We have used David Electric for several projects and they never fail to deliver outstanding service. We had them install power for an EV charger in the garage recently. Isaiah showed exactly when scheduled, did a great job with the installation, and cleaned up afterwards. He was easy to talk to and explained everything. Price was what we expected with no surprises. We had Caleb from DAVID Electric over the day before Thanksgiving, working on installing new lights and fans in three rooms—while we had family bustling around for the holiday! Caleb was kind, hardworking, and incredibly patient, even chatting with my boyfriends father, whose humor felt straight out of an Allstate commercial. Despite all the activity, Caleb worked efficiently and left everything spotless—it was like he hadnt even been there, aside from the beautiful new installations. Highly recommend him and DAVID Electric for their professionalism and excellent service!

Second time Caleb with David Electric has had to come out to our house. This time I requested him by name. He is truly a master at his profession and very friendly. He understands that an old guy like me needs to ask many questions and he politely explains everything he finds and how it needs to be fixed. He has solved age-old electrical issues and has corrected the work done by reputable outfits. He does not try to up-sell me on updating and modernizing everything, instead offers solutions to work within our budget while making sure our house is safe. It is so nice to know that if I have an electrical issue I can call David Electric and I will get an honest assessment and I would 100% trust the path that they recommend to fix it.

Isaiah did a great job installing fans in our bathrooms. We were able to get someone out for an 8 hour job in less than a week. The work that was done was very neat unlike some other electricians we have used, and he made sure to ask questions for anything that would aesthetically impact the bathrooms. Price was very reasonable for a day-long job, so we definitely will be using David Electric again.

Today I had an electrical issue with my dryer outlet where the outlet was smoking and smelled like burning. I called David electric and they were able to get someone out within hours. Then Adam called and was able to come earlier which was wonderful! He came in and figured out the problem within minutes and fixed it so quickly. Adam was very kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. Very grateful for this company and his service today!

We recently bought a home that had quite a few electrical issues. Mary answered all of our questions. Jose did a thorough assessment. Lauren was very responsive to our calls, talked us through the issues identified in the inspection, helped us understand how to address them in the safest, most cost-effective way and kept us updated on the progress. Sam and Adam arrived on time, did careful work and left the work areas super clean. We wont use anyone else in the future. Highly recommend!!

They scheduled two techs to come replace a ceiling fan in a vaulted ceiling, and they were both very professional. They even called me the morning of the job to tell me they would be about 10 minutes due to traffic. Very much appreciated given how difficult it can be to get service providers to arrive on time or at all. They finished the job in a little over an hour. Great experience overall.

I highly recommend David Electric because of their commitment to saving customers both time and money. I received multiple quotes to upgrade my electrical panel. David Electric beat all of the competitors and were alignment with HomeAdvisor’s average for upgrading an electrical panel. The technicians were polite, responsive, and showed up on time. The owner of David Electric should be extremely proud of their crew! I need to find a plumber like David now. Please send referrals.6/24/2022: I utilized David Electric to install my Tesla Wall Connector. Again, the cost was very affordable compared to what Tesla and others quoted me. David hires excellent technicians and I would highly recommend for installing your Tesla wall connector too. Brian the Service delivery manager is easy to work with. I would say that he treats customers like they are always right, and that he does the right thing for his customers.

I have used DAVID Electric on several occasions, and they always exceed my expectations. Most recently, I had a ceiling fan with light installed in a room that previously didn’t have any existing light fixture, and a porch light replaced. Juan and Billy have done work at my home separately, and they were on time, friendly, and professional. Today, Billy gave me some tips on what qualities to look for in items I will eventually have DAVID Electric install. Highly recommend to anyone, commercial or residential!

I received multiple quotes from this had this company to swap out an electrical panel, among a few other things. They came in at a fraction of the cost of what other companies quoted me. The company sent out an electrician named Caleb. Great kid! Certainly knew his stuff and gave honest opinions about what really needing fixed/repaired opposed to HARD selling me (like the other companies). Vibed with this guy and would highly recommend requesting Caleb as he genuinely was there to fix my problems, not to hard sell me on things I really didnt need. Electrician was quick and worked around my work from home schedule when power/Internet needed to be off. Even came early one morning where I had a Zoom call I had to attend later that morning.

Our heat went out Christmas week, and we needed the electrical system checked and repaired so the heat tech could finish the furnace work. Other electricians would not dispatch until after Christmas. I called DAVID Electric, and they had a tech to my house within 2 hours. Adam was great at checking everything and explaining what needed to be fixed. I needed a new disconnect on my furnace unit outside. He checked all the wiring in and outside until everything was reading fully powered. I was afraid this top-notch service was going to result in a huge bill. It was under 300, which I considered a steal. I recommend DAVID Electric for their professional attitude, for their speedy scheduling and for getting the job done in a timely manner. Adam was great at explaining things, stayed steady working, and showed me the completed work. 5 star service at reasonable rates. Pick DAVID Electric!

