I was nervous using a company that came knocking on my door, however Sunny Alexander (Project Manager) was very professional and took his time to explain what was needed and how the process worked. He even worked with my insurance company to make sure that everything that needed to get done, would get done. JG Contracting made sure that everything was done in a timely manner and done correctly. Its so hard to know who to trust anymore these days, but I had a very pleasant experience with this company and I would recommend them to anyone. New roof, new gutters, replace some rotten wood on the deck and fence and then stain both the deck and fence. Thanks.

They transformed my house! It’s so very very beautiful! Joe was the best project manager, always responded in a timely manner. He worked tirelessly to get the insurance company to pay up as much as possible and helped me find great financing to make the whole thing completely affordable. Devon was exactly what I needed when deciding what do do about my front porch. Gave me options and the best solution possible. I would totally use them again for anything construction related. They are the best!!!

I had JG Contracting replace all 18 of the windows in my home with their Vinylmax energy efficient windows. They worked fast, were very professional and thorough. The aluminum wrap around the windows on the exterior looks great and will keep us from ever having to fix any wood rot around the windows. They also replaced a patio door and did a fantastic job on that. They left our home and premises clean and just the way they found it. Just as impressive was that I got a visit from the owner, Joe Grntle because he wanted to personally follow up and see the job his crew did. Wish I had thought to snap some before photos so people could see the vast difference between what we had and what JG Contracting installed. As it is, I have included a couple of after photos. I highly recommend Joe and his team at JG Contracting!

As the snow and various types of winter precipitation land on our roof, I am happy to know that we have a new, beautiful roof on our house to protect us from the weather. JG Contracting tore off the old hail damaged roof and replaced it for us. They did a super job installing the roof, gutters, and helmets to keep leaves out of the guttering. They went out of their way to do a little touch up on a piece of damaged siding (damage from the hail storm). I also really liked the way they filed the claim for us and helped us through the process with our insurance company. Anything I was confused about, JG was quick to clear up. Some of the nicest people work for JG Contracting. Heaven forbid we will need their services again, but I would not hesitate to use them.

We recently had a new roof put on by J G Contracting Co. From the knock at our door to the actual tear off and replacement it went very smoothly. They accessed the damage and then met with our insurance adjuster who agreed that we had a total loss. A date was set, supplies were put on our roof the day before and 7 men showed up early and the job was completed the same day. You could not tell that they had been there as the cleanup was super.Owner Joe Gentle along with Project Manager Dominic Muolowere both available from start to finish and it was a pleasure towork with both of them. And the roof looks fabulous.THANKS!!!!

JG Contracting was doing several roofs in my neighborhood due to a major hail storm, so I decided to have Jason look at my roof to see if it qualified for replacement.After looking at my roof and giving me an honest assessment, he determined that there wasn’t enough damage to warrant filing a claim through my insurance. (He also cleaned several of my clogged gutters free of charge).I was really surprised by his honesty, because a few years back I had another company look at the exact same roof, that at that time was a few years newer and tell me it was damaged, only to have the insurance company deny my claim.I would recommend this company to anybody because all of my neighbors were raving about what a great job they did as far as workmanship, cleanup and just overall customer service!

Samantha,the painter and roofers were all professional and listened to my concerns and answered all questions to my satisfaction. The painter did an excellent job and went above and beyond to make sure the color scheme pulled together. Samantha spent time with me going through my options and explained everything clearly,she was available when I had questions and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. Great crew, good company. I will continue to use them for my housing needs. My roof looks great and has withstood the terrible weather we had right after it was put on. The roofers worked hard through rain,snow,cold and high winds,good workers.

I had seven windows installed and the installers were amazing. Devon did my indoor trim and he was exceptional. He did a beautiful job. He had an amazing attitude and paid close attention to the details. He even was very accommodating to my desires to keep the house clean through the renovation and took his shoes off inside. I know that was annoying but I appreciate him accommodating me. He was absolutely wonderful and I would use JG again

I had my roof and guttering done about 2 years ago with JG Contracting. It was a pleasure doing business with them as they made it so easy for me. They talked and handled all details with the insurance company in a timely manner so I could get my roof and guttering done. The people who worked on my home were all nice and did a great job. They made sure to cover a big fountain I have in my front yard and were very mindful of the flowers and plants in my yard too. After all was completed they cleaned up all debris and rolled a huge magnet around everywhere to make sure no nails were left in my yard or driveway. I was so pleased with the service I had received I have since had them back. I have been working with Jim Kisner who has been very helpful as I needed to replace some windows. Now he is helping me again as I needing to replace a back French door. Jim has done a great job overseeing the projects done in my home and I appreciate the time and effort he has given me.Thank you so much JG Contracting for all the great work you have done so far and will be doing for me soon and in the future.

