night. Chris, the owner, sent a tech out that night who quickly stopped the leak and ordered a replacement water heater that was installed the next day. The tech was polite and efficient and cleaned everything up and somehow removed the old water heater without getting water anywhere on the way out the door. 5 Star Plumbing made an unexpected repair much more bearable - very grateful!!

Our experience with 5 Star met our need and our plumbing problem was resolved in an expeditious and optimal manner and seamless. Our anticipated complicated process accessing a plumber out of our warrantys network never reached fruition. 5 Star assisted us with necessary docs for approval, the work was completed, and our reimbursement check from the warranty company is on the way. He took care to ensure the job was finished with quality and attention to detail.I would highly recommend them. You may find someone cheaper, (although the prices were very reasonable), but you wont find anyone more honest or more committed to high standards start to finish. Very pleased with their service!

We had the main sewer line back up at our house. Called 5-Star and they had a service tech (Brian) our within the hour. He checked out our situation and figured out that the county actually had a backup at the main and it wasn’t our issue. Brian stayed with us to help contact the county to get the “water jet” crew out to take care of it. 30 min later county came and cleared the line!!! Such a stressful situation with a house of 8 people and no Bathrooms!!! But thanks to Five star for really looking out for us!! Needed water shut off valve moved in HVAC closet. Matt arrived on time and gave me a quote. It was a little more than I anticipated but he showed me what needed to be done and I agreed. As it turned out, the old valve would not shut off properly and he installed two shut offs, one to handle water flow closer to the water tank and another which was more accessible to me which is what I needed. The work was done in 90 minutes and I had two great valves installed which seem to be working fine.

I had the water pipe bringing water into my house break. Harford County turned the water off at midnight. Chris was by the next morning for a look and an estimate. He loaned me a washer hose and told me how to get water from my neighbors hose bib (after permission, of course). The crew started work 2 days later and did a bang up job. The job took more copper pipe than was quoted and they stood by the estimate. I was very pleased with the attitude and work ethic of the plumbing crew on site. I would recommend 5 star without reservation

My well pump went up in the middle of the night, a gentleman (Im sorry I dont remember his name)was here first thing in the morning, as he was finishing up he offered some filters (we had a mess), he noticed he didnt have any on him...left and came back a few minutes later with a couple filters for me...my second experience was with Tj, he came to replace my well cap...he was very nice, spoke highly of his family... at the end he ran into an issue, he was extremely easy going about it. No one wants to deal with plumbing issues, but I am glad that there is guys like these when I have to!

They came out and said that they could not do the job because they had to lift the empty hot water heater out.I picked up the new water heater from Home Depot and called 5 Star, they were the only ones who answered, spoke to Portia at the office who was very friendly, and they were out here within 18 hours of the call which was not an emergency.Excellent service, no issues with the install, very professional and they were cheaper! 5 Star Plumbing is awesome! They initially came out to my house after heavy rains flooded my basement. This caused damage to my gas water heater. They removed the old one, installed new one and it works great! Then I had them back for the flood issue from my French drain. They inspected it, ran a camera into the pipe and also cleared some of the camera visible roots. We then decided to have them back to fix the yard drain pipe (which is an old clay pipe system). Pipe was in great shape but tree roots had completely invaded it from the lower end of the yard. This caused very slow drainage which backed up into the basement from the heavy rains. They were very professional, came out same day as I initially called and were always on time. I found Five Star Plumbing very reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again. Thanks to everyone who helped me!

I was in the process of selling a home when the home inspection determined there were polybutylene pipes throughout the house. I saw on their website that they removed and replaced them (not all plumbing services will). I called and spoke to Cindy who was very helpful and got someone out the next day. Jonathan was the representative from the company, on time, polite, found the source of my leak after cutting away the ceiling drywall. Jonathan informed me throughout each step, as well as the cost. Which I felt was quite fair. He was done in about an hour, after the leaked was drying and sealed. Will I use Five Star in the future if needed. Absolutely yes. I was very pleased throughout the entire time in my house.
