    They were great from start to finish. Will was so professional when he came to assess what was wrong with our furnace. He explained the issues so that we could understand and gave us different scenarios of how we could proceed.Dan was super nice and gave us several options for our furnace replacement. Very professional yet also approachable.The installation crew was great! Very pleasant to interact with. We felt at ease and were able to trust all of them. All of them exemplified customer service. We could tell they out the customer first. They even loaned us multiple space heaters.

    We are very happy and impressed with Indianola Mechanical. I have seen their trucks around, but weve never reached out to them. We recently purchased a hot water heater and very happy with the install as well as the two gentlemen that installed. We asked them a few questions while they were here and reached out to Indianola Mechanical again for a quote on installing a gas line and vent for new dryer hook up for the upstairs. Brian came to give us a quote and he was very friendly and professional. He provided us with a bid, which we thought was reasonable. And, three days later, the installer is here and working. Everyone we have spoken with is very friendly. They provide us with text communication as well as emails. We are very happy.

    Brian, hands down, provides the best customer service of any repair or service industry technician I have had. He takes the time to walk through the issues with you and dives into finding the root cause of the problem. He genuinely cares about the customers hes working to solve their problems. I have had him several times for different services for my geothermal system. The first was a walk-through on what I needed to do for homeowner maintenance, and he dove in and showed me everything I should do for my maintenance. The second time, he found a leak in the system, resolved it quickly, and worked through it with my warranty. The most recent incident was during the heat wave in July 2024. He came over before I left for vacation and left a tester to keep our unit functioning while our pet was home with a dog sitter at the house. There were scheduling headaches with getting him back out from busy service calls that frustrated me with office scheduling, but Brian made sure to take care of me. If youre lucky enough to have him dispatched to your service call when youre having a problem, know youve got someone to investigate for you and who wants to help you out. Its too bad I only run into him and his great attitude when Im having HVAC issues.

    Conner did an excellent job inspecting our HVAC system, taking pictures and carefully explaining each step and photo of his inspection. He made several recommendations based on what he saw and was very thorough in his explanations regarding why certain procedures were warranted. He didnt seem to be selling any of them!

    I called this company based on information obtained online when my Moms water heater wasnt working. I was a good choice. Joe arrived on Wednesday afternoon and determined the water heater needed to be replaced. Jake and Will arrived Thursday morning to install the new one. Installation and clean up was done perfectly. All technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for a job well done!

    From the sales person (Austin) to the installation specialist (Carl and his helper), these folks are a professional as they come! We needed a complete central AC replacement and Indianola Mechanical really knocked it out of the park. The install took a couple days because my old system was different than this one. My wife was here when they started and she kept telling me how nice they guys were and how professional they were. I was there for the second day, and I totally agree!Highly recommended!

    Indianola Mechanical did an amazing job and was a life saver for us. Our AC went out over the weekend and on Sunday evening I went on their website to schedule the first available appointment which showed on Tuesday. Within 20 minutes, I had a phone call getting us schedule for first thing the next morning. They showed up on time and, unfortunately, had to order some very expensive parts. I didnt expect them to arrive until that Friday or even until the next week but they had the parts in hand by Tuesday and they were at our house on Wednesday getting everything fixed! I would definitely use them again! 10 out of 10.

    Great experience with Joe coming to repair and replace our showers and troubleshooting our water heater. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and very communicative regarding what he found and what the most practical fix was and the longevity of how the parts would last and function.     My technician was very thorough in diagnosing the issue with my a/c unit. He provided me with several options. I chose the option that fit my needs and he left to get the part. He also sent a email with payment options, as I am retired and on a fixed income. When returned, he installed the needed part, retested the performance of my a/c, and asked if I had any questions or concerns prior to leaving. It took all of 2.5 hours for him to diagnose, get the part, and complete his work.I would highly recommend Indianola Mechanical for your a/c or heating needs.Stephen Marshman

    I was disappointed that my AC was still considered a window unit even though its a large unit and built into the wall, and Indianola Mechanical does not service window units. But Brian checked the coil and tried some other things and its cooling at least for now!! So at least now I know my only option is a new one if it completely quits.     I cant say enough about the fantastic service we received from this company! Our furnace died this morning in the middle of a blizzard. These folks were out here in less than an hour, assessed the problem and replaced our 35 year old furnace in less than 5 hours - totally done! They brought in space heaters to keep us comfortable while they were replacing the old unit and the entire crew was super friendly and congeniel the whole time even though they had to deal with snow drifts and sub-zero temps just to get here and while they were rmoving the old unit. These guys are totally awesome!

