Bruce and Charles arrived right on time and worked diligently all day to replace our main electrical panel and add a 100 amp service to our detached garage. They kept me informed throughout the day and were very professional. It turned out to be a bigger job than anticipated so a 3rd electrician joined for part of the job, working very hard as well.Bruce and Charles worked until 9:30pm on a Friday night to ensure we had power for the weekend and everything worked properly. I would definitely want these electricians back for any future work!

Recently, my wife and I had Jefferson Electric come to our house to remediate the old knob & tube. Donavyn, the team leader, and his team worked diligently on the issues throughout the house. While they were creative and thorough in their approach, their implementation created minimal disruption and damage to our existing home.The entire job took about two weeks. We were very pleased with the finished product. We would highly recommend Jefferson Electric to anyone needing work on their home and property.

My experience with Jefferson electric was great. Had a tree go down and damage my house to pole wire. Which is something power company isn’t responsible for. After searching for a day for an electrician with no results, my tree guy Ronnie Love, came across this company, no body else had a person available. Jefferson electric made sure that I was taken care of immediately!!! I would have been without power for a while! I’m 65 and ever so grateful. They’re on it!!

Rob and Casey were excellent to work with on the business side of things. They walked me through the process step by step and were always available to answer my questions. On the install side of the process was Sean Staley and his team. This team is the definition of professionals. During the install they were there to answer any questions we had and we had a lot. The attention to detail was incredible. It was the small things that stood out to me like removing their shoes before coming into the house, filing down their cuts on the ground mount and how clean the panels and inverters looked on the house just to name a few. Overall, this company offers one of the best panels on the market and a professional and pleasant experience. I will use Jefferson Electric for all of my solar and electrical needs going forward.

Bruce and Boston did a great job. This was a multipart procedure including moving an electric car charger from our old house to the new one. There were some changes required in the electric panel and while doing these, they discovered a loose wire that could have become a serious fire hazard. It was through their diligence and caution that the problem was discovered.In addition, several surprises showed up during their work and they explained each issue and options for remedy. Great communication.I would recommend Jefferson electric (and especially Bruce and Boston) to anyone in need of some really good electricians.

We used Jefferson Electric in 2015 for a knob-and-tube whole house rewire, and solar panels in 2018. We’ve been pleased with both projects. Today Bruce and Jonas came back to install a 3-way switch. They were prompt, professional, quick, and came up with a great solution to avoid having to patch any holes for the wiring. Stand-up guys doing great work!

All aspects of obtaining permits, scheduling, and installing my solar panels, surge protector, Gateway inverter, Tesla Powerwalls, and EV charger went seamlessly and with minimal obligations (other than paying) on my part. Additionally a few issues with my existing electric service were corrected by Jefferson electricians. Upon completion the inspections by both the county and service provider (utility; in my case REMC) went flawlessly and passed with flying colors.

I am so happy with the job that the team did on Friday. All four guys, Jeramiah, James, Matt, and Jake were all very professional, efficient, and collaborative. They are all great and I so appreciate the extra effort put in to getting the additional staff here to get the ceiling fans installed. The Tesla Wall Connector installation went smoothly as well as the rotation of the new breaker box. I will recommend Jefferson Electric to anyone who asks. In fact, I already recommended Jefferson Electric to the staff at Tesla in Indianapolis just yesterday.

Seriously, what an AMAZING experience. I randomly got ahold of them by using a buy 1 hour get an hour free from Angis list. They talked me through what I wanted and I ended up asking them to do more than I originally thought Id want. They ended up installing 3 overhead lights and power for an attic fan. They did an AMAZING job. it looks great and works great.Since I had a great experience with that I had them send me a quote for running the power for my new hot tub along with power for plug in things to the same area. Their bid was VERY reasonable compared to the other two I received. They did great work and came through with the timeline that I needed.The add on bonus is that they pride themselves in being a partner in the project rather than just DOING the project and man did that shine through. They talked me through my project, gave me some ideas for what I could do differently or better, and it was more like having a friend help you than a business. I could recommend them more!!!!

