We had the best experience with Karla and Pepe. Their years of experience really helped us figure out exactly what we wanted out of our space. They really excel at communication, which is such a bonus when remodeling. The entire crew is incredibly professional and respectful. As I type this, our requested/if possible deadline is a week away and they finished the project last week. It was such a great experience, from start to finish. We are just over the moon with the finished product. I don’t think we thought it could be this good. I highly recommend Epic Wood Work and we are looking forward to our next project together.

Epic Wood Work is AMAZING!! Karla and Pepe are wonderful to work with. They are so professional and knowledgable, and we couldnt be happier with the custom white oak hood vent and island they completed for us! They were able to rescue us from a nightmare remodel experience we were having with a different contractor, and were willing to come in and work the situation we were in. Their carpenters/installers did a fabulous job and we are so thankful! We will certainly use Epic Wood Work for all of our future remodeling!

Epic Wood made an amazing job on our kitchen remodeling project in Plano, Texas! The outstanding customer relations from Pepe and his team, keeping us updated on progress and advising but not pushing has made the renovation a pleasant experience. Their design and build expertise in Dallas metroplex area homes turned a not-that-big space into a beautiful, functional new kitchen with a white and champagne-bronze theme that feels both expansive and cozy. We are especially enjoying the kitchen peninsula design (that mitigated the lack of space for an island), that brings the family and friends together while cooking. It is worth mentioning the very high quality of the cabinets they build on their own facilities. Last but not least, the post-sale customer service is amazing: we had a small fix to do and they came the day after we called, solving the problem with no charge and happy faces :) This project has exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a top contractor in Dallas area to reach out to Epic Wood Work. When choosing a team to help with a remodel, it can sometimes be daunting and difficult to know you’re choosing the right team. Luckily, we were able to find Pepe and Epic Wood Work. His team is communicative, reliable, and will do whatever it takes to get the job done on time and correctly. We had a tight timeline due to our wedding in early November and we wanted to have 60+ people over the day after. This only allowed for about a month from demo to completion, including taking out structural beams and needing an engineer to create a new support beam. They supported us through the whole process – giving us recommendations for where to pick tile, counters, appliances, hardware, etc. We could not be happier with how it turned out and that we were able to find people like Pepe and his team. Being able to have a team that you can rely on to the fullest means so much and the fact that their end product is beautiful, high quality, and well made just makes them the perfect team to go with! HIGHLY recommend using Pepe and his team at Epic Wood Work! I’ve added some after photos of our kitchen for reference. 😊

SUPER impressed with Pepe and his team! From the consultation to the finished product, it was obvious they care about their customers. They had our kitchen reno done within the timeline we needed and delivered on everything they promised. Pepe answered all our questions and responded in a timely manner. I will Hands down recommend Epic Wood Work to anybody that needs a new project or renovation! I wanted my kitchen island bigger and a change in my countertops, Asap! Pepe and Karla made it happen! In about 3 weeks I had my HVAC unit re-routed, column demo, new cabinet, new countertops and backsplash beautifully done! This was a great experience, the crews that came in to do the work were organized and cleaned everyday after their daily work, not leaving my house a mess. I will definetely say that was one of my favorite parts. Once the kitchen was done, I just couldnt believe I was in the same house. Our kitchen renovation experience with Epic was amazing!Pepe with his great ideas, Karla with her interior design eye and project management skills is top notch. The attention to detail , constant communication, professionalism and care of crew and their in house expertise carpentry make a daunting experience so easy.I never thought I would say that going through a kitchen renovation was easy but it truly was with Epic. They finished on time and I believe it was because of Karla’s project management skills. We have gone through an entire house bathroom renovation with another contractor that took double the amount of time to complete. Karla and the entire team at Epic are constantly working together. Never did we have days or weeks wondering if someone was going to show up.I wanted a kitchen that would reflect our 1930’s Tudor home and our love for mid century style and they nailed it. If I could name my kitchen it would be Vintage Vogue. We love it and can’t believe our vision is a reality.