    After a long night of trying to troubleshoot furnace issues ourselves, we called around for help. We have called Indianola Mechanical before, and they are one of the only companies where a live-person answers your call with minimal wait-time. The service technician has always been prompt in getting back to us as well (even if it is simply a courtesy call to let us know our place in line). We had the privilege of working with the owner, Dan Hodges, himself today, when the temp was -9°F (feels like -35°F). He was able to provide a temporary fix to our furnace issue within about 10-15 minutes of being onsite and assured us that his team would help provide a more permanent solution. Dont waste your time or money calling anyone else! Thanks Indianola Mechanical!

    They came out on Thanksgiving without the part , drive back to get it then the part wasnt threaded right. They were willing to go get another but we decided to wait until the next Monday so we wouldnt take them any more from Thanksgiving. Came back Monday, fixed it and were wonderful.     We were having issues with our furnace, so we called Indianola Mechanical. They came and looked at our furnace and provided us with all options which included just getting a new part or replacing the entire furnace. Due to the age of our unit, we opted to get a new one. They were able to schedule installation relatively soon. The new furnace only took a day to install. The installer was very friendly and knowledgeable and when he left, the area was cleaner than when he arrived. A few days later, we noticed some leaking around our new furnace. My husband called the company and advised of the situation. They arrived later that same day to assess the situation. The leak was not due to any fault of the installation process and was something with the design that they were able to fix. Two days later, we received a call that they were in the area and wanted to just double check the furnace to make sure it was not leaking and that it was still working ok. There were no further leaks, and the furnace has been working great. We are very impressed with the customer service provided to us during installation and especially after in dealing with the unexpected leak.

    Our furnace quit working overnight and it was 63 in our house. We called Indianola Mechanical and they had a technician at our house within the hour (it was a Sunday evening). Jake Beal was the technician and he went above and beyond; highly recommended Indianola Mechanical and 100% recommend Jake as a technician. He was polite, professional, and efficient. Got it back up and running in a very timely manner! The women answering the phones were also polite, professional and efficient. Our babies will be happy to sleep in a warm home tonight. If you’re in the Indy area, give them a call if your furnace is acting up!

    I called Indianola Mechanical to inquire about having my broken furnace repaired. Kayla was able to have Dan take a look at my furnace just hours after I called. Dan was incredibly professional, on time and explained everything he was doing to diagnose the problem. He was able to determine the motor had failed. We discussed price and pros/cons of complete furnace replacement vs motor replacement . Dan was straightforward with what he thought was my best and most affordable option. With his help I decided to go with a new motor. Dan had the new motor ordered and installed within the hour. Indianola Mechanical is top notch and will be my go to heating and cooling service going forward. I can’t recommend their team enough!

    We have had an annual issue with our furnace for the last couple of years. The same company would come out, give us some story about how we would have to stand on one foot, pat our head and rub our stomach for it to work right. This year we used Indianola Mechanical. We submitted a request on their website, super easy, and first thing the next morning we received a call to set up a time that day for a technician to come out. Alex our technician called us to let us know that he was on our way, showed up on time wearing a mask and covered his boots to keep our floors clean. He then took some time to talk to us about what our issue was and asked questions, something the other company would never do. He then inspected the furnace and explained what he was seeing and what is diagnosis was in an understandable way. After doing his work and cleaning up he told us that if we had any issues to make sure to call him and let him know. He explained what to look for if there were any more problems. Our experience with Alex and Indianola Mechanical should get more than five stars, this was our first time calling them and if we have any other issues that they can take care of they will be my only call.

    I was recommended this place based on their honesty and trustworthiness and I couldn’t agree more after my experience - we need more companies like this that do what’s right for the customer. I was almost taken by a larger HVAC company for almost $1800 for a fix that wasn’t guaranteed to work or $9500 on an all-new system when my current one is 7 years old.