Once they began the work, they found a bigger issue with my electrical meter base that they were able to resolve that day. With that curve ball, other electricians had come over to help the one assigned to my house that day and displayed some great teamwork. This team was friendly (after she met other Jefferson employees for the onsite estimate, my realtor even was praising their friendly professionalism), easy to work/communicate with, went above any beyond with each task on the list and their finished work was beyond my expectations. They are DEFINITELY going to be the electrician company I will use for my upcoming additional projects at my new house.

An all around great experience. The technician (Jeremiah) was friendly, professional, and efficient. He came out for a relatively small job of replacing a shorted out 220 v receptacle, but went the extra mile by examining the breaker panel as well, to ensure there was no additional damage we could not see. Great service, reasonable pricing, excellent work. They won a life long customer today, and we will DEFINITELY be calling them out for our full wiring replacement on our older home in the future.

I’ve now had Drew out to my home on two jobs and he’s been courteous, professional, timely, and exceeded expectations both times. My latest job was rerouting a 220 feed to my AC unit. The HVAC company routed the cable through my wall, inside the garage, and then back into a hole under the breaker panel. It was the sloppiest work I’d ever seen. Drew took the time to carefully cut the drywall and route it safely within the wall. I was fully expecting to have a big drywall hole but Drew carefully placed and screwed the drywall back so it requires minimal patching. I can’t recommend these folks enough. I’m planning more work with them.

When I first called Jefferson for help with our dishwasher (which had no power going to it), I was greeted by Doug. He was incredibly helpful on the phone and realized that we were in a bit of a hurry to get it fixed. He immediately started calling around, seeing if he could get anyone out to help us on the same day I called. This is unheard of - this effort meant the world to us.Then on our scheduled day, the guy who actually came to help us out (Im embarrassed to say that I forgot his name) was the nicest dude ever. He tried like ten different solutions to get this stupid dishwasher working (and he finally did!). I was floored to see how determined he was to fix the problem! We had two different companies come out before we called Jefferson and they both looked at it for five minutes, said they couldnt fix it, and left. We were getting pretty frustrated.It was refreshing to work with a company who really cares about us. We will definitely be calling them FIRST the next time we need an electrician. Jefferson was recommended for solar installation by one of their customers in Lafayette. Their proposal for our 52 panel split array was competitive. Scheduling was challenging as we had asphalt shingles replaced with metal roof as a foundation for the panels. The crew that installed the system was A1. Very knowledgeable and friendly. So the panels were finally in place and generating electric Thursday before Labor Day weekend. Friday morning there was no output from either array. When I texted my contact at Jefferson he replied that he was busy and would get back with me later. When 4:00 pm rolled around with no word I called the office and left a message. We are so excited to be investing in renewable energy and so disappoint to be left hanging for a three day weekend. Oh and I will be out of town next week. I’m giving four stars under the assumption that this will get resolved by and by but right now I am so bummed out.

Great experience all around! Had a team come over and spend an entire day in the backyard setting up EV charging, installing surge protectors for our solar panels, and rewiring parts of the garage (which involved trenching wires to the house). It was a very involved project and quite honestly a little stressful but everyone as Jefferson Electric made the process as smooth as can be. The team of 4 arrived early, were in constant communication with my partner and I with relevant updates, and really made sure we were happy with the work and placement of things. Shoutout to Jeremiah (lead), Boston, Charles, and Dustin - they were awesome!! Really appreciate that they stayed behind to make sure everything was cleaned up and to show us all the newly installed disconnects / test the EV charger.

Weve been delighted both with our panels and with Jefferson Electric. The installation (27 panels) took only one day! Although our Apple router was unfamiliar to them, they made sure to get the connection resolved so that we could monitor our electrical production. Everything has worked perfectly.