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! I have to admit I was dreading a kitchen renovation - I have a 30 year old house and so if I was going to renovate it would have to be everything all at one time. Additionally, I was afraid of what we would find when we starting tearing out cabinets to the studs and how a contractor would handle those curve balls. So I did a ton of research and had a handful of quotes. You never really know what you are going to get – but I ultimately landed on Epic because of the reviews and the ease of dealing with the owner Pepe.There were so many things I liked about working with Pepe and his Epic Wood Work team. First off – it was no pressure and no nickel and diming – the quote was the quote. Pepe also had a ton of great suggestions for upgrading the kitchen – new usb outlets, new sink, moving the island. I didn’t think any of the frills were necessary – and he never pushed or pressured. But quite frankly I eventually came to agree and I implemented every suggestion he hadThe craftsman are excellent – the cabinets are solid wood – excellent quality. The demo went great – even when we removed the soffits and found plumbing and gas lines that needed to be re-piped. I had new cabinets and countertops, new flooring and backsplash done. Each of the craftsman responsible for each section were outstanding. Couldn’t ask for higher quality workmanship. The punch list at the end of the project was completed quickly and to the letter.And finally, the schedule was adhered to really well – a little over 5 weeks from demo to fully complete. There was no overpromising and under-delivering. He was realistic about how long the lead times were, and how long each part of the process would take. Pepe was also very accessible – if I had questions or thoughts I could always reach out and discuss with him. No text, call or email went unanswered.Renovations are a huge deal – I strongly recommend Epic Wood Work – I will use them again for sure!

Pepe and his team delivered exactly what I wanted in our kitchen cabinets. He has great skills for design and he actually assists with building the cabinets, too. He helped select the countertop as well. I wasnt able to meet him to select granite for our kitchen counters and he did a video chat. Talk about going the extra mile. I was able to view and select the material without being there. Hes easy to talk to, has a great customer service attitude, and open to suggestions. He lets you know if something wont work (think - certain materials in high humidity wont mix) and explains other options. Not many contractors look out for your best interest and budget. If you want great cabinets, built-ins, shelves, etc., Pepes your guy. Ill use him again in the future.

I absolutely loved working with Pepe and Karla from Epic Wood Work for my kitchen remodel. They were able to take my design wants and needs and execute it to perfection. I love love love how everything turned out. They were able to complete things very professionally and in 3 months with the holidays in between. They were very considerate of the house and took extra care with everything. They were accommodating for all of my spiraling decisions and able to reel me in to something that is perfection!

LOVE my new kitchen!It was 3 weeks start to finish (Cabinets, floor patching, counters, sink, backsplash, appliances, plumbing, electrical). Everyone came when they said they would. Sure, there were days no one was at the house, but Pepe communicated that with me always letting me know, who would be there, when they would be there and what they would be doing and also if no one would be there. This is so important bc as you go thru this process youre having to rearrange your life, your kids, your animals etc. Just knowing who to expect and when is huge. And then that person actually coming when they say they will! #winningThe cabinets are beautiful and seem really well made!I love the suggestions Pepe had for my kitchen, even some that my designer had not thought of (such as shuffling the fridge down so that it could fully open. This may actually be my favorite part, because it created a space for chopping boards and sheet pans)I had received several quotes, and interviewed several people for the job before making a decision. Really glad I chose Epic woodwork. People keep commenting how fast they did it and how beautiful it is, theyre like a well oiled machine!

Epic was definitely an EPIC experience in our home remodel. I actually called a friend who remodels, he could have easily let his company take the job. Instead, he recommended Pepe as the right person for us. Karla was an added bonus to help us make choices in decorating that fit our personality. My home turned out absolutely beautiful, but just as important was the experience we had throughout the process. Not only was the project done on time, but the team worked so wonderfully together. Being able to have the plumber, electrician and whole team working together and helping each other while obviously enjoying was nice. One of the best parts of the experience was that everyday the team cleaned up the mess and clutter and, when asked, made it possible that on the weekends we could roll up the plastic dividers and feel less like a construction site.