Brian had an opening and was able to come a few days early. He arrived promptly and was clean, friendly and knew his job. He was able to find the problem of the circuit that wasnt working, a loose neutral wire on one of the outlets, and get that working again pretty quickly. Then he gave us two options for getting GFCI added to the baths and kitchen and let us know what the difference in pricing would be. I was very pleasantly surprised by the price and that we could get everything done with just one trip. I will definitely give them a call for more work as we remodel and upgrade this older home.

I highly recommend David Electric. Several months ago, we experienced two electrical issues - one with our outdoor driveway lights and another with our electricity to our bedroom. I believe it was Max who came over, and he was outstanding. He was warm, professional, and after kindly greeting our dog and assuring him that he was a safe guest, he quickly got to work. Max inspected the issue, explained the problem clearly, and addressed it. The price was fair, and we havent had an issue since.

Were replacing our wood burner fireplace with a gas fireplace and we needed an outlet moved to behind our TV above the fireplace as well as a line ran down to the fire box for the blower. I called David Electric after seeing all the positive reviews and the receptionist (Mary) who was polite and very helpful dispatched Isaiah who was able to come out the same day. Isaiah called 30 minutes before arrival and after entering my house, I could tell within a short amount of time the job would go well, and it did. I had a room with no working outlets and switch. Id tried fixing it for quite some time with no luck, more than a couple of years. Ive been able to fix everything else in my house. Im an electrical engineer and try telling people Im the smartest guy in the world.....its not true, but I tell people that.Isaiah showed up on time, was professional, friendly, and responsible....and he found and fixed my problem in 15 minutes!! Maybe quicker! He made use of his time here and also touched up a few things Id done sloppily.I was too happy to have it fixed to be embarrassed at how quickly he showed me up!I think David Electric will be the only place I call for electrical work from now on.

Weve consistently gotten good, professional service from David Electric--BUT:1. Recently, we ascheduled a 10:00 a.m. arrival. At 11:25 I called the office wondering if I had the date wrong, because theyre supposed to let you know if theyre on the way or running late.They apologized for not contacting me. The electrician had unforeseen complications at the previous job. He finally called and then came 2 1/2 hour late.2. I needed a simple switch replaced, for which he had to go to Lowes. Why arent basic supplies and parts kept on each truck? Luckily were very near Lowes. That would often be a 20-minute drive, which would cost about $100. Youd think a professional electrician would be ready with standard switches, receptacles, etc.3. They charge 4% for credit card payments. With card payments being almost universal these days, how many businesses do that?4. I was given no paper invoice nor receipt, but told they would be emailed to me in a few days. Again, how many businesses take payment without presentation of any invoice or receipt, paper or virtual?Ill go elsewhere next time.

Had a great experience working with this group and wanted to share here. Had an issue on the Friday night of a holiday weekend (scorching hot light switch, burning plastic, shut off circuit to be safe). I submitted a ticket online that evening. By Saturday AM, they had reached out and two hours later there was a technician at our place. We were fortunate to work with Billy. He did an awesome job of quickly finding the problem, and getting some parts swapped out. He was patient and thorough, even taking time to teach us about what happened. I also appreciated his efficiency as our issue was fixed quickly. Price was very reasonable for an urgent visit. Id recommend these folks to anyone in the area and Id give Billy maximum kudos.

The panel was replaced cleanly, generator hookup fully installed, and he even finished the lighting circuit I was working on. We had a power outage in our master bedroom. We had someone else come out and they quoted us $2500 to run a new home wire. We thought that was too much contacted DAVID and holy cow. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it less time that than the first company and for way, way less. It wasnt even a home wire issue and the problem wasnt even in the same room! They did a wonderful job, explained everything very clear, and were over all outstanding. We had the tech Billy and he was fantastic. We will be using them again for all our electrical needs.

After describing the problem they instantly suggested what I knew sounded like the right answer (and what our original home builder should have done years ago). They tell you up front about their hourly rates and by my experience finish very quickly to charge as little as possible. I would definitely hire them again.