We were selling our house and needed to get a new roof on fast and they were able to respond quickly to my needs and they contacted my insurance company to get the work approved by them so that I only had to pay my deductible. They were able to complete the job prior to closing to meet my needs and they provided a warranty for the new owner. Fast and friendly service and listened to my needs and worked to exceed my expectations. The yard was clear of any debris once they completed the work.

Dumpster and all roofing supplies showed up the day prior to installation. Installers were on time, very efficient and cleaned up absolutely all mess. Randie was there to do the work not later than the next day and I couldnt be happier with the work, the attention to detail, and the promptness of the service.When Randie was out for the first job a couple of years ago, she even let us know about a problem with the siding that we didnt know about when she came over to look at the roof! Thats above and beyond for sure. She was honest about the condition of the roof and took time to explain what was going on with it.I would definitely recommend the company and Randie!

Insurance adjusters will do anything they can to avoid paying for a new roof. When JG looked at my roof, they met the insurance adjuster at my house, personally walked the roof showing them the damage, and got my entire roof replace by the insurance company. Without JG, this wouldnt have happened. The quality of work on my new roof was top notch, and they stood by their word with everything we asked for. JG will get all my future business.

She came to my home and told me that my roof looked like it was in o.k. shape other than a few hail hit spots, but i shouldnt call in a claim just yet, her honesty was refreshing. She was professional, to the point and honest . i will contact her the next time server weather comes through, and have her come out and check again!

Overall went great cant really complain as ripping off a roof and gutters can cause a mess. But i will say they got it done in the time quoted and before i knew it, i blinked, and they had it clean and i could hardley tell that they were there. Mike was my project manager and was knowledgeable about the product and proccess plus he even helped cleaning up afterwards. A couople minor things happened but really wasnt an issue he jumoed on each issue and resolved them quickly. I would definitely recomend Mike and JG Contracting. Thanks again for making it easy for me!

Very disappointed in the ability to communicate and organize tasks. The attention to details was frustrating. The quality of the work overall was satisfactory. But the other issues outweighed that.Update. JG has worked with us on the issues we had. They have assured us that changes have been made to become better. Joe Gentel, owner of JG contracting, his staff Matt Macon and Devon Swinney, and the entire JG contracting crew are absolutely amazing. The best company I have worked with in my life. Hands down if you need a new roof, this is the company you want on your roof. When the project started, a surprise rain storm popped up. His crew scrambled to tarp my roof, but unfortunately, a little water was taken in. I was not happy. Every team member I talked to assured me that everything would be okay. I have a doubt, as a lot of companies these days seem to try to pass the buck. Not JG and their team. Everything has been handled accordingly, fixed properly above and beyond the call of duty. This is a team who knows what customer service is, and they understand that, “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.” ~ Vince Lombardi. They strive for excellence in everything they do. When our roof was complete, Matt was up there and took pictures of the job and showed us what a good roof should look like. May 9, 2018Dear Joe and J&G Contracting:First, since I wrote more than I anticipated – my wife and I are strongly recommending J & G Contracting for roof and home repairs. They do quality work and guarantee their work and products.As many in the KC Northland remember, in November of 2016 we had a pretty severe hail storm. We didn’t have our roof checked right away but when a neighbor had J & G check theirs I asked one of their service reps, Wyatt, to check ours. The neighbor, by the way, had J & G replace their roof. Wyatt came over the same afternoon and checked our roof and found it to be badly damaged. The damage was not seen from the ground and only by placing a finger in the hail damaged spot could one tell. After climbing and walking all over our roof Wyatt called our insurance company and made the claim for us. Our insurance adjuster called a couple days later and we were last on the list, but if we agreed to a Sunday afternoon he could squeeze us in. Wyatt wanted to be with the adjuster and when I called him he was willing to come Sunday afternoon as well. Wyatt walked the roof again with the adjuster and pointed out what he had seen previously and maximized our insurance coverage. The beautiful roof was replaced in Feb. 2017.Fast forward to April 2018; we (my wife) spotted a sagging low spot beneath our sky light. We weren’t sure what it was so, we called J & G Contracting to check it out. They inspected it and discovered that the sky light and structure around it were not anchored correctly when it was installed. Even though it wasn’t something that they did not directly damage, they were apologetic that they hadn’t caught the problem before or during the re-shingling of the roof. Joe and team at J & G Contracting said they would support around the sky light and raise the dip in our roof.Today, May 9, 2018, a couple able bodied men, Dennis and Jim, came and did the fix; and at no charge. They told us that they want their customers to be satisfied with their work. Wow, we are very satisfied and appreciative. You can count on J & G Contracting to do excellent work and to stand behind it and then some. A heartfelt thanks from us.Bob & DebiGladstone, MO