Pepe and his crew where professional and pleasure to work with. Pepe and Carlos (counters) helped me pick out quartz counters for an office, that were reasonably priced and within our budget. Carlos and his installers were very professional and we were very pleased with his attention to detail. Making adjustments along the way to have a perfect fit to a not so perfectly square room. They also made sure to protect floors from any dust or epoxy. We will definitely work with Epic Wood Work again and highly recommend them.

I had reached out to five cabinet makers to get quotes on a new master bathroom vanity and several built-ins before contacting Epic Woodwork. Two never even bothered to return my calls. One wasn’t interested because my job wasn’t big enough. Another came to my home and did measurements, promising to get back to me later in the week with a quote. It never came. The fifth gave an extremely high estimate without even coming to my home. By the time I contacted Epic I was pretty frustrated. Pepe Gamarra owns Epic Woodwork and my experience with him and his crew was the exact opposite of those other guys. He really knows his stuff and is excellent at customer service. He came to my home and, after asking what style we were looking for, took detailed measurements. With them he generated a 3-D software rendering of what the vanity and cabinets would look like in my space. That really sold my wife. His quote was very reasonable too. Best part is he delivered a quality product when he said he would. Installation went smoothly. No surprises. The end.

I was referred to Pepe and his team (David, Luis, Mark, Cesar) by my neighbor who had scheduled to do reno work for her house. I was in the market for a contactor and actually narrowed down who I was going to use however I saw the pictures online of Pepes work and immediately had to reach out prior to him even starting on my neighbors house (his work is THAT good!!) I sent an inquiry and Pepe came out and evaluated our master bathroom and I knew immediately he was the one to do the job. Pepe has such a creative mind and will go above and beyond to make sure he provides you quality work without breaking the bank. This was my first reno so I was anxious and nervous but I knew I was in good hands.I was having a hard time narrowing down tile for our shower and Pepe helped me see the bathroom I envisioned by taking me and my husband to a showroom and seeing different tiles he had in mind for our bathroom. I was SOLD! Throughout the entire process Pepe was very responsive via text message, FaceTime and phone calls. I truly believe I have not only gained a contractor whom I want my entire house to be reno-ed by but a friend. Pepe takes pride in his work and will make sure to deliver results that his customers are happy with.I cannot recommend Pepe enough and the quality of his work in his pictures does not do enough justice.Thank you Pepe and team for going above and beyond!!100% work!!

Pepe and the guys at Epic Wood Work did a great job on a desk that I had them custom build for me! I took them the top of an old desk and showed them a photo of legs that I wanted them to build and attach to the old top. They were able to do exactly what I wanted and at a great price! They also did it much quicker than what I expected. I will use these guys again for future wood working needs!

We just completed a project with Pepe and his team and couldnt be more thrilled with the results! We wanted a GIANT wall of custom wardrobe plus shelving with some custom design details. They came in with a reasonable bid and executed our cabinets at shockingly high quality. Everything looks absolutely amazing. We had a small design issue that I wanted resolved, and he completely made it right for me. Pepe and team were highly conscious of my satisfaction with the project and made sure to execute on everything I requested. After our builder ran away and left us with crooked walls, unfinished cabinets, mismatched countertops, electrical and plumbing nightmares, we were in despair. We started to get quotes with several general contracts and subcontractors but none of them worked out, some were not professional, others were fearful of the hot mess that would result from them fixing one thing. One day I found Epic Wood Work and reached out. The same day I received a call and spoke with Pepe, he asked to send me pictures and he was over the next day. After meeting him and discussing the issues, I knew right away that he is the best option for us. He was empathetic, logical, and a great communicator. He gave us good suggestions, thought through things which we had to explain to other contractors. He understood our concerns and found great solutions.We had him start with our kitchen which had the most issues to fix.We are so glad we chose to work with him. Him and his staff were very professional, on time, followed the timeline, gave us a perfect product. He also provided with references for other issues and everyone that we have worked with so far has been just as amazing as Pepe and his team. His staff is hardworking and have excellent craftsmanship. My husband and I are very picky and we couldnt find anything wrong with their work!We cant imagine working with anyone else after experiencing such high quality of work!