David Electric has been out twice now to help me out. Both times the service was excellent and very professional. I was called both times about 20-30 minutes before the electrician showed up for service, and both times the electrician showed up within the time frame I was given upon scheduling the appointment.Both jobs werent incredibly difficult jobs, but were things I was unable to do or didnt care to learn how to do. I was more comfortable having someone else come and take care of it for me.There were recessed can lights in my bathroom and kitchen that would shut off when they became too hot, which was really frustrating when I was trying to cook and my light source went out. I was unsure if it was a simple swap of lights, or if there was electrical work to be done. Jose came and checked for me, and there was less work to be done that I thought, which was great! Jose replaced all of the terrible old lights with new, LED ones and now my home is extremely bright and energy efficient. Thanks, Jose!I had a fan that had been replaced, but because it was on a dimmer switch it would flicker and was incredibly noisy! Billy came and fixed it, changing the dimmer for a regular switch, installing the remote, and my fan now runs with more power and completely silent. Thank you, Billy!

Saturday is the single most busy day for our business... we had an electrical issue that was going to make getting through the day, much less the weekend, very difficult, if not impossible. We discovered our meter base and riser had been damaged, weather head and conduit pulled away from the house, and our power line was hanging inches away from our garage roof. We called them on a Friday night and they were able to have the work started Saturday morning. Cesar showed up first thing in the morning and worked all day to make the needed repairs and install our new equipment. He did an awesome job. The IPL guy even complemented his work saying it was some of the best and secure job he’s seen. Cesar was friendly and explained all of the improvements he made. Wow! These guys are good. I had the lights in my living room and kitchen go out. I thought it was a bad circuit breaker and almost tried to replace myself. Glad I didnt. So... dont let your ex do electrical work in your house, no matter what they say about their skills. I went down to the basement on Thursday, 1/2/2020, to do some Spring cleaning/purging (yes, in the winter) and was gonna swap out the Wii for a Roku since I planned to never Wii bowl again. I reached behind the tv console to unplug the Wii and as soon as I pulled the plug out, the socket sparked and all of the lights in the basement went out. Its like 5:30pm so Im sitting there in the pitch black. I grab a flashlight, move the tv and the console and see an outlet with no faceplate and isnt even screwed into the housing. Its not even flush with the wall... its like 1/4 inch behind the drywall. So, I freak out because I dont mess with electric and I am now convinced my house is going to explode and everyone will see my clutter blown all over Broad Ripple.I start researching electricians near me and find a couple with good reviews. I call the first one and I end up talking to some guy in a call center who knows jack about electricity and tells me they cant send anyone to help me until the 7th unless my furnace is out... but that effer is still running so, crap. On to #2.I call David Electric and get a guy named Brian who sounded like he would have answered the phone even if I had called at 2am. I explain to him what happened, tell him I dont do electric and he giggles at me. Love him already. He says it would be crazy expensive to have someone come out right then because it was after hours and that it wasnt necessary. He made sure that my breaker had tripped and told me to leave it tripped if it made me feel safer. He asked me some general questions to make sure that I felt safe and understood what it could be and honestly, I felt SO much better. He knew his stuff, he put my fears to rest and I was no longer worried that my house would go up in flames. So, he scheduled my appointment for the very next day, between 4 and 5pm. He tells me the rate for the first hour is $134 + materials (if there are any) and I think he said it was $66 for each additional hour... dont quote me on that. All is well now and my appointment is set so I leave the creepy basement and finish out my night.The next morning, around 7:15am, I received a text from Brian asking if they could bump my appointment up to the first appointment (at 8am) rather than the last appointment. I was already at work so I said Id check with my boss and get back to him. Boss man said it was fine for me to head out so I let Brian know and head home. Billy showed up right on time. He came in, checked the outlet, walked me through everything and told me what he thought happened. He said the hot wire had just touched the side of the metal housing when I unplugged the Wii and showed me the little black mark on the side of the housing. So, he fixed the outlet, moved it up so it was flush with the wall, secured it, and put the plate back on. He flipped the breaker, checked the outlet and everything was good to go.We get down to the dirty part... the payment. Low and behold, my fee was $134. He explains that if I use my debit card, there will be a 5% fee which was fine because I have no clue where my checkbook is. My total came to $139.05. Billy was nice and polite and quick and efficient and he never once spoke to me like an idiot for not knowing how anything electric works. PLUS he gave me these really cool David Electric pens and got me out of work for a couple hours so I couldnt be happier with him and the company. I have several other electrical type things that I want to have done around my house and I will be calling David Electric for all of it. Highly recommend them.

David is the man. His crew really came through in a pinch last August when there was a big storm in Broad Ripple, they stayed past midnight replacing our weatherhead. A few minor concerns were addressed promptly. He even came back months after the fact to correct the fusebox cover panel, responded immediately and insisted on doing it free of charge. A really friendly, professional guy. Just a class act all around!
